Seeking a prophetic word from the Lord?
If you would like to ask for a word from the Lord, please just leave your name here on this thread, and if God gives me anything for you I will post it on here. Please note the following:
I do not expect payment, this is entirely free, neither do I want or expect a gift for my time. If you want to show your gratitude, please buy a homeless guy a burger, or a poor family some winter clothes or a toy to give their kids at Christmas and say it is ‘love from Jesus’.
I cannot guarantee what I will get for you, when I will get it, its length or content or scope, or even if I will get anything for you.
Any word I give you will be from the Lord and not from me. Please therefore treat HIM with respect and be honest. Don’t jerk him about or lie – remember also what it means to lie to the Holy Spirit (I say this for the minority, not the majority).
Do not ask for a word unless you want to hear the truth.
Do not ask me to enquire of the Lord for you if you are not prepared to obey what He says. If you hear the truth and do not listen to it or obey it you become even more accountable to God for your non action.
Please do not waste my time and ask me for a word that you already know the answer to.
Please do not ‘test’ God.
Please check back here from time to time for a response or subscribe to a feed to this site.

Some words are conditional in that they require you to respond appropiately to God. God often shows you a choice of which way to go, and it is up to you if you pick the right paths.
If you do not immediately understand something, please take it to God and/or discuss it/pray about it with others. If you are still unsure put it in your ‘pending’ tray as somethings are not always obvious or seeable immediately.
Please at the very least post a message to say you have read your word from the Lord. Feedback is appreciated but not essential. When specific words are fulfilled please come back and tell us this to encourage everybody.
A prophetic word for one person can often speak to far more than just that one person, just like the word of God in the Bible speaks to more than one original recipient. Why is this? Because the truth is the truth and God does not alter and change and wisdom is wisdom and God’s word does not return void but yields fruit. By God’s word He created the heavens and the earth. The word is powerful: Jesus Christ is the word of God in the flesh. God’s word is far more powerful that just ‘words’ of information. God in his wisdom also knows what to say and who will be reading it and when. That is why unless something is deeply private, I will post personal prophecies publically in order to bless, encourage, inspire, build up, teach, correct, rebuke, admonish, spur on and direct others too. If a prophecy has another person’s name on it, but nonetheless really impacts you, then please take it on board for yourself too and consider it God speaking to you also.
I am seeking a prophetic word from the Lord, that I am
prepared to open my heart to and do as I am directed.
I feel that I have been called along time ago and been
waiting for when…I am so tired. I can’t go on this way, I can’t make a way for myself. I am not a new believer,
but in the faith for 22 years when I first heard the
Holy Spirit wake me from sleep with, “HE LIVES”.
I recently heard from the Holy Spirit that I am not in my “vocation”. I have run out of avenues for job seeking, and seek to serve the Lord whereever I go. I am looking at the classified prior to finding this board. I have been working temp for a few years, hoping that a door would open? Is it my heart that won’t open?
I confess that I have been wayward and not always
available to the Holy Spirit or church. I often wonder/
wander where I belong and as I write this, I am lead to
Luke 12:31 “But seek the kingdom of God, and all these
things shall be added to you”.

Hi, I came here from the revival school site. I am not even sure if I will submit this. I am leary, yet I do beleive God can speak any way He chooses. I never saw a site like this. I struggle for most answers from the Lord, yet it seems you have words and insite beyond my imagination. Do I want a word if you have one? I say it again, I am cautious, but if you do, yes. I love the Lord with all I have, I have so many un answered questions. Thats all I will say. God knows my heart, my needs, my desires, and most of all how I long to hear His voice and do His will. Could i also ask for a collegue(He doesn’t know this) as well? Today i had this thought about a certain family member of his but i’m not sure if the thought given was from God. So i hoped that if you had the same vision, then i can be sure and i will approach him depending on the situation.

A word for JCS, who is in ministry in the USA (who has not asked on this thread yet but I felt moved to enquire for you last night, note all I say is for your upbuilding and encouragement as I know you are unhappy and really struggling and you need to realise some of the things that hold you back in order to be truly free and truly blessed and truly pleasing God) Bless you:
I saw a vision of a little girl (who I thought could be your daughter) sitting on her Daddy’s knee, looking into his eyes with her big baby blues and saying ‘Daddy, why do you…?’ and asking a really difficult question. I saw the Dad ’struggle’ as he tried to think how to answer her well, which I think you understand being a parent. It was not that the father was wanting to be dishonest or not open and did not want to tell her the answer, but he knew she could not comprehend the real/whole answer in her young mind, or perhaps it would be far too overwhelming for her to hear without knowing other things too far beyond her years to balance it out and deal with it healthily. So instead of the whole answer to her question, she would get a far simpler but ‘unsatisfactory’ answer from her Daddy and both she and Daddy would know it.
So in the same way as this little girl asking questions, I see YOU searching for answers, and feeling ‘unsatisfied’. You do not understand or comprehend, for if I (God) told you, you simply would not ‘get’ it. As a consequence there seems to be a lot of inner anger and frustration there in you, I see it almost like steam coming out of your ears, and there is a degree of turning your back on God and resentment too because of this.
I see a large banquet hall, laid out with many tables with white tablecloths, needing sparkling cutlery etc setout for a wedding banquet. You are called to serve and wait at the tables making them ready for the wedding guests yet I sense frustration at not really wanting to be a servant and there are so many tables to wait on, it is so tiring and yeah, there is even bitterness there (as you are tired and fed up and want to sit down at the table to be served.)
I see a symbolic butterfly tattoo on your hand, and it is like on your thumb and index finger on the outside, so it is like formed or seen when you make a clenched fist as it is on the side of your hand. But if you let go of the clenched fist and let your hand free/loose (that is let go of the anger/frustration/tightness) so the butterfly can be released and fly free. And this is what God wants to do in you. Set you free and lighten you. And I see a new ‘peace’ settling on your ministry, a new stability, a new freedom as a result.
I see you playing a game of cards, and playing the Ace card, so God will give you the Ace card to play each time in evangelism situations etc if you trust Him. That is he will give you exactly what you need to say to get the message delivered ‘perfectly’. You do not need to see or have this ace in your pocket before you leave, or wait upon it – you do not need prepared in this instance – does God not say do not worry what you will have to say before rulers and authorities and indeed anyone as the Holy Spirit will give you the words to say at the right time when you need them – that is not BEFORE it. You do not need forewords or foreknowledge as I see some have been leading you astray with a wrong distorted teaching on this so you end up wasting time waiting for specific foreknowledge before evangelising.
Watch the (Christian) company you keep as some (even in the church) will seek to trip you up – focus your eyes on Jesus and Watch Him instead of looking over your shoulder watching men.
‘Ask of me…and I will give you nations as an inheritance for you.’ You seek to bring souls in, yet there is some part of you or a misunderstanding that seeks the nations (the lost people) for YOU, for your own ‘kingdom’ to build that up, as trophies for you, and not truly for Jesus. It is Jesus’ inheritance, not yours. There is too much ’self’ there, and it is about YOU, for YOU and what YOU are about – whether you realise it or not, you are dwelling on the flesh. I know these words may be hard for you to hear, and it may be hard to see this at first, but I counsel you to seek God on this as this is most certainly true.
Prove all things and test what is true.
Stop being what you think you should be, be what I (God) have called you to be. You know not to make God in man’s image, yet you make man (yourself) in man’s image too (that is making yourself what you think you should be rather than what God truly says). Do not do this and it is unrealistic and also puts you under a lot of pressure. I see a great release in you if you let go of this ‘idol’.
I see you polishing your ‘ministry’ shoes (gospel shoes). They are scuffed and one shoe has a large horizontal ’scar’ across the middle. Searing, digs deep, so you are wounded. They are tired shoes that have walked many miles in the flesh. My suspicion is that God will not ‘heal’ the shoes (which he could) but he will replace them with a new pair of shoes of another colour (that is a new ministry that will be differant to the old). THEN I see you running – in fact boinging with springs on your feet jumping like a young gazelle, full of great joy. Whereas before it felt you were wading through treacle – which I then see as porridge (= ‘hard gruel’). You will then see a differance between true spirit filled evangelism and preaching. I see you make a name, but it is not your own, it is JESUS, JESUS, JESUS! as you ‘boing’ across state borders. I see God will take you into ‘penitentiaries’ and even ‘death row’ to bring light and freedom to the prisoners.
I (then) see power on your tongue, but it is love. It is not cutting and destructive.
You must guard your heart or you are at risk of falling away. I see this and I warn you most strongly. Keep close to Jesus or be led astray. I see others seek to lead you (including those you trust) along dark paths. The words ‘Seducing’ – ’seductive’ (spirits or theologies or ways) are around you heavily. Get into the word of God to help guard you from them, I see you particularly vulnerable to being led astray. They are powerful and seductive and you will probably not seem them as ‘dark’. I also see coins connected with this. PLEASE guard your heart. God will protect you IF you let Him do these things he is talking with you about today.
I see you up on a ladder needing to clean your upper windows of your ‘house’ (that is yourself), there is some bad doctrines and bad teaching and a mindset in there. It is dark in origin – not of the light – and this smoke/dirt obscures your windows a bit though your windows are not completely obscured (there is truth and light in there too, and I affirm this).
God wants to cleanse your windows (your thoughts/theologies/outlook). You seek so hard to know by your own understanding and yet there is resistance there to the Spirit’s leading and prompting – a lack of real trust, you never ‘relax’ in Him, you are so tense and keyed up, like a tightly coiled spring. May God release you.
God is leading you to a long table to eat – it is covered with good food just for you to eat – pineapple and other friut etc – and there is so much for you to eat. (Food = knowledge/word of God). Take, eat, learn of his word and if you will let him, God will take you into a real season of study and understanding the word.
Be prepared to let present mindsets (theologies etc) fall. I see hard mindsets, resistant and they are like strongholds in your mind, and you stubbornly will not let them go, your forehead is hard and resistant like someone about to headbutt somebody and some truth slaps against this and just cannot get past – you are very stubborn minded – and it will not let God’s word past with the real truth. That’s why it/you seems to go around in circles at times.
I see you take out a large bag of garbage to the trash can – many past thoughts and theologies (note I do not say ALL) – and if you do so, you will much lighter and happier.
Along unfamiliar ways God will guide you
Though they will be ancient paths
Listen to and trust the still small voice of the Spirit

Today, I got another vision of you and in it you had a studded collar on attached to a leash, and you were just as a bulldog going for a walk and straining at this leash, puffing and panting as you strained to go the way and direction that you wanted to go. The bulldog was pulling the leash with all his energy, straining and tugging ahead, panting and slobbering as he used all his strength to pull forwards. He got a neckache pulling his dog owner along with him (or trying to). The bulldog was telling the dog owner which way to go, not the way it should be – actually he was kind of ordering not just telling the dog owner where he was going! And so with you and the Lord, you attempt to tell Him (your owner/master who is the dog owner) where to take you or which paths to go, and of course it is ridiculous for a dog to tell his master such a thing. As you strain with your own efforts in the flesh to go the paths you demand of Him and it does you no good but hurt you and give you a ‘neckache’.
God does have paths for you to walk in Him but you are not the boss of Him and you need to repent of this attitude and let go. Let Him lead you and guide you and make the decisions for you and ‘your’ ministry. His paths are much better than you can even dream of right now. There is much blessing in store for you and much joy and freedom. But LET Him do it, not you – just meet him at the place of submission and repentance. Don’t be stiffnecked
I would like a word concerning me prophetess. I want to know if I wasted my time going to school and getting degrees (which I count as dung for Christ). Am I on the right path? Just want to know…
Also, I was riding in to work today in a cab…As we were heading down the Highway. I saw a cloud…in the trees…It was not fog as to fog does not just cover a small area. Well when we got close it disappeared. What came to me was the Pillar of Smoke in Exodus…Your thoughts.
Your Brother In Christ: I have given you lots of things to think on, consider and put into action in another thread. I do not mind helping you – not at all – but I really think you need to concentrate on one thing at a time. Otherwise you (possibly) end up being given lots of words, but not putting them into practise or truly hearing them.
Become a doer and not just hearer of the word.

When it comes down to positivity for myself I have none…I have it and prophesy blessings (as God leads) for others but see nothing good for myself…I am always between jobs that it is like (OH WELL!) But everyone is like: “God is going to bless you…” I am like…(Maybe I am cursed)…

Your Brother In Christ: even if the most evil witch, warlock or satanist cursed you or your family in the past, Christ has borne this curse on the cross as it is written ‘Cursed is the one who hangs on a tree’ and Christ became a curse for us on the tree (cross). His blood redeems from every curse, including the curse of the law. All we need to do is accept this by faith and apply it.
If you will but accept it, you have every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus. Get that, you have every blessing IN HIM not every curse. If Christ considers you valuable enough to die for, then you are not a waste of space and if you continue to say or think this then you deny the power of His sacrifice and the power of His Love. You in effect call God a liar.
You can choose to make your valuable life fruitful and productive – or not.
I know we have said before that you need to get healed of your hurts, so we could talk all day and night about what you are and what you are not, and what is good and bad thinking, but unless you stop running away from dealing with your issues and take the step and open that door to your wounded heart and say ‘Jesus come in and heal me’ it’s not going to have as much effect. I do not mean to sound harsh, far from it, I am encouraging you just as I may have to encourage my boys and push them kicking and screaming to the doctor’s surgery when they are ill. I am well aware of how reluctant people can be in dealing with their hurts as it hurts to even think about their wounds let alone look at them. However I promise you that the fear of this is worse than the actual process. You have nothing to fear by giving them to Jesus Christ if you know Him. He will not let you be overwhelmed, he is gentle and tender. He is the best physician I have ever met.

However I heard the lyrics as ‘O father of the fatherless….who comforts those in distress’. I believe God wants you to grasp his Father heart for you, and apply this deeply to your life, I saw you walking around as if you were not quite complete or whole, and God wants to reach out to you and comfort that part of you/that need that is in distress and needs ‘fathered’.
I truly believe that God is wanting to wrap his hands around you at this time and comfort you. And just like a child feels snug and warm when they are wrapped around with a warm towel after having a bath, so I believe he wants to make you feel snug and secure in your innermost being. Because you have not truly felt secure, you have felt very insecure and fearful about the future, and I also see darkness/pain/fear connected with someone leaving you or the fear of it, not quite sure which one it is. I also sense that God truly wants to give you a greater sense of belonging, as in many senses you feel out of place or even a misfit (you are not but I cannot help get the feeling you feel that a bit). However God will give you a greater security and sense of belonging and peace if you let Him.

Cindy: I see you getting some baking cakes fresh out of the oven, and they are then set out on a tray for you to carry as a servant to serve with. These cakes symbolises what you serve with. These cakes have a gorgeous aroma that wafts up to heaven. I feel that in the same way that how you serve God causes this gorgeous aroma. It reminds me of the aroma of worship, ‘let our worship to you be to you as incense…’ and I sense that your life is full of worship and that you are a worshipper of God in spirit and in truth. He acknowledges this, affirms this and says it is most pleasing to Him.
May God bless you, as I see him expanding your heart still further as you raise your hands to Him in worship, full of love for him yes, but becoming full of love for the lost and hurting and neglected and bruised. I see this become a ‘burden’ in you, it enlarges your heart and almost breaks it as it (almost) overwhelms you as it becomes full of other people, but you can carry it if you stay in the Spirit it is a ‘light’ burden in that sense albeit it will preoccupy you more, and with this burden there is an intercession that bubbles up and flows out of you, but it is a new intercession, far more natural but far more supernatural too, that is impacted with love and burden for the lost such as you have never known before. I see you seeing them with the eyes of Jesus, and crying sometimes, but this crying, this compassion then leads you to be able to see God’s heart and pray for the people’s need and has faith to see it met, as you know the will of your father in heaven and can thus stretch out your hand and heart in prayer and say not only ‘God is willing’ but God knows and hears and has heard even before you or they raise your lips in prayer to him. You will see this as you know it.
A heart of a worshipper is a heart close to the Father. You will know the Father’s heart and may you reach out to others through this intercession, prayer and submissive lifestyle under God. Praise Him, it is a beautiful thing indeed.

I think what God wants you to see at this time is WHO you are called to be/who you are now rather than WHAT you are called to do. God wants you to rejoice in it, and the freedom of it, as I really do not feel you have grasped the sheer joy of being a child of God and revelling and rejoicing in just this for this.
I saw a vision of you as a child running with two other children in cornfields. It is sunny and you do not have a care in the world, you are running free as children do and laughing and holding your arms out against the corn and brushing past it, rejoicing in this simple thing. (Normal) children do not get bogged down with the cares of this world, and God wants you to be like this child, happy and laughing in his Kingdom, rejoicing in Him for HIM and nothing else. As you start seeing this and making it your absolute priority and concern everything else falls into place behind it in a healthy perspective.
Luke 12:31 “But seek the kingdom of God, and all these
things shall be added to you”.
In order to be a healthy and productive and happy and content adult in the secular working world, we need to have some sort of carefree childhood, and it feels like God wants to give you this childhood in his kingdom for a season, this time in HIM to know HIM for just that, before he releases you properly to be a servant into his working world in his kingdom.
I think your eyes are far too focussed on the things of this world, worrying about this or that, when really in the grand scheme these things are not such a big deal. I am not negating your worries, it is just encouraging you to put them into perspective. When you can refocus your eyes with heaven’s perspective then we really see it is all about Him and loving Him. Seek first Jesus for his sweet self and nothing else, he will reveal to you the Kingdom in his time and THEN you can become a worker in it. But it comes that way around. (I am not advocating not doing Christian stuff, it’s just you need to get the right perspective for it and I don’t think you had quite.) I hope this makes sense.

I do not want to keep seeking for words from the Lord. I feel the things you have given me on here are enough for me to think and act on. But I was considering asking you this *hopefully through email* the other day but haven’t had the courage to ask.
It is really quite private and I am unsure about what to do. It involves my marriage and my children. I have sought the Lord and then I have not sought the Lord(because I haven’t received an answer so have tried because it is such a hard thing and am unsure as to what is going on.
sorry that last comment wasn’t finished my baby came along and pushed send. What I was trying to say above was I most of the time try to figure out what to do about this situation by what I have read in the Bible. And with what I know to do. But the bible doesn’t specifically discuss this nor do I know if this situation even applies to us or if it’s just my imagination.
Bob Miller (post 2): I see a sword in your hand, and the handle of it is ornate and beautiful made with what looks like ebony and with gold guilding on top, it is a gorgeous looking object as well as a weapon. You are awe-struck by it and your hand is holding the sword handle, and it is quite tentatively/nervously that your fingers grip and then ungrip the handle, and play with the handle as you lovingly feel the carving/decoration/guilding and look at its beauty smoothing it reverently with your hand, but something, whatever it is, makes you uncertain about properly gripping this sword and weilding it high. There is something that stops you lifting the sword high and really wieding it as a warrior. You are called to be a warrior yet it feels like you have not yet got this gorgeous sword past out of the ‘museum’ or showcase.
I feel that God has given you the sword (the word of God), but for some reason though you love it and honour it, you do not wield it as much as you should in your life. It does not go out there ‘on the streets’, does not reach from the intellectual or spiritual realm into the physical and into the ‘real’ for you.
I feel that you feel a relative spiritual dryness and that you have been through the valley of baca (weeping) too with this, I sense desolation – I don’t know exactly what it is, but it just feels like you cannot get the differant compartments of your life to all fit together and all conjoin and flow, things from your head to your heart, from your spirit to the world, and you struggle with doubts and several ‘dark nights of the soul’. You still have faith in God, you love God, but just your life is not flowing like you long for and you struggle some.
God knows your longing. He has seen your tears. He has been watching you for years, Bob, run that race, trip and fall, get up bruised/with a scraped knee and keep on running in a dry and thirsty place. Perserverence you have, but you are tired and thirsty. And you know what I think you have lost – I think it is vision. ‘Without vision my people perish’. That is personal vison for yourself. To help you keep running the race, to lift your spirits, to be inspired as there is sluggishness and depression.
Because I also sense a feeling of dejectedness and depression within you, that I urge you to cast off, cast off this blanket of despair which burdens you. It hinders you, it lingers with your doubts, it taunts in those dark nights, and is always not too far away from you to bind you. It whispers that you cannot be a real (spiritual) success, that the things you long for cannot become a reality, you are crazy to think they can be, or crazy to think you are to call things that are not as if they are, and it encoils itself like a vine or snake around your arm and stops you wielding that sword I saw through those ‘little’ fears and doubts. Cast it off ruthlessly that you may raise this sword and wield it – and be the warrior you are called to be.
Bob, I pray that God will release you from these negative things. I urge you to bring them before God and repent of thinking them and submitting to them – fear shall no longer be your master! – and ask him to cleanse you from them totally and set you free. Ask him for fresh vision for who and what you are, ask for his help to obey it and walk in it, to become a doer of the word as well as a lover and hearer of it, and ask him to fill you with boldness and strength to lift the sword and have faith to wield it and see fruit from it in the physical/ ‘real’ realm. May God be with you Bob as you seek to obey Him. Bless you.
Sandy: nobody knows who you are on here, you are in a loving place, nobody is going to laugh or mock or use it against you and many others may be able to help you as well as/apart from I, so are you able to ask the question/s openly? If not that’s ok, I do understand.
I really do not feel it is something to ask openly. That is ok though. I understand not taking emails. I like my privacy as well. I guess if the Lord tells you anything then He does and He knows what is on my heart.

I can’t say that I understand everything that you wrote. But it all rings true to me in the spirit. This has been a very confusing time for my family and I am so I am grateful whenever he sheds some light for me. I generally won’t move unless I see him in it and so many times I get held in a holding pattern.
I will prayerfully keep reading this word and ask God to show me what these areas are.

I am blessed by the way you respond to those whom would seem to diagree with you. (sometimes harshly disagree with you even) Your responses have been straight forward yet non-combative. It takes a special person to be able to do that. That being said, I would very much like to receive a word from you if our Lord would so choose to give you one. I wish it could be more private, but it seems this is the media you have chosen, so I will respect that and trust that whatever the Lord gives you (if anything) will be of the utmost integrity as I am a man of integrity and am in need of direction at this PRECISE time. Okay…My journey has begun…I hope you read this because I am now putting the words into action! Or being a doer of the WORD!
Last Night I started my journey of healing and God began to talk to me…He actually guided me through the Word…One of the many things that he guided me on was the Harmony that Paul and the other apostles have even though they had disagreements… God guided me through his word…He had to show me the harmoney inorder for me to receive the words of the Apostle Paul (at some point I let other websites declare unto me that Paul’s letters were not of Christ)…Now I have begun my spiritual journey…Now I can accept the God of the OLD and NEW Testaments…

Your Brother In Christ: I am pleased for you, God will bless you and honor you. Let Him deep inside and touch those ‘raw’ emotions. It will not just be a ‘head’ journey of just theology for you, you must let your heart and soul be ‘physically’ touched by the spirit and by healing because you have not before.
BTW late last night I saw two things for you. I saw you unlocking a padlock on somebody’s wrist which was attached to chains with cannon balls on them (in the future)- setting somebody free from their bondages – but your eyes were very empty and sad, staring ahead – in pain as you did so. If you do not allow yourself to be healed and set free NOW in this season, this is how it may be for you – and God is saying you were really needing to unlock yourself before you go and unlock others anyway.
I then saw a bucket of Polyfilla (which you use to fill and repair the holes and cracks in walls before you paint or plaster over them), and the large double tick on a bucket of polyfilla, and God was saying he wanted to get in and repair your cracks and holes with his ‘divine polyfilla’ – that is his healing touch, and this double tick on the bucket meant now was the time and it was absolutely certainly of Him and to trust Him and let him in to minister.
could you please tell god that he’s a jerk and he’s not going to win this crazy act of tyranny?

If you do not allow yourself to be healed and set free NOW in this season, this is how it may be for you – and God is saying you were really needing to unlock yourself before you go and unlock others anyway.
Should I not help? I mean is this a process of longivity or if I grasp it it will not be a problem? I ask because it is easier said then done?
Is God upset about this? I mean for me to not get it this season…What does that mean? I am lost?
I would ask the Lord to open up to the individual reading and provide confirmation and affirmation in my direction for my life. I can’t ask for too much, but whatever God lays on their heart to reveal to me.
Paul (post 3 and 32): I will most certainly not tell God what you have requested because it is not true about him, even 1% of it, and whether you like it or not he is still boss and always will be. If you are suffering in life, then this attitude of blaming God for your ills is not going to lift you out of being stuck in a hole as God is the one that offers his hand to you. If you are going to yell ‘yah booh sucks’ at him like everyone else and push his helping hand away petulantly like a child, then who is to blame if you are still in your hole of despair? If you are upset that I have not said anything to you yet, it’s been only about 24 hours since I got your request. However Jesus is attentive to you 24/7 and can be in multiple places and deal with more than one person at a single time – unlike me who also has a job and family and lives under normal time constraints. I cannot be as God to you, not should I be. I can try to help you but you must understand this as well as understand I will not assist your blaspheming of God – if you have anything to say, say it to him, talk to him about it, do you not think he understands exactly what’s going on with you? Go to Jesus if you are hurting, as he is the one that speaks any words to me anyway and is there for you immediately and will never turn you away if you are genuine.
Your Brother In Christ: all I said was to let God do it now so you will not have problems continuing into the future hurting you and holding you back! I never said God was angry with you. Why did you think I said this? I have no idea how long your healing will take, but a lot of that will up to your responsiveness and openess to Him in this season. I do not ask you to ‘get it’ this season, I ask you to ‘open up’ – a differant thing.

For Caesar (post 26): Late last night, I was told by the Lord that a male who I thought looked to be of hispanic origin would approach this site, I saw a vision of ‘Caesar’ from the dog whisperer show tied in with this, perhaps he meant you, ‘Caesar’?
In it, the Lord showed me a group of men sitting at a table involved in/plotting illegal stuff. They thought they could get away with it, there was arrogance and no fear of either the law or God in them, but God warned me that you would end up in jail if continued to be involved with them and you went along this path. There were no ifs and buts with this. Therefore run away from this activity and these people or you know the inevitable consequences for you. The Lord warns you for he loves you and obviously wants the best for you.
I’m not upset because of that, “god” has supposedly already told me stuff in the past…stuff that hasn’t come true.

Paul: God is not a fortune teller in the sense that usually he does not say ‘this will definitely happen’ or ‘this won’t happen in your life’.
The reason is because God gives us free will and choices. He will therefore say ‘this will happen IF you go along x path’ or ‘if you don’t do y you will suffer from the consequences which will be z.’
Such a question as ‘will I ever get to move out of my parent’s house?’ is something that YOU have freewill and choice about or will have if you take the right steps step by step.
Do you know Jesus as you certainly are very angry blaming him for things he is not responsible for? Have you asked him to guide you step by step and open up the pathway for you to have life? Jesus has promised you life to the full. If you do not feel a fullness of life then you do have the fullness of Jesus within and this is what you need more than a job, car, house etc. Once your relationship with God is healed, your attitude alters and once how you feel about yourself alters, then other things will fall into place.

I heard a song and realised God was speaking about you and the song was starting ‘Where can I go from your spirit..’ anywhere we go God is there, and then the song went on that God is a tower of Strength against the enemy and repeated this twice. This speaks of Psalm 139 and another Psalm.

‘O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.
Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O Lord. You hem me in – behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.
Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.

I was struck by the greatness of God and also the wings of dawn element, and I then saw a vision of a little mouse standing on a grassy hill looking up to the dawn sky and considering God being there at the ‘wings of dawn’, looking at the large expanse of sky, and the amazingness of just that, its majestic beauty and the incredible intelligence and awesomeness of the creator who did not just make this but all other life and holds it all together by his awesome power. (This reminds me also of the last few passages of the book of Job where God speaks to Job about his making things and his incredible power and intelligence that no man could understand).
Anyway, in the same way I feel that God was wanting to enlarge your vision of Him, and see a bit more of how majestic and powerful and glorious He is and to ‘wonder’ more at that.
As a little mouse praying with an earthly focus, it is hard sometimes to have faith for prayers to be met as our earthly minds see things as ‘difficult’ or ‘hard’ or ‘impossible’ or ‘that will take a long time’, yet when you switch to the one who is there on the wings of the dawn and at the far edge of the sea, does he not laugh at any ‘impossibilities’ as nothing is too difficult for Him? For the mouse yes, tis hard, but for God easy peasy.
Mary, I do not say you do not have faith – far from it – but let God enlarge your vision and thus your faith, and thus enlarge your prayers and their potency.
‘The tower of strength against the enemy’ surely surrounds you and protects you, though I see people attack you and come clamouring and bashing against the walls of the tower but you are totally safe from all harm. Do not fear their arrows, they are powerless and impotent and faith laughs at them.
Mary, you know where God says he will change your name? the name being symbolic of who/what you are in God? – your new name means the same as ‘Isaac’ which means ‘he laughs’ except a female version of this. Laughing at ‘impossibities’ because you, like this little mouse, have caught a vision of just a tiny bit of our glorious God (for who can see but a fraction of his glory in this life?) Laugh as you pray, laugh! And laugh as you see reaping from your prayer with God, rejoice for you will see the barns full!

Prophetess, I must apologize if the post sounds nasty or mean. That is my insecurity that makes me to believe God is angry…I never meant to say or state you were angry I thought God was because I am always thinking that. I had a friend that kept telling me that God say’s: “I love you and well Done Good and Faithful Servant.” It was and is hard for me to grasp it seeing I am the cheif of sinners…
Do you see people when you prophesy? Is it sometimes overwhelming…You and my mentor seem to be able to tap in the realm at will…It does not work for me like that…It starts as a feeling for me…then I speak then people confirm.

Everyone is differant, with differant callings, gifts and TYPES of workings of the same gifts. Differant does not mean wrong necessarily. As long as you test your gift, the source of the gift and the fruit of the gift and keep on testing, differant is fine with me.

But I SO MANY people NOT DOING that YET…they have LIVES. They have friends, money, they don’t live with their parents anymore.
I have already tried on my own.
I am NOT convinced I can do this.
I CANNOT open my mind to learn new things, I can’t break free.
I have no friends, It’s so depressing.
I have no girlfriend.
I want to get all these things and rub it in all these people’s faces.
I have failed everything i’ve ever done on my own YET…god still doesn’t speak.
I have NO ENERGY, A MENTAL BLOCK, Or Spiritual block.
I have NO SKILLS and IT’s IMPOSSIBLE for me to learn anything.

I started out with what I thought was big faith but tragedy after tragedy in my family took the wind out of my sails. The Lord did not spare me. I thought I had gone to the place where he could not find me because I felt so abandoned. Interesting that Psalm would be used.
Yes I have become rather fatalistic in thinking God is not interested in doing miracles in my family or with my life.
And He left me with a limp in my spirit much like Juanita’s
if she ever comes around. I will meditate on this.

Paul: this isn’t about other people though, it’s about you. Maybe other people on the surface appear to have things more together than you. Perhaps inside they are just as insecure and miserable. Perhaps, perhaps… Regardless, I’m not interested in them for now, this is about YOU.
The things you talk about (job, car, house) are not the things that make us truly happy and content. Plenty of people have these things and are still eaten up with misery. These things in themselves do not make us content. How we feel about God, ourselves and others makes us content. Without that we are nothing even if we have everything. Get your attitudes right and you will get your life right.
You are eaten up with bitterness, resentment and jealousy which does nobody any good, it just hurts you and gets you seething with inner rage which you turn on yourself and manifests itself within you in depression and self loathing. Why is it anybody elses fault you are in the hole you are? Why should they have their faces rubbed in anything? Why make others suffer because you suffer?
In order for YOU to be free you need to focus on Jesus and let him set you free. In your current state of mind, it does not sound like you cannot deal with things well on your own in your own strength as you have got yourself into a downward spiral of despair and self loathing – however you and I both know there is an element of a pity part going on with you too and you KNOW a lot of these things you say are not true about you – you are ‘just’ feeling sorry for yourself.
Well fair enough, you are hurting, I understand that, truly I do, I am not negating how bad you feel, and when I used to hurt I did exactly what you do and cried ‘nobody loves me, everybody hates me, I’m going into the garden to eat worms’ and hide myself away from the world, but this does you no good at all except beat yourself up even more and make you suffer more. Some people even masochistically ‘revel’ in their pain, they become so used to it, and so used to sulking etc, that pain and gloom is their only real ‘friend’ so they pick at their wounds time and time again to feel that pain surge again. Perhaps things aren’t so great for you, but you do not help yourself and are your own worst enemy to this regard in terms of assisting to destroy yourself. So I say to you, who has the power to get you out of this situation and make you happy? YOU have, allowing Jesus to bring you out of your slough of despondancy. But you have got to be prepared to stop hiding in your cave and listen when he says stop picking at your scabs. What I say to you may sound quite harsh, but I am not going to mollycoddle you and assist you in keeping up beating yourself up, anyone who truly cares will say ’stop this!’ I have compassion for you and want to see you released, but in order to be released you need to have the truth spoken to you. I have to use firmer words with my boys when they are putting themselves in danger and I love them. Sometimes we have to shout ’stop this!’
The best advice I can give you is what I have learned and this is: stop focussing on your hurts and give them to Jesus straight away and focus on Him. You can immediately be released from them and do not have to dwell in the darkness of depression if you choose to live in his light. He came to give you life, to be free from being accused and accusing yourself. Let Him in, let him set you free. Let Him teach you about letting go of negative thinking to think good things about you and others including God. It’s high time. But it’s your choice, nobody elses. And if you stay where you are at groaning on your bed that has been made for yourself and have not taken this step, I say only only one person is to blame for you continuing being in your state of mind/life – and that is YOU.
Sandy: it has become even more obvious to me over the past day I should keep everything I say out in the public arena wherever humanly possible. Then it can be shown exactly what I do and don’t say to people and when/how I say it as their are vicious liars out there who will claim black is white in order to further their own ungodly ends. Therefore, much as I understand your desire for privacy, I will not personally email you or anybody else with a personal prophecy. I understand that and thank you. I will ask a quick question. I was thinking of writing books. I wanted to be a nurse and then a natural physician but my body is not going to allow that. I have wondered if God has maybe wanted me to go in a different direction. I wrote a children’s book and have started others but am unsure if this is what I am suppose to do for a vocation because it is very hard to get into that type of work when you do not have an agent. So if God speaks to you about some type of job that I can do while I’m sick that would be most helpful.

I have read some of what you have wrote. I am sorry you feel so bad and things are going so bad in your life. Is it possible that you may be suffering from clinical depression? It makes everything else that goes wrong in life seem so much more hard to handle. I am not for a minute suggesting your crazy. Clinical depression is real and can be caused by things going amiss in our bodies. Have you spoken with a doctor about this? I have problems with my blood sugar going too low and when it does I get this feeling of a dark cloud over my head. It doesn’t go away until I eat protein and a complex carb with a fat. Then the depression and sometimes hopelessness goes away. I have heard many others discussing the same things when it comes to dealing with hypoglycemia. That being said, it may be that you are missing something in your diet or even have hormonal problems that you are unaware of? Or maybe you have nothing wrong and just need someone to listen and care and help you get going in the direction that you need to go.
I hope that you can check into this.
Off the top of my head I would suggest taking a high quality multi vitamin. I like Carlson’s 2 daily gel capsules. They absorb much better then a tablet and therefore you see more progress with it. I would also suggest camu berries for depression, a good b-complex (must take a complex together or you will become deficient in other b-vitamins by taking them apart from one another), and the best is fish oil. I take a Carlson’s fish oil capsule because they test their’s to make sure it is free of mercury.
I noticed when I am deficient in omega 3 fatty acids I get depressed, amongst other things. Fish oil as well as taking a high lignan flax seed oil, like Barleans cold pressed oil (it’s the best one in my opinion and make sure it’s refrigerated) has been known to cure depression. That being said you should always check with a doctor first to make sure that it’s not something more serious.
Some people when taking the cold pressed, refrigerated, high lignan, flax seed oil and fish oil supplements have seen results within a couple days. Some it takes a few weeks and others a couple months. Everyone is different. There is a book in my bedroom that teaches how to take this and what dosages to use. If you are interested just let me know and I will hunt it down for you.
The above combination has been known to correct a multitude of ailments in the body as well as mental illnesses and of course depression. So most people would do well taking it.

The Lord showed me what my true calling is but yet it seems that he is not really working with me right now. Can you help me with what the problem is or if there’s not a problem. Perhaps the time is not now. However, there are many things that I do not understand at this time. Your insight will certainly be appreciated.

Don’t know where to start but i know that God loves me,and want to use me, please give me a word from God. i do not have anybody to consult about my dreams and visions , only i know is that these are all spiritual and not my own conscience, because i opened the Bible and read about the things i saw, like i saw a cherubim three faced one face of a man , second side -a face of a Lion and third was an eagle. All three things are mentioned in God’s word but how i am connected to these things, what does it mean? Can you help me to get closer to listening to God and knowing the meaning?
I’ve hesitated to post this for the past few days but decided to take the plunge. I’m using another name, which I hope you don’t mind. I’m grateful for whatever the Lord may choose to speak through you or reveal through you.
I am facing turmoil in some personal relationships, one especially that has me concerned and left me frustrated, confused and frankly very unhappy at times.
Also, I know I have a prophetic call on my life, and many wonderful things have been said, but I also know for the anointing to come forth, I will have to be tried, and go through more painful experiences.
Also, I’ve been told that I will “see” things. There was a time when that opened up to me while fully conscious but it was very short. The only times when I “see” things is when I’m falling asleep, or in that state between being awake and asleep. I see things played out before my eyes, hear conversations, but cannot make sense of them. I know they occur for a reason, and that it’s not my imagination (took me a while to realize that as well).
I know God has a wonderful future for me, but wonder what will it really take to get there? I want His purpose for my life, in my marriage, His KINGDOM purpose to come forth, but I feel like I’m floundering. My next birthday is one of those major milestones (a multiple of 5) and I’m kind of dreading it because to be frank, I don’t feel like I have accomplished much, both for the Kingdom of God, and in my own personal life.

I need to know if you hear anything from God in your prayer time for me or if the Lord lays it upon your heart. I do not want to treat this as a fortune teller type thing. I know the Lord will speak when and if he decides to and not when we decide he will.
I need to know if I should flee my marriage and if my husband is plotting harm to me or my children in any way. I have my reasons for asking but not definite evidence. God searches our hearts. So I ask you God to please let me know if we are safe.

I am not a doubting Thomas having to see to believe, but I would really like to just hear from Him, feel Him, know that He is there. Just one time, have Him talk to me. Just me. I know He loves me and wants to bless me and others through me, so whatever is wrong is on MY end not His. I know I need to seek Him first and that He is a rewarder of those that diligantly seek Him…. so am I wrong for asking to hear from Him? Something from Him to me personally that I know without a shadow of a doubt that He is speaking to me??? I don’t want to do wrong, but it would be soooooo nice.

I am requesting a word as I am entering a new phase in my walk with the Lord- I feel the Lord has brought me to anew place of ministry. I am a prophetic person- but wonder if I am supposed to launch out into what the Lord has prepared for me right now, or am I still being polished and pruned.I feel I am called to be a prophet.
I also feel the Lord is launching me out into new ministry but I don’t feel quite “ready”. I am being tested very hard- I know it’s for preparation but I am wondering if I am being premature or should I just obey Him in what’s immediately before me?

What’s the matter Miriam? Its seems that Paul has given you a terrible headache through his Blasphemies above. By the way, can u please tell us whether you are a male or a female. Your name(Miriam Franklin)sounds like a male, but we can’t be sure. By the way, I am still waiting for a prophetic message from the Lord.
People (and especially those who claim to be disciples of the Lord) should not seek “signs” from the Lord. If I were a wagering person, I would wager that 90% of the persons seeking a word from “the prophetess” are looking for a “sign”. Most of you already know what you should or should not do. You just want that extra unction to take you to the next step. Some of you just want the Lord to solve all of your problems with no work on your part.
There is a small segment of the Christian population that needs a personal word from the Lord.
Please remember that a person who functions as a prophet in the Body of Christ has other obligations as well, and they are not your personal “fortune teller”.

I know I need to seek Him first and that He is a rewarder of those that diligantly seek Him…. so am I wrong for asking to hear from Him? Something from Him to me personally that I know without a shadow of a doubt that He is speaking to me??? I don’t want to do wrong, but it would be soooooo nice.

Cheryl (post 73): I do not think that 90% here (so far) are looking just for a sign for sign’s sake or want God to fix all their problems with no effort on their part – far from it. Many seem to be be open to hearing whatever the Lord will say and want to fulfil God’s purposes in their lives. If there are a minority (or even a majority) that treat the Lord as a fortune teller and ask for specific direction that really they should get for themselves in their own relationship with him, well that has always been the case, even in Israel. Did God meet and speak with them nonetheless through the prophets? Yes, he did, although they may not have always got the answer they wanted or expected.

On what basis do you build this theory? It is not biblical. It is not just ’special’ holy people that should get words. In my experience God almost always has something to say to his people (and even the lost, however ‘unspiritual’), he is a God that speaks, He is the living word, we should eagerly desire prophecy to build up, encourage one another while it is still day etc etc. The very rare times I get nothing, the person has been in deceit, and is lying to me, doing a Jonah or is testing God or angering God by asking God and they know this, will not listen to the truth, or God stays silent in order for people to seek him for him – they may be going through something as per Job but this is rare as God almost always says something to his people. I have often got far more detailed prophecies for pagans than for Christians, and it is used as an effective evangelism tool (pp the woman at the well) and as a sign to get right to the heart. Using a few words can demonstrate God’s omnipotence and power in seconds than months of searching and theology lessons do not always achieve. Remember true signs and wonders are given for the furthering of the kingdom – they should not be despised. It can be a powerful decision maker. However if that is all we seek or what we need to have faith, then something is wrong.

A.N.D: Paul has not given me a headache and he is welcome on this site. I will not assist him in blaspheming, but God is big enough to handle anything Paul says and understands his heart. I would much rather welcome a blasphemer and curser who does it ignorantly (as such was the apostle Paul before he was converted), than a self righteous religious person whose heart is cold and closed to God. I know this is God’s heart too. May Paul become an apostle ‘Paul’ to this regard.
For the record, it is not three days since I had any visions, this is not the only thread on this site nor do I always post things right away – but as I mentioned before I am only human and I only have a limited number of hours in each day to work on this. Even if I did not have a job and a family outside of this and worked here 24/7 I still would not have time to meet everybody’s needs. Please be patient bearing this in mind. Remedy what you KNOW to be wrong now. What are you waiting for? So if you know you are self righteous etc then repent of this attitude and confess your sin to God, and if you know Jesus as your saviour, he is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you.
At this stage I do not know if you have been running from a genuine call or a fantasy. However I would say that if you think that you could have been running away, you are still in sin even if it were not a genuine call, because your attitude and heart before God is not right. Not in sin for not fulfilling a bogus call, but in sin for running away from God and not submitting to your Lord in your heart/mind/body wherever he takes you. God is more concerned about you running from Him than he is in the call itself (even if genuine).

Let me suggest you come before God, kneel before him in attitude and rededicate yourself to Him. Ask him to forgive you of your bad attitude and sin, lay everything down, heart, mind, body and soul, and say you are willing to go wherever he will take you (if you are). If you are not, then do not say it (God knows truth, why kid him?) and do not come back to me as I cannot help you further. It may take you a while, possibly months, maybe years for you to come to a place of absolute surrender and therefore absolute peace. It took me a few months of real heart rendering before I submitted to my call many years ago as I really did not want it. Have an open mind and an open heart to whether you were right or wrong and just say whatever the path is you will follow it and mean it when you say this – this is true repentance. Ask God for his strength to obey whatever it is. Then come back here as you will then be right with God. You will be fully forgiven and right with Him and God will not hold this running away from Him against you any longer, neither will he meet with you in wrath. If you go through the cross, the wrath is poured out there on the crossbeams and in the blood.

When I said that a small segment of the Christian population needs a personal word from the Lord I meant (I am sorry for not making this clear, God knows my heart) that MOST real Christians have heard from the Lord themselves, and still don’t believe, they must have an outside influence such as a person whom they believe to be in “tune” with God before they believe. Can you show me one instance in the bible where a person who was walking completely in God’s will, was SEEKING a prophecy? Most of them were NOT. Prophecies were delivered to those who were seeking His will (unexpectedly in most cases), but how many prophecies were delivered to those who were in His perfect will, and yet, could not decide what to do and sought out a prophet? I am not comfortable with what you are doing here. You are soothsaying. You are not charging money, but it is still soothsaying. Don’t do this sister. Close down this posting. Seek the Lord. I realize that many seekers are ignorant of what His perfect will may be, or they claim to be, but how many say to you “Ah yes..that is just what the Lord told me.” A lot. And some are never satisfied with what you tell them. They want “more” like the horseleach’s daughter in Proverbs 30.
I understand your love and sympathy for these people. I feel their desperation myself. But you are doing many if not all of them a grave disservice. You have received a gift from the Lord God Almighty. Don’t do this with His gift. Don’t become one of a bazillion “crackpots”. I’m trying to be kind here. Seek His words for yourself, He loves you. I hope you hear what is being said.
And for those who don’t know what His will is, I say…pray, and read your bible ALWAYS! Pray for yourselves. He will make all things clear to you.
Well I for one do not want to be one to treat the lord as a fortune teller. I was wondering some what if that is what I and others were doing. So if that is the case then I want no part of it.

But you have a distorted view of people and personal prophecy if you think this is what it is properly about. Perhaps you have seen so called prophets and ministers and ministerees with bad attitudes (there are many of them) but this does not mean we are all like this and prophecy is to be despised.
No this is just not true of people overall in my experience. (It can be true in some whole sectors or denominations, perhaps you are swayed by this). Yes some will, you get people with all sorts of motives and mixed motives etc and it is wrong for people to idolise anybody and seek a human to tell them what to do before they believe. True Christians walking close to God who have heard God for themselves often seek to have an important matter established by two or three witnesses – this is not unscriptural.
There are all sorts of bad attitudes there for everything and anything in the church, it does not mean though we should not use a gift or ministry just cos someone has a bad or distorted view of it.
Do you pray with people for them about things? I would venture you will say ‘Of course.’ Yet many have a wrongful attitude about the ‘minister’ praying for them, they idolise them sometimes, become co-dependant if they are let etc etc. Does it mean we should give up praying for people? No!
Do we pastor and counsel and encourage and teach people? Yes of course! But if your argument holds if we are close to the Lord we should not need it and sin by pastoring or teaching or counselling or praying!
If your arguement is true, why then have the gift or ministry of prophecy if it is not truly needed and we just need to be close to God?
The Apostle Paul it is recorded was spoken to several times by the prophet Agabus.
I don’t think the Bible records anybody apart from Jesus who walked completely in God’s will, so it would be hard to say anybody who did anything in the Bible under that plumbline.
However, there are numerous cases of kings who enquired of the Lord, and actively sought him out by going to enquire of the prophets. Likewise Naaman sent a servant to the prophet to ask what he should do. People came to Jesus recognising he was a prophet and awaited his word etc etc. There are loads of cases, and not one instance I can recall where it was rebuked by God. Not one. People were rebuked for not listening to the prophets or not following the advice or not believing it or being stiff-necked, or going to a false prophet but that is another thing.
I know numerous prophecies are given to affirm and encourage people and bless them and not give them any other knowledge apart from God is pleased with them and knows about them. It is not always forthtelling of the future or directive. Prophecies were given to the NT church and seen as important, it was also valued highly as a sign to unbelievers.
‘Good’ people and ‘bad’ people alike can be prophesied to.
If you mean a soothsayer in the wrong forbidden sense of magical or divinatory then the Lord rebuke you Cheryl, I am most certainly not such a one.
One dictionary definition of a soothsayer is: ‘One who claims to be able to foretell events or predict the future; a seer.’ It also tells me that the word sooth’s root comes from “to confirm to be true.” Now if we use that definition then Jesus, Jeremiah, Isiaiah, Ezekiel and may others were ’soothsayers’ under this definition, yet they used the genuine Biblical gift of prophecy. The prophets were called ’seers’.
Perhaps you are uncomfortable with the questions people have asked rather than what I have said to them. Well they are not from me and I have not had the opportunity to answer some of these yet. I am not happy with some of them and will not answer some as they want but we will see what God says. See what I say, not blame me for the intentions of others. Not one word I have prophesied is out of line so far with scripture. I suggest you get into the word of God better for you certanly grieve God when you accuse me of doing wrong, for surely you grieve the Holy Spirit who is the one that shows me these things to build up the church.
Yes but their attitude does not negate the fact the Lord still speaks. Now I can think of one person who you are referring to who was not satisified and wanted more without seeming to listen, one, which is not a lot, and I have dealt with that.
God’s word is for the common man just as much as the church. I will speak what God gives me to speak and make no apologies to you for it. Prophesying does not make me a crackpot, whoever I prophesy to. What I say may make me a crackpot if it is unscriptural or out of line not who I prophesy to or whether they come to me or I go to them. Many churches are just as ungrateful and not listening as private individuals – does God go on speaking though? – yes undoubtedly. God has given me this gift to bless the body. I will seek and bless people as I see fit, under God as He enables and wills, just as Jesus went to individuals and not just groups. Some listened, some did not, some had bad attitudes, some did not. He still spoke. God is one that speaks to his people. I am called to be a servant that speaks his word. I will carry on doing so.

I do NOT despise prophecy. It is a gift of the Holy Spirit of God Almighty and should not be taken lightly. I believe you have this gift, and it is being abused.
Yes Jesus went to individuals as well as groups, but how many times did Jesus bring an individual prophecy to one who was seeking Him? He gave them personal words at times. Not prophecies. When He spoke about Jerusalem, or the Jews as a whole, He spoke prophetically. When He spoke to the woman at the well, he spoke a word of wisdom to her, but did not prophesy.
Maybe you should NOT call this post “seeking a prophetic word from the Lord?” Maybe labeling it “seeking a word of wisdom from the Lord ” would be best although it still sounds unedifying, and somewhat spectacular.
Cheryl: like I said in my previous post, if you find anything I have said you believe to be out of line (not the intentions or questions or deeds of the questioner but you think what I have said you think is wrong or unscriptural or abusive) then please bring it to me and tell me.
I am only doing on the internet what I have done for years for individuals and churches. I am just opening it up more and making myself available through another media – how is this abusive? How is this soothsaying? Perhaps some people don’t ‘deserve’ a word, perhaps they sin etc etc – but who does deserve a word – really? We are in danger of self-righteousness if we weed out who is worthy of a word and who is not.
I personally view words of wisdom or words of knowledge as all being under the prophetic umbrella. Now what I have spoken and what I will speak to people in this post have not exclusively been that anyway.
I disagree with your definition of a ‘word of wisdom’ – if anything it was a word of knowledge (that she had multiple husbands/not currently with her present one) and I view it as prophetic that he knew her thirsting and how to speak to her. I also personally think that the whole conversation is not recorded – it is edited. Regardless, she certainly thought Jesus to be a prophet and run off telling everyone so. I think you are splitting hairs to say Jesus did not prophesy to her. Jesus certainly prophesied to Peter of his denial.
It is poor theology to say that prophecy was just given to groups or nations – remember Agabus to Paul etc. Remember the prophets who did speak to individuals in the OT also. Sometimes the prophets came to them, sometimes the people came to the prophets. I think it is all the same to God in that he is willing to speak.

I think you brong up some valid concerns but it seems that you are blaming prophet in this blog for how people might respond. Such as becoming codependent. The gifts were given to the body for it’s edification. If someone becomes codependant and doesn’t read their Bibles that is not the fault of the prophet. It seems that these prophesies are rather general and wide scope. If she were giving specifics to people such as you should not take this job. You should move to that city etc. then that would be soothsaying wouldn’t it? I think you are misled. God does still speak and prophesy is one of the many gifts given to build up the body of believers.

While you bring up some good points I believe you are misguided. To blame the prophet if some become co dependent is unfair. What people do with their prophetic message is up to them. They are instructional and one must be willing to actively put that instruction to use. If prophetic messages like all the gifts are given for the edification of the church then you would have to eliminate all gifts. God is living and active an this is one way He reminds of this. Soothsaying? If you look at these prophesies they are rather general but to the individual have alot of meaning to build up the body. How can you be critical of that? Soothsaying? I don’t think she is being specific in detail such as take this job, marry that person. You are going to have this happen to you tomorrow. This is not soothsaying.
God does not just contain himself in the Bible.

I saw a beautiful flower sitting in a glass of water, but this glass was stood on top of a radiator and was also close to a window and getting too much exposure to heat. Quite suddenly the head of the flower dropped and wilted – the flower could not stand the heat. You were the beautiful flower.
I then saw a hot plate on a stove which looked cold but when I looked closer I could see the rim was hot and if I touched it – ouch! Burnt!
These visions both say the same thing to me. I feel that God is saying to you to get out of your current spiritual environment. It may feel safe but if you stay you will spiritually wilt and ‘die’. I see the word ERROR very clear, so God is saying there is error there connected with the word of God. It is an unhealthy environment that God calls you out from I feel.
I then saw a vision of a group of women sitting on a bench. They sat in a row all wearing really odd looking strange hats on their heads. God is saying there is unlawful ‘headship’ there, a wrong and unhealthy submission/leadership or something connected with leadership which is unhealthy and it is not good, especially that hinders and holds back and oppresses these women. It is a wrong unhealthy strange headship on these women that was not of God. Likewise the women also had chains tied in between their ankles a bit like a chain gang being held back. All the women wore plain and dowdy and shapeless old fashioned clothes in browns and offwhites and greys but they were really unhappy and were ‘prisoners’ (I think this is symbolical for how they felt or were treated by the others rather than how they really dressed in real life – they were joyless).
I see maths figures balancing and God is saying he will make it up to you.
I see you stirring a really dirty bucket of water with a stick and God says ‘Don’t stir muddied waters’.

Let be just add this. The prophetic message I recieved strengthened my faith. Because I have suffered alot of trauma in the past her prophetic message only served to show me that God was there in the middle of it though my emotions and circumstances told me he wasn’t. There were words in that prophetic message that NO ONE except me and God would have known so it only encourages me and serves to remind me that he is the God who really sees. THAT is a miracle. It is a blessing. A gift. Excuse me for not just believing my Bible. I needed to be reminded that miracles still do happen.

(Post 88) Thank you Miriam… I’m really grateful for your time in all these. I reread what you have written for me a few times and was a little unsure about what the ’spiritual environment’ and ‘leadership’ was really referring to. I can only guess the most likely answers(church, mind: my personal understanding/misunderstanding of what a christian must and must not do..) and i suppose those ‘answers’ are most probably part of what God wants me to see from your vision.
About the ‘ERROR’ connected with His word, i just erased the rest of the reply i was writing here -I wanted to ask what was the ‘error’ specifically and while typing, the answer just came: I am afraid to err, especially when interpreting God’s word and i want to understand Him very much, perhaps to a level like those of a ‘perfectionist’ where mistakes are not allowed… because of a wrong motive: Being prideful in being right about God, for others to see.
Even tho’ i had good motives as well as i really wanted to know so that i could teach others the right things about God, this pride was like a drop of black paint to me that clouded the entire cup of water.
If God tells you something else about the ‘error’, please tell me? There are many things i know in head but fail to remember when the time comes for it.. like ‘God cannot be fully comprehended’ in this case, and boasting in knowledge instead of the Lord.
About the bucket of dirty water, i know what it was referring to unless there’s more to it i didn’t see:
my dad is also a professed christian but he has been erring in many ways his pride does not allow him to see(as do all of us). i had tried to tell him but because i’m really not tactful(in a moment of anger i had allowed my ‘flesh’ to surface while doing so), i think i did more to repel him from listening… even tho’ the effort ended in a more peaceful note, im more certain that i’m not the one to be ‘warning’ my dad of what he’s doing. One of the reasons i understood was what Jesus said, “Only in his hometown, among his relatives and in his own house is a prophet without honor.”
i was very sad about my dad after that, that was when i posted on your blog to ask you for a Word from God.

Was the word you received a “prophetic message” or a “word of wisdom or knowledge” There is a difference. A HUGE difference.
This is where the confusion comes in and people start treating the prophets as fortune tellers.
Cheryl: there is not a huge differance at all between a prophetic message” or a “word of wisdom or knowledge” even if we are to accept the ‘John Wimber’ definition (which I do not BTW). If you are going to use your current argument then the kings who went and asked specific questions of the Lord such as ‘will we win this battle?’ sinned, when in fact they did not.
For the record when we spoke about words of wisdom or knowledge before, I was going by your definition (which is currently the most widespread one). This is what John Wimber and most of the Charismatic and Pentecostal churches accept as being divine prophetic insight into a situation, so somebody could get a vision of a heart problem in somebody, and this would be a ‘word of knowledge’ by their definition. NOTE that even if this were the correct interpretation of what words of knowledge and words of wisdom are, it is still not wrong to give prophetic messages to individuals or enquire specifically of the Lord. It is still NOT soothsaying in the Biblical sense.
I have had to unlearn a lot of John Wimber charismatic teaching. My personal interpretation now is that a word of knowledge is not as Wimber et al teaches. A word of knowledge of wisdom is just that – having divine insight into a situation, having the wisdom of Solomon for a specific thing, or being able to instruct divinely. This sits much better within the context of the passage in 1 Corinthians, makes a lot more sense as being necessary for the church, and also makes a lot more sense than splitting the prophetic gift into three as the prophetic umbrellas your version of word of knowledge and wisdom anyway, so why would Paul mention the same thing basically three times?
Regardless I do not sin, neither am I unbiblical in my approach.
Byandby: your spiritual environment is clearly your church in this instance. God is clearly saying there is error there (note he is not talking about error in you) and also abuse with bad leadership of and quashing of women in particular. There is a lack of joy and spiritual bondage there. I was sure you have seen there are problems there already and thus God was confirming what you already know – your present church is bad, get out, or you will wilt spiritually. You have nothing to gain (for you and others) by remaining there but much to lose.

Okay, I must tell you that something weird happened to me that was just like: “WOW!” I went to hear a fellow church member preach who is my pastors Son. So after the message one of the visiting women of God came to me and said: “You need to separate yourself and be quiet! God wants you to be quiet.” Then she stated that I need to shut everything off, separate, and pray to God. Then she stated taht if I do it in two days then I will get my answer! She also says that there are three voices that talk to me: God, devil, and myself and she said most of it is myself! Holding me back…
By the way I told my roomie about you and he wants to request a prophetic but he scared you will say something bad. I told him God looks at the heart…and his heart is better than mine!

Your Brother In Christ: course I remember you. As far as your roomie goes, if I ever say anything ‘bad’ to anyone it is always in order to ultimately bless them and build them up. Pointing out the stones in the horse’s shoe in order for them to be healed and run free.

Byandby: The error was not just with the women part, that was just part of it as well as bad ‘head’ship/leadership. I know you know there is bad stuff there and the church is unhealthy but it may be that you cannot see all what is there as you are too close to it/been under poor theology so do not know what should really be there in its place. I think looking back on it though in the future, with the benefit of hindsight and a healthy environment, you will see the truth in this and God’s wisdom in showing you this now and understand what I mean about the women etc.
Yes, understood, you can pray for them (and perhaps reach out to them from outside the church), but I think you must come out for the sake of yourself or spiritually suffer. You are not able to continue there and be unharmed. God told me a similar thing in the past and I wish I listened. I tried to justify my staying there by my own understanding and I all but ‘died’ spiritually. I urge you to find somewhere else asap for your own sake.
AND (and all others reminding me) (post 77 + 101) – you are not being either fair, patient or reasonable. As I told you yesterday, I have forgotten nobody and will get around to each one as soon as humanly possible. Just how many hours do you think I have in each day? I mean really?
We have lost my husbands job, home, and all our savings in the last 2 years. We now live in a camper for the last 9 months at a campground and the camper is not even paid for-it is on a cash advance from our credit card because we didn’t have any money and needed a place to live. My husband makes less than half of what he did. Our oldest child is now unmarried, pregnant, and living in public housing. Our two youngest sons are homeschooled by me. I guess we used to be what some would call the all american middle class family. I can honestly say that I loved our Lord with all my being. I had joy and peace and had received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I had received dreams, visions, and words from the Lord but now I lack the majority of these. I tried to hang on to Jesus but I ended up blaming Him. I blamed my husband too because he had also been given gifts. He used to read his bible and pray in such power. I can almost count on my hand the times I have seen him pick up his bible the last few years. I had resorted to begging my husband to please help our family by reading his bible and being a spiritual covering for our family like he used to be. I have mostly given up on that though. It is not going to happen. I had been so angry with my husband, blaming his lack of spiritual walk with our Father on our family plight. I had to let that go and I feel that I have. Any word that you might receive from Him would be incredibly helpful-harsh or not, it’s fine. I just feel like I need a touch from Him, somehow, some way. I know He is still right beside me/us. to answer your question was the prophesy “a prophetic message” or word of a word of knowledge/wisdom -I think it could be all of the above both foretelling and forthtelling. I don’t come from a charismatic background so this is all still pretty new to me. I don’t see where the need to separate into exact definitions is possible or necessary.

Let me again say I think you are really mistaken. This is not fortune telling. Who is the author of these prophesies but God Himself. These prophesies serve to draw us to Him. To wonder at His all knowing character. Fortune telling serves to simply tell us our future in a mystical fashion period apart from God. There is a big difference there.

I saw a vision of you and it was like you were tinkering about with a car engine in a garage, and you had taken it apart for some reason, and all the individual bits were neatly laid out on a cloth but I saw your ‘hopelessness’ as you could not put it back together again.
I heard you cry out (to yourself and to God) ‘I cannot put it back together again’ and there was a sinking feeling.
I felt this was to do with you and your heart/life/a specific situation or event.
I saw you with a burns mask/bandages on your face like you had been really badly burnt (in life). All I could see was your lips, everything else was swathed in bandages like a mommy.
With this I also see Humpty Dumpty and all the Kings Horse and all the Kings Men not being able to put him back together again. But you know what? They cannot but the KING can. He can put you back together again in a better way than it was even before – indeed he wants to and I see him proferring his hand out to you and say ‘take, walk with me’ and I see you take it and him lead you in the cool of the garden and chat with you ‘man to man’ sharing his heart with you, and as he shares his heart with you, so it impacts your own wounded heart as you get a new revelation of him and ministry – yes ministry (for I think there is wounding there from ministry and flames thrown by fire throwers hence your burnt face*) although I am not sure that is the only thing that causes your ‘desolation’.
I see him give you fruit to eat in the garden that is not forbidden – fruit of truth, righteousness and integrity and justice, and I see him bring restoration and put a banner of you of righteousness. I see him give you bread, bread to give to the poor and the needy, and this bread is the word of God, but it is just one loaf, but just like when feeding the 5000 although your supply seems inadequate it multiplies and feeds the crowd and like a pastor you feed the flock.

I see someone making an omelette and in order to make an omelette so they need to crack eggs (as the expression goes). I felt that such was happening in your experience, there was a cracking of eggshells (some hardship) going on, but this was necessary to bring about God’s wider purposes and plans (symbolised by the making of the omelette) and you could absolutely trust Him in this that He was in control and knew what he was doing.
I then saw a large refridgerator in your home. Now in American homes, I know friends can just go and help themselves to food and drink from the fridge from someone’s home without asking. To us Brits this seems really rude and presumptious! But in the same way, I felt that people could come to your spiritual ‘fridge’ – that is your home and be fed with spiritual food and drink/the gospel and I saw more and more people being brought to you and your husband and popping in and out of your home and lives for spiritual refreshment.
I then saw you tasting some cooking and it was sour on your tongue and you spat it out. It was like tasting sour grapes. I felt God say ensure you fully forgive and guard your tongue to ensure no sour grapes in your mouth as it would only hinder and hurt you. Be gracious and go beyond gracious!

I then saw a globe, and I saw your spiritual influence/ministry spreading outside far beyond your current one, it became international with more travelling involved.
I would like a word from God, about whatever is the most pressing and important thing he has for my life.
I will be very honest with you. I have poured my energy and lifeblood into where the Lord has called me, I know what my calling is and in my spirit can feel that the Lord has something very specific and important for me to do. I am preparing for a trip in the coming year, and I believe I was recently baptized with the Holy Spirit, but do not fully understand or comprehend what happened to me, as they said I would speak in tongues when it happened, and I did not. I believe that I may be beginning to speak in tongues now, but I am not completely convinced if it is really me, or the Holy Spirit when I speak in tongues. I know for the ministry the Lord has for me, that it is essential that I am prepared for the things to come.
Right now I feel as I am arising from a deep sleep, that my heart which was so cold, is ready to feel the flame and power of God again in my life. Over time I have grown lax, and become bitter and confused, and all that I knew and studied felt to be clouded and untrue. The Lord is good and has kept me through all this time, as I have struggled to complete the task before me. I am unworthy of him, or anything he has done for me, but I want to fully serve him with power and authority, and can feel the power of God at work in my life, and I am to be used to shake this world one last time before the end comes.
If you have any word from the Lord over my life, I would greatly appreciate it.

This is not your prophetic word as such, this is my immediate response to your questions that I can answer right away.
This does not ALWAYS happen right away, it can follow in time. Furthermore another sign can be prophecy, which again does not always manifest that moment. Do not think you were not baptised in the spirit because certain manifestations did or did not happen right then. Rather ask yourself are you closer to Jesus? Do you love God more? Is your prayer life more empowered and your witness more bold? Is your conscience more seered and convicted in regard to sin? Is the word of God more impacting> If so, it was most likely the Spirit of God that came upon you. If not, then most likely you were not baptised by anything or you recieved a counterfeit impartation that was not the Holy Spirit (this goes on a lot more than people realise).

ByandBy: I got another word for you late last night (after I signed off). I saw some construction workers in helmets working on a house which was half built, and I clearly heard them talk about the foundations of this house. They said very clearly ‘Replace’.
I understand this means that God is saying once you have left your current bad spiritual environment and go into a good one, God wants to work on you in this area ‘your foundations’. You are the house that is being built up and God is working on you. However you need to understand what will be going on with you, which is that God will be wanting to work on the foundations as they have not been built right/are not strong enough/are on shaky soil. This is usually talking about the foundation of our faith and the word of God in our lives. God wants you to understand this to be open to Him to let him replace or reconstruct or firm up your current thinking in order to make you stronger in the longer run. He says this not to criticise you but to build you up. He loves you and wants to make you stronger and more stable in Him. Let him root out all error and bad thinking and strengthen what is weak and put much good things there.

I see a vision of Jesus standing at the door of your house (that is symbolic you), and he is knocking on the door and waiting for you to open it and let Him in.

I feel that God really wants fellowship with you – he wants to ’sup’/dine with you, and spend time with you but you are not currently letting him. He wants to be known by you and you to know Him. He is thus ‘neglected’ and ‘ignored’ or ‘cast aside’ by you for more important wordly things – fellowship, relationship and knowledge with/of Him is not your Number 1 priority, neither is knowing what is on his heart (it is more important for you about what is on yours). It needs to be a two way thing. I encourage you to open your door and let Jesus in and spend time with him and make him thus your number one in everything.

I saw that you were as this pretty flower, but this flower had its petals closed up (so it looked like a tulip but it wasn’t – it should have been opened up, it was that kind of flower). I saw the petals opening up a very little way, and then a hand came – God’s hand – and tried to touch the centre of the flower (for good), but the flower was really sore and scared there and did not want touched there. ‘Ouch’ it went and it would not yield to opening up and letting the hand in.
I feel God is saying that you have been very hurt and are thus very guarded and defensive with self-imposed protective barriers. God wants to get in there and ‘touch you’ to bring healing, freedom, joy and relief and free from your pain and any sadness but you are scared to let Him in.
He will not hurt you, he will not abuse you, he will not let you down. Let Him in as he is gentle and tender. He is not going to use a scalpel on you and chop you apart ruthlessly. I see Him being so gentle with you – he is like cleaning the centre of the flower with a baby wipe, that’s how careful and gentle and tender he will be with you if you let Him.
Then you can open and truly bloom and blossom, and bumble bees can come to feed off your nectar (you’ll be able to give out to others).
Also, I see you have been very hurt in the past by men and your trust has been abused, and it is hard for you to trust God but God is not such a man – neither does he lie (I think you have been lied to by men). I suspect you have been treated by men or your life is a little like that of the woman at the well (John 4)
“If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.” (v10)
Know the one who speaks to you today – how wonderful and powerful He is – and ask him fo living water and let this Jesus pour it out into your soul.

Thanks for your reply.Its nice to finally hear the Lord’s message for me. In fact the Lord was knocking on my door for quite a number of days now. Then I started knocking on your door since the 19th of September(unaware of the fact that I had not opened my door to the Lord itself). Then you started knocking at the Lord’s door(by praying to him). Thus the process had entered an infinite loop. Anyway, just tell the Lord “Thank you” on my behalf. I have already opened my door to him.
I also have another query. You have not specified whether we have to give a Veg or Non-Veg Burger to a homeless guy.I personally prefer treating a person to Veg, though I myself like Non-Veg. Kindly clarify this and let me know.

Unlike the woman in John 4, I’ve never been married, but God is letting me know through your blog that He does see EVERYTHING, NOTHING is hidden from Him. However much those men have lied or abused my trust, it was mine to give and God is just letting me know to trust Him, to allow Him to decided who is supposed to be in my life. Having been celibate for over 12 years, there comes a time when one wants things to move, but just because we want it doesn’t mean that He wants it for us. Thank you again for allowing the Lord to bring these words to me through you.

I want to be careful that I’m not trying to take the “easy way out” and ask the Lord for a word without seeking him myself. That being said, if the Lord does have a word for me, I would appreciate hearing what He tells you.
BrwnBeauty: thanks for this. I did see God bringing a husband into your life as a blessing (if you will have it). I wanted to weigh this up more before I said it to you or perhaps it was more like the real truth is I lacked faith to say it, but God knows the truth of what I saw and when I saw it.
A.N.D: the burger was just as an example of doing something nice for someone, do whatever your heart and hands tell you to do, just pass on love in a practical way, doesn’t matter if it is veggie or non veggie! If you (or anyone else) is poor and cannot afford financial gifts, then brush an old person’s hair, or walk their dog or…you get my point. Or do all!
You can tell him this yourself, he’d much rather hear it from you. Opening the door is letting him into your life to dwell with you and you with him. Like he said He wants to get to know you, and you him, so enjoy Him.
It does not work like that, that would not be healthy. However as you get to know Him better and grow in relationship so you can talk to Jesus continually and he will talk to you and you will be guided by Him yourself. Prophecy can never beat a personal relationship with God, obtained through repentance and the blood of Jesus, and the Holy Spirit who comes upon us and guides us personally into all truth. Then get into the word of God the Bible. If you follow all these steps then you can hear the Lord and talk to him 24/7 but it is not just about ‘hearing’ it is about relationship.
The scripture I gave about standing at the door and knocking is often used for non Christians. As I do not know or see everything, can I ask, do you know Jesus as your Lord and Saviour? Have you become born again? If you have already done this, I mean no offence, as the scripture was written for those in the church to be hot for God and be in fellowship with him too.

Byandby: I understand you wanting confirmation but I think you already have your testimony of 2 or 3 witnesses (which is biblical confirmation).
1. You already know in yourself there is bad stuff there, I am not telling you something you cannot see (at least in part). In addition to things in the physical realm to prove what I said, and your knowledge in your mental realm if you like, there also may be the witness of the Holy Spirit within.
2. the word of God in the Bible says not to continue to go to abusive churches or those in serious error with sinful leaders etc. ‘Have nothing to do with such men’
3. God used me as a prophet to say ‘get out’ or suffer and I have no knowledge in myself on anything about you or your church.
You also know what was to be understood in that regard when God spoke, it was not unclear on certain points. You do not need extra interpretation as to what was said (which is often what ‘weighing’ is about). There is absolutely a place of testing and weighing things, and even waiting on God sometimes, but if you get confirmation of something you already know to be true, and the Bible agrees with this, and then a prophetic person comes along and says it then you should not wait any longer. You have ample confirmation, and you may anger God by seeking extra confirmation as in some cases it would be seen as testing him. God does not usually send 2 or 3 prophets or confirmation upon confirmation when you have the two other witnesses as the message is clear enough.
God is saying it very strongly. You are in a real bad environment, get out or suffer! I do not mind you ‘angering’ me (you don’t BTW) but please don’t anger God by dallying as you really do know what to do already and delaying things will only make you ’suffer’ more.

When I saw the women at the well I was struck by the ‘I have no husband’ bit….and I felt so with you but you had been hurt by several guys in the past. Yes God was wanting to heal you and make you whole, and touch the hurting part and make you open up more to others and bloom, but that’s only part of it for I did see Him bring you a guy – like ‘it is right you have no husband’ (now) but ‘I will bring you one’ (soon). This is another reason why he wanted to heal the marital/relationship/sexual bit abused by men to restore you so he could bring in a guy who was perhaps depicted as the bumble bee feeding off your nectar when you opened up (a bumble bee in a nice way like a pretty storybook and like nature, not a nasty sting).
Correct hence him saying about healing you (I think), albeit I’d say ‘more complete’ as you’ll never be perfect and completely complete in this life, and indeed I even think that one of the ways God wants to make you complete is by bringing you a mate. God wants to heal you through and through in all areas, including the family area (and I think a man around is better for your boy too) and it is about opening to him to his spirit to be made whole, but on reflection thinking on God’s hand it is being open to what God brings us too by his hand, and trusting Him that it will not sting your tender heart.
All I meant by that was that if you accept it from God, as you have free will and can remain single if you wish. However I think God says you’ll be happier with a life partner and it will be better for you. Also, I am not saying the guy will be weird, awful and a geek, he seemed a nice man, a godly man – not perfect but hey who is. I also think it will happen sooner than you think. There, I said it, send me an invite to the wedding!
Obviously test and weigh what I say, especially if you think you have a lifetime calling to be single (which I think was just for a season – and also some people think and accept (I do not say you think this neceassarily) life circumstances to be a sign of their calling to celibacy (eg no good men around or too many wounds) rather than hearing and understanding the call / voice of God on this). Also I feel that this (marriage) is what you truly desire though you love God enough to accept being celibate – and God loves that submission to his will in you but he wishes to give you the desires of your heart for you do delight in him. Anyway I say what I see. Pray about it and put it in your pending tray and see what happens, but please let me know what happens. It does not feel a long ways away before you get your answer on this.

Hello I was just wondering if God has left me alone because I can not seem to get my act together. I have been through so much in my life and I would really love to help people from making the same mistakes that I have made but It seems as though I am not totally sold out for Christ. I see myself helping people but I cant seem to get my flesh together. I have been saved a few years but didn’t really start to have a personal relationship with God until recently. My biggest fear is to die and go to hell, and to not fulfill my life purpose. I guess i just want to know if God still believes in me when I don’t always believe in myself. I am a dreamer and have been asking God to give me interpretation of my dreams. Some of my dreams seem weird to me, but I have been told that they have great spiritual significance. My dreams consist of trees, snakes, bodies of water, climbing stairways, graves breaking open, me talking to the people that are dead, space ships, fallen stars, demons wearing preacher robes, people crawling under the pews like snakes, old women turning into demons, doves flying at night, eagles flying during the day….this is just to name a few. It is very frustrating sometimes not to know the meaning behind these dreams. I would like to know what is God trying to reveal to me through my dreams. I feel that God is talking to me personally, but I guess my immaturity in Him and the fullness of outside things going on in my life is the hinderance to me not receiving. Please give me a word from the Father.
I have been feeling heavily that September would be the beginning of restoration for me. From a very bad church experience that left me churchless to financial devastation and having to move home with my 3 children after my husband went to prison. It has been hard, but God has given me a promotion on my job last month, my debts are being paid in full, my husband will be home next year and God has been dealing with me spritually like crazy…I am waking up in the wee hours of the morning and not able to go back to sleep. I have been feeling an overwhelming sense of peace. The funny thing is that it is really scaring me to some degree, I am still feeling as though I am missing something. I have been asking God to reveal this to me and I am praying that the word I receive will be the confirmation I need as this time of new beginnings in my life. I am stuck and can not really explain this feeling.
I will make this short because the Lord knows our pain. I’ve been seeking the Lord on answers to great prophetic words that have been given to me and my husband and they still have not lined up and our situation is very bad at this point. The words were confirming to us and they were words that nobody but the spirit of God would no. Just one of them was ” WE have been crying out too the Lord asking if we are or have been disobedient to him” and the answer from him was no. We received that word 2 years ago along with other great ones and I can say I have drawn even closer to the Lord since then do to circumstances beyond our control. We were also told that we would be put through a great test but Jesus would be with us and if the last 2 years have been a test it feels like and looks like destruction on our part I really feel I’m loosing hope. We just want to be who he has called us to be and walk in the blessings he has promised.

There’s been much “cracking of eggshells” thru the years! Boy Oh boy!
After a while, one can end up in what I call “survival mode”. This is where you lower/abandon many expectations, you develop creative coping strategies to ‘make do’ and decide to bide time till situations, which others may control, change. I’m pretty much a ’survival mode’ pro! hehe!
But through this, I’ve developed a thankfulness for little things, a sense of humor over yucky things, and a peace that in God’s time, change does come.
Anyhow, my husband and I will be praying about sharing what’s in our “fridge”, and offering spiritual refreshment to others. To be honest, I’ve gotten away from having folks over as I’m a little embarassed about my home. This one’s a fixer-upper and it hasn’t been financially prudent to tackle many projects to date, and we are trying to save and be good stewards of what we do have. Obviously this is something I’ll have to just get over.
I’d like your wisdom/opinion about the “sour grapes”. Because you dare speak the truth about ungodly big shots on your blog, I’ve read some accuse you of having ’sour grapes’ of sorts. When is one just telling it like it is, versus actually speaking with bitterness? And,if you are righteously angry, won’t someone seeking to accuse or shoot the messenger throw the Bitterness Card at you just to try and shut you up and discredit you in hopes no one else believes you? (Its an old trick, employed by a few ’saints’ I’ve even seen stop by here)
So when is it advisable to be gracious and guard your tongue? And when should someone be full-well told…despite inviting the smarmy comeback of “you’re just bitter! Blahh!”
As for the spreading/international influence, this is a confirmation of a word that has been offered to me on several occaisions before. I do speak and sing, but am not a bible-college educated evangelist by any means.. nor do I fashion to pass myself off as one in the future (hey, know of any Internet Degrees I can obtain in 6 weeks or less? Ha! Never.)
I am just fine with God himself leading me along the way. I have no master plan of my own to accomplish this.

I think the main think is not so much what you speak but the spirit by which you speak it and how you speak it. You need to watch that unforgiveness and bitterness and judgment does not creep in your heart and speech and be careful what you say so you cannot be misconstrued by people as being bitter even if you are not. Go overboard in being gracious in this circumstance and I think in this instance be very careful what you say. Yes absolutely you should speak up for truth – even when it is being negative but be guided by the Spirit as it is not always right to air your church’s dirty laundry in public, sometimes doing it quietly in the leaders ear is enough, sometimes it is not. This requires wisdom as to discern whether to cry out in full view or keep quiet, and of course requires being led by the Spirit.
If criticisim is ’sour grapes’ then Jesus was sinning and of course he never did – he was perfect. He was angry but anger did not eat him up. The spirit of the Lord came upon certain people in power in the OT and they got angry, but righteous anger does not make us bitter or out of control or judgmental, it makes us bold and come against stuff but still love and forgive.
‘and when they saw they were unschooled uneducated men they marvelled, noting these men had been with Jesus.‘
Wow! I do not despise education – God uses it and even guides us to it sometimes – but being with Jesus is all you need!

Well, I have not had the opportunity as of yet to tell my pastor about the dream. As I am praying about how or if God wants me to say it. Now because I had the dream does not mean for me to tell it. Everything has a season. However if God says so then I will (through you or anybody).
I have heard a lot about separating myself and praying and talking to God. I am doing my best about that. What I hear from God concerning myself is about me not giving up and BE QUIET.
I asked because one prophet told me that he can see increase in the market place for me but everything seems to go haywire when it comes to finances and social life (wife).
and God never talks to me about my finances or my wife (if I am even going to have one). My mentor said it would probably be a couple of years because of the pain and hurt! I am like “AH!” but I still have a fight in me!

In the meantime it seems that you run here, there and everythere, far ahead of God, seeking to hear endless words and gain infinite knowledge, but not actually listening to, or following through much if any of the advice given you in the present? What good it is it being a hearer of the word but not a follower?
You are right…I am speechless…I hope I am not trying to go far ahead of God. If you see that then I will except…I only ask because I have been going through somethings far beyond me praying and talking to God about me (which I am doing more of now!).
I actually thought I was being obedient about not going telling my pastor about the dream. I wanted to hear from God. I am not trying to use you as a soothsayer. I wanted to know…I was seeking it because things are haywire in my life. It seems that God talks to me about everything else but about my well being. Like I said before (whether or not I am praying) parts of me is like (Where is God am I cursed). I remember asking God about my financial status and social life and all I got was “You are too nasty ask for my Love.”
I will tell my pastor the dream…I just want to be right before God. Everything given does not mean that it is meant to be said right then and there! Am I right or wrong…Please do not be fustrated (which I sense (my senses) you are).

The fact is you felt something, your mentor felt something, I felt it – how many more times do you need told the same thing before you put it into action? Especially given its importance? Deliver the message and let the pastor decide what to do with it (or not) but discharge your responsibility.
I know and perhaps you spread yourself thin as you run from here to there, and this word to the next one, rather than concentrating on things bit by bit. Your eyes are always on the future rather than concentrating on the present, it is a way of living in fantasy and never dealing with now. Its like you have all these thoughts going around in your head and you run far ahead but don’t deal with things one at a time. I do not mean to be unkind, it is just it is a little frustrating for God (and others) cos you don’t listen well and you are always focussed on the next thing so that little seems actually to get done. I have known many people like this BTW – it is not just you, they always hear but rarely do.
For instance you claim you were told: ‘one of the visiting women of God came to me and said: “You need to separate yourself and be quiet! God wants you to be quiet.’ for two days she said and you’d get the answer. Yet you did not do this cos you were here asking more questions sooner than this. Can you see the dicotomy?
Okay…I see what you are saying and I never saw it like that…You do sound fustrated. However when it comes to the dream my mentor told me to pray about it and be wise. I never saw it like this…I guess from now on I will say, on the website, what God is saying to me and not looking for a word…I do not want to upset God or people (unless God says so). WOW is all I can say…I really need to focus on my hurts, and how God wants to talk to me concerning me…I sort of need to repent becuase for years many have been my little god (not knowing though). It’s ok to ask for a word from time to time, its what you do with the word – any words – I know whole churches who love hearing ‘words’ but never do nothing with them. Don’t be like this.

Just to underline this, you are welcome on this site and to post your thoughts and comments. I am NOT angry at you – I am frustrated a little, yes – but at your attitude and not YOU, ok? I have seen this in so many other people – including me in the past to a little extent, so focussed on the future they neglect living in the present – they completely miss it. YOU MUST LIVE IN THE PRESENT OR YOU DWELL IN CLOUD CUCKOO LAND.
Just imagine it like the Lord wants you to go shopping and gives you prophetic instructions.
God says: I want you to go and buy some apples.
Christian: Ok God, and what about tomorrow? Do you want apples then.
God: no bananas.
Christian: ok God and what about the day after that? Apples, bananas, or cherries?
God: cherries. But don’t forget to get my apples today.
Christian: (ignores the apples part and is so focussed on knowledge or revelation for knowledge’s sake and will go on and on seeking revelation, and others will come along and say yes God wants you to buy cherries on Wednesday. And you’ll ask them and God about more and more into the future.
Christian: and what about on November 22nd? and January 3rd? and 2009? what about 2022 and then what about….?
And in the meantime no apples ever get bought, or bananas or cherries. Can you see how ridiculous this is? Or how sinful?
To hear – prophetically or anything else – means to OBEY.
It is not wrong to ask God about the future. It is not wrong to pray about his perfect will BUT there are extremes of this behaviour (as above) which I dare to say you are a little guilty of. This following bit is me sounding off against the church, not you:
Also remember the unworthy servant parables. You (and the whole church) know much of what God wants you to do yet do not do it. We are all guilty of this. They await direct prophetic confirmation of what is already clear as daylight in the scriptures. ‘If they ain’t led, that homeless man don’t get fed.’ Why was the Lord so angry in the parable of the sheep and goats. Cos these hypocrits waited being ‘led’ before doing what they knew God wanted of them among other things: and that is caring for the poor and hurting and taking the gospel to the world.
If you want to walk in revelation knowledge, and the flow of God and the Holy Spirit, then obey what you know NOW. Wait no longer, then you become like a worthy servant who is given more and can be trusted with more explict instructions and revelation. I would say this to any Christian seeking revelation. OBEY WHAT YOU KNOW NOW. LIVE IN THE PRESENT. Tomorrow has enough worries of its own, if God wants to guide you more he will guide you once you are off your backside doing what you already know he wants you to do.

However I do not agree what she is saying, I think it is clearly erroneous and her to be wrong on her points scripturally, but that’s ok, we can be open with one another. She meant me no harm.

I appreciate you thinking of me and sharing what you believe to be nice, however it is not nice. Fatima is one of the most evil places on the planet in terms of deception and idolatary. I have been there and the spiritual atmosphere in terms of its heaviness is awful. Evil spirits there abound and delight in the place. People shuffle forward on their knees while weeping for what seems like about one mile up the huge shrine, doing penance for their sins, while muttering hail marys and hugging rosary beads. This does not bring them to God – no it takes them away from him! It is idolatory and paganism! It is a religion of works and not grace – the complete opposite of what the Bible teaches. The false Maryan visions are not godly but are of the antichrist, they contradict the bible and Jesus. They seek to take people away from Jesus, not bring him to him. I was brought up a Roman Catholic and even went to see the pope, (I came out of it and renounced it after finding Jesus) but I can tell you this: the Roman Catholic religion is false, evil, antichrist, blasphemous, idolatorous and you should have nothing to do with it or any of its prophets or visionaries.
The Roman Catholic Gospel is another gospel to the true gospel, and their Jesus is another Jesus to the true Jesus. I am sure you can find on google links to articles why Catholicism is as far removed from Christianity as Mormonism or other heretics and apostates. Endtimes, I have been discussing your blog with my wife and friends. Has definitely made for some interesting conversation. I have solid, Bible believing friends, and their take on you and your site is quite mixed actually.
One question? Why do you offer Words of Prophecy from the Lord to complete strangers? Doesn’t this seem like it might cause people to look to you (granted without realizing they are doing so), as their personal “Oracle” or “Diviner”. I feel like a few people on your “Seeking a Word from the Lord?” section are doing just that…not seeking a Word from the Lord directly through him, but using you as their intermediary. Any thoughts on that? I honestly would take your prophecy more to heart where it not for this section. I can’t understand your motives.

Why not? Isn’t this what a Biblical prophet actually is and does among other things? Isn’t this what Jesus and the disciples and apostles and the church did? Have you read of where the complete stranger is convicted that ‘God is surely among you’ by having the secrets of his heart revealed when prophecy is spoken forth?
If I had a website offering just prayer to complete strangers, then I am sure you or nobody else would have no problem with this. Most would not have a problem if someone offered ‘pastoral’ or ‘evangelistic’ advice as well to ‘complete strangers’. So why do you have problems with me offering a personal word for the Lord where possible given time constraints? I am making myself available and serving with what I have. I offer numerous personal words to people out there in the real world, so why does the internet media make what I am doing wrong? Is it the media that is wrong? I say no! God can use it just as he can use letters in the mail or written published material in newspapers, magazines or books.
Some may have all sorts of motives. Some may be blind, some may see. Some may depend on the minister, some on God alone. Read the posts to Cheryl as we discussed some of this. It is not really about what they think or even their motives when they approach, it is about how Jesus meets with them or not accordingly and How I respond to them. Nobody comes to God with perfect motives, but nonetheless God can meet people where they are at. Judge me by what I do and I say, and not by the people or their motives and questions that approach me! Don’t you think Jesus had people ask Him such things? He would have answered them perhaps not how they expected, but nonetheless he would have answered them with what they needed to hear.
If you mean looking to the Lord, but asking for the answer to come forth from the lips of man, so what? Is this not what the kings did when they enquired of the Lord shall we win such and such a battle? That’s the whole point of prophecy, answers from God coming forth from the lips of a man! God gives prophets to the church and world for a reason – they are needed! If people depend on the prophet over God there is a problem, but many do not, they see it as a blessing that helps guide them and encourage them along their personal pilgrimage just like any other form of encouragement except more powerful and impacting. Now obviously a prophet should not become a mediator as such between God and man, or replace the person or place of Christ, or someone needing a personal relationship with Christ, or realising they are depending on God alone for the answer and the answer comes from God, not the prophet: the prophet is but a messenger. If they realise they enquire of the Lord and not the prophet then this is right! Many people have unhealthy attitudes towards pastors and people with a healing ministry. Does this make either ministry wrong? I say no!
There are all sorts of people coming here with all sorts of motives and beliefs, some right, some wrong – as there always will be in any ministry. I am not responsible for what these people think or intend when they approach me, but I can give them a biblical answer and point them back to Jesus. What’s wrong with this? All sorts of people had mixed motives when approaching Jesus and his workers.The people even tried to worship Paul and his companion! Shall we judge Paul accordingly for these people’s attitudes?! No! He responded rightly and tore his clothes and said ‘we are but only men!’ and pointed people back to Jesus. Did he still prophesy and minister signs and wonders?! Yes!
A word from the Prophet or Prophetess is a word from the Lord. The Prophet or Prophetess is only a mouthpiece and they cannot speak until God speaks. Remember that what is spoken is the mind and heart of God. As for myself I cherish a word from God because “one” word can change your whole life if you take it serious and act on it. Words that I have received were light to my pathway and has caused me to be able to position myself or set myself up for the blessings of God. Many times I wanted a word from God and he did not speak right away. I finally realized that he sends his word to encourage, etc. but in the meanwhile we have to live holy and continue to rely on the word of God (the Bible). Even when a Prophet or Prophetess does not receive a word for us, the written word is always there and we are supposed to live by it accordingly. Seems to me that this site was not designed for debate but for people who are genuinely interested in receiving what God has to say which is valuable. Please let us not cause the Prophetess to have to spend more time on debating than on the real purpose of the site. Some of us genuinely and patiently await a word from our Most High God. God bless all of you – I love the Lord today and I have received many words that allowed me to press forward when I thought I could go no further. Praise God!!
My sense in all this is that the church has become used to either the false signs and wonders or no signs and wonders (much of my church experience lately) that when the real gifts are exercised we aren’t used to it and don’t know how to catagorize it or deal with it.
It is no different today than when Jesus was walking the earth. He is still met with skepticism, there is still hardhardedness (even from believers) and he still divides a room.
I come from a reformed background but became a believer in a mixed (reformed but also charismatic) church that had a number who exercised the gifts and it soon split. It is hard to have balance. The church walks in that tension of either going crazy into the false stuff or it refuses the gifts altogether. (I am not necessarily supporting any theology here) I don’t think Jesus cares your deominational bent so much as whether you are willing to let Him walk amongst you.
Nothing has changed since he walked this earth. Read the book of Mark and see peoples reactions to Him. No not much has changed at all.

Why wouldn’t Jesus want to build us up, heal us, encourage us? Isn’t that the point of all His gifts to build up his body? So that we can go out into the world with greater confidence and be he hands and feet? To actualy do his will? I don’t get all the skepticism.

I saw you with a garland of laurels – the sort of things envoys use to symbolise peace keeping. I was also reminded of the leaves for the healing of many nations in Ezekiel.
I felt God was saying he was making you an envoy – a peace maker – and he was giving you a healing ministry, but it’s focus and power was one of reconciliation – a ministry of reconciliation bringing peace (shalom). This reconciliation element would be your ministry’s main focus and power, and I felt that if walking right, you would clearly be the envoy and labelled as the one who reconciles: men to men, and men to God. It would be clear as daylight to many, even non christians, and simple and powerful – you pointing to the bridge between man and God and somehow your life made it even more plain. I see people looking at you as you point to the bridge and seeing this bridge between God and man (Jesus) so clearly behind you, as if God opens their eyes to it through you, and it is dynamite it is so powerful and plain to see, they see the way and reconciliation is brought. But it is not just to non Christians, it is with others also this healing and reconciliation ministry can flow through you.

Handmaiden: I hear the words, ‘Don’t doubt’, that this doubt binds you and hems you in and holds you down. I see you like a prisoner stretched out on a rack (a medieval torture treatment) and you are being held down by the enemy in this rack and pressed down with doubt. Let God cut the ropes tying your wrists down and set you free as you repent of this as it has weighed you down for some time.
I see a vision of you in a park throwing an orange frisbee for a dog. You throw it out in the full expectation that it will be returned to you. In the same way, I feel that you can ‘throw something’ away from you in the full expectation it will come back to you in due course.
I see you outside in the darkness and though it is not brilliant daylight as you’d wish, enough light is emanated to see by when the moon is full: the owl and the pussycat they ‘danced by the light of the moon, the moon, they danced by the light of the moon’. Moonlight bathes the world in a differant light, and we see things differantly. Darkness like this is not to make us to fear but sometimes to make us wonder, and be awestruck as we see things differantly, we grow, we learn. We learn to walk with God still better as we learn to trust. Similarly I see a time of darkness you’ll be led through but it is a blessing and not a curse to make you wonder and not snivel. It is a time for you to really learn to dance! To help you know your God and be released of the burdens that have held you back and the weight that ensnares you.
You ask me if you are ready to be a prophet, yet there is much to learn and I see you like a climber wearing hiking boots, stumbling and tripping over tiny stones in your path, (your ankles weak and turning over at them), going uphill with a non existant but felt heavy burden on your back (appearing as a rucksack of rocks), feeling oppressed, whipped by others and hard beaten in the hot sun. Let God change your vision of Himself so you’ll not stumble on these tiny stones in the future, not be brought down by the small things – let Him remove this burden (this rucksack of rocks on the back – have you ever seen the film the Mission with Robert de Nero carring those rocks up the waterfall?), and instead allow God to put into your hands HIS burden which is a light basket of beautiful cut flowers to carry. And this is to serve others with and instead of staggering miserably on a dusty and dry path wearing dull and lifeless clothes, being weighed down, so you can run free barefoot on the fresh dewy grass with joy and gladness and freedom and there is much colour and brightness around. (Ok, a very hippy image, but without the LSD and sinful lifestyle!) I see you handing these flowers out to people one by one with great joy and it was so light and unoppressive compared to what you thought you should be doing. These flowers though are a great blessing to the recipients, and I understand them to be prophetic words given out to others. (Note I am not saying you have a calling to be a Prophet with a capital P, I did not see this).

Hey, I read the articles you sent me concerning the gift of tongues and let me tell you what happened.
On my way home from work last night, I prayed that if the gift of tongues I was speaking was false to leave me in the name of Jesus. I kept praying out loud to cleanse myself of any evil spirits that may be trying to deceive me. Well, last night I went to bed, and woke up at around 4:00am with a demonic attack, where I could see three large dark figures above me, and my body was paralyzed and I couldn’t speak.
As I was trying to speak the name of Jesus to break their hold and cast them out of the room, for some reason I kept saying in my mind and later out loud “Kaisar zeiso” which was really weird because they said something almost exactly like it in the movie “The usual suspects” so I went to look up the meaning and this is what I found:
“It is entirely from Ancient Greek – “Kaisar sozei” would mean “Caesar/The King saves”.
I find this quite interesting, as I was trying to cry out “Jesus save me” so he would come and deal with the demonic attack. I have had demonic attacks before, but I have never spoke anything other than English.
My aunt got a word from God for all the young people in my extended family. I was away at the time, but when I got back my mother had a piece of paper which had every member of our family with what God’s calling for them was.
My mother wanted me to guess which one I was, and as she was reading off several of the positions on the sheet I knew exactly what my position was even before she said it.

I am Canadian, but have spent the past few years working in the USA making Christian TV and films. Soon I will be going to Papa New Guinea to produce the only Christian TV show in their country while training their own people.
I have never dated anyone, and I am almost 27 years old. I have been waiting for God’s choice for my life, and do not want to give my heart to anyone until I know for sure she is the one.
I do not exactly know how I should go about accomplishing what the Lord has for me, but I often have a burning desire inside me to speak out the things of God.
If God gives you a word for my life, ministry, who I am to marry, or you just have some wisdom you could impart to me, that would be most appreciated.

I do not mind people coming back for more – eventually! Please hear and apply the word I gave to you some days ago. You did not say whether you have asked Christ into your life or not, the one who is there for you 24/7 and never has a queue in front of him! The word I gave you will more than see you through the rest of your life, let alone the next week, if you apply it to your life. It is not a daily word like a horoscope – it is saying let God into your life and fellowship with him – this is what He wants! He does not want you to dine on a relationship with me. I am NOT your daily personal prophet – and cannot be for anybody even if I wanted to – it would be filthy in the sight of God.
If you want a daily word then fellowship with Jesus, read the Bible which is full of words, and get something from the general words posted on this website which are addressed to the church and world as a whole.
You seem to lean on men and not God Himself. I remember you gave me the Fatima link, does this mean you are a Roman Catholic? – if so it makes more sense why you seem to depend on me so much. I am not your priest and no man should be your priest. Only Christ is, and he makes the way open for you to approach God direct and speak with him – you do not need your way blocked by ritual, men and heirarchy.

Thank you for your word- I do agree with the word as I am in doubt.- I am in a very demoralising marriage, and have been for some time- I often ask myself why do I stay when it’s so bad? I think this is probably why I have a battle with doubt. I am mocked and maligned.
I guess I am wondering if it’s really worth it to continue to believe it will get better as their has been so much disappointment.There has been abuse and it appears hatred for God from my mate.
I am asking what do I do now? Do I stay with someone who has so much disdain for me, or do I continue to hope they will change? I’ve been married a while.
I am asking the Lord for specifics about this. I sort of feel that if I do leave, I will finally be free. Does the Lord have a word about this?

A.N.D….if I may…don’t be afraid to speak with God directly. He does/will and can hear all you have to say. Having been raised a RC as well, I think to some extent I can understand your reluctance to do so..but here’s the thing…God WANTS YOU…to speak to Him. He wants to hear YOUR VOICE in His ear…He wants you to know Him!
Are you a parent? If so, do your children have to go to someone else to get you to listen to them? Do you speak directly to them?
God is your Father and as such, He wants to hear all the cares/burdens/joys/accomplishments of your day. He wants to share ALL you have and are with you.
Don’t be afraid of Him. He loves you and wants to be in direct contact with you.

I do believe in the prophetic, and I do believe there are prophets of the Lord in existence today. I have been mightily encouraged and blessed by our sister’s prophetic words. I do love you in the Lord Miriam, even though I dont personally know you. I suppose my problem with this post was seeing the desperation in some of the words of the “seekers”. It kind of reminded me of my “deception days” wherein a line would form for those seeking God’s will in their life, and being told a lot of hooey. I realize that this is not Miriam’s intent. I suppose my hesitance at accepting this type of prophecy is that it smacks of “prophecy on demand” to me. I heve asked the Lord for forgiveness for hurting anyone’s feelings in this matter, and have also asked Him for forgiveness for hurting Him. I now ask your forgiveness. I am not asking for a sign, not cofirmation for what I already believe by faith to be true, to be part of His plan for my life. It is big faith that the Lord sees and unyielding faith that He rewards–I know this.
Father God has promised me something, a huge blessing, that seems at times anything but possible, but I KNOW that my God will deliver, despite circumstances.
My questions if the Lord is willing that I should know, is this: when?
I have waited semi-patiently =D for coming upon a year with both advances and emotionally devastating blows. I have obeyed things the Lord told me specifically to do (sometimes not the first time, but He taught me through it and I have learned the importance of first-time obedience), and I know that my life is in His hands…
I just really wonder when.

Though I am tempted to ask for confirmation for what the Lord promised me, He rewards FAITH and it wouldn’t show very much faith if I had to be told again what He has already spoken.

AND: the post is specifically headed 2007 to say the vision was received in 2007 for those that google and look for prophecies recieved by date. I have said in the comments I do not have the exact time, date and year on this, although I see the fall time (autumn) and the 15th and other details I have written about. It may or may not be this year. I think it could well be, hence my urgency in getting it out, but God has not specifically said “2007″ and I would be lying if I said He had. I do not think I have dated any of the other prophecies, but if and where I have, I would have been specific with details about dates and timing. God rarely gives exact dates and timescales, particularly when things can be altered by people’s responses.

Your prophetic words certainly are that of the Holy Spirit. You remind me of Bishob Eddie Long who so vehemently imparts knowledge to believers and unbelievers alike. I have been having dreams that I believe are trying to send a message, but unlike you, it’s is difficult for me to interpret my dreams. One dream for me that remains in the forefront of my mind, is that of me and my husband having dinner at a lavish and expensive restaurant, however the meat we were feasting on was RAW lamb. We didn’t even intially realize it was raw until we had eaten a good bit of it, I more than my husband; and I was afraid I would get sick. But I never did get sick. The dream was rather long but that is the part that plays over and over in my mind. Your thoughts on this are appreciated!

The interpretation that springs to my mind (and I am not saying this is the spirit of God that says this, it is my ‘common sense’) is that it is do with the spiritual teachings you and your husband are receiving, and that you are swallowing them without thinking about them enough and meditating on them – hence they are ‘raw’ and also the actual teachings are not truly Spirit filled and truth? Perhaps there is quite a lot of word faith or prosperity teaching around you too hence the expensive restaurant?

just trying to get some direction for my life
I am struggling tonight with a problem that may seem like nothing to some, but I’m so sad I can seem to produce nothing but tears tonight. Perhaps someone has had this experience and can help me. Please help me! It is a spiritual problem. I am more hungry than I have ever been for God. I diligently seek him from day to day and it seems as if nothing is happening. I cry out daily. I have problems with money and other things just as the average person. However, the hunger for God is more important to me than anything else. When God is most important and you seek him diligently and ask for the hunger to be filled and nothing happens – somebody tell me what to do. I need the hunger to be filled. Nothing seems like enough – Please help!

He doesn’t want us to remain in the same place. Paul speaks to the Corithians, telling them that basically they are like baby Christians…we are to mature and keep on maturing in Christ.
Sometimes I, too, feel overwhelmed, that there is so much to know about Him, so much to knowing Him, that I cannot handle it. But it is that great mystery, that we can never know all there is to know, that makes this present life and adventure. Walking with Him, learning more and more (and of course the more you learn, the more you realize you don’t know)…
if you just can’t seem to hear anything from Him, pick up your Bible, and you will find many times that He remains silent, sometimes for the same reason, sometimes for a different reason. But be assured that He hears you when you cry, doubt not that He listens intently–His Word even says that He catches all of your tears in a bottle, remembering each one.
Keep seeking. Claim, verbally, Jesus’ promise that if you knock, He will open the door, if you ask, it will be given. He will fill your hunger, just don’t give up!

The Lord longs to be in union with us, but He won’t unless we give ourselves completely to Him, just as a wife and husband give themselves completely to the other to experience fulfillment in marriage. This is the ideal—submission and trust to one another. And it is not easy or even desired at times, because the flesh always wants to have its way. It wants to be filled with stuff that pertains to the flesh and when there is fleshlier or fleshy things filling it, the Spirit remains hungry. And our spirits mourn to be filled with things of the Spirit; namely, spiritual food, which is the Word of God. I would ask you to examine your ingesting and digesting of God’s word, and if it’s lacking, I would encourage you to begin little by little inviting the Lord to dine with you. He will surely feed you as you meditate and pray daily on His word. And He will provide for you like a husband does for his wife. For sure, the Lord is the best provider of all, for He will never leave you nor forsake you. He promises, “When our mothers and fathers forsake us, [or husbands or wives] He will take us up” (Psalm 27:10). He is both our mother, He nurtures and feeds us, and our father, He provides and takes care of us. Actually, the passage from verse 7-10 is very “filling.” May the Lord bless you and nourish you as you turn your body, heart, soul, spirit, and mind over to Him.

I am seeking from the Lord of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I am wanting my walk to line of with the word,concerning my marriage,raising children,fellowship and whether i should be seeking to continue to work. I want to hear what The Father would speak to my heart, rebuke or encouragement. Also on a daughter who’s husband wants a divorce.

Is it true or not – or is it just your fears? This is not for me to tell you, you need to seek the Lord on this for yourself, search yourself and work through fears of being cheated on/jealousy/trust issues that may blind you to the real truth beforehand, if you still feel something is wrong pray with another friend on this and then start getting some more open dialogue going with your husband.

It is really hard when we feel spiritually dry and heaven seems silent. There can be several reasons for us to be in the wilderness (aka the dark night of the soul) – sometimes the Spirit leads us there, sometimes our exile is self imposed.
I say some of the reasons not for you but for all who are in this area and also for future reference. Note sometimes it can be a mixture of things, not just one single thing going on.
1. We may have sinned against the Lord or be in the wrong place. We therefore should examine ourselves carefully and ensure we are ‘right’ with God in terms of attitudes, deeds and living and repent. As soon as this happens, and truth is encountered, many people’s wilderness periods dissapate and they are blessed again. It can sometimes take a while for us to realise what is truly there, so blind are we to our own faults.
2. Likewise it may be a self imposed wilderness caused by sulking, depression, bitterness, unforgiveness, anger etc. Ditto with this, the wilderness will dissapear when this is dealt with.
3. If you are doing a Jonah, repent and let the whale spew you onto dry land and go and fulfil your call.
4. The Spirit has led you into the wilderness – God is testing you and allowing you to be refined there in order to make you stronger in the future in order to learn how to follow the voice of the Holy Spirit alone, not to exalt ourselves or think we are anything, to despise the things and pleasures of the world compared to fulfilling our call, and to love, serve and obey God alone. (see Jesus’ temptations after Luke 4, something all true ministers will be tested with).
5. You still need to receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
6. Dealing with hurts etc and attitudes can be like peeling back the layers of an onion. Therefore what we thought has been dealt with, now comes to a much deeper level and it is time to face these feelings/attitudes/hurts etc on this level and realise what is truly there.
7. God is allowing you to see your true lack of rightousness, what bad attitudes are really there deep down in order to get rid of self righteousness and spiritual pretence in order to lead you into truth and freedom and reality and power. (pp Job)
8. It may be Satanic attack which can either be immediately fought against and won, or dealt with humbly and faithfully til a time of deliverance.(pp Job)
9. God is taking you deeper to trust and rely in truth and Him alone over experiences and feelings and sensations which can lie.
10. God wants you to know Him more and you need to press into this and make it your priority. Your vision of Him and faith needs to expand. Perhaps you need to learn to love Him for Himself and not his gifts – to love him more than life itself.
That all said it can be a really hard time. The deserts that the Spirit leads you into though should be considered as pure joy for you know you shall be made stronger and more perfect, your faith shall increase and you’ll learn to love God and rejoice in him alone. God is showing you Himself – what a blessing, what a joy! And be privelidged God loves and trusts you enough to take you this way as many Christians will not ever get past first base.
I am seeking a word from the Lord. I have had many failed relationships & marriages in the last thirty years. Recently this Summer, the Lord ask me to set aside a year, to abide, learn more and just delight in spending time with him. He ask me to not date or party or to do anything that represented meeting others and getting involved in more relationships. Just be with him and trust him for my direction and provision. I am doing this, this is part of a spiritual house cleaning as well. So, I would like a word from the Lord, from a prophet like yourself as to my direction. Hello Prophetess: Hope things are going well for you and your family. Thank you so much for taking the time to give such a detailed response to me concerning what I’m going through. It really caused me to stop and take a spiritual inventory of myself. My deepest desire is to keep a clean life that is pleasing to God. It could be a self-imposed dryness that I’m experiencing. I’m confused about some things these days. I had so many experiences with God where he showed me a lot of things. I decided one day to ask him what was my true calling. He did not respond for about a week and then suddenly one day he showed me in a vision. I was really overwhelmed. After he showed me, it seems as if he stopped dealing with me altogether and it began to bother me deeply. I wondered why he would show me and then leave me alone. I don’t know the next step. The reason I said it may be self-inflicted is that maybe I should simply be praying from day to day instead of worrying about it. I guess this all means that God moves on his own timing and the timetable is his job and not mine. I don’t really know. However, I’m trying hard to come out of this even though it seems difficult these days. I have had spiritual dryness before but it seems so hard to come out this time. Hope that you will pray for me about this situation. God richly bless you and your family. I pray that God will bless you so much that you will not have room to receive – you are a definite blessing and very valuable to the Body of Christ.

I know I posted before to someone on this site, that if you do not know your specific calling or the next step, then go about doing the general calling you know to be true for all Christians, and then specific revelation may follow if you allow time to wait on God, but do not get caught up on totally on this one answer as your life is about more than your calling and if it does then your focus has gotten skewed as God cares about the present far more than the future – for those people whose eyes are always on the future, tomorrow never comes, and it can be a great diversion tactic from employing energy in the present.
You say you were overwhelmed at the vision. May you have been doubting or fearful or disobedient with what you saw? Is there anything you can do to prepare for what God showed you?

Healing the Hurt: how did it go?
seekerofwisdom (post 104): I am so sorry to hear of the things you have been though. I am going to answer the first few questions in my own knowledge and wisdom then show you what the Lord speaks directly but please listen to both as I feel both are true.
I do not know if you read my post to Carol (post 226) where we talked about hard times bringing us closer to God. I know it can sound trite when others say it and we are really hurting or suffering, but it is the only real consolation I can give you in these hard times of yours.
This time can be considered a blessing as we learn to love God for WHO he is and not for his blessings or what he can give us. (You say you loved God with all your being and you thought you did – but you depended on outer things rather than himself and he now is letting you see this and your true attitudes not to judge you but for you to see and get rid of them and as per Job fall on your knees and realise you are nothing and perhaps were a bit self righteous.) We also get to know God like never before. In these kind of deserts, once we get it, and see what we need to see, it really does not matter whether the desert stays anymore or it goes, as we rejoice in God alone and all else fades – I pray you can find this truth for yourself as you’ll never be the same again – and then when we see it the desert tends to go and we get blessed again but no longer rely on the blessings or peripherals to prop up faith. Your faith gets refined for your good and to strengthen you.
I remember something like this that was written on the wall of Belsen or Auschwitz (I may quote it a little wrong but the gist is right): ‘I believe in the sun even when it does no shine, I believe in the rain even when it does not fall…I believe in God even when heaven is silent.’ Even in the midst of this suffering, His people knew that God had not fallen off his throne and his saints still loved him.
I understand this totally but please let this go and repent of this.
Ok but forgive him and let go of this attitude. As you love him, see the differance in him as he starts responding and opening up to you and God again. Be all you can be, whether your husband follows or not, and if necessary in that regard be the ’spiritual covering’ for the family, or better still let Jesus.
That’s my opinion over. I saw a vision for you and you were sitting at a table in your camper and there was not much food on the table. However I saw a one dollar bill, and it reached across the table between your hand and your husband’s, and somehow it stretched like elastic all the way across the table. I understand this to mean that although you have little, God is still in it and the provision of this little and will enable what you have to stretch to meet your needs. What you have will supernaturally somehow stretch to meet what you need, and God is just as much in that ’stretching’ to make ends meet as he is in pouring money from heaven. That is the immediate word re money.
However saying that, I feel money in the future will get better and you will get out of the camper into living in a building. I know at the moment it feels like looking for light at the end of a long tunnel to get you and your loved ones out of your current circumstances, but remember keep on walking to the light, as light is assuredly there and things will get better. I also see temptation coming to make quick money by sinning – please don’t. I urge you not to and to stay strong.
As to your husband, I do see another job coming up for him in the future with better money (but not right away). I then saw him walking into a music shop connected with this, and it looked like he was dressed smartly in a suit and had music samples or something inside a case. Not sure if you can understand this now, but ponder this, as I see it.

Your questions are hard to properly answer from a distance, letter, internet or phone, or even a one off visit to you, not because I do not know what is going on, but in order that you could adequately take in what I am saying without possibly misunderstanding and taking things personally and getting hurt or upset or fearful. You need someone you can lean on at this time ‘in the flesh’ around near where you live. You really do need having somebody ‘hands on’ to deal with you to dry your eyes and pray for you and be around for you over a longer period – so this requires pastoral support beyond a prophet’s insight.
If you cannot get this pastoral support from your present church, please ask them to ask around for you for people to help from outside, another church. This really does require somebody there in the flesh to deal with you and give you a smile and a hug and reassurance – not because God cannot do it from a distance, but for YOU, to make you feel better and secure and there is more than this issue going on for you that God wants to deal with.
I am reluctant to therefore tell you what I can see because of the above, but then I also realise that your church does not have the insight to deal with this which is a great shame and I cannot leave you alone in your need, or worse being led astray by people thinking what is happening is godly. Therefore I will give you the insight alone which is not enough but please you MUST pass this onto your pastoral team so they can pray with you or find others who will pray with you.
What you say is happening to you is absolutely not coming from God and His Holy Spirit. God does not lead you or anyone into this sort of fear or this experience and let’s just say something is having a laugh at your expense. It is NOT God. It is unclean because of what you see and hear and is thus an unclean and lewd spirit. I think it is coming and attaching itself from a familiar spirit (like the slave girl in the book of acts who had a spirit of divination), probably coming through past sexual contact because of what you claim you see and hear. You need to get freed and disenttached from that, and be cleansed and healed of prior sexual stuff (even if not caused by your will and fault such as things happening through abuse, it still affects you). Then get somebody to be able to teach you about discernment (read the articles on discerning dreams if you have not already) and learn about testing the spirits and what true prophecy is about for the future and generally know the word of God better. (Your dreams so far mentioned are not from God either.) Some of this info you can learn here, but you need people to actually pray with you on this to minister.
I believe God wants to heal you deep down and has allowed you to experience what you have in order to ask for ministry so you may be healed of any past stuff and be made stronger and be less of a ‘victim’. I do see you feeling very vulnerable and weak and quiet and unable to properly fight and stand up for yourself cos of what has happened to you in the past, and God wants to heal you and make you right cos this is not your true character. It is like I see it as somebody (symbolising your past) holding down your arms tight to your side because there is this binding there making you feel ‘powerless’ and weak and vulnerable to people and things….and men even now. You do not need to be a victim any more helplessly pushed back and forth by the tide.
I hope this helps. It is probably not what you wanted to hear, but believe me you will feel better when released from these burdens and false visions and will be able to focus on the true instead. God means it for your good. The truth sets you free. Please understand it this way rather than focussing on the negative of what brings you to receive this ministry in the first place. There is no need to fear, but rather be at peace and rejoice for the great work of healing that God wants to work in you to make you strong and whole. God is wise to have allowed such a thing to come to pass in order to heal you. Bless him! Bless you.

Since coming to this website, I have been blessed. I recieved everything you have said and spoke into my life.
I must say that the journey has begun when I actually started being a hearer and a doer of the Word Of God.
I was one to always give a Word and was accurate but never did any of the Word’s God spoke to me or through someone else. I too, was molested, abused (mentally, spiritually, sexually, and physically). These things plagued my mind and my spirit and I have been hiding behind that for YEARS!
Now I am at a place and a season of healing. I used to think it was ‘highway robbery’ for me to have healing. I only longed for it for others and not myself. Now instead of me prophesying or “patheticizing” (I say that because my spirit was pathetic in that it rejected God’s word), God has me at Psalms 91:1 and 27:5. God spoke to me and said that “I need to hide in him!” He told me not to hide from the “enemy” because his word already says to “Let God arise and let HIS enemies be scattered.” So he began to tell me to hide in His presence where there is COMFORT. Then he told me that He wants me to dwell in Him and He in me.
So now this is the point for me to be quiet, stop looking for approval, stop prophesying in the wrong SEASON, and FOCUS on JESUS, my healing, and myself. God resently said that “How can I love my neighbor as myself if I can not love me!” My love for myself is a reflection of how I love GOD!

I’m praying you can clarify for me what is God’s will in my present situation. My problem is that I stopped supporting the Christian School that my child attended because I felt that the environment was moralistic, clubbish, and sending a pharasaical message to it’s students. Since then I have been severely criticized and ostracized by the Christian community in my city. I am finding it harder to ignore and forgive and keep my focus on God. I do not want to be a rebel, I want to be obediently loving and forgiving even though it is not returned. Am I needing to repent or do something to resolve this (it’s hard to imagine how, there are so many people involved). It makes sense that I should, but the animosity from them is so strong it makes it very hard for me to want to talk with them when I see them (and they aren’t receptive). I have asked the Lord many times for His direction, I fear that I have heard it and am unwilling to recognize it. The hurt runs deep, I fear bitterness, and worse yet, that I am being displeasing to Father. Your guidance is needed.

I am not entirely sure what you meant by prophesying in the wrong season, as it is the Holy Spirit who speak through any true prophetic person, and if He gives a message it is your duty to be a faithful messenger regardless of the season, perhaps you mean more what your focus is on and your attitude is about?

SDJC: if you are confused you ought to get the person that said it to you to explain better, but my perspective is for them to say you have ‘many ministries’ to me sounds very off (meaning they spoke in the flesh and not in the Spirit), as you only have one ‘ministry’ (albeit sometimes with multiple gifts and outworkings), and it also sounds a bit off to say ‘take it or leave it if you want it’….. I think they mean your life can influence others. But that being said, can’t we all if we speak the truth and do right?

Please pray for me. I need to be delivered from people. I have trust issues. I got saved in 2001 and experienced a fire within me. A hunger for the things of God. Sought to understand his word and be connected with like minded believers. Knowing that change is a process, I sought the guidance and prayers of a couple of prayer partners and “church folk”, only to be faced with a betrayl of confidence through gossip, and judgement. I began to take my eyes off God because I couldn’t get past the hurt. So I began to tell myself that I am the church, and I can fellowship with God when I get ready. I’d read the bible, and then began to alternate the bible with other new thought type reveletory books, Spiritualism, and cultural traditions, straying further and further away from what I once knew deep down to be true about who God was-and ultimately found myself very Confused, Lonely, Alone, Depressed, and feeling like I’ve gone so far I can’t see my way back. I have been to church maybe 3 times in the past two years. Time and circumstances have moved me to a different area and I am considering looking for a church home, but I have for the past two years operated in and told my teen age kids to have an open mind, think for yourself, Don’t be brainwashed-get to know God for yourself. How do you undo that? I have no friends, and no one to talk to that I can trust with this. I feel as though my heart is hardened, and I know I have some deep rooted bitterness and resentment issues and honestly, I’m not sure how to show myself friendly. I work hard and I’m good at what I do. Privately, I operate in solitude. I plan to go to a church this Sunday for the first time in a long time in a willingness to let go, and let God restore.
But I feel like I ran away from home, jumped over the back fence and ran down a long path. But I’ve been gone so long that the path back is not there any more, and I can’t see my way back.

I was wondering if you could ask the Lord to shed some light on something for me.
Two years ago I went to sleep one night and found myself in another place that resembled a very large cavern or tomb. I knew I was actually there and was really rather bothered by it in the “i’m not supposed to be here” kinda bothered. As I walked in this cave/tomb I came across a slab of rock where a man was lying. I walked over to the man and looked down at him, the slab was maybe waist high, and saw that it was Jesus and that He was dead. The eyes had begun to sink in and it was a dead man for sure. I was bothered by this and said under my breath that this could not be right because Jesus is alive.
Just then I heard something behind me and as I turned to look deeper in the cavern I saw many more slabs of rock with a large number of men on them, so many bodies that they seemed to go farther than I could see into the darkness of the back of the cave/tomb. I walked over to the body nearest the dead jesus and looked at the man that was lying there. I thought I knew him somehow or that he was important, he looked crazy, out of the desert kinda look. I’m convinced now that it was John the Baptist. Big fur shoulder piece and a giant piece of leather that went around his waist to keep the fur on. On closer examination I saw that he was not actually a dead body, but kind of praying in his sleep with his fists clenched tightly, white knuckled.
At that moment John and all of the other bodies sat up and looked past me towards where the dead jesus/fake jesus was laying. I turned my head as well to see that a man that looked nothing at all like the body I had seen earlier was sitting on that slab. This was Jesus Christ, and he looked so normal, He even had a little bed head where His hair kinda was higher on one side than the other, maybe from the wind or lying down or something. His smile was alarming, and He raised His arms out wide and said with a grin “I am so full”
There was nothing I could do to stop myself from falling on my knees, and I could see all the other men around me did the same thing. I opened my mouth and I saw something visible like musical notes on water flowed from my mouth towards Jesus. What came out of me was part of me somehow.
It was in that very moment that I came under attack and all sorts of vile things and images came into my mind, the interesting thing was that in these new images I was in some sort of twisted church. I became very angry, I was just looking into the face of Jesus! How dare they! That’s all it took, I think the only thing I said was “I want to see Jesus again” and there I was back in the cave/tomb, alone with Jesus.
When I returned I was physically closer to Jesus than the previous part of this dream/vision/visit…and we were almost lounging if you will on a couple of these rock slabs that were near each other. During the first few seconds I examined His earthly body until I came to His eyes…and I had to look away. When I did, the thought that I reminded Jesus of someone came into my mind so I asked Him if I did in fact remind Him of someone. He said yes, though I don’t recall his lips moving. I knew then who it was, and asked Him if I reminded Him of Judas Iscariot. He said yes.
I looked back down towards His chest and sat there dumbfounded. My mind was blank, and then I saw His right hand move towards me and He touched my left side right under my ribs with His pointing finger. I felt something I can’t describe rush out that finger and through my body. A ripple maybe, like a stone in a pond. It drove my face upwards and I screamed as though I died.
I opened my eyes and I stood before a mirror on the cave/tomb wall. I was looking at myself and putting on a tie. I could actually see a dream approaching from my right, and I needed the tie on for the dream. I kept telling myself to never forget, others won’t believe you but never forget, it was real, you met Him, He is alive.
I woke up later that morning and I was changed, Jesus was alive, He lives.
…I wanted to tell of another event a year later. I had been reading about some of the false prophets and false tounges stuff just a bit ago and I just want to say that I have never spoken in tounges even though I desired to. I have never fallen out under the power or even had a shake. I had been attending a Pentacostal church in Sarnia, ON during many of the revival services that were being held early 2006. So many guest speakers…so much excitement. Basically I came under pressure by some of the deacons because I didn’t speak in tounges(I was not a member of the church)I said I would love to speak in tounges if I could but nothing ever happened no matter how many times I had hands layed on me. My wife and I knew there was way too much hype going on, it just didn’t feel right after awhile. Basically I had never wanted tounges for the sake of tounges, I wanted the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, Dunamis Power from on High. One night I went forward during a time of prayer intent on getting it. I had been meditating on God being good and giving us His spirit like a father gives his kids bread when they ask you know? So I earnestly asked for it…and then I began to sweat, at least I thought it was sweat. I began to smell anointing oil, and then I realized that oil was pouring down my head into my face! I looked around to see who poured it on me but there was no one within 10 feet of me. It was so thick on my forehead that I began to wipe it with my hands and when I looked at my fingers they were covered in oil, and the oil was full of gold dust.
We just moved back to Toronto from Sarnia 4 months ago. I went through a horrible relapse in selfish living that I only came out of 4 or 5 days ago. Please, I don’t even know what else to say. I just want to be like Him.

Wondering what God says about this (post 274): May I suggest a couple of things for you to do? You already know now some of what needs dealing with, and why, so let me suggest you obey God and deal with them and then if you want to come back here and ask God for more insight? In this way we can (probably) get you deeper insight and clarity and also God will be pleased with you as you then have proven yourself a doer as well as hearer of the word.
I think you know the path is still there, yet you just need someone to confirm it is so and the way back. You are right that the way back will be helped by getting fellowship with other believers again but before coming back to church we must come back to God (or we can do so at church but coming back to church is not coming back to God in itself – you can be at church but be a long way from God still, God is at the end of the road not church!)
1. You admit you have read a lot of garbage (eg on new thought and spiritualism) which has caused you confusion. Repent and ask God’s forgiveness for following pagan ways, renounce any false beliefs you have taken aboard (asking God to reveal any you do not realise) and ask God for cleansing and clarity, removing any fogginess and confusion. Then rededicate yourself to Him. This act in itself will remove a lot of the fogginess and confusion and free you and lighten you up. I also suggest chucking out any garbage in your house.
2. You admit you have been hurt and felt betrayed, forgive them from the heart, and where you cannot ask God to help you, and ask God to forgive you for any unforgiveness and bitterness and resentment and anger and pride and hardness of heart that may be there and cleanse you of it. Ask forgiveness for wrong attitudes as well as forgiveness for any wrong actions (eg excluding yourself)
3. Ask God to soften your heart, the way to soften a hard heart is through repentance and then allowing the Spirit of God to change you and renew you afterwards
4. Understand that wherever possible we must fellowship with believers (or we suffer) and no church is perfect.

You don’t that is true! The Bereans are called noble minded for they thought for themselves and examined the scriptures to see what Paul was saying was true. You cannot live off anybody else’s faith, you must establish your own opinion, and humbly test what you are being taught – always against scripture. This is right.

I have been praying about this and can’t understand what is meant by it- particularly the ” owl and the pussy cat” dancing by the light of the moon. I’m sorry, this is really confusing to me. Could you elaborate a bit, as to why you used those words?
Also, the throwing the “orange fribee in expectation that it will come back to me”. Is this a positive thing to anticipate?

Handmaiden: it means in times of less light, or even a differant light to what we are used to, we can still dance (or rejoice in God) as often we see a differant aspect to Him at ‘night’ (the darker times) than during the ‘day’ (when all is going well and we can see perfectly), it can be a beautiful thing indeed therefore to thus ‘dance by the light of the moon’ as we get to know God better and become more rounded and our faith becomes perfected. Trials of faith can produce something really beautiful – not just at the end result when we come out of it, but while we are in there.
Yes it was a positive thing to anticipate to get back.

But I sure like it when He is giving me the sun in brightness. Makes it easier to understand- But I wouldn’t be so stretched in my faith then. Guess the scripture “the just shall live by faith” is very true.
I’ve got to remember what Peter wrote when he said don’t be surprised by your firey trial. We are supposed to know that trials will be firey because the word tells us that- but just as the Lord was in the furnace with Daniel, He is in the furnace with us as well.
…and gold is supposed to be produced from the trials- so that’s a good thing to be reminded of.

The dream i had last night..I was some people walking down a street and the street was light up there was poles that had light in them from top to bottom and up on the line was a vine that was red and it had red cherrys and there was a person that was dress in white was that one that was placing the cherrys at the end of the vine. and the house was all white and in the dream i could feel me wondering why the houses was all white and the lights was on in every house and then we came to a store it look like a country store and it had prices on the products in the window and i ended up in my house which was also white..and an old lady came by and ask for me and i came onto the porch and invite her in and then i heard me saying to her that only when the anointing is upon you you can ask God for anything then the room was fill with this light and i realize the anointing was on me and the people was bending and lending over in awe and i started calling out my husband name for healing and then i was calling out my children and people names and then the women said now i know that this is truth and i woke up

Thanks for sharing your dream. I have to question its source though as it contains false ideas and shows your own misunderstandings – it indicates therefore it was of the flesh and not the Spirit.
This is absolutely not true. It is a false belief that you need to rid yourself of and repent of, and shows a misunderstanding and corrupted gnostic teaching of what is and is not ‘the anointing’, as well as misunderstanding prayer, spiritual authority and God’s will. There are a lot of these false teachings in pentecostal and word faith circles but they have no part in God Himself and are untrue distorted and twisted gospels that you need to ‘unlearn’.
I encourage you to find the real truth on these matters and do some detailed Bible study about God’s will, faith, calling and spiritual authority in Christ. Then you shall open yourself to find the truth which will set you free…

I am seeking a word from the Lord. My son (who is a good man) has just been railroaded by the court system – based upon his color. Found guilty by an all white jury of a charge/crime that din’t happen, nor was there any evidence that proved anything on his part of being wrong. But because he got in trouble 4 years ago by picking the wrong firend – he has a record. It’s sad that in these days racial battle are still being fought. My son is facing 31-41 months away from his wife, 15 month old daughter and a new baby coming in May – plus that fact that he had a good paying job to take care of his family. He loves the Lord and is trusting along with me. I just need to know what the Lord’s instruction are for me (us) now.

Hi prophetees, I have been told I have a prophetic anointing, and sometimes the things I tell people come to pass, how do I know if I have the anointing or not?
I dreamt this last spring, so I’ve forgotten some of the details but the dream was quite vivid and upsetting.
I was invited to a wedding at a beautiful Victorian-era home that was to take place the next day. When I arrived at the home there was a flurry of activity, people were rushing around getting the house ready. I offered to help with the children so I took them upstairs to read a story. I believe there were 3 children and myself sitting up in bed reading from a book. Suddenly there was this horrific noise and a baby came crashing through the skylight that was over the foot of the bed. Immediately after the first baby came another, and then another baby. They were big, beautiful, plump toddlers that had been killed by their fall. I jumped from the bed and ran down the stairs for help but couldn’t find anyone but men walking around in lab coats with clipboards in one arm, calmly closing the shades of all the windows. They were impassive and indifferent about what happened upstairs, they just wanted to make sure that the shades were drawn. I was screaming but no one would listen.
I wrote to you earlier, post 261. My situation has gone from bad to worse as far as rejection from the body of Christ. I have to admit I am beyond sad, my heart is getting hard. There is no one I can talk to and get advice from physically. And I don’t know what my next step is supposed to be–go to a new church? This community is small enough that there is no place I can go without gossip following me. Help, please.

AND: I have not forgotten you (or anyone), nor does God, BUT I am under human time constraints and also in your case, my words remain the same to you as they have been before….I have given you the word YOU need. Please, I sympathize with you but I cannot, and will not, be as God to you.

I sympathise very much with you. You have followed your heart and conscience and taken a stand, and rather than recieve applause for being brave (not that you wanted this), or even have people lovingly disagree with you, you have been criticised and ostracised by the community and given the cold shoulder and maybe much worse….. I understand only too well how this feels. What has happened has probably in itself illustated you were only too right about what you said about them as even if you were wrong they should not treat you like they have. It indicates you told the truth for them to respond like this.
Because you have encountered this fallout does not mean you did or said anything wrong, it means you ruffled a few feathers and convicted people like throwing stones. It would be wonderful if people like this repented of their attitude – and some still may yet – but life tells us some will and many won’t and will persecute instead. It is generally not the world but the church religious that persecutes.
I can only say you are not alone and there are others hurting as you are in your town, and those also who have dared not speak up themselves. I also see people criticising you who actually think as you do though (they are being afraid/hypocritical though about it). There will also be some others naively living in a Christian bubble ‘blissfully’ unaware of how hurt you are about this, but your pain/wounds projects that they are intentionally treating you more ignorantly and badly too than they actually really are in reality.
It is so hard being amongst small minded and petty and unspiritual people that call themselves Christians, but that is life and the world we live in and it happens to so many other saints. People will let us down and backstab us, even supposedly spirit filled ones. It is hard, so hard though, as all you want is to be loved and accepted, and you expect more from the church…but let it go. Let all expectations of others go, and the dissapointment and keep your eyes on Jesus and whether YOU are pleasing him or not. He means this for your good.
If you did the right thing by your conscience you did not sin (even IF you were mistaken in what you thought).
However, if you are bitter and hardening and harbour unforgiveness then you have sinned in this aspect – regardless of how these people nastily continue to treat you. Go to God in prayer and repent of all bitterness and hardness and judgment (known and unknown secret sin) and ask him to cleanse you and heal your family’s wounds and give you love for your ‘persecutors’. Try to stop brooding on your hurts too, and ask God’s help in this.
Also refocus to heaven’s perspective in that see how God is pleased with you for taking a stand and learn that his approval is worth more than thousands of men. It is hard and takes faith and can be scary in this place but here our obedience and faith is tested. Now you can start depending on God and walking in the spirit instead of leaning on man, like never before.
Just love these people and carry on loving them however they continue to treat you. If you speak to them, indicate that you are aware you are not perfect yourself and that it is not a case of ‘us’ and ‘them’ but that all of you have fallen short and need to repent and be loving towards each other and not so cliquish etc. Continue to demonstrate to them the way whether they watch on or not. Bless and not curse when people persecute you for righteousness sake.
If they won’t be spiritual, go and be spiritual yourself and ‘make’ a spiritual sphere of influence around you, even if you are the only one. Continue to speak up in love and do not shut up.
It is hard when the ‘church’ reject you, but then this situation forces you to go out and ‘fellowship’ with others, perhaps even befriending or focussing on the lost more as you are forced to expand your existing circles and come out of the church ‘ghetto’ into the real world more (albeit keeping your faith). Though the ‘church’ mean it for evil, God means it for good in terms of expanding your sphere of influence, and in your personal growth too. Your church was unhealthy in more ways than you have mentioned, thank God for taking you out of it. God will support you now, even if you do not have fellowship for the time being. Try and find a new church though.
Not many people who speak up in the church do, but they feel they have to sometimes in order to obey God. You have been faithful, now keep walking in it and do not fall back.
Let this not be about you but about truth and righteousness. If it is about you, you focus on hurt and take things personally, if it is about truth and righteusness then it is a lot easier to be bolder and keep focussed on God and realise these people do not reject you, they reject truth.
Your dream indicates very much the idea of people being coldly clinical and callous and not caring, being religious on the outside and not inside, and just covering up for themselves by ‘closing the blinds’ and being hypocritical, and others being hurt also by them. However you know yourself they generally will not listen and are not interested in the truth.

It is nothing to do with if you have an ‘anointing’ or not. You have been sitting under some really bad teaching on ‘anointing’ which is all too prevalent in today’s church. It is however, about whether you have a prophetic spiritual gift or ministry or call. You will know if God speaks to you or not, as you will also know if you are called, you do not need others to tell you whether you have an ‘anointing’, neither do you need to ‘feel’ anything on you or manifest physically to be gifted, equipped or called.
Regardless of whether you have or have not operated in the real gift to date, eagerly desire to prophesy and press into God for this. But first, please I beg of you, understand better what is and is not ‘anointing’ by doing your own study in the Bible, get into the word of God much more generally, and ask God for the gifts of discernment/distinguishing of spirits too and get rid of and repent of counterfeit teaching and beliefs held to date. You have already sat under some deceptive teaching on anointing that is not biblical and if you are not careful you could be led even more astray by operating in a persuasive and convincing counterfeit gift. Almost everybody who operates in the counterfeit does not know it is so, they think it genuine, they are sincere but misled, so do not think anybody is above deception in this regard. The deciever is very cunning, do not fall any longer for his tricks and there is just so much deception in today’s church few know true from false anymore. This is because most do not know the word of God well enough, so when it is twisted they are seduced.

I am sorry you are hurt and dissapointed but I have been away from the computer for a few days. It is not a case of God not wanting to speak to you – however you feel about yourself (which is not true) – it is a case of me only having a certain amount of hours in each day to get things done – even if I worked on this every waking moment and got no sleep ever I still would not have enough time for everybody who wanted a word. I am under human time constraints but thank God He is not and has an open ear to you 24/7 and he will not turn you away. If you still want me to enquire of the Lord for you, I will, but please understand it may take a while.

Miriam, thank you. It means a lot to have Godly counsel. Rejection and victimhood have been my weaknesses, the enemy has been quite effective in his attacks in those areas. I prayed (and will continue to seek Him) as you counseled me and am believing Father-God for His strength and mercy to be an effective, fearless vessel of the Gospel of Peace.

EMCAS: I have been going through a similar scenario where I have been persecuted by a church for speaking the truth, lied about and even screamed at and physically assaulted by the church leadership! But thank God He is bigger and He will fight for you and vindicate your cause! For over a year and a half I have ’suffered’ but in that time God has blessed me so much and I have grown to love him and know Him even more, all that really matters. And He has proven to that church in his wisdom that what I say comes to pass and they cannot stand it!
But it is hard, it still hurts, and I was told just recently by a Sister – ‘let the ravens feed you’ (remember how the persecuted Elijah was fed by the ravens), and in the same way I say to you, let the ravens feed you at the time. I know what you’re going through, keep the faith…
Nicole: God allows you to go into the ‘desert’ for a reason. Please read post 226 if you have not already on this topic.
I think much more than you needing a ‘word’ from God, is you to come before God and examine yourself before Him deep within. Should it really matter at all that you feel ‘dry’ as God wants you to see that He does not alter in accordance with your feelings, and your prayers or faith in Him or relationship with him should not be dependant on a rather shallow thing like feelings of ‘dryness’ or ‘wetness’.
I am NOT negating how you feel, not at all, it is a hard and lonely place, but recognise the real potential blessing of your current situation which is to see your true spirital state, to examine yourself and to rectify any bad attitudes and shallowness or weaknesses or fears or anything else, so your faith is dependant on knowledge and not feelings or experience or blessings. When we feel hyper and pumped it is all too easy to ignore the real issues. God is calling you to Himself Nicole, He is wooing you by capturing your attention through your felt need which is actually not the real need. Through this as you seek Him (and examine yourself) He is showing you Himself that you may love Him and desire Him not based on religious mania but on reality and knowledge. Don’t miss this chance to draw close to Him in reality and to be honest with yourself and Him, to be strengthened and healed. He is doing this so you may grow. He loves you!

If there’s one thing that makes me want to ‘do battle’ is when I hear of Churchy-leaders abusing the flock. Aren’t they supposed to be recogized by the world as followers of Christ by ‘the love they have amongst them’? Hmmm. So then if they’re screaming at and beating on folks maybe they’re not really followers of Christ? Seems logical to me.
And how many times have I seen this happen to people who are truly called of God.

The sincere, salt of the earth Christians are routinely attacked and labelled as “rebellious” or “trouble makers” in attempt to slience them and serve notice on others that if they speak out contrary to leadership their fate will be the same.
Miriam, I’m filled with sorrow that this happened to you. You too, EMCAS. I truly do understand how it makes you feel.
Years ago a pastor jumped all over me and did all he could not to “lay hands on me” ( thankfully his desk was between us). But he was so infuriated with me that he was literally jumping up and down and stomping his feet and flying flecks of spit out of his mouth as he told me off. Total verbal abuse. He thought I had ‘gone over his head’. Turns out I was simply following the Head Pastor’s orders. Ooops! So then when later confronted in a meeting with the Head Pastor and elders, he admitted nothing but cried. Wahhh.
Within a year he was gone in a swirl of sexual misconduct allegations. ( showed his true colors, had little love for the the flock, so….MAYbe wasn’t really a true follower of Christ? MAYbe was just some dude who kissed up to the right people and got himself a position when there was no one better to choose from? Many times we really don’t know how those in authority actually got to be there. Be surprised by nothing.)
Hang in there Miriam and EMCAS. Like Miriam shared, God blessed her during the season proceding the attack. EMCAS, let HIM do the same for you.
He will be faithful to care for and feed His “little flock” travelling the ‘narrow road”.

All I have to say is I’m pretty terrified to write this petition. I Fear God pretty intensely these days. Almost a year ago, my faith was in a different place. I was pretty confident in my ability to hear from the Lord and rested pretty nicely in that wisdom offered. For years, I’ve had dreams some weird, some neat, some dark, some light. I’ve had spiritual attacks and of course when I would seek God out more they would cease for a time. Well, when it came to allowing God to use me in leading my boyfriend to Christ, let’s just say I got ambushed by darkness. I got my butt wooped all over the place. Good news is, he’s a believer now.
Bad news is listed below.
I went through months of very little sleep and slowly but surely these numerous attacks have wittled my confidence and faith. More so, my standing with God all together. Every attack I was asking for his help, rebuking in the name of Jesus Christ and the attack would eventually stop, but the next night I would get hit again.
I’ve looked up everything on spirititual warfare and have done the best I could with asking for prayer, to repenting of all my offenses against God and anywhere I gave the devil a legal right in my protective hedge and then asking the Holy Spirit to chase out whatever may be tormenting me.
I am ashamed,scared, and just beat up. My confidence is shot. I now have a problem trusting anything spiritual. I feel everything is suspect. I can’t trust myself to discern anything properly. I have no idea if Satan is talking, me, or God. I have been reading over your site for some time and feel that your foundation and doctrine are sound and thoroughly researched.
I miss God. Have I failed so miserably? I’m scared that I won’t be able to do what he ask because I’m so weak and selfish. I’m afraid to hit the “Submit” button. But I really hope he hasn’t turned his face from me. I hope my heart isn’t so hard it can’t be fixed. I’m trying to prepare myself for God’s smackdown.

Thank you, I have read the response over and over so that it will sink in. I do need to be honest with myself and God (even though he already knows) about sins in my life. This morning while praying I confessed them to him. Does God show you anything for my future?..I am not sure what direction he wants me to go in, it is like I don’t trust anyone anymore. I used to listen to alot of preachers on TV, I’ve had strong women of God around me..but now I have none of that. Dear Prophet, I don’t know who to trust.I hear alot that God loves me but I wish I could get it from my head to my heart.

I wanted to just say this to you all, please do not just wait to see what God is saying through Miriam (she is a real prophet), but while you wait on God to speak a word; you get on your knees and pray, worship, and meditate. God may speak a word to you. I sense that so many are looking for a word (which is good and great) but they are not seeking God for themselves. While you are on here do not get impatient or frustrated because you can not get a word right away. Wait I say on the LORD! God wants for us to worship Him while we wait on His Word! We have to be like “God if you never speak a word…I will wait on You!” Remember that Prophetess Miriam is a human with family and other duties! She can be bumbarded with life like we all are! Please christians lets mature and wait patiently on God. He (Jesus) wants to make us eagles and give us eagles wings!

In the Bible, the 3rd letter of John is addressed to Gaius, who possibly had pastoral responsibility. He is instructed to support and entertain those who come as God’s messengers. There is also a warning to Diotrephes about his lack of co-operation, and John seeks to personally deal with this fellow. In JohnIII vs. 10 & 11 it says: “So when I arrive, I will call attention to what he is doing, his boiling over and casting malicious reflections upon us with insinuating language. And not satisfied with that, he refuses to receive and welcome the (missionary)brethern himiself, and also interferes with and forbids those who would welcome them, and tries to expel(excommunicate) them from the church. 11 Beloved, do not imitate evil, but imitate good. He who does good is of God; he who does evil has not seen (discerned or experienced) God (has enjoyed no vision of Him and does not know Him at all.) Amplified Version
My, there’s nothing new under the sun. Just as ol’ Diotrephes was refusing and casting out those sent of God…his modern day sons and daughters faithfully carry out his ways. Notice that John did say he would call attention to what Diotrephes’ mess. I’m not reading that he was advising Gaius to “just love” and “touch not mine annointed”.
All said just to encourage you today; if it happened to the new testament saints of old, we can expect it to happen today. Bless you Miriam for not allowing that attack to destroy you and instead you sought refuge in our magnificent, loving God. And now you’re here blessing and teaching many through your blog!

Hard to understand the blindness and hardness of heart that happens when Christians sell out to the lesser gods of man’s approval and man’s doctrine. WHY is it so hard for us to be completely His? Why isn’t God more real to us than man when our hearts testify to the reality of His Kingdom?

JJ, EMCAS & Antione: Thank you for your encouragement, it means a lot to me and has touched me deeply as I have been going through much tribulation this past week or two in particular. As always I appreciate your prayers, needed now more than ever, that I may stand firm in the faith and speak boldly etc.
God does not allow us to be pushed beyond we can bare, although we can feel we are pushed right up to the limit – the end of everything we are (inc spiritually) and everything we have, and everything we can be til we can only fall on his mercy and grace and His power. Good will prevail. However, I am glad I am counted worthy enough to suffer for His name’s sake…though like most people all I want to do is lead a quiet peaceful life.
It is hardest as the betrayal has come from church leaders I was close to who ARE spirit filled who I considered friends. They are the ones I wrote of earlier that seemed to ‘turn’ overnight from loving gentle souls to abusive dictators when they became the new pastors – the power obviously went to their head and there is a spirit of control in that church they came in alignment with. It is ‘easy’ to understand unenlightened religious phraisees, non spirit filled people, people from other denominations or satanists persecuting you, but your own brothers, that cuts deep and is harder to understand as you want to think that everyone will desire truth as much as you do, will love God as much as you do, which of course is not true. One dear old lady, a senior member of the church (who considers herself a prophetess) turned to me and said: ‘Surely if what you were saying were true (that the leaders lie, insult, mock and abuse and bully the flock and keep them down with an ‘us and them’ mentiality), then they would be convicted by the Holy Spirit.’ I could almost have laughed a hollow laugh at her naiveity and ‘bubble mentality’ if she were not so sincere and serious. She then blinked at me sweetly and said, ‘I have been here 25 years and never seen the things you have mentioned….’
I looked her in the eyes and held her hand and said gently: ‘You’d think they would be convicted and repent, you’d hope so, but not everyone loves the truth or acts righteously all the time…’ I replied, ‘The leaders’ sins are sweeped under the rug in this church and covered over here with zero repentance and accountability – whitewashing the cracks in the walls ignoring all the faults – and perhaps therefore consciences are corrupted and people are no longer convicted as truth is not revered and deception rules. This is what happens when people walk the pathway of sin, it becomes easier and easier to justify and feel right. And also, with all due respect, you do not know what goes on here as you had no clue what they have done to me and many more people than I have been hurt and absued and they just packed up and left without giving their reasons perhaps even thinking they were in the wrong.’
This dear lady did not want to even consider the truth. She loved the leaders – as I do – and could not consider that ’spirit filled’ leaders could or would do any wrong – even though they were screaming at me and insulting me and lying about me in her full view as well as just haven physically assualted me!!! She was asleep bless her and been under it so long she no longer knew black from white. She jumped to her church and leaders defence automically without even considering the possibility they were wrong, and I was the big bad enemy who must be silenced who dared to speak the truth! She was a faithful church member and her eyes were closed to the truth, she was a dear sweet soul, but decieved. Wake up church, take the rose tinted spectacles off, be shrewed as snakes but innocent as doves. Otherwise, what makes you any differant to the church in Nazi Germany who revered their leaders and the Nazi government and submitted to their authority, and believed that their press would never tell lies or propoganda. Not all leaders are abusive, there are good ones still, but the truth is many are abusive and the truth is also that many church members let them be as they refuse to face facts and reality. Call to a reality check, if your church lie and abuse call them to account!
Nicole: the whole point of this time, is God taking you to Himself so you will trust Him. You depend too much on other people (we all can), and let them (and not God) carry you, relying on their perceived strength, but your crutch must be Him Himself and He must be your focus and source! Many people without even realising it have second hand faith, that is knowledge or supposed anointing passed down from preachers without personal encounter and knowledge for themselves. You must have your own faith not built on man or feelings or experiences or others ‘anointings’ and continue to walk in it. Trust no one but God Himself, that is the point. He is jealous and wants you to ‘get’ this before anything else, that is continual genuine relationship with Him that is deeper than feelings or manifestations etc. Once you ‘get’ this, anything else will flow. Your future is in Him.

You need to take some time off from the internet and even church and pray to God for some things. I know this internet thing is draining to you which can effect your family and yourself. I know about abuse…you know about my situation with church people and leaders. I encourage you to seek God’s face…I fill a spirit of witchcraft with is control over you. That is why I bound that demon! Control is something that many leaders abuse and misuse.
Antoine Taylor: I have taken time out recently and also obviously prayed and will keep on doing so. You are right about the withcraft and contol, there is a ‘witch’s cauldron’ operating in that church. They know I am onto them which is part of the reason this flack has been so intense.
Yeah…I knew I felt something right! What you do is rest in the safety of God Almighty! Read Psalms 91:1 and 28:1-5. God says that when your enemies offend you they offend Him! Remember to let God arise and let His enemies be scattered!
God is taking you to another level of perfection (something christians stop praying for). Your next level is for the nation. You have a national prophectic minsitry not for just internet! You will be called to regions! That is why “HE” allows you to go through but you are not in Distress! All things are working for your good! You are at your church to pray and minister to the lost their in due season God is going to call you out!

I remember having a dream running a race and being ahead but oftentimes something would come up and approach me while running, I would stop to do this thing and continue running. At the end of the finish line there were people waiting for me. I was once ahead of the race in the dream but when getting to the end of the race I realized I fell behind but did finish with people waiting for me.
Those things that come I realize is a hindering spirit that comes through different business opportunities, people, etc. to get me off track from my focus on Jesus and or the things of the Kingdom. Yes, I finished the race, but I was once ahead and fell behind.
I do desire to do the will of God,the place of employment where I am, I no longer want to stay and obvious the Enemy knows this and tries to distract me. I know God is leading and directing me and desires the best for me, I’m just wanting to know what is it he would have me to do as my job while on running this course until he moves me into full time ministry.
Yes,I’ve been with the same employment for 7 years and God has blessed them so through the servant of God being there, I released a Gospel cd in 2002 which I sometimes go out and minister through music on different platforms, I do evangelize the streets with my church, and raise funds for the less fortunate with the finances God gives me to put toghether Major Concerts and fundraiser events at Walmart and Car washes, etc.
I’m not tired of giving but I desire through him to move forward into a business or something. I feel like the company I work for does not want to compensate me along with other things.
I started working for there first company, I’m now working for their 2nd company, and lately the owner recently mentioned a 3rd company they desire for me to work for.I make basically the same salary + comm.,No increase in salary or comm. But he tells me I would make more on straight salary, The devil is a liar. I know thats not true. This is what he says, now that I bring up the subject of increase in salary. He wants the benefit of what I do for the company but does not want to compensate me.

At this point i just need to here from God, because i have made a mess of my life. At my age i feel that i still do not have direction but, i am trying to direct my son Joshua who just graduated. Myself and my children know the Lord. And i do have a relationship with him. But i work 13-14 hrs. a day and by the time i get home i am to tired to pray and just go to bed. For years ihaveto take medication to sleep,for hypertension,depression. I dont know about the job that i have. Please pray for my son Joshua my daughter Elizabeth and my son David. I do not want to take all this medication anymore because i want to here the Lord clearly. And even threw all that i do that is wrong, i can still here hime and feel him. Prophetess/ prophet, before Christ saved me, I turned down a Mega Record deal in NY, I turned down 10,000. from a music producer who wanted to purchase my old music. I’ve said No, to many money making opportunities, because I want Gods divine plan and purpose for my life. My focus has always been on Jesus, Souls for the Kingdom, and raising funds for the less fortunate.

Dear sister, When Elijah went into the cave to escape from Jezebel in fear of his life, he obviously was not “under” the annointing or else he would not felt the need to flee but would have determined to STAND against her manipulative spirit. i have been “hiding in my cave” since an attack and i am dying for lack of water and a crumb of bread to eat, i cannot see, hear, or understand what His Spirit is saying, the presence and annointing of His Holy Spirit that was Life and Truth has been taken and i am lost and in darkness, where do i go from here? if i had wings like a dove i would fly away, i know His promise to me and all of His children that He will never leave or forsake us but the darkness is trying to destroy who i am in Him and there is noone who comforts my soul. My own daughter and someone who i thought was a sister in Christ has rebuked me for standing against a lying, manipulative spirit in our church who presented himself as a Messianic Jew from Russia and decieved our pastor and entire church family for his evil purpose. She raised her hand to me and kept telling me i had better watch out because i wasn’t walking it out right and that i had been given too much too fast, i know she was under a spirit of delusion believing this man of “god” was who he said he was when everything was a lie, everything! i have repented of any and all unforgiveness for the sake of Christ and what He has donefor me and i know this was the enemy destroying what Abba has purposed, why has He been silent, i have asked and cried and prayed for help and if i am being punished and chastened this i accept. Read the Word of God daily, exalt him in songs of praise and worship,repent, consecrate yourself on a fast and he is sure to speak to you.You may even obtain a prayer partner, remember 1 can put a 1,000 to flight but 2 can put 10,000 to flight.

The word declares that God watches over his word to perform it.

I have clearly and actively encouraged Antoine to minister with what God gives him NOW, and he can very much be a blessing now and of course he should get on and do the work of the kingdom NOW without seeking prophetic words to release him. However, I personally believe (based on revelation) it is also true that he is not ready to be launched into full time or more ‘full-on’ ‘prophetic’ ministry, I base this on what God has revealed to me about what Antoine still needs to learn before taking any such a platform (if he does) based on his own assumption and good ideas rather than clear calling. It is about learning to walk in the spirit over flesh, and avoiding fleshly presumptions and good ideas. This is not my own decree but what I understand to be God’s for Antoine. He needs to discern better the Spirit’s leading over good ideas and running ahead of God – and with all due repect both I and Antoine know this is one of his ‘faults’.
As for you, I think you have come under too much false properity teaching. It is true God gives us the desires of our heart but that is when we delight ourselves IN HIM (for himself and nothing else), which in itself will alter our desires and our focus anyway. I understand your concerns and worries, I do not think you to be shallow at all, but you are focussed on materialistic/wordly things too much and again I will call you back to that scripture I gave you and make everything within you focus on that and that alone and the way will then become clear to you. Let God and not the blessings and money guide you. Be like George Muller in that regard, go where God is and let the blessings follow, not follow the blessings!

The biggest surprise for some of God’s saints when persecuted, is that they are not always wrapped around in a load of spiritual bubble wrap and are not immune to it. Sometimes there are miraculous deliverances or healings but many times they still suffer on some level. The saints can get hurt by persecution physically, emotionally, mentally, sometimes even spiritually for a time. The apostle Paul was almost blinded by the stones thrown at him and suffered throughout his life then on with eyesight problems. Stephen, of course, died, his body broken by the stones. It does not mean God is not with these people and they are not anointed though, despite the fact they suffer! My back has been put out these last few weeks as a consequence of being almost yanked apart by a pastor and a church member – my crime? for speaking the truth. The fact it is not miraculously healed (yet) and I have suffered physically, emotionally and mentally from this is neither here nor there as a sign God is with me! Saints still suffer. I consider my own suffering nothing compared to what others suffer though for the gospel, and what of course my Lord Jesus went through on the cross.
I saw a guy in Pakistan who has suffered for over 8 years for the sake of the gospel, and his mind is almost as broken as his body. He has suffered immensely and God bless him he has not retracted his confession of Christ despite everything, but God knows this man has gone right to the brink of everything he is and has and more so. I do not think this man lacks faith, anointing or the Holy Spirit, but you see there is a twisted health and wealth gospel in the modern day church that does not ‘get’ persecution or suffering for righteousness sake, so that when it happens, Western Saints in particular can be in a real dilemma!
Often the presense of God feels furthest away at times of persection and we do not ‘feel’ blessed. God allows it though for our good to press into him, to refine our faith and depend in Him over feelings and anointings, and to persist and trust in God and seek His reality. To learn he never changes even when the world around us does. Any attack from Satan is allowed by God in order to perfect us in faith, and to correct faults we are blind to while on the mountain top. Therefore consider it pure joy when Heaven seems silent and you suffer, as you know through it God is making you perfect. Press on and press through. It will not be forever like this.
I have suffered persecution and the consequent attacks afterwards where Heaven seems silent so I know what you are going through. I have also conversely suffered persecution when I have had been surrounded by tangible blessing and ‘anointing’ and peace and God’s ‘anaesthesia’ from any felt harm. Whatever you feel, blessed or not, you are still blessed, and you will come out of this stronger if you continue and perservere.
You have some really bad theology about the anointing that is all to prevalent in the church from the likes of false teachers like Benny Hinn et al. Of course Elijah was still under the ‘anointing’ when hiding – the anointing being on him as a result of his calling to ministry and his acceptance of it (as the anointing oil was placed upon a king one time only, the king did not constantly drip with the oil or have to feel it to affirm he was still king and had God’s authority. He knew it!)
The anointing was not a tangible feeling, a felt manifestation or feeling like he was walking on top of a mountain always or feeling powered up (this teaching is FALSE) – Elijah was constantly anointed (a once and for all act at his calling) as he had a calling on his life to be a prophet and knew it. It was out of Elijah’s knowledge of God and knowledge of his own calling that faith came to lead him to the top of Mount Carmel and to taunt as he did and just know that His God would answer by fire, it was not his ‘anointing’ that did this! However, like many ministers, particularly prophets, Elijah got depressed, stressed, disillisioned, discouraged fearful, doubting, felt sorry for himself, felt alone ….etc and this attack manifested right after being powerfully used by God, as it often does for many Saints. When Elijah doubted his calling or God being with Him, even a little, and let people’s words or actions get to him, then his faith and boldness weakened and his eyes were deflected from God to his own inadequacies and a pity party set in and he went into hiding.
Anointed people are still human and are not always pumped and wired and jumping with joy! The answer to Elijah’s discouragement was a revelation of God’s concern for Him expressed with some physical provision in the food and drink and the rest, not more ‘anointing’, and then the chance to unburden himself and express his concerns, frustrations and complaint to God. Then he had an encounter with God with the still small voice….. God showed Elijah it was not in the roaring wind, the earthquake, or the mighty fire but with the still small voice that He most often speaks. Like many others in todays’ church, Elijah looked for God in dramatic manifestations, power encounters or anointings. But the most important and fundamental thing – our identity – is affirmed in the still quiet voice and not noise and power, signs and wonders.
Said Charles Spurgeon: “This same lesson has to be learned over and over by us all: let us repeat it, ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord.’ It is to be lamented that the most of professors obstinately cling to the fatal error of looking for displays of power of one kind or another. I hear that a certain church is seeking for a very clever man: she thinks that God is in the wind . . . That still small voice will be hushed and silent, while the boastings of your wisdom resound like a howling wind or a thunder unaccompanied by rain…..And now the thunder ceased, and the lightning was gone, and the earth was still, and the wind was hushed, and there was a dead calm, and out of the midst of the still air there came what the Hebrew calls ‘a voice of gentle silence,’ ….”
When Elijah heard this still small voice, he immediately wrapped his face in his mantle – his mantle reflective of his calling and ministry to be a prophet for it is this he later threw over Elisha as a sign Elisha was called to be a prophet also. Thus discouraged Saints are reminded by God in the still small voice of their identity in God, needed to be reaffirmed after periods of self doubt etc. Their mantle is thus wrapped around them once again and they are sent on their way to walk in it. When the mantle is not doubted, then Jezebel can be faced head-on, as we know God is behind us.
What you need to be strong in the Lord is thus reassurance of identity/calling not anointing, and this can only be achieved through hearing and listening to and believing the still small voice over the thunder after a time when heaven seems silent. After a reminder, refocus, God then gave Elijah something to do so he could avoid excessive introspection. He needed to stop looking at himself and his own circumstances. He needed to get on with what God wanted him to do.
“Then the Lord did what perhaps was best of all for Elijah, he gave him some more work to do. He sent him off about his Master’s business again; and I warrant you that, when Elijah went back over that road, it was with a very different step from that which brought him down to Beersheba. He had come along terrified and distressed; but now he goes back with the majesty that belongs to the Tishbite, he is afraid of no Jezebel now.” (Charles Spurgeon)

Regarding Mathew 6:33 Seek the Kingdom of Heaven and all of his righteousness and all things shall be added unto you. I receive it. I am no longer going to focus in the least, about my Job and what was shown to me, I realize if God has shown this to me along with other things through prayer and Faith, God is working it out, and I will not let it sidetrack, Hinder, or worry me from continuing to seek him and giving my all to him (Jesus Christ).I will whole heartedly pick up my cross and follow him.
Too much of the prosperity messages, You may have a point, Especially after searching scripture and comparing The Word Of God against what has been deposited in my spirit from some of these false preachers/ prophets (Wolves in Sheep Clothing) in these last days. The Prosperity Message and Not The Gospel.

I am looking for directions concerning a personal relationship with a male friend. I would inquire of the Lord as to my direction in ministry as well. I know you have not heard from me in some days. I just wanted to check in to say that I am not going to start a ministry for I know that I am not ready. My heart wants to help but my spirit is not ready. If I was to go into minsitry now it will be my ideas instead of God’s words! How can I prophesy I word or take over a ministry and my heart is hurting over past things? How can I minister with malice, hate, lust, envy, etc., in my heart? I remember praying to God, trying to be deep, and I was asking for all this power and anointing. The Lord spoke to me and said: “How can you minister and prophesy under all this anointing and you yourself have issues with people you think you want to help?” I felt like “DUH!” but I received and know I am a W.I.P. (Work in Progress). So no Prophetess Miriam, I am not going to overstep my bounds. I am still learning how to discern my voice, God’s voice, and the devils! Along with getting healed from me!
BTW – Things seem to be getting better in my church but I do not know it still a funny spirit there…

I saw in a previous comment you made about Benny Hinn, Why do you believe based on the Word of God, that he is a false teacher.Has God revealed this to you? I have been prayed for by him and I can tell you that the anointing of God was present.Could it be that he has gotten some things wrong in the past? I am not testing you, Maybe there is something I am missing. And is once wrong, always wrong? They can repent as well, should we hold them to past mistakes. I mean in the midnight hour one can repent and turn , while we as Christians holds one to their past. I’ve been going through your posts and I have to know why it is that you have so many categories yet when I click on them the posts contain nothing of or make no reference to the actual category title. Sister Robin: I aim to be posting an article about Benny Hinn shortly as some good factual evidence about him has come to light to give even more proof the guy is a charlatan. (There are numerous articles on Benny Hinn around the net though already, and any neutral observer checking these facts out with an open mind would see something is seriously wrong with the guy. Just the fact the guy lives in a ten million dollar mansion should raise alarm bells for you anyway). I personally find the man extremely troubling (in my spirit), obnoxious, greedy, smarmy and a proven false teacher and a false prophet as well as a proven liar. Can someone change? Yes, undoubtedly. Do I think Benny Hinn has – for the better? No, only for the worse.
As for who I think today preaches sound doctrine, this is really hard, as who I thought to be formerly sound-enough teachers are apostasising by the truckload. People are changing around me even within a space of months, so people I could have commended last year I cannot commend today. I’d therefore rather not commend anybody so as not to lead people astray, for I cannot give an unconditional carte blanche to anybody as all can stray and the people who read this in future could be lead astray by good teachers straying without me even knowing as I do not have the time to keep checking up on teachers and prophets. I am not a constant ministry watchdog in that regard. Most famous preachers I am finding are almost all, without exception charlatans, thieves or heretics. The other ones I can agree with them in part but not in whole as they have some odd but popularist theologies.

My son Kenneth just was in a fight today at school defending his girlfriend so he was suspended and also last week him and his girlfriend thought they were pregnant and he is only 16 can you please pray for them, also when he goes through things I tend to worry so much about it, my blood pressure went high and I do not even have high blood pressure. To God be the Glory, true wisdom. If we all keep our eyes fixed on Jesus Christ and read the Word of God for ourselves, through the Spirit of the Living God, he will teach us all things. Pray people of God for an Alive Church(Holyghost with Fire) home you can attend locally. Pay your tithes and offering to your church. And only if one is lead by The Spirit of The Living God to give a offering to a Tele-Evangelist, give- ONLY THEN. Not by feeling or emotion. Because let’s face it, you don’t have to give money for healing, deliverance, a breakthrough in finances, etc. It is Faith in him and his word that moves God, not your wallet and or purse. Avoid those teachings all toghether.
Does it take money for the Gospel to go forward, No. God(Jesus) has already paid the price. But it takes money for the rental of the areanas, the lights, advertisements, the preachers pay, etc. There are many prostituting the word of God and The Gifts of The Spirit for Gain. (My God Have Mercy and restore them Father and return them to there rightful position, bring them to repentance, Lord) I think the scripture comes to mind when God say’s be careful you preach others in and you dont make it and The scripture in Rev. also comes to mind- But Lord I preached in your name, I healed in your mane, etc. Depart from me, I know you not ye worker of Iniquity. ( I haven’t remembered the scriptures exact but search the word of God Saints and read it for yourselves.
I have truly come to the conclusion Prophet/prophetess as you have said, Mathew 6:33- Seek The Kingdom of Heaven and all of it’s righteousness and all things shall be added.
These are the last days yall, And there are many Wolves in Sheep clothing- Be aware. If you are going to sow seeds into ministries, seek the Lord about where to give.

I meant this with no arrogancy or pride. I am learning to speak possitive in my negative situations. For Jesus said let the weak say I am strong and poor say I am rich. Do I am learning not to allow me to speak about my faults but speak deliverance and aim for deliverance from my faults.

I am 61 years old and have failed God so many times I feel

Broken but Healing: it makes sense what you are hearing, but the word of God does not agree with this stance at all. It says admit what sin or faults is there, confess it and deal with it by bringing it to God and repenting, trust God and look to Him for his renewal, healing and deliverance in expectant faith! However do not live in denial and say you are something when you are not.
The ‘let the weak say I am strong, the poor say I am rich’ is a differant thing entirely to denial – it is current reality for those who lean on God! It is saying I am weak in the flesh but in God will be strong as he is my source of strength, and I am rich in Him though I may lack material possessions as He is everything and owns everything so I will lack nothing….tis a differant thing from what you say.

May I suggest you read 1 John through and reflect on this? I was greatly blessed on this book last night and think it can help you also. It says (paraphrased) that if we believe Jesus came in the flesh and is God’s Son and have repented of our sins, we know the Father and are born again. We know we know the Father and the Son and do not decieve ourselves as to our sure election not by gnostic type sensationalist feelings or religious mystical experiences, but by if we shun sin and hate it, and if we genuinely love God and love others and are motivated to love others (demonstrated in activity/works as well as feelings), and if we continue to walk in this then we can have assurance Christ is in us and our election is true and confirmed. True anointing is true love as John talks of, and this anointing is not counterfeit. Any anointing that does not lead to love expressed in works or hatred of sin is not of God. All who do not love or continue to sin do not know God.
Your calling, Don, is to love – to love Jesus and your brother and to shun sin. Go do this and you will be doing the will of God and can have assurance of eternal life and need fear death and hell no longer. Be free and fear no longer!

Please forgive my words but I am not in denial: “I AM JACKED ALL THE WAY UP!
But I just “thought” that I was walking by faith. Please forgive what I was trying to say…maybe it is my zeal…I am just learning to put trust in God. But I hope that I am not in denial. I gave up giving words of prophecy or profit me (a lot of times I was out of order), trying to start a ministry, etc. because I am jacked up! I want to be right before God and want my sacrifice to be recieved like a sweet smelling savor. I too am aiming for God’s anointing. The same anointed in Isaiah 10:27 not to lay hands on the sick but so that I can be changed, and as God sees fit then I can help change someone else. Believe me prophetess, I am like a child again before God! I am fighting pride, hate, maliciousness, lust, etc. like a bull dog!
I was telling my brother in Christ that I wanted to leave my church, leave ministry, etc. because I thought I was a waste of space and was tired of the whole church scene. I am growing tired of coming to church, shouting, speaking in tongues (as God gives the utterance) but no change! So God began to deal with me about His anointing and the process of his anointing and how the church lacks this and that is why so many are lost.
So if I am not on the right track or you see anything just rebuke me so I can start my first works over. PLEASE!

That he stands on the Word. That God is God always…all ways. That God WILL send us hard times, that it will not always be goodness and light, but that we are to lean on God for ALL OUR NEEDS…No matter what.
He used to have a little song that plays at the beginning of his sermons…and it is soooo truthful…

I like the fact that Charles Stanley speaks on the Word, he is a teaching minister, EVERY WORD IN THE BIBLE IS FROM GOD.
You remind me of him in a lot of ways when you correct people as to who and what God is and is not, as to what God says and does not say.
He is all about teaching..truthful teaching of God’s Holy Word.

Oh WoW! That is what God is dealing with me on…FIRST JOHN! That is amazing! God told me that for 1. the anointing you need to be purified 2. you need to be sanctified.3. THE MOST IMPORTANT need LOVE…For God said how can you hate your brother who you see and hate God who you do not see. That is what I am focusing on. I totally agree with you LOVE IS KEY because God is love. I know that God told me one day that if I claim to have Him and feel his presence but I hate my brother and my enemies…What I am feeling is of the devil for He is love..

Yes but being humble is not depreciating or accusing yourself like that. That is a false humility a bit like that Dickens character ‘humble, humble, very humble!’ He kept saying it and telling everybody he was humble so obviously was not. The key give away here from you also is ‘trying to’.
Either you are humble and are a servant or you are not humble and need to repent and ask God to deal with your pride etc. You cannot ‘try to’ be an attitude, all though you can try and walk in humility once you ‘get it’.

WoW! You are right! I believe that pride is big thing…I guess I say I am trying to be humble is because my peers are prideful and they hurt others with their pride. I am fighting my best to not be that way…But I am still seeking to be humble sometimes I can be prideful! So I need to repent for that as well!

A.K.C (post 378): If you already ‘know’ you should not be with this man, then why do you ask God for a word on what you should do? Why do you not follow your conscience? If your conscience already condemns you, then why seek extra wisdom on it when you already know full well what is right in this circumstance? The apostle Paul says if our conscience condemns us, then we sin. The simple truth is you do not like what you ‘hear’ so do not walk in it. Any confusion or feeling of being torn is thus from your disobedience and sin, not your ‘love’ of this man or the heartbreak. If you decide to act righteously here and repent on this, then the confusion will disappear, as will any feelings or temptation in time.
Submit yourself and your feelings to God, obey Him in this, and He will bring you out into a broad space and enable you to stand firmly and strongly and put a new song in your mouth. I do not mean to sound harsh but sometimes one has to call something for what it is to free you.

I saw a vision of a first aid kit, but the box was empty of any healing equipment, and I felt the sense of inadequacy/lack/impotence there within you. I felt this summed up you, in that you desire to heal and be healed, but you lack the equipment/gifts/power.
I feel God has been enlarging and burdening your heart for healing, but in some ways (not all ways) you have sometimes acted unrighteously and sometimes bitterly as you have sometimes responded wrongly in your heaviness and gotten doubting or bitter etc as you see the emptiness there. You have been going on a journey – for truth – and I feel this sense of inadequacy and burden and inner scream and plee to the Heavens and emptiness is from God (though your response in it has not always) – Jesus is encouraging you to press in to Him, the real Him that is as there are so many false Jesuss out there, and touch the hem of his robe and feel the healing emanating from Him and then become a kind of conduit of this out into all the world.
I do feel both you and Bob will be walking far more in supernatual power, signs and wonders and miracles. But though you see this as the main problem (in that you lack it now), it is not, something else more fundamental is there that God wishes to ‘fix’ in your journey with Him first. Yes signs and wonders can be there but they are not the be all and end all and once you have ‘got’ what God is trying to teach you, you can be a trustworthy servant with the right focus – too many false servants focus on the signs and thats it, they totally miss they are signs and wonders pointing to something far greater.

Hi, my name is Rachelle Simpkins, I wrote a long letter to you earlier but lost what I had written when I bumped the mouse. I was so upset a wrote something short but regretted not taking the time to rewrite it. So now let me try again.
My husband and I have been praying for a word from the Lord. We are in the process of making a short Christian film. My husband has been an actor for many years and went to the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco about 15 years ago. We were attending a church in San Jose called the Home Church. My husband at the time was putting together a secular production with the hopes and potential of great success leading to bigger and better things. His dedication to the project became so intense and he seemed less interested in me that we butted heads and finally he cancelled the production and was very angry at me. A few weeks went by and our church was putting together a stage production and he decided to audition and was cast in some leading roles. The production was very professional and I realized his talent was genuine. I asked him to forgive me for the failure of his project. He forgave me and told me the Christian production he did meant far more to him than the secular one would have. A couple years later we moved to Wilmington, NC so he might pursue acting there as there was a film studio and a lot of productions were being filmed there. We chose it over Hollywood because we didn’t want to live that kind of life. My husband had a vision of making theatre production with film clips within the scene changes based on one of the Christian productions he did in San Jose. The problem was that film is very expensive not to mention the equipment rental. He was able to work on several films but was not happy with the content of most of them. Fast forward as digital technology and computer editing has come a long way, and is more affordable, he got the idea to make a film by purchasing and making the equipment so he could shoot the film himself. He mentioned the idea to a cinematographer friend of his who said “That’s crazy, why not do it right, find someone with the money and rent the professional equipment and make a good film”. Needless to say he was disappointed but then a couple months later his cinematographer friend called him and said “ Hey forget everything I said a church in Albany, GA did exactly what you wanted to do and the DVD is at blockbuster”. You may be familiar with the film “Flywheel” and recently they did “Facing the Giants”. This re-energized my husband and he tried to convince the church we were attending, different members but no one seemed interested enough. We prayed about it and felt like the Lord wanted us to make this film. So we decided to take out an equity loan and make the film. The week before we were to sign the papers my husband went into the hospital with a blood clot in his leg. We wondered why this happened and prayed to God asking Him what would He have us do? We thought maybe He either wanted us to get help or wondered if our faith was being tested. We involved a couple fellow Christians as partners but it did not work out, they weren’t commited and one of them was in the midst of a divorce. We prayed more and more and felt that God would provide and we should have faith in that. So here we are today scheduled to begin shooting the second week of December. I know that my husband has been called to do this and I ask for a prophetic word from you. I feel the Lord has called me to do a mighty work in His kingdom along side of this so if God gives you anything please share this with us. Thank you.

Here’s a question: In light of all the prophecies you have had on the coming judgment of the u.s and Britain, how does one then live in light of this? I know we walk by faith, but I also believe that difficult times are ahead for the church-
How does one live knowing that these things, will come? I know that many are in a state of transition and change- many who have been walking with the Lord for a while have been going thru many difficulties- perhaps in preparation for what is ahead- so that we will be strong in the midst of the storms?
Dispite knowing that these judgments are ahead, my life as well as others, seem to be in going in the opposite direction ie: new job, new circumstances etc. I feel I am in God’s will yet believing that what prophet’s such as yourself and other’s are saying.
So how do we then live, being aware of these things to come?
Thought this might also be on the minds of others as well so i wanted to post this in all sincereity.
I have always felt that I would be ministering to others during difficult times in the last days.
Any thoughts?

Things seem very bad within certain ministries of my church. I am getting tired of everything. I mean it seems like the pk’s get away with murder. Which in turn they do to us (subordinates). So if I was to leave off of a ministry I would or others would be preached on. I am tired of people….

The Lord told me (and confirmed it to me through other trusted Christians) to quit my job and do some things at home that needed to be done (organize my house, clean etc.) and then to trust on Him to tell me what to do next.
I am totally open to whatever God has for me but I am totally clueless as to what that it is that He wants me to do.

I probably shouldn’t have said that I am totally clueless about what God wants me to do. I believe that He is setting me apart for some kind of ministry but I am having a hard time hearing Him. I am an extrovert, but for the past few weeks I have been home alone all day (I’m without a car). It’s very difficult for me to be alone this much and it actually makes it harder for me to hear from the Lord.
I wonder along the same lines as Handmaiden. But I’ll add, “How does one avoid becoming fatalistic”? If this system as we know it is going down the tubes fast…how do sincere Believers stay motivated to keep moving forward? Isn’t it an exercise in futility?
I think the temptation would be for some to get depressed about it all, drop out of participating in this world and just ‘look to the hills’.
Been praying for you and thinking about you.. hope you’re well Miriam. Especially in light of those attacks.
