Prophet Bob Jones of White Dove Ministries speaks about healing
‘Prophet’ Bob Jones of White Dove Ministries (formerly of the Kansas City Prophets), when prophesying at the White Dove Conference held at Melbourne, Florida, shown on the 19th October on the God Channel, said the following about healing when encouraging the congregation to pray for the sick he had just given his ’words of knowledge’ to:
‘Lay hands upon the sick….body touches body … let the healing virtue flow out from you one to another. The healing virtue flows out of the goodness and gentleness within each of us. The blood flowing in the body of Christ will heal.’ (paraphrased).
Although prophet of the new order Bob Jones mentioned ‘Jesus’, ‘the blood of Christ’, ‘prayer’, ‘righteousness’ and ‘healing’ - that is many of the right words - the words’ meaning within their surrounding context was distorted giving what is an aberrant theology that is far removed from the true gospel of Jesus Christ. It is classic Latter Rain and Manifest Sons theology with a sprinkle of humanism. It is totally false and also deliberately obscured from the blinded faithful behind buzz words and double speak.
Body does not touch body in the context he meant. Spirit touches body to heal. It is the Holy Spirit that heals, or gives a gift of healing as He wills, it is not anything inside the minister’s own body that can heal. (In fact for Bob Jones to say this indicates just what type of occultic spirits he deals with on a day to day basis that he claims to be of divine origin as this is occult new age thought, not Christian. A spiritualist would know exactly what he is talking about: spiritual healing where things are passed on one to another through physical touch. Bob Jones has admitted that demons used to talk to him, which he claims somehow automatically changed overnight to angels when he was ‘converted’ while in an insane asylum with the now infamous testimony, Jesus told him to kill or forgive twelve people to get his mind back. The fact is, even though he uses the name of Christ demons never stopped talking to him, and he never stopped talking for them! This is apparent with how he lives his life and what he prophesies. He is not only a false prophet but a proven pervert who dared to use the name of the Lord to get a sexual kick (encouraging women to undress in his office so they could stand “naked before the Lord” in order to receive a word.) How the church still tolerates this awful man and why Rory and Wendy Alec show him on God TV is beyond me. I know they show a lot of apostates but come on, don’t you draw the line somewhere - anywhere?!)
Although we should lay hands on the sick as encouraged to by scripture, we have nothing in our body, on our hands or elsewhere other than the name of Jesus and the gift of God - the Holy Spirit - that actually heals. This applies individually - what is in our own bodies - and corporately as the church ‘body’ what is in the church. Body to body never can heal! As for our ‘goodness’ healing others - in ourselves nothing good dwells, it is only God that makes us Holy. Our goodness, our righteousness, our good deeds are but filthy rags before the Lord. Our goodness could therefore not even heal an ant. To say our inherent goodness or gentleness heals is blasphemy, deception and apostasy, not to mention blatant self righteousness. It is interesting how Bob Jones uses the words ‘healing virtue’ to justify still further the meaning that he means OUR own virtue heals others. He then twists the blood of Christ, subtlely moving the meaning of it from it having divinely paid the price for us once and for all (by Christ’s death on the cross) and thus having saving and atoning and delivering and healing power, and its effect is ’sprinkled’ upon us from Heaven in answer to our prayer and repentence, and twisted it to the blood flowing within us within the church body to give to others as we will as if it is ours to give as we are Christ. We, the body, have become Christ himself. Typical Mainfest Sons heresy. Oh, the Lord rebuke Bob Jones. I am so sickened and tired by men like him - these false prophets.
On a lighter note, Bob Jones also gave some rather interesting ‘words of knowledge’. Bonnie Jones his new wife who was ministering alongside Bob Jones said that women with female reproductive gynae problems would be healed. Bob then added to this same ‘word’ a moment or two later (making it clear it was not a new word) by saying that this was in the male prostrate gland! Hmm….how is that even possible?!!!
He also declared there were at least forty differant types of prophets including a ‘marketplace prophet’. I actually only two types of prophet - the true prophet and the false prophet - and I know exactly which category of prophet Bob Jones falls into.
I was up to my neck in bad theology from about 1984-1998 with later rain, word of faith, kingdom now theology/dominionism Earl Paulk…its all still alive and well.. I pretty much “kissed the charismatic movement goodbye” in 1998. Even Assembly of God gets infiltrated by modalism TD Jakes etc and all because of tongues. Evangelicals look at echumenicalism and the World Council of Churches and say “yuck” but we have our own issues with same, because of tongues.. Just because someone says he talks in tongues we don’t test what he says to see if its orthodox.

Also perhaps one day you could consider doing a post about why God allows supernatural gifting to be manifest inspite of bad theology. This has troubled me and I don’t have an answer for it.
There have been many times God has lead me through a word of prophecy in above churches inspite of doctrine. Thoughts? I know we see in part and we prophecy in part but I would like a better idea how this could happen. Thankyou.

There’s a few differant answers to this.
First of all there’s two supernatural sources of power, God and the devil, and I believe Bob Jones consistently demonstrates which spirit he speaks by. Many of the false prophets of today manifest in an antichrist Spirit. Scripture warns us to test the spirits and if they don’t this is what happens.
Second, God says that because people do not love the truth, he will send them a powerful delusion that will decieve even the elect….
Third, the gifts of God it is said are without repentence. That is God does not take them back. They are not dependant on thus character or theology (to some degree) and can still manifest (to some degree) even when someone backslides (though not with the same power/impact). If they required perfect character or theology to operate, nobody could use them! Look at all what was happening in the Corinthian church, yet they still operated in the genuine gifts that notwithstanding.
There are many genuine sincere people still in these churches that love Jesus but are sincerely deceieved and do not know it. Some will therefore have good and bad within them. They are Spirit filled (with the Holy Spirit) but also have false spirits around them and doctrines of demons. In some cases therefore true and false can mingle together so good and bad fruit can come out of the same Christian’s mouth by two differant spirits.
Next, God’s word still holds power so even when it is twisted or pimped, there is power still within it to speak to people truth in spite of it.
I do not know the history and specifics in your case, but it may be it was not genuine prophecy you received that you felt you were blessed by.
Lastly God is sovereign, He can use pharoah and Nebudchunezzar as his ’servants’ as well as Balaam’s ass to speak. Therefore God can speak through ungodly and apostate and greedy men and women, as He is bigger than them. I liken the situation to people may still get genuinely saved when watching Benny Hinn (or other TV evangelists), for all their slime and heresy…..but this is rather in spite of them not because of them. There is still a little truth in amongst their apostasy and sin, albeit distorted, for otherwise if no grain of truth existed in the lie then how would many be decieved by it?

SO TRUE!!
There needs to be that grain of truth. Isn’t it said ‘deception is 90% truth and 10% lie’? I guess the actual percentages can be debated, but the point is deception is effective because it ’sounds so close to the truth’.
So I went to a Benny Hinn crusade a few years ago (took my mother in law who’s a fan, not me).
And let me tell you, the salvation message he gave was one of the most direct and uncompromising I’ve ever heard. It was so good I almost got saved all over again! hehe.
And something else happened that surprised me. A man who had something wrong with his leg and was in a cast/brace went up for healing. As I was driving out of the stadium parking lot, I saw this same guy off under some tree talking on his cell. The brace was off and he was emotionally gesturing as he talked to whomever on the other end, assumably about his healing. It looked as though this man really did get the healing he came seeking for.
My mother in law said she felt healed too though, but has remained diabetic, arthritic and overweight. So you tell me.
Very good points as to why someone can still seemingly have an effect for Christ when they’re simultaneously in sin. Seen a lot of this and its troubled me too. Thanks,these points make sense.
I’ve also recognized the truth of God allowing the gospel to be preached, even if it for selfish gain. The Bible mentions this (can’t remember where right now) and I believe it says God will ultimately deal with those who operate from unsavory motives.
Perhaps this is why so many phonies are being exposed (for those who would see) at this time?

Thanks that helps.I didn’t think the elect could be decieved though. I mean I know I belong to Him and I got out.. He is our shepherd but he didn’t protect me from all the bad theology. I think of alot of church planting to unreached people groups using the same bad theology and that they might have to be rediscipled in 10-20 years in alot of ways. I don’t know the answer to this but I do know that hearing correctly and teaching well is important and I think God gets angry about this with some people over the long haul Its very serious.

I was beginning to wonder if I was the only person out there who saw/heard these things taking place and how satan has infiltrated the church.
I was called names the other day by a group of church goers because I told the truth. I don’t care. I’ll stand up for the truth and Jesus any day before I listen and believe the rubbish that is being ‘taught’ to new and old Christians on a daily basis.
People don’t understand how much we are in the last days, and it’s going to get so bad that we won’t be able to attend church anymore because of the heresy that is being taught there. Just as an example…
My father received a call from a man who is planning on opening a church in south africa and wanted some signage made. (I’m from South Africa). This man has come all the way from europe to establish a branch of the Lion of Judah church.
From the onset everything seemed ok until I started to read the information brochures more closely and low and behold was I dumb struck! This is not a church for Jesus it’s a church to usher in The Christ. He uses Jesus’ name and all that but if you just read a little more closely you will see that things are not kosher.
Now The Christ as many of you may know or may not know is actually the anti-christ. His real name is Maitreya and they call him The Christ as he represents every major religion in the world.
This is what the world is coming to folks and you need to be prepared. Don’t bury your heads in the sand and hope it’s going to go away, cos it’s not. Make sure you don’t fall into The Christ’s trap of deception because the bible says, even the elite of the elite will be fooled.
All these ministers that speak rubbish are all part of The Christ’s plan to deceive us into believing that He is the saviour of the world and that when Jesus said he would come back on a cloud he didn’t realllyyy mean a cloud; it’s an error and we misinterpreted the bible.
I had a dream the other night where I saw a woman in a public place speaking to another woman about Jesus. Her words were that of the bible but yet my spirit told me there was something wrong. I got up and as I walked past her I said to her, ‘you are speaking about Maitreya?’ She said, ‘yes of course I am, who else do you think I was speaking about.’ I said, ‘How many people know about him?’ and she said, ‘oh…everyone knows about him.’
Beware, one of these days when someone speaks about Jesus you going to have to ask them, ‘which one?’.
Can I ask one more question that is in keeping with the discussion about testing?
Just last year I ventured back into volunteering with two ministies YWAM and a AG ministry. Knowing what I now know,thanks to experiential knowledge,personal growth and sites like FACTNET and others alot of what is wrong ( that has already been discussed ) is still occuring. Why did I go back after 7 years? To see if anything had changed and because I miss settings where the Holy Spirit is recognized in gifting.
Occassionally something will happen that seems like a ’sign’ that encourages me that God still wants me volunteering with these groups.If I confront leadership it will cause a problem as I still see abuse there and maybe even violations of civil rights (to be frank) My head says no and inside I feel unsettled and not safe about it and yet these signs continue to occur.( I don’t really agree with arminism either)
Something similar has happened to me before its kind of like being dangled with a carrot on a stick.. to keep me hoping for change and in limbo. I don’t like this and I want it to go away. Didn’t God speak to Moses plainly face to face? I have been so involved in alot of hyperspiritually that its like I don’t trust myself anymore. I don’t want to be hanging around wierd and unsafe christians.
Ann: I was personally involved with YWAM for over 5 years til 1995 so I well know this ministry. There were many great people in YWAM, and still are I guess, and also genuine gifts etc, and God’s blessing was on many, saw many great things, lots of people saved through our ministry etc - but frankly also there is a dark side in that it is abusive and cult-like, with many leaders and bases more interested in money rather than gifting or calling (and not being openly accountable with money either) - so those without financial support are rejected whereas those with it are embraced even if not called or gifted - they can treat you like dirt with heavy shepherding and abuse of authority, pressure to conform or be labelled rebellious/divisive etc, lack of free thinking, immaturity (they are used to dealing with kids and treat them like kids and not adults - eg a movie treat at the base would be the Muppets or another banal one - and certain movies were blacklisted at the base such as Mrs Doubtfire (because it deals with divorce and some people may be upset watching it! Did they think we were 5 year olds?) and generally a lot of flakiness with little discernment in terms of gifts or teachings. I also saw them discriminate against disabled people and be hypocritical. I did not realise quite how bad it really was, or its heresy, til the benefit of hindsight years later, but I knew I did not like their ecumenisim, as a converted Catholic there was no way I was going on mission to Ireland and lead new converts into the RC church like they wanted me to do, or their abuse…but then you do think that’s just you and make excuses for them. YWAM was one of the few ’spirit filled’ missions organisations out there believing in the gifts (I had previously gone with Operation Mobilisation who I felt quench the spirit re gifts), and for all its faults I thought it the only real alternative out there for me. However, I came out of the DTS learning to be a mug basically, willing to be trod on and kicked on without complaint - all under the guise of ’servanthood’.
Basically I had to accept any abuse from my leaders - however wrong they were - and accept it as being ok and submit to it without question or rebuke. When I walked away from a leader shouting in my face for being ill one afternoon and not making it to washing up duty, I walked away from the argument after rebuking her politely - and for that I was almost kicked out of the organisation - I was also labbeled rebellious and divisive for daring to say she was wrong and I was right! (I have since found out that I had it easy by many people’s experiences - you are always led to think it is just you). They also all knew how gifted I was on the streets with evangelism with lots of fruit (people being saved) coming from my ministry, and they frequently affirmed this over me, yet when they needed an accountant the base leaders deliberately tried to persuade me to work for them as an accountant and persuade me it was my calling to be in an office instead of out on the streets. I refused to sin against God in such a way, I knew what I was meant to do, but I went to help out in my spare time with their books nonetheless, and for this I was exiled and dropped me like a stone and outcast - as soon as they found another accountant! Not a good way to treat anyone.
I understand, however, ‘missing’ people being open in the gifts. Even without the flakiness and counterfeits aspect I know most YWAMMERs find it extremely hard to adjust to normal church life after being on the cutting edge of faith-filled ministry and environment where they are let loose, which is why so many do not leave long past time. Also there is the community aspect which is hard to leave.
Since the Toronto Blessing, I’d never go back into YWAM, and never encourage anybody to go into them, as there is even more flakiness, heresy and false teachers than there ever was. I also have a major problem with their ecumenisim with the Catholic Church, and their weird stance on missions to Islam (a convert to Christianity should stay within the mosque!) and close ties with C Peter Wagner et al.
It would be interesting to know what you mean by a ’sign’ as you may be putting 2+2 together to make 5. It seems to me perhaps you are seeking an environment where the gifts are practised and you’ll see some true ones occuring albeit amongst a background of abuse and counterfeits and so desparate are you for spiritual power you’ll see this as a sign you should be among these people still? Remember even if these gifts are true (and many are not), then if the people sin and are abusive and heretical the Bible teaches to have nothing more to do with them. Don’t be led by the signs - be led by scripture and sound reason, God gives you a brain for a reason, to use it, and I say that with deep respect.
I think what you need is a place where genuine gifts are practised along with sound teaching, discernment and love. If you can find such a place let me know and I’ll fly out and join you! No, seriously, if you find such a place, great, if not, make one as there will be a remnant out there who will think as you do and God will gather one or two to you if you stay faithful to Him.
Wow. Thankyou very much. You are right on. It helps to hear someone else say it. Some of the younger christians there have been looking for me but I just don’t have the heart to try and explain my hesitation in going back.
My research into how deep the deception is kinda freaks my wife and I out a bit. It seems that all these super prophets and apostles know each other and are all connected. I used to listen to any teaching by Todd Bentley but I have since noticed some things in his teaching that I assume come from how close he is to Bob Jones. This Manifest sons of God and Latter Rain stuff just seems to blind people. I remember going right along with the idea that we would all turn superhuman, even transfigure well before Jesus returned. I mean it was like literal spiritual blindness to what the scriptures actually tell us!
I went to Rick Joyners site to see who was connected with him and morning star ministries and on the home page there was a little movie playing with Rick doing some teaching. Not 20 seconds after I came on the site I heard him say “that some people think Jesus comes back and we are just made perfect, poof, like that. It’s not how it happens folks, read your scipture.” He then goes on to explain how we have to do it and then throws in some scriptures about becoming mature as though that’s what he was talking about when it was clear he was refering to our incoruptable state at the return of Jesus Christ. Its just crazy the way they twist stuff.
For me I think the tip off is how no one says anything about the tribulation. They don’t because it actually doesn’t enter the mind. It never entered mine for the year that I sat under these teachings. I actually saw visions of myself surrounded by glory ministering in an actual temple srtucture. I actually thought that I would get hit by a wave of glory that would actually knock off my old skin and that I would have new skin, new blood, and new dna. I saw myself rolling up my old skin, it actually fell on the ground! I mean, talk about delusion. It was all about my glory, and the power I would have to further the Kingdom of Heaven.
Now I can see the spirit of the anti-christ in the world and the deep deep roots it has. I don’t see a way out, I’m pretty sure this is the apostasy in revelations. I’m pretty sure that we are going to be killed under the leadership of some of these people. Even so, come Lord Jesus.
i am pleased to know their are other out there that know the
truth i have seen a so called man of God with a five point star on his tee shirt talking of GOD power at work and deceiving many to join in his ministry i pray that all these men be exposed for the false prophets they are and that the judgment of God would cut them off and that the spirit of truth will keep the elect from being deceived may the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ give onto us a spirit of discearning to judge these lying signs and wonders God bless all the people in Christ keep yourself pure Amen

I havent seen the God of the Bible in any of his services. Its a joke,,they only give PROMISES and tell you what they “See in the Spirit” happening,,,leaving the congregation excepting it so as to not look spiritually Ignorant. Need i remind you that the bible says” there will be those who have cast out demons,,spoke in tounges,and all manner of signs in my name,and i will say depart from me i never knew you”? Response to Ann: Ann in response to you explanations as to why giftings given to false prophets: You quoted half the word Ann,,saying” it would decieve the very elect” that is not the full scripture Ann. It says” it would decieve the very elect,,AS IF IT WERE POSSIBLE”,,,you description of the gifts are without repentance is way off base. First of all,,whatwisdom would a God have to trust a man with gifts? “Every good and perfect gift comes from the Father”. God knows that no matter how SANCTIFIED WE FEEL AT TIMES,,we are still human,,and the word says our heart is so vile and evil we cant even know it,,(scripture look it up) do you some good to read,,,i realize there are about 352 different teachings and opinions on this very subject(gifts without repentance),,sounds like you have recieved some sort of modern Charasmatic description of it,,,my advice,,,back up 20 yards and punt,,, revisit this with prayer and dont take a seemingly good explanation for it,,,trust the very God of life to reveal these things.The explanation which i doubt is yours ,,it is a popular explanation in modern religious realms,,however,,it insinuates that God just sent man through an assembly line installing “GIFTS” put man on earth,,and sat back and crossed his fingers and hoped for the best,,,c’mon God is much too wise for that.
I disagree with your statement that there is nothing inside us that can heal. As christians we have the holy spirit living and breathing inside of us, therefore empowering us to do greater works than christ, as He said. Christ lived in the fullness of the holy spirit as therefore us as christians who have christ within us have the same authority as written in scriptures. The laying on of hands is scriptural to release healing.
Evan: you misunderstand what I said. Please read again exactly what I said.
Was born again in 1976 during the sweep of Holy Spirit revival that changed the lives of multitudes - to the better of course. Have kept the faith (such as mine is) in spite of numerous heresies, deceptions, bad teaching, and the like. I can thank actually reading the Bible, a background in a conservative denomination, age, and critical thinking (and of course the grace of God)for that.
If all of this foolishness keeps up I may become a Lutheran. People have believed in the gifts of the Spirit for eons. My husband’s and my own paternal grandmothers were both believers. But honestly they never behaved so foolishly as we seem to do in this current era (or should that be error!).
For Pete’s sake and all of the other apostles’ let’s use some good sense and look at how God wants us to BEHAVE and stop looking to glorify ourselves with supernatural powers. The gifts are real. The Bible is the record. And I am so busy just trying to survive every day stuff that I can’t figure out how anyone has time for these tangents.
Believe in Jesus Christ and Him crucified and risen from the dead. Forgiven.

Our Boss (Lord) is same, but only difference is that you are serving Him there and we are serving Him in Pakistan. Where Christian being a poor community has to face lot of difficulties, majority of Christian men are addicted or jobless and their wives are compel to work in Muslims houses to earn something for their children due to un skillness they work as a housemaid. Unfortunately their pay is not sufficient to meet their needs but most of them become victim of Muslims sexuality some time they lost their life by denying to do so.
As other third world countries mostly people are poor, so firstly they want to fulfill their daily needs and then they are ready to hear the word of God. In Pakistan 60% of the population is jobless. Many of the younger generation are unemployment due to a lack of skills and they easily become involved with bad people. They are compel to do so because they don’t have enough sources and facilities to get good skill or high tech for better job to make their future bright. This is militating on their future. Consequently they are adopting evil ways. That’s the reason our people produces and helps the terrorists.
Revival Crusades and Seminars are one of the best and effective way to teach the people. We can easily teach Christians among Muslims in these types of meetings.
Now who have burden to teach & preach in the depressed & needy people?
