I saw in a vision on the 22nd July 2007 that many ministries today (note I do not say ‘all’) were robbing the widows of their mites.

‘Woe to those ministries and agencies who pretend to give to the poor, but instead build up treasures only for themselves,’ said God. I then saw a vision of the ’slums’ - the large public housing schemes - where these ‘widows’ came from - and I saw that even after the mite was given they were still the slums, with nothing done, nothing changed, and nobody (least of all the shepherds) caring and the widow’s life untouched physically or spiritually.This vision echos: And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks? Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock. (Ezekiel 34:1-3)The ministries I saw - these bad and greedy shepherds - fleece their own sheep day after day, and the ones that most suffer by this are the poor - the widows, the single mothers, the desperate - and particularly, dare I say, African-Americans - who are encouraged to ’sow’ financially with all they have into a ministry lulled with twisted truths and false promises so they may get back blessing one hundred-fold. And this money? It goes to buy limosines and private jets and palaces with gold-plated bathrooms. The widow’s money sows nothing into God’s Kingdom, and so it is robbed, and the sheep are left still unfed and desperate and disillusioned. The widow’s mite instead feeds the shepherd’s greedy self-centred lifestyle that worships the god of mammon rather than the God of creation. This money should be going into real ministry going to the slums, into feeding the 21st century widows and orphans, NOT feeding these evangelist’s bellies, fat and filled with gloating, pride and smugness.May these ministries and shepherds repent before God and then get their priorities right - may they sell their palaces, fine clothes and fancy cars and jets and redirect the money into the slums with the poor, rather than than build up their marble palaces of indolence. Then God’s wrath will be turned away from them and they will be storing treasure for themself in heaven, in the life to come - treasure that will not be destoyed by fire but endures.
‘Woe to such as them! says the Lord. ‘My anger is at boiling point and is bubbling over. For too long I have endured these vile men and their schemes, who rush to carry a message I never gave them or sent them with. They profit from pain and misery, and take pleasure in it, and like vultures pick on the flesh of the dead. They surround themselves with the trappings of vanity and luxury, while not realising they are trapped themselves into a snare. Little do they realise their own poverty, their own need before me, and the severity of my day of judgment when it comes - nor do they realise its swiftness, for it will come and will strike them out as quickly as if it were the strike of a pen across a piece of paper. ‘Then they will quake before me and know I am Lord and they will cry out with fear as they see my wrath and realise their own evil deeds. They will see the many ministry lines of theirs made up of the dead in mourning and they will mourn and groan and writhe in misery before the Lord as a woman writhes in the agonies of childbirth. A woman dressed in black with a dark veil across her head is in mourning - she weeps, her face grey and lifeless and contorted in misery - she is part of the lines of people all dressed in black, she is now fallen where she stood in her spot on the floor of the church where she stood in line, she is dead, asleep, the many others with her like this are all dead, asleep, grey and lifeless and dressed in black and mourning with veils covering their heads, slumped in the spots where they stood waiting for life, to be fed instead with nothing - she and they did not know the life, they did no know the truth, they did not know the way but were led astray far from it, so they are lifeless. ‘You should have shown these people the way, truth and the life, you could have offered them my Son, instead you offered them you own merchandise for your own profit and entertainment!’ cries the Lord, and he is angry indeed. ‘These men will mourn that they led crowds such as these astray in their masses and will cry out and there will be no mercy for these men on that day, and these crowds will be the testimony of misery against them and the millstone around their neck that sinks them to the depths because of their own evil deeds. (“It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he would cause one of these little ones to stumble. (Luke 17:2))‘Day after day these men profane my name, and with vulgarity on their lips they practice their evil peddling. They make merchandise from my poor ones, (And through covetousness shall they (the false prophets) with feigned words make merchandise of you (2 Peter 2:3 KJV) )and yet with their well-polished shoes they kick the tender and wounded lamb away from God’s door. They inhibit others from the true way of salvation and instead erect their own idols of self-fancy and lies and make ministry tapes, books and CDs to fill minds with fanciful notions that are not the truth.‘Enough! I have endured enough! Instead a time is coming where these men will fall by the sword of the ones they have sought to flatter: the ones they considered to be their ‘friends’ or allies. They concocted evil schemes with these evil men behind closed doors thinking they would be safe from harm and safe from wrath but they forgot my wrath - they will be bitten by their own treachery turned back on themselves. Such will be my judgment on these men and these vultures will be laid bare to vultures of the air when I pour out my wrath on them.’ (With this I get the sense of some prominent shepherds aka ‘Christian’ leaders, specifically from the USA, making pacts with certain leaders of nations or other bigwigs - such as in the Middle East as I see an Arabic leader with a red and white headscarf being one of these men - these false shepherds will sell out/compromise many others and do what is not God’s will for their own profit or gain or exaltation. They think they do this in secret but these false shepherds will be betrayed/double-crossed just as they have betrayed others.) * And the ‘widows’ are not just robbed financially, but they are robbed spiritually and in other ways. People - not just widowed women - can be wealthy financially but still be poor in spirit and have their needs unmet by these bad shepherds. So there can also can be unchanged ’slums’ in even the wealthy parts of towns - untouched and wrecked lives - unchanged physically or spiritually because the shepherd did not shepherd them as he did not care.

(Note again I do not say ‘all’ ministries are crooks.)

However, shepherds can rob their flocks in far more subtle ways and all shepherds should take heed and examine themselves lest they or ‘their’ ministry or churches sin advertently or inadvertently and rob the widow of her mite to any degree.

The example of a chain letter/begging letter above was from ‘prophet’ Peter Popoff who is known for peddling mineral water on Christian television that will heal the sick if you send in a donation to his ‘ministry’. See also this link which would be laughable if it were not so serious:

This kind of rubbish paves the way to superstition, misery and hell!

There are many people in the church that have been so blinded by the prosperity gospel and the poor teaching of the word faith movement that they fall for this hook, line and sinker. I have written before about Christian ’sanctified superstition’ and this falls into this too. Before you ask, how can his supporters be so blind and foolish? I know Peter Popoff is an extreme and more obvious example of a charlatan - however this type of teaching, this merchandising of the gospel - affects many thousands of people in the church today on all sorts of differant levels, and usually more cleverly, subtlely and slickly.

Modern day Simon the Sorcerers can be quite clever about the way they convince you to part with your money for a ministry conference that costs hundreds of dollars to attend or other overpriced books, cds, dvds, etc. They can be extremely manipulative about it too, so if you go to a Benny Hinn or Morris Cerullo healing meeting, for example, there will be a large focus on the envelopes on each seat to generously stuff with a ministry gift, or better still add your credit card details to, before the meeting starts in earnest. Although it is not explicitly said, it is deliberately implied that if you do not give generously financially in faith to the ministry, you will not be healed or will not get blessed so much or recieve from God that night. Manipulative to the extreme. If your kid is dying of cancer you will give everything to have them healed, you will not dare risk offending God by depriving these men of your last cent, you’ll even hock your house for your child to get well and these wicked men know it and exploit it to the extreme. I have had several people email me to stick up for Benny Hinn, and that he ‘really is not a crook, honest.’ God knows Hinn’s ministry’s finances and will judge him/them or not as the case may be. Even if Benny Hinn is not one of the greedy shepherds I prophesied about before, I was and am very offended by his organisation’s obvious guilt manipulation when asking for finances at a healing meeting. They know exactly what they are doing. Let us no be naive about this. It looks and feels totally disgusting. If I am disgusted, how much more will be the world, I am not taking that remark back about Benny Hinn because his ministry’s actions are greedy, wrong, manipulative, self-serving and evil. How would Christ feel about this? He was angry enought about the merchants in the temple selling pigeons etc for sacrifices - a ‘must’ have in the Jewish religion. How much more is he angry about the merchants attempting to sell healing or the Holy Spirit. Can you see Christ before dishing out the loaves and fishes, asking for a ministry donation and promising that you will get more bread and fish beause you have given more generously at the meeting? Of course not! This is poison, you say? Exactly. My point, exactly. Benny Hinn, if you are a true servant of the Lord Jesus, stop this manipulation in the name of Jesus. God will more than provide for you if you honour him.

A lot of Christians jump to the defence of these telly-evangelist charlatans (note I do not say all TV evangelists are charlatans - there may be some genuine ones out there), they claim that God ‘uses’ these tv evangelists, so they must be from God, they reason. This is an extremely blinkered and naive view! First of all the Christians are assuming that God uses these men, based on no other facts than what they assume must be the case or what they have been told by the money-making ministry itself, which is hardly evidence. Secondly, even if there were genuine healings and miracles coming through these men (which I doubt) - there is a lot of hype and false promises and counterfeit anointing however - then it still does not mean they are genuine apostles as the Bible claims that there will be those that decieve with false signs and wonders in the Last Days, and their words must be weighed along with their works. Listening to the amount of bunkum coming from these people’s smarmy mouths, and seeing their sleezy and greedy extreme lifestyle proves they are not of God. Thirdly, there may be some genuine servants of God in there who preach the truth, but are sinning by being greedy or self-centred or apathetic.

Lastly, though many of the men are fake, the half-truths that they spit forth from their vile mouths are still the word of God in distorted form, so God can use this word if he desires to bring genuine faith, salvation, healing etc if he wishes, just as (I imagine) he can convert someone using the distorted Jehovah’s Witness or Mormon Bible if he wants to, although it would be rare I think. God also used pharoah and ungodly kings to bring about his will. However, it does not make them any more of God than the J.W. Bible if this were the case - it just means that God is greater than their charlatanism and/or apostasy. If we use the Biblical test for whether these men are of God - weighing their words against scripture - it is clear that many are not of God, and they should be ‘outed’ and then avoided with a bargepole and shunned by the whole church.

But the church does not want to shun them.

For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. (2 Timothy 3:4) The King James Verison says ‘after their own lusts’ which could not be more true in these days - lusts for money, power, control and sex.

The trouble is too that people are so comfortable, lulled into a complacency, that they do not think think they can be decieved and it does not help when pastors preach that God will not allow them to be decieved it they ask for His protection. This is NOT the Bible - the Bible says we must test and weigh everything, and if the early church can be decieved who knew the apostles personally, then how much more can we be decieved in these, the Last Days!

And as for the more godly shepherds that are out there who do not wish to fleece their flock Great! But many do not wake up to the times and do not warn their flock about these men. Perhaps they think it is wrong or ungodly to be critical. Perhaps they think it unnecessary as they know the truth so they assume their congregation will. Perhaps they do not think it an important enough issue. Perhaps they do not know, or do not see: either which way their view of avoidance is not biblical and they too will be called to account if their flock strays.

A little leaven will work its way through the whole loaf and because many pastors and teachers have NOT warned their flocks about the apostasy and false prophets, they not only allow the deception to grow and carry on growing, but the deception finds a back door into their church until soon enough not many, if any, can discern the real from the false any more.

so men like Osteen present a man-made gospel.

It is the presentation and not the content that drives them wild, which is why Kim Clement, the so-called ‘prophetic psalmist’ is so popular. He really ‘performs’. Not only does this modern day ‘prophet’ deny the traditional gospel message but he also talks complete and utter claptrap. I watched him for around 15 minutes on the God Channel a few weeks ago as I wanted to see what this guy was about (I will not watch the UK Christian TV channels for pleasure - there is too much rubbish on them to poison and the false spirit is awful on them. It is interesting the UK Christian channels were all around the shopping channels like QVC, the world knows these ministries for what they are, to merchandise, why don’t we?!). In the time I watched Kim Clement ‘perform’ at a woman of destiny type ministry conference, there was a lot of noise, a lot of whooping, a lot of working the crowd to a frenzy, but not one genuine word of God came from his lips. Most of what he said did not even make sense. There were lots of buzz words such as ‘anointing’ and ‘fire’ and ‘Holy Spirit’ jumbled up into contradictory sentances that made zero sense. Every time he said a buzz word though the crowd went wild and stretched out their hands and whooped so they were having fun at least and getting their money’s worth. Then he prophesied over a woman that her dead daughter would live on and speak through the words of the prophets such as Kim, and I watched almost gobsmacked as the congregation including Christian leaders jumped about for joy and agreed to this intended necromancy/spiritism. At that point, I had enough of Kim Clement, the prophetic psalmist, and switched off the TV, my spirit deeply grieved. It seems nobody has ‘ears to hear’ any more - a few years ago and almost everyone would have walked out of a Christian meeting after a statement like this - however the gnosticism of Toronto has duped everyone up into a receptive state to tolerate men such as Clement. Because he yells ‘fire’ and they swoon under a spirit they accept his claptrap as the word of the Lord, although most ears have gone deaf…deafened through the spiritual siphilis caught through spiritual adultery.

So anyway, happy congregations listen to performing puppets like this present a message that will not turn anyone off - this tickles the ears much better than a message about repentance or true discipleship (ouch!).

But the cross is offensive. The message is offensive and Christians need to wake up and get a lot more offensive. They also need to kick the rotting flesh out of their church, and pull down their idols, root out every single bit of leaven, so that God may be God and bless them and prosper them.

The church has a choice. Get right with God, pull down your idols and kick out your false prophets and be blessed - or allow yourself to be lulled into a deeper and deeper sleep, with more and more deception, lulled into a false sense of security. Rather than leading to comfort, this will lead to affliction as God’s fire will come in judgment with its affliction and then a great falling away will follow.
