King Canute and the Sea - Britain’s tidal surge wave and floods
Britain’s East Coast is in immenent threat of a tidal wave surge in the next few hours. Apparently Northern Europe is also in danger as well of being hit by this same surge. Tens of thousands of householders are today preparing for some of the worst coastal floods in decades.
Sea levels could rise up to 9ft this morning along part of the East Coast, putting lives at risk.
Sea defences in Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft could be breached around 7am, sending a torrent of salt water into the towns.

Police and fire services were last night preparing to evacuate thousands of homes. Householders were stocking up on sandbags and emergency provisions.
The Norfolk Broads, Essex and northern Kent could also be hit, and the entire coast from Immingham in Humberside to Margate in Kent has been told to be on alert.
The Environment Agency, which issued eight severe flood warnings, last night said it was “gravely concerned” about the threat.
Gordon Brown called a meeting of the emergency Cabinet committee Cobra to prepare for his third major flood crisis since taking office in the summer.
The tidal surge is being caused by 50mph winds in the North Sea, an unusually high tide and an area of low pressure off the East Coast.
Simon Hughes, of the Environment Agency, said: “Great Yarmouth is very low lying and the surge is expected to hit at the same time as the high tide.”
The Thames Barrier will be closed at 8pm to protect against the tidal surge
It is expected to measure almost 5ft above what is normally expected - but in the worst case, it could be more than 9ft higher.
Mr Hughes said the defences were almost 10ft high, “so it’s going to be close and we are gravely concerned”.
He added: “The most important thing that people can do is contact the Environment Agency’s Floodline to see if they will be affected. If they are, they can move valuables upstairs, move their vehicles and ensure that their neighbours are safe.”
The surge has echoes of the East Coast floods of 1953, when more than 1,000 people died.
“Things are very different now,” said Mr Hughes. “We have flood defences, a warning system and the emergency services are well prepared and practice for floods.”
Around 8,000 homes in Great Yarmouth could be at risk, along with 1,800 in Lowestoft.
Last night, locals were collecting sandbags from the council and preparing to barricade their homes.
Beth Manning, of Great Yarmouth police, said: “Evacuation is more than likely. We have been doing a lot of immediate work in Yarmouth.”
Izzie Cunningham, of Lowestoft’s Waterlane Leisure Centre, said: “The centre will be an evacuation centre.”
Police warned residents to avoid travel, prepare to move upstairs by hoarding food, clothes, blankets and torches, and fill the bath and buckets with water for washing in case there is a loss of water supply.
Norfolk and Suffolk have six severe flood warnings between Winterton, Norfolk and Aldeburgh, Suffolk.
The warnings carry an Environment Agency alert stating: “Severe flooding is expected. There is extreme danger to life and property. Act now.”
Five less serious flood warnings and 22 flood watches are in place around the East Coast. In Kent, the surge will peak around noon, but is not expected to be as severe.
Environment Secretary Hilary Benn said: “There is a risk of flood defences being over-topped on the coast and in tidal rivers, especially in East Anglia, particularly the Norfolk Broads and the coast south of Great Yarmouth including Lowestoft, and areas south of this as far as the coast of Kent.”
The world over this year seems to have suffered from terrible floods. There are plenty of false neo prophets who look for some sign in the floods or fires or earthquakes or volcanic eruptions or bridge collapses after the event, and prophesy ‘cleansing’ or ‘floods of the spirit’ or ‘revival’ upon the land or some other ‘deep’ meaning spiritual warfare related, but the truth is far simpler and has been in plain sight in the Word of God for centuries. God’s wrath is being poured out on all mankind in these Last Days. All these things are but birthpangs and sign pointers for the end times. Worse is to come including nuclear war, these natural disasters are but some of the smaller signs of what else much bigger and much worse is to come, and God is inviting the nations to repent and ‘Kiss the Son’ (Jesus) and escape these things, escape God’s wrath, and live in peace and prosperity and live under His protection and blessing, or face the consequences of sin and pride and rejection of God and dependance on self, and suffer multiple disasters and catastrophes and defeat and fear on a scale such as the world has never known before.
“There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” (Luke 21:25-2 
In July/August this year I prophesied on this blog re Britain and the impending terror attacks and other disasters that will hit her if she does not repent and return to God. In the same prophecy, God spoke about King Canute and turning back the waves which I believe is linked in both time and place prophetically to the terror threat and not only has symbolic meaning with regard to the terror threat (eg God turning back that threat) but means that God was willing to demonstrate through a physical sign before the terror threat was to be fulfilled by turning back the waves of the sea. This is confirmed to me still further because the day before I had prophesied about the terror attacks, I had prophesied massive flooding from waves coming from the sea (not from heavy rain as per the earlier floods of this year), plus I also know the images I was shown when God was speaking about King Canute…they were about the sea waters around Britain and Northern Europe, the waves being turned back from Britain’s shores by possibly God changing the winds or some other such miracle.
I understand now that God is clearly saying He is willing to miraculously turn back this tidal water if Britain cries out to Him, as a sign of His goodness in this instance, but also crucially to show that he can also foil the multiple terror attacks planned against the UK and her American cousins which would be even more devastating in terms of loss of life. Man cannot save himself from such natural disasters, but God can. King Canute cannot rebuke the tide, but see God’s lips move as He rebukes the wind and waves and says ‘peace, be still!’ This same Jesus that walked on water and calmed the sea two thousand years ago can do the same in 2007 if you will but let him, Britain. O Lord, miraculously still the storm, and turn back the tides from these shores, and may the country see it is a miracle and not just a fluke or ‘luck’, that this country may see your hand in this and know you are God, and there is none like you O God! ‘For if the Lord was not on your side, Britain, would you not be swept away? Would not the flood water engulf you? But like a bird, a bird out from the net, He has set you free.’ LORD IN JESUS NAME, TURN BACK THESE WATERS SO THAT MEN WILL SEE AND FEAR YOU AND KNOW YOU ARE A GOD WHO HEARS PRAYERS AND LONGS TO RELENT FROM SENDING DISASTERS IF MEN CRY OUT TO YOU. DO NOT ENGULF US, OR LET THE TORRENT RAGE OVER US BUT TURN BACK THE WATERS. BREAK THE SNARE AND SET BRITAIN FREE, O GOD, FREE TO SERVE YOU AND FREE TO LOVE YOU AND HONOR YOU ALL THEIR DAYS. O GOD, TURN THIS BACK, A MIGHTY WORK BUT YOU ARE MIGHTY AND THIS IS NOT TOO HARD FOR YOU BY ANY MEANS. BY YOUR GOOD PLEASURE, PLEASE LORD, TURN BACK THE WATERS FROM BRITAIN, IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME, THE SAME LORD WHO REBUKES THE STORM, AMEN. LET IS BE A SIGN TO THIS GENERATION. TIMES AND TIDES WAIT FOR NO MAN, BUT THEY WAIT FOR YOU O GOD. BREATHE O GOD BREATHE!
If the LORD had not been on our side— let Israel say— if the LORD had not been on our side when men attacked us, when their anger flared against us, they would have swallowed us alive; the flood would have engulfed us, the torrent would have swept over us, the raging waters would have swept us away. Praise be to the LORD, who has not let us be torn by their teeth. We have escaped like a bird out of the fowler’s snare; the snare has been broken, and we have escaped. Our help is in the name of the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. (Psalm 124)
See from this Psalm how the flood is connected with being attacked by men. See it and learn from it Britain that God broods over you and cares for you and multiple dangers crouch at your door that the Lord will protect you from if you cry out to him! CRY OUT TO HIM O MEN! CRY OUT, CRY OUT! Repent and let Him save you from both these dangers!
Excerpts from prophecy earlier this year:
Britain, if you call out to God, the Lord will hold back the wind and the waves.
The Lord loves righteousness and hates wickedness. Perhaps he will relent, perhaps he will turn the seas away. (I see a vision of King Canute rebuking the sea back.)
Q: It is true King Canute (‘king’ symbolises the government) could not turn back the tide by his own command, but you Oh Lord, you are mighty indeed. The seas and the winds obey you. They hear your voice. If this weapon is flying through the winds which are subject to you, then perhaps you can change the winds, or turn back the ‘waves’ to avert this disaster.
A: It is my hand that holds back disasters befalling them, that gives them good things and rains from heaven, yet they do not want to know me. They yell at me to remove my hand, they demand it, yet when I do and disaster comes they call me cruel?!
They think by their own works they live and breathe etc yet they cannot animate even an ant! Surely they can do nothing without me. They need me yet deny me. I will remove my protection from this stiff-necked people and then perhaps they will see the error of their way and repent and see their need. See what I do with the sea. I can hold back the ‘waters’ from your nation. My word - command (as per King Canute’s) - can bring you blessing and peace. Choose peace. (I see weapons being beaten to agricultural tools (to collect the harvest of souls) if you choose right. I will be your king and you will be my people.
Q: Lord, lead them out with dancing, with gladness and praise for great are your works and mighty are your deeds and you hold back the ’sea’ (the Red Sea and also as in King Canute rebuking the sea/disaster). Nothing compares with you Oh God. Nothing.
About 2 weeks ago I had a dream. I live in Toronto on the 15th floor of a building that looks east over the Don Valley and my view has many more trees than buildings. In my dream I was standing in my bedroom looking out of my apartment window. Very suddenly my eyes were drawn to the horizon as what looked like the sun was coming over the trees, except it was already daylight out.
In this sun I could see Jesus walking with a staff in His hand. My heart nearly stopped, I was torn between joy and terror. Coming towards me ahead of Jesus were these dark forms shaped like smoke, smoky shadows. They were kinda flying away from Him as He walked. There was also a sound I think but I don’t know what it was. Some smoky shadows tried to come in my window so I told them to leave and they flew away, then I noticed that the valley had flooded with water. It was chaos. I could see people on top of stuff, trying to get out of the water, it was frightening. It also kinda looked like a different place that was flooded, maybe not my neighborhood.
Everytime I look at the trees where I saw Him coming I still get chills.

Can you please look into what God is saying about our LA Malls, RoseBowl event or parades. We have heard alot of things from other prophets and even we have received warnings from our FBI agencies that there are threats this year.

Well, the threat from the tidal surge seems to have receded and God has demonstrated His mighty power by controlling the wind and the waves, and showing Britian He wants to rescue her from other disaster.
This averted flood disaster was real, the whole of Britian was alerted yesterday as to ‘grave danger’, many people were evacuated from their homes. The look of worry on even hard faced politicans yesterday was real, very real. After chairing a meeting of the Cobra emergency committee at 0600 GMT, UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown said his government stood ready to help local communities along the North Sea coast. They were up late last night planning what to do.
Severe gale warnings were issued in Germany and Denmark, with wind gusts of up to 125km/h (80mph) forecast. The Dutch transport ministry said this was the first time since 1976 the whole North Sea coast was under alert. A giant barrier near Rotterdam has been closed for the first time ever to protect the Dutch port from a tidal surge caused by a North Sea storm.
The Uk’s environment agency’s chief executive, Baronness Young warned gravely: “I hope our defences can cope but this is a pretty severe weather event and some of them may not. And indeed on our current predictions some of them may be overtopped - even if they do stand up to the wave and wind activity.”
However, when the tides peaked between 0700 GMT and 0800 GMT this morning, officials reported no major breaches of flood defences. The waters were nearly 8in (20cm) lower than originally feared and passed without causing major damage. Norfolk police said water had breached flood defences in the centre of Great Yarmouth but there was “no risk to persons or property”.
The Thames Barrier was raised earlier today and the River Thames has been declared all clear. London was considered out of danger.
Environment Secretary Hilary Benn said it had been a “close run thing” but that the worst was now over. The Environment Agency (EA) admitted that the region had been within a “hair’s breadth” of disaster, and that it was only ‘good fortune’ that averted a catastrophe. The freak surge striking East Anglia and Kent missed the high tide by minutes, allowing flood defences to hold out and protect thousands of homes. The agency said that if the waters had risen by a further eight inches, it would have caused “utter devastation”. They said the surge had “lost its power” by Friday lunchtime and no problems had been reported in the county as the high waters continued their way south.
“We were a hair’s breadth away from disaster, it really was that close.” said Simon Hughes, the Environment Agency’s spokesman.
Baroness Young, added: “Flooding in East Anglia came within a whisker of widespread flooding, with tides in Great Yarmouth the highest they have been since the major flood in 1953.”
Now the threat is all but over, the EA and politicians patt themselves on the back and aim to score political points by claiming it was Britain’s (poor) flood defences that saved us, NOT the fact the waters were somehow 8 inches lower than estimated, and the surge also missed the high tide by ‘minutes’ so that the sea walls were not breeched.
Britian was not saved from the sea by man or manmade defences. Man can not control timing such as this. Twas not man who saved you this time Britain, it was God Himself. Give glory to God and repent of your proud boasting that you saved yourself this day or perhaps He will let worse than this befall you from the sea or air. Watch Him save you again from disaster - if you let him. But you must call out to Him, Britain.
