Christian prophecy for the church and for the nations from a servant of God called to speak God’s word

Roll up for Benny Hinn’s miracle crusade, be sure to bring your wallet

‘Evangelical faith healer Pastor Benny Hinn claims he can cure the sick, make the crippled walk and rid terminally ill patients of cancer. But Hinn’s supposed spiritual powers were no match for Brisbane’s peak-hour traffic. The multi-millionaire was 50 minutes late for his Australian “miracle crusade” after his limo became stuck in traffic on a notorious stretch of the Gateway Arterial Freeway.

When Hinn eventually arrived at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre at Boondall, in Brisbane’s north, he wore a white shot silk suit. Standing in front of a 350-piece choir, the televangelist, whose sermons are broadcast in 192 countries, strutted the stage, his brass buttons flashing and Madonna-style microphone headset firmly in place.

The 10,000-strong crowd reacted. Young children, teens, adults and the elderly rose to their feet. They wept, rocked and chanted, cried silent tears, spoke in tongues and smiled as the Californian preacher, who lives in an $8 million waterfront mansion in Orange County, performed a 20-minute rendition of the hymn I Love To Praise Him.

In a roped-off section of the entertainment centre, faithful in wheelchairs, unwell elderly and other infirm waited for a “miracle”.

Kelly Smith, a paraplegic, travelled from Ipswich. The 43-year-old recently suffered two strokes and a blood clot, and her husband Gavin has cataracts on his eyes.

“We’ve tried everything,” Ms Smith said. “Feng shui, wind chimes, crystals and positive thinking. We really wanted to give this a go.”

Nearby sat seven-year-old Bernie Hudson. The bright-eyed Cairns local, who was born with spina bifida and now suffers scoliosis, begged parents Ken and Karen to bring her along. She sat in her small wheelchair and waited, excited about the possibility of being able to walk.

“She gets up every morning at 5.30am to watch Benny’s show This Is Your Day!” Ms Hudson said.

“She watches the pastor healing other people, and thought maybe he could do something for her.”

But business comes before miracles when Pastor Hinn is in the building, it seems.

After an hour of songs, Hinn preached a recurring topic. Gold and silver. Silver and gold. The flamboyant non-denominational preacher, who receives an estimated $A110 million in donations per annum, used scripture to encourage crowd members to give.

“Do you know how much gold the children of Israel gave Moses to build a tabernacle?” he asked. “Fifty thousand ounces of gold, 150,000 ounces of silver. In today’s prices that’s over 40 million US dollars in gold alone. I don’t know how much that is in Australian dollars, but that’s a lot of gold . . . and God blessed them.” (End time’s note - yes, but they gave to God  to build God’s house, not Benny to build Benny’s house – and they were not emotionally manipulated, lied to, and did not pay to be healed either)

Hinn, who owns a $36 million private jet, continued in the same “rich” vein. For 90 minutes he talked dollars. The term “wealth transfer” was uttered 20 times in 10 minutes. “Gold” and “silver” was said 35 times in six minutes alone.

The man believed to be the world’s richest evangelist, who has repeatedly refused to join the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability, continued his focus on the almighty dollar.

“If God tells you to give $5000, obey him,” Hinn said.

“If God speaks and says give $10,000, obey him. Do not argue with God.” (End times note - Does this work both ways? Should we argue with God if He only says give you a buck? Or nothing at all?)

Yet, as he talked of God’s love, the pastor couldn’t hide his quick temper. The 56-year-old became angry when a crying child interrupted the sermon.

“People came to hear God’s word, not children crying,” he snapped, singling out a distressed mother. “Do something with that baby.”  (End times note - Jesus said let the little children come unto me…and hinder them not for such as the kingdom of heaven)

Seconds later Hinn’s security guards, former gridiron players in pinstripe suits and dark glasses, distributed donation envelopes to the crowd.

What’s your view on Benny Hinn? Perth student Amy Andrews, 25, gave $1000 and pledged to donate more.

“Pastor Hinn says the more you give, the more wealth and love you receive,” she said.

Then came the healing – a surprisingly hands-off affair administered by Hinn’s Australian volunteers.

People were stripped of canes and Zimmer frames, those in wheelchairs helped to their feet. One man, in his late 50s, cried with what looked more like pain than relief.

For Ms Smith, the Friday night event was a disappointing affair.

“There was too much talk about money, about the more you gave the more God loved you,” she said.

“I feel drained, let down and let’s face it, I still can’t walk.”

Hinn held two more miracle crusades in Brisbane yesterday. He flew to Auckland for the New Zealand leg of his world tour last night.’

  1. Dear sister, i need to confess and repent, as a brand new born again believer i too believed that these people who said they come and heal in the name of Jesus were true disciples of Christ, it was the look of love in the faces and the tears of joy of those who were worshipping and praising our Yeshua that led me to think this was truly ordained and of God. Where is the deception in this? my only contribution to Benny Hinn was $100.00 for 3 prayer shawls that i gave away , after “seeing” the deception at the altar and after receiving many we need more donations i wrote on the back of one of the envelopes “the curse of Balaam” and the requests stopped.
Are we forgiven for being deceived by deceivers?

    > He is getting paid for his work, in the same way that you do.

I do not get paid. I do not ask for donations. I support myself like the apostle Paul as a ‘tentmaker’ and my time and labour is a sacrifice and gift to God and his people. I have never recieved any money to prophesy or run this site or any other aspect of ministry and have directed people who wanted to give to me to give to the poor instead. I minister at my own expense so that it costs me and not the people of God.

I do not minister for money and shut down crusades as they are not profitable enough – if he was a man of God then he would minister regardless. He only sees them as profit making ventures PROVING he is a charlatan. I do not manipulate sick people to give their money – all of it – to me so they can be healed or blessed. I do not use money that the people of God give ‘to God’ for £10k hotel rooms a night , for Versace suits, or multi million dollar mansions. I do not revel in mammon or lie about it.

I do not lie to the people of God. I do not fake healings or claim healing that never took place or make other misleading statements. I do not lie I have a resurrection from the dead through my ministry on tape. I do not publically promise I will give to a charity and then not come through on the deal. I do not lie about public figures as he allegedly has about Manning, PM of Trinidad or Barbados, somewhere like that. I do not use emotional manipulation, hypnotism, crowd mesmerism or work off the emotions to fake God’s presense. I do not falsely prophesy. I do not teach unbiblical things. I do not contradict myself. I do not give false hope or promises. I do not have people DIE because of my ministy as Hinn has. I am not bothered about my reputation so much that I will let a woman in my audience writhe in great pain, ignore her requests for a medic, and then later die from her injuries (injured after someone who was slain in the spirit fell on her) rather than call for an ambulance.

    >You only have to look around, corruption and lies

You’re talking about Hinn, right, as that is what he is. Corrupt and a liar. There is proof of what I say.

Thanks for your prayers but pray for yourself too, and ask God about mammon. Read 1 John where it says a love of money and the things of this world does not come from the Holy Spirit. Hinn loves all the fine things of this world, what does that say he is full of?!!!!

    He is a charlatan.

  5. Benny Hinn along with a lot of other TV Evangelists are all misrepresenting Gods Word. Please do not listen to them. They will answer in time for their evil deeds. They make Ministers who teach God’s Word look bad in some ways because they are so evil. Find a church and forget the TV Evangelists. Most of them have been in prison, many failed marriages, school dropouts, they do not have an earned Dr. degree. What a mess.

  6. This all saddens me. I remember Benny Hinn from many years ago before all this money stuff. He was a good teacher, and God did heal people in his services. Now, with the influence of Mike Murdock, Steve Munsey, Oral Roberts (who happens to be his neighbor), and other prosperity preachers, Benny has fallen in with them.

God said that there would be a great falling away in the last days, and this must be it. This is really hurting the witness for Christ, and I have to contend with unbelievers now who mock God because of this corruption.

I really feel there should be an open protest of this stuff so that at least the media will know that the rest of us do not support this money heresy. Not everyone is out for money. I’m not. Any information I offer is free. I spend my own money helping people in my area. I ask for nothing but the opportunity to show the love of God to the lost.

Maybe we can go on Larry King or some show and make an issue of this.

Larry King made an open invitation on his show last night to go on his website and tell him who you would most like to see on his show. Maybe a reputable christian leader should stand up and make a statement. But I think we are holding our breath if we think the world is going to listen. I think the best way to do it is on an individual basis.

    Comment by Marianne | March 3, 2008

  15. When the Gospel is being preached, the demons will manifest
The reason Ps B:Hinn talks so much about money is that he needs to convince us that it does cost heaps to run a crusade, and nothing is free, except for the gift of salvation, which Jesus paid a very high price for us. Although I do not agree with motivational speech on Tithe and Offering, the facts remains that most Christians haven’t got the message about giving. Most churches spend
quite some time every week on this subject, not because they
want a bigger Offering, but they need to meet costs.May be we should see what the word says. Gal: 6:6 “Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches”
Healing: If people does not get their healing, the pastor is not responsible. He is not the healer, God is. I have heard Ps B:Hinn say many times that he is not the healer.
The reason people probably does not get healed are because
of Unbelief, Unforgiveness, Sin, Lack of Faith etc.
If we claim to be Christian, we should not be tearing each other apart. The most important thing is that Ps Benny is
saving plenty of people from going to Hell.In the meantime
if he live in luxury, he worked for it. Let not begrudge anyone of the fruit of their Labor, that is Socialism.
If God did not want us to be blessed, why then did he say in Deuteronomy 28 that he will bless those who obey him. God is not a liar.
Instead of wasting time being pitiful why not spend time to work out ways to reach out to the lost.
We all have a part to play. Jesus has done his part, how about we do ours. God bless you heaps.

And I’m Going to Put Aside a Fund for this Precious Little Boy – These infamous words of Benny Hinn were spoken during a crusade to a blind boy who, despite Hinn’s claim of sight, remained blind. A news team reports no funds ever came from Hinn to the boy. However, you can see the lavish hotels Hinn used for layovers in Italy and London; a layover costing perhaps more than a four-year community college education fund. Watch the following Canadian Broadcasting Company (CBC) Fifth Estate news documentary from CBS on Benny Hinn:

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=dhvFScYQR_c&feature=related (Part 1)
    http://youtube.com/watch?v=qhlJemoaR5s&feature=related (Part 2)

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=HYpGWpxHKLA&feature=related (Part 4)
    http://youtube.com/watch?v=bgDHuHhX43U&feature=related (Part 5)

Listen to Benny Hinn repeatedly promise to cooperate with, meet with and call the news team. The news team reports Hinn never did call. Finally, watch Hinn on TBN promise he never lies. It makes one wonder, is this disturbing Christian psychopathic behavior due to immersion in self, money and escapist doctrine? What else explains the brazen lying? To quote the final segment of the damning news broadcast:

Fifth Estate (Voice Over): In the end what you think about all this may come down not to what you believe, but who. The last word goes to Pastor Benny:

Benny Hinn (on a TBN set): Look at my eyes right here. (Points to his eyes. All the while the camera pans closer into Hinn’s face as he stares us down.) Come, give me a close shot, will ya? And look at these eyes. I have never lied to you. Never. I never will. I’d rather die than lie to God’s people.

Is this a joke? Perhaps Benny Hinn believes he never has spoken to God’s people? Because surely he lies, has lied and continues to lie. This news report has, as countless other news reports have, caught him in bald-faced lies; lies to which he never admits, recants or repents. He simply – and quite brazenly – continues to lie and believe he is incapable of being caught in a lie. The behavior is nothing short of psychopathic.

Why does this man forget the lies he has told, then stare us down as he proclaims himself never guilty of lying? This old technique of psychopaths is “the liar’s stare down.” To do it, one must be brazen, be convinced saying so makes it so and – as often as not – be a deluded religious leader. (This psychopathic behavior may be traced directly to Triune Escapology. Belief in escapology makes it possible to call evil good, good evil and never, ever be corrected. It is Satan’s nirvana, a place where hell on earth can be expanded without correction. Evil can thus enlarge itself via escapology virtually forever, were it not for God’s truth and God’s spirit and those dedicated to living in that dual realm.)

Yes, Hinn does some great good. But to agree he also never does great evil, is to be in discord with all of God’s goodness. Hinn’s ministry is therefore an abominable mixture of uncorrected sin and short-fathomed scripture. In a nutshell, this is the problem with modern media Christianity. It won’t disavow evil, because it hurts pride and funds.

Recognizing this ugly truth is the beginning of understanding the lines and precepts of In That Day Teachings, of what God is doing today and how He wants to manifest in much greater numbers in all good people now. But it takes truth, hard and ugly truth. And it takes spirit, a humble and contrite spirit.

To begin to actually see the ugly evil that modern media Christianity has become is to begin the restoration of all things and bring heaven – not hell – to earth. It is not too late. We must rededicate ourselves to believing in the goodness of good, and rejecting unrepentant liars like Benny Hinn – no matter how it hurts his ego and ours.

The kingdom of heaven – truth, actually – comes not without cost. It comes at the cost of abandoning the process of loving and making a lie, which unfortunately describes too much of Christianity’s modern media broadcasting.

Many have said that there is something they don’t like about watching Benny Hinn. It is ugly to explain, but Christian psychopathic behavior is often that “something.” Christian psychopathic ministry is rampant, unchecked and amazingly difficult for the deluded to discern. Its root cause is Triune Escapology. And that has been a sacred cow.

Oh Lord, when will Your sheep find shepherds who can lead them to better pasture?

  21. Hi Guys !!!

Its interesting to know that we are all being watchful and careful as to not to be decieved. Well I have really seen a lot of lives being changed through Benny Hinns book , Good Morning Holy Spirit. It really is an amazing book and a must read. I am sure Benny Hinn has brought more people to Christ than anyone writing this post. There have been so many cases of people genuinely being healed at his crusades, Praise our Lord Jesus for that , all the same there may be a few cases where people felt they were healed at one point and werent actually healed. But he really isnt faking any healings , imagine if that were the case , how many people would he have to bribe and pay…and then how much more would he have to pay them to keep their mouths shut. He is after all hundred percent human just like all of us and he is bound to make hundred plus mistakes in his lifetime. lets sincerely pray for him and ask God to show him and us if we are wrong in any areas of our life. Well its important we all talk and share things the way we see it, because thr bible asks us to examine all things. Take care all of You and God bless!!!!

  25. Glory be to God in all things. Benny Hinn is blessed with the utter working of the Holy Spirit. He was dedicated by his mother to the Lord before he was even born. As Hannah cried and lamenteneted before the Lord for a son she told the Lord she would dedicate and give the son back to him for His great service. Imagine that, she gave her son to the church and look how God used Samuel, a great prophet of God who followed his every calling from God Almighty. Do you not think that God has done the same with others. I belive we have all lamented before the Lord and made promises in the cessation of the problem we were lamenting over. Did you follow thru once your answer was given?, many of us would ahsamedly say no. But, Hannah kept her word before the Lord with her son, the great profit of God named Samuel. Now, Benny’s mother dedicated him thru lamenting for a son to God’s great service. I believe that Benny Hinn is lead by God Almighty himself. I also believe in the direct passage in the Bible which says, judge not lest ye be judged. I would be careful over what I said about anyone doing God’s great work. Benny has lead more people around the world to salavation than any other evangalist annointed of God. Maybe instead of trying to find fault, and deceive yourself and to cause judgement upon yourself for judging him, you should seek the Lord in prayer and lay in rest with your lips sealed tighty. God almighty will reveal to you if your heart is true and open to receive. I know his healings are true. The facts are overwhemling. I personally know of three people that were healed just by laying thier hands on the televsion during his healing crusades. So with this said, yes I do belive in, not Benny Hinn healing people, but the Holy Spirit working thru him because of his committment to the Lord God and his openess to the Holy Spirit. With all this said I pray that God reveals to you the truth in this matter and show you the problems you will ensue with judgement upon one of his servants, no matter who it is. In Gods wonderous love. His Servant with every breath, Mary

does.Ps Benny Hinn will be judge like anyone else, in the meantime he is bringing many to Christ and is my opinion is doing a fine job for our Lord.
As Jesus says, ” LET THE ONE WHO HAS NOT SIN THROW THE FIRST STONE “.
As true disciple of Jesus our common enemy is Satan and his demons, let’s intercede in prayers to bind every demonic spirit and bind powers of darkness over communities, suburbs, states and nations. Let’s pray cooperatively for salvation of souls. We have been chosen by God, we have a job to do, Let’s Honor what Jesus did for us on the cross, let pray the devil out of business, let’s kick his butt by being fruitful for the Gospel of Jesus.
Let’s work hard to make sure that from now on we will be a witness and our priority must be bringing people to Salvation. Time is short and the harvest is plentiful.
March on for the kingdom. In Jesus’s name.

TO spread the gospel now means to earn 6 digit salaries, personal jets and mansions, and to live in luxury.

While unknowing converts are won overseas, this is being offset by those turning away from Christinity in America by the false witness given by preachers who fleece the flock for personal gain.

  32. To whom it may concern,
I went through a period of hope deferred over and over again concening the things I believed that the Lord was speaking to my heart and He confirmed through others. One thing I couldn’t stand was the
ministers always selling tapes, books, charging for seminars, ect. That finally one day I talked to the Lord about this hope deferred I kept going through understanding that it may be linked to something else in my past where I expeienced the same feelings. That was certainly the case. The Lord showed me that I was angry at all the preachers that sold me their books and tapes that didn’t work for me after doing what they said to do. To see that it wasn’t me that was wrong. It was them and their teaching that was false tellng me what God wanted me to do playing God. Not allowing me to have my own relationship with the Lord to guide and direct me. But to see it was about the merchandising me and in complete delusioon as if it was them that made what happened in their life by the makng it happen. That I can say they are way out there in left field manipulating and dominating me and other people with their false taeching to get the money to live the lifestyle they want to live. The Lord showing me that many know what they are doing and don’t want to repent. Showing me how that by my giving to their ministries in the past that I was just as guilty as they were supporting their ministries. That I certainly have repented and can no longer support nor have any thing too do with them. You are right about them. The Lord showed me He Loved them but it is up to them to repent otherwise they will suffer the consequences. That I Love them too much to enable them in thir distruction and harm others any further.
The Lord showed me all this and am very alone today. But I would rather be alone with the Lord than to suffer the consequences with them. If it were not for the Lord I would
not have been able to get free from all the manipulating controlling spirits operating through them. That I thank the Lord for. That is the goodness of God.

  33. Pierre:

I have found that most people who know the story about Jesus and the woman caught in adultery simply think Jesus is saying that only sinless beings are allowed to enact some form of judgement or execution of a sentence.

However, a jewish reader who knew the Law of Moses would pick up a different interpretation.

Some Jewish men come to Jesus and they bring a woman caught in Adultery and they ask Jesus what should be done with her.

If Jesus said “stone her” (to death) in accordance with the Law of Moses, He would be in trouble with the Romans as only the Romans could put someone to death and there was no law against adultery in the Roman legal system. If he said “let her go” he would then be in trouble with the Jews for abandoning the Law of Moses.

    So what did he do?

He wrote in the dust. He then said “let he who is without sin cast the first stone.” What does this really mean?

Well, under the Law, the only valid witness to a crime is someone who has not actually been guilty of that crime himself. So Jesus is not asking for a sinless man to start stoning the woman. He is asking for someone who has not committed adultery himself to come forward. It turned out that of all the men who had witnessed the crime, none had not committed adultery himself. That is why they all departed.

He knew the Law of Moses better than they did!

He turned to the woman and said “Where are your accusers?”
    “there are none”
“Neither do I condemn you, I am not a witness, but don’t do it again.”

Isn’t it good to have Jesus as your defense lawyer?

    ==================================================

right then, is it possible to now apply the phrase “let he who is without sin cast the first stone” to those who are critical of some of the practices and taught doctrines of another part of the body of Christ?
Because if we are not allowed to be critical of Benny Hinn, et al then Luther was wrong to be critical of the Pope, Tindale was wrong to translate the Bible into English, the Founding Fathers were wrong to sign the Declaration of Independence. (George III was defender of the faith after all!)
And even the rise of independent evangelical churches was wrong as they should have remained submitted to recognised church authorities.

May our heavenly Father open your heart to what I have said.

    Shalom.

  36. I doubt very much if anyone or at least few would even say much about Hinn’s ministry if he didn’t spend money on himself like it was growing on trees. Ever wondered why Benny don’t go to the hospitals and offer his healings? Why is it he only goes to crusades where the bucks are raked in?
He says he needs the money to continue his works, but stays in 1000’s of dollars a night hotels and drives in real fancy cars and lives in multi million dollar homes. He refuses to corporate giving an account on where other peoples donations are actually going to. And those who support Hinn’s ministry, don’t even question his spending. They don’t ask for proof where any of it goes to. And yet some of the same ones complain about the taxes they have to pay out of their checks each week, go figure. Does Hinn’s money go to building new roads, supporting the starved and unfortunate people? I guess we will never know since in that he refuses to give accountability. But when the state or government raises our taxes everyone wants to know why and where it’s going! Is Benny Hinn above accountability, above even the states and the governments? If you can’t see this guy is taking pure advantage of taxable exempt laws then maybe we should just idly sit by and let the states and the government get by with taking taxes without accountability too! Do you not have to give an account for your measly pay checks? Then why should Benny get by with it? But I guess your just going to justify the fact that Benny is a man of God and he does God’s work thus he must be given the option of accountability? Yeah, and my name is Santa Clause. Would you like to buy some ocean front property in Arizona?

  37. Many years ago,I went to a Benny Hinn crusade, seeking healing for my child. After the service,Hinn said that anyone who had a child who neede prayed for, should go to a room behind the stage. We were excited to take our little girl there, hoping for a miracle. We lined up,with the other parents. Finally,Hinn came in.The gentle, caring image that I had seen on TV was absent. There was no”Sweetheart” talk,he came off very arrogent, barking orders at people. He said that he would not pray for any adults who were there. My daughter thought he was a phony, but we forced her to be “prayed for”.He touched my forehead(even though he had said he would not lay hands on any adults.Nothing happened for about 30 seconds after he walked away. Then, there was a weird”whoosh”feeling, like something rushing down into my head.I momentarily blacked out and slumped to the floor. The weirdest thing about all of this, and I never told anyone this for 20 years, was this-there was a strong sexual feeling to the experience, somehow.I did not tell my husband,I was afraid he would think that I had a crush or something on Hinn. Two days ago,I finally told my daughter, now 25,about the sexual sense I felt, and shockingly, she told me that she had felt it,too, something unclean around Benny Hinn, something that felt sexual, even to a child.Stay away from this con man,you will not get healed.Jesus can heal you, pray to Him,forget Hinn.He will take you for every cent you have.

  38. Benny Hinn is an arrogant, shameless huckster, its all about money. When are we going to wise up,and stop being exploitied by Brother Benny and his like? It,s all an ACT!!I saw him backstage,in Cleveland, one time.He was supposedly going to pray for sick kids.I was shocked at how cold and arrogant he is in real life.He was barking orders, announcing in a mean voice that he wasnt going to pray for any adults..The kind persona from television.”How are you,Sweetheart”,was completely missing.Benny’s God is MONEY!!!!It’s so obvious.Dont let the “falling down”fool you,it’s an old mesmerists trick.Get the movie”Marjoe”,and you will see what I mean.I believed for many years that if people were falling down, then the Holy Spirit was there.I have seen so many phony hucksters, fleecing the flock, all about money….and STILL people were falling down.Maybe in some cases it is because of the Holy Spirit, but many times it is just a sort of self hypnosis,.People sing for two hours, often the same song over and over. They work themselves into an altered state of conciesness. They are told, over and over, that there is a great power coming out of Benny Hinn,or whatever con artist is operating. They see others fall on TV,so the expectation is there in their minds.Benny Hinn is a shameless heretic,a false prophet,a greedy jerk…don’t be another lamb running to his slaughter.Do a little research on the man,it is just sickening.I pray God will give you discernment, dont be seduced by Hinn.

  40. “I curse the man who raises his hand against this ministry”

Meaning? Criticize me (Benny Hinn) and I have the ability to place a curse on you. Really?

    “Touch not my anointed”

Ok…when you are anointed by someone on the prophetic level of Samuel and you become President of the United States (Saul was anointed as King) then I will shutup.

“The Lord is telling me that Fidel Castro will die by the year 2000″……hmmm? I think Ol Fido is still breathin (10/27/08)

Trust me there’s a whole lot more.

Benny was to submit all his manuscripts to Dr. Williams at Regent University when I was there. He never did it.

What’s the first clue to a cult leader?

    1.) Lack of accountability
    2.) Errorneous Biblical teaching
3.) They belong in a special class…defensive attacks (touch not)

The list goes on and on

  41. Dear All,

I am closely associated to Benny Hinn’s ministry, and many alike. My life has been changed upside down. I have a few questions to all those who gave negative comments:

1.) Have you met Benny Hinn in social time?
2.) Have u had dinner with him at his house?
3.) Have u spent time with him and his family?
4.) Have u done as much work as he does for the Kingdom?

If you answer “no” to most of these questions then you have no right to come against a fellow brother in Christ, who by the way is laying his life down for the gospel of Jesus Christ despite all “Critics”… Remember, when you accuse someone, then you allign yourself with satan himself, who is called the “Accuser”…

Love, Love, Love is the masterplan…

I will advice the writer of this blog to get into a good spirit-filled local church and get some direction!

    Regretfully,
    Concerned believer!

  43. If you answer “no” to most of these questions then you have no right to come against a fellow brother in Christ,

    Dear Brother in Christ,

Apostle Paul wrote Galatians 2:11 Now when Peter had come to Antioch, I withstood him to his face, because he was to be blamed; 2:12 for before certain men came from James, he would eat with the Gentiles; but when they came, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing those who were of the circumcision. 2:13 And the rest of the Jews also played the hypocrite with him, so that even Barnabas was carried away with their hypocrisy.

Well Benny Hinn is not only a hypocrite, a thief who steals the money of the dumb sheep with his $ 1,000 offering for 1,000 return scam but he needs deliverance from the demonic spirits that have caused him to make all the false prophecies – see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benny_Hinn

Hinn made a number of unfulfilled (religious) prophecies for the 90s, such as God will destroy America’s homosexual community in 1995 or the death of Fidel Castro,[6] election of the first female president of the USA,[7] the East Coast of the United States will be devastated by earthquakes,[6] etc., all before the third millennium. Hinn also appeared on the Trinity Broadcasting Network in October 1999 to claim that God had given him a vision that thousands of dead people would be resurrected after watching the network — laying out of scenario of people placing their dead loved ones’ hands on TV screens tuned into the station — and that TBN would be “an extension of Heaven to Earth.” Hinn has also claimed that Adam was a “superbeing” who could fly to the Moon; that God froze the Red Sea with his breath when he parted it; and that Christ would make a personal appearance at a crusade in Nairobi, Kenya in 2001.

In November 2006 the CBC Television show the fifth estate did a special titled “Do You Believe in Miracles” on the apparent transgressions committed by Benny Hinn’s ministry.[12] With the aid of hidden cameras and crusade witnesses, the producers of the show attempted to demonstrate Benny’s misappropriation of funds, his fabrication of the truth, and the way in which his staff chose crusade audience members to come on stage for televised healings.[13] According to the show the seriously disabled who attend his healings are interviewed and then weeded out from ever getting the chance to come on stage. Instead, those who have minor injuries are brought up in their place. [14] Benny Hinn claims proof from the faithful’s doctors that healings have been successful.[15] However according to the show none of these doctor notes have ever been produced as evidence to his claims.[16]

No one knows exactly what salary evangelist Benny Hinn pays himself annually from his ministry’s funds, but a decade ago he stated it was more than $500,000.

Since then sources say Hinn has apparently quadrupled his take to somewhere around $2 million per annum.

Estimates have placed the annual gross contributions made to Benny Hinn’s ministry at about $200 million.

How is it that this oily preacher manages to haul in so much cash?

Toufik Benedictus Hinn, aka Benny Hinn, has been repeatedly exposed in the news media and through Internet websites, yet people continue to donate to his ministry and flock to his crusades, in spite of the prophecies that never came to pass and miracles that never transpired when the people were followed up months later. The latest exposé on The Fifth Estate is just another `drop in the bucket’ and a rehashing of the same revelations which came before it (CNN, Dateline, apologetic websites, books, videos, ad nauseum).

Jesus lived a modest lifestyle and set the gold standard for righteousness. He never demanded the royal treatment, with private jets, motorcades, bodyguards, five-star hotels, expensive suits, luxury cars and mansions by the ocean. In fact, he took on the role of a servant, came riding on a donkey, and had no place to lay his head (which is the direct antithesis to Benny Hinn’s lavish lifestyle). There’s no mention of tailored suits, luxury cars and multi-million dollar mansions in exclusive gated communities.
Even if Benny Hinn donates some of his ministry money to charity, it doesn’t address the underlying fact that he is still living a life of material excess above and beyond his basic needs, which contradicts everything Christ stood for and preached. You can twist Scripture to justify anything (such as bringing up the fact that King Solomon was extremely wealthy and that since you’re a child of God, you also deserve to live like royalty) but you cannot fool God. If it walks and talks like a duck … then walk out because you’re in the wrong pasture.
Jesus heals for free and doesn’t qualify his miracles based on one’s monetary donation. Jacqueline Verville, Ottawa

  44. With his personal wealth of over $ 10 million Benny Hinn has to send out the following email on June 11, 2009

Urgent Message from Pastor Benny Hinn:Last-Minute Challenges Threaten Congo Crusade

I am writing to you with an urgent and very serious need so that together we will see a mountain moved for His glory.

In the midst of the widespread war that has decimated so much of the central region of Africa, God has opened amazing doors for us to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the capital city’s national stadium!

Democratic Republic of Congo Much larger crowds are coming than we initially anticipated. This is causing considerably higher production and preparation costs.

With just a few hours to go, we don’t have time to try to raise the extra funds through television or mail. I must come to you through the Internet with my urgent request.

An Extra $245,000 Must Be Paid Now!

  45. Jer1969
I suspect that your loking for ” love “in all the wrong places.True love ,the love of Christ is to be found in the bible, not neccessarily in a local “spirit filled” church and definitely not in anything that Benny Hinn does.
The four questions you posed about Benny Hinn are typical of retorts that i have seen of many a dodgy ministry, i recall Bill Johnson putting the same questions to an audience in Todd Bentleys defence!.
As for answers to your questions , a definite NO to the first three , and as for the fourth
FALSE PREACHER+FALSE GOSPEL = NO SALVATION!!!!
For a foolproof method of whether Benny Hinn is of the right spirit, test his actions and words against what the scriptures say.Don’t be deceived by this man any longer, it will cost you your life, seriously.

  46. Well said,Brad.Although it’s permissable to earn one’s living by preaching the Gospel, the millionaire lifestyle of certain so – called ‘evangelists’ makes a total mockery of the simple, unmaterialistic life led by the humble and homeless Jesus of Nazareth, not to mention His apostles.I doubt the present day mob would have lasted 5 minutes in the early church, that’s if they had even bothered in the first place. After all,it’s no use preaching a ‘God wants you rich’ prosperity gospel in a poverty struck world.A prosperity gospel can only be preached to people who are already reasonably well off in to begin with:otherwise there’s no point.A gospel like that preached in a poverty struck village in the average third world country can’t work because there’s not enough wealth to go round in the first place. That’s why prosperity preachers don’t generally bother with poor countries, except for the occasional gesture visit;there’s no money to be made.
