Since waking up on the morning of 31st July 2007, ‘natural’ disasters were very much on my mind. It was the first thing I thought of on getting up, and the last thing I thought of before going to sleep.

Disaster in France - a warning to Wimereux

The town name of ‘Wimereux’ which was also pronounced ‘Vimereux’ when I heard it spoken, came to my ’spriritual ears’ first thing on waking up yesterday - which I recalled vaguely as being a town in France or Switzerland. That’s all I knew about it though, nothing else. ‘What are you saying God? Do you wish to speak to me about Wimereux?’ I asked. I then saw the town being ’swept away’ by a natural disaster, the houses almost literally being picked up and tossed/swept away by the force of the disaster. I looked Wimereux up on google later that day and apparently ‘Wimereux’ which was also once pronounced ‘Vimereux’ years ago, is one and the same place and its name changed many years ago, with the ‘V’ changed to ‘W’, which I had no way of knowing naturally. The town is in Northern France. I asked God about it again and then saw the Holy Spirit like a seagull hovering over the seashore, in the sky just out at sea from the town’s coastline and He was brooding over the place. ‘There’s a storm coming,’ this seagull screeched in warning, and like birds do when they sense trouble their behaviour is differant and the way it flied around was differant to the norm - it was hurrying, it was urgent.

‘May the people of this town repent and call out to you that you may avert this disaster!’ I cried to God, remembering Nineveh and that this vision may not be a future certainity if people repent and cry out to God for mercy.

I then saw the people of the locality going to a rubbish dump and dumping off their rubbish there. I then saw that it was toxic as I saw the green skull and crossbones that you see on toxic items and I saw the pollution rise from this dump as it ‘whiffed’ in the air. I felt this toxity, this poison, was also going to be problematic too and was linked to the above.

Later that evening when reading my Bible, asking the Lord for more insight, I was drawn to all these scriptures below (Note: I did not do a search for them). Almost everything I came across was to do with judgment coming from the sea and bringing disaster. There are others too I did not all write down.

Do not let the floodwaters engulf me or the depths swallow me up (Psalm 69:15)
For I am the LORD your God, who churns up the sea so that its waves roar— the LORD Almighty is his name. (Isaiah 51:15)
I am about to stretch out my hand ….. and destroy those remaining along the coast. (Ezekiel 25:16)
This is what the Sovereign LORD says: When I make you a desolate city, like cities no longer inhabited, and when I bring the ocean depths over you and its vast waters cover you…. (Ezekiel 26:19)
Now you are shattered by the sea in the depths of the waters; your wares and all your company have gone down with you. All who live in the coastlands are appalled at you; their kings shudder with horror and their faces are distorted with fear. (Ezekiel 27:34)

The sound of thunder - earthquakes

At either 9.25 pm or 9.35 pm GMT (UK time) that night I saw very clearly an earthquake beginning to rumble elsewhere in the world. I specifically told one of the people I was with what I’d just seen and to make a note of the time and at the time of writing I cannot remember if it was 25 past or 25 to the hour. The land was not just rumbling though or cracking. I do not know much about earthquakes or geology at all, but it seemed to later cause a knock on effect of making what looked like a mountain of mud fall sliding down over itself or something like a landslide or avalanche of brown mud or earth but that’s not quite right but I cannot describe it very well as I do not have the scientific/techncial expertise to understand what I saw. God told me that this earthquake was just a ‘baby’ earthquake compared to the one that would follow, like it was a pre-quake or whatever they have before the proper ‘big’ one. (Note I have in the past seen earthquakes as, or just before, they happen and it is often to intercede for the people there as well as much to warn or to prophesy about these disasters).
 

Earthquakes and engulfed by the sea and other ‘natural’ disasters, even famine, they are all signs of the End Times. Birth pangs if you like - or contractions. I reflected on this for a time, feeling that these are indeed the End Times and that Jesus is returning soon.
