Christian prophecy for the church and for the nations from a servant of God called to speak God’s word

Paul Cain to appear with Todd Bentley at Tiger Town/ Joker Marchant Stadium

Last night (3rd May) according to another blog, Todd Bentley announced that ‘prophet’ Paul Cain was coming to speak at his meetings at Lakeland. Todd Bentley bought him a ticket and had him flown in so that he could speak about a prophetic word he gave in the past about healing revivals filling stadiums (the Joel’s Army prophecies that is, so Todd Bentley paid for a disgraced false prophet to validate his false revival). [Talk about perfect timing of releasing the prophecy on this site about Paul Cain, and the article by Debrorah on the New Breed]. Paul Cain is the prophet who ‘prophet’ Bob Jones declares to be the most accurate prophet to walk this earth. The late Vineyard leader John Wimber was so enraptured, bewitched, fooled even (as he later admitted when it was far too late to stop the damage) by Paul Cain – as he was by Bob Jones and other associated Kansas City Prophets – to literally millions of people’s costs - that Wimber introduced Cain in the 1990 Equipping the Saints  UK promotional tour (which I attended part of) as “the best wine for last”.  (When warned that Kansas City Prophet Bob Jones was immoral, John Wimber retorted “We know, that is why we only let him pray for leaders!”*)   R. T. Kendell of Westminister Chapel said of Paul Cain that he was ’his great and mighty conference partner’. [*source Jacob Prasch]

Paul Cain preaches Latter Rain and Joels’ Army heresies, and his history links him to heretic and false prophet of the Latter Rain William Branham. Paul Cain claims to have Branham’s ministering angels helping him – which is something Todd Bentley and Paul Cain have in common other than the spiritually dark New Apostolic Reformation, Kansas City Prophets and the Latter Rain covering over both of them.

The fact that Paul Cain is coming to speak at Lakeland double underlines all my concerns about this much hyped Florida Outpouring ’revival’ and its true  spiritual identity.  For a long time, Paul Cain was my prophetic hero. Until I actually asked God about him, that is. See this post here as to why I am concerned about Paul Cain and his ministry. http://endtimespropheticwords.wordpress.com/2008/05/03/a-prophetic-vision-of-prophet-paul-cain/

There is also some more information on Paul Cain here http://www.apologeticsindex.org/c06.html

Apart from being responsible for promoting the Joel’s Army heresy and the blasphemous Manifest Sons of God doctrine  and other Latter Rain heresies, Paul Cain is a well documented liar.

‘Liar’ and ‘prophet’ sadly do not go well together, as how can one believe a supposed mouthpiece of God who deliberately and consistently testified to the opposite of the truth over many years – and we are talking about more than false theology here. For years, Paul Cain had testified as part of his self righteous and doctrinally erroneous ’legend’ for setting himself up as a holy man and great prophet, that God/an angel had completely taken his sexual feelings away so he could live a life of celibacy -  but then it is revealed, actually not only had he been involved “with a woman I think in Scandinavia.” (source: John Wimber), but he was in long term homosexual behaviour even while he was falsely testifying he had no sexual feelings. (See Charisma Article below). And what is more, even when caught out by one  of his lovers reporting on him, Paul Cain still publicly lied, several times, before eventually confessing up.

For reference, for those who have not heard it, the well-repeated legend goes that in the 1950s Paul Cain was driving home from San Francisco after visiting his fiancee. Suddenly the Lord awesomely appeared beside him in the front seat of his vehicle.  ‘What do you think of the engagement, Lord?’ he asked. The Lord apparently just looked at him kindly. ‘But what do you really think about it? You don’t seem very pleased. Don’t you want me to be married?’ The Lord looked at him again and repeated softly, ‘I walked alone. ”Lord,’ said Paul, ‘if you don’t want me to be married I am willing to give up the idea but you will have to do something about my feelings.’  The Lord replied by simply placing his hand upon him. To Paul it felt as though fire passed right through his body. From that day to this, he said, he had never experienced any further sexual desire. That was Paul’s initiation into celibacy.” (from the book on the Kansas City Prophets, Some Said it Thundered  by Bishop David Pytches)

John Wimber also said of Paul Cain that Jesus, “physically touched him on the chest sometime later the lord visited him and touched him again and took all sexual desire out of his body… for over 40 years he’s lived with no cognizant sense of sexuality.”

This revelation in itself, according to the plumbline we test every prophet or teacher by – the Bible - is a doctrine of demons (even if it had not been proved to be untrue.)  “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry.”   (1 Tim 4:1-3)

Paul Cain saying the Lord told him this, and that He was jealous of his fiancee etc, should be a huge red flag waving a warning to anyone to guard and scrutinise anything and everything coming from the mouth of this so-called ’prophet’ so revered by the new breed of apostles and prophets. For if this encounter in this legend is true - (and it may not be true as people on the Christian circuit do  invent legends about stars or angels or other supernatural events in their lives – some even at or before their birth – in a bid to outdo William Branham’s legend which equally could be lies – yes shock, horror, some Christians lie!), then Paul Cain’s Lord is shown not to be the God of the Bible, and Paul Cain’s testimony indicates that he converses with demons he thinks to be the Lord Jesus and he prophesies for demons the doctrines of demons while claiming them to be from the Lord. [This is proven if weighing up Joels' Army against scripture, Joel's Army is shown to be antichrist]. And if the legend is not true, and it is just invented to set the stage, then this indicates intentional duplicity and charlatanism and lack of sincerity. It shows a false prophet and false teacher of the worse kind, not one who is sincere and well meaning but cold and callous and brazen. Certainly not the character of a man you should let speak to any Christian, far less prophesy to any church meeting or conference! [And how can it be true anyway when it was shown to be false by his sexual feelings evidently not being taken away, and worse perverse and unnatural ones, according to Romans 1, being in their place].

But the legend as well as being unnecessary and unscriptural is untrue. See the article below from 2004. Cain was given ample time to repent by Jack Deere, Mike Bickle and Rick Joyner, but lied and claimed on his website that there people were out to get him and were lying. He eventually confessed and removed these claims from his site.

Prophetic Minister Paul Cain Issues Public Apology for Immoral Lifestyle  http://www.charismamag.com/display.php?id=10627

After three ministers disfellowshiped Cain in October, he admitted to the charges and asked Christians to forgive him.

Veteran charismatic minister Paul Cain issued a solemn apology on Jan. 31 in which he repented for immoral behavior and pledged to seek counseling for his alcoholism.  Celebrated in charismatic circles for his accuracy as a New Testament prophet, Cain was disciplined and disfellowshiped by three church leaders last fall after they determined he had engaged in a pattern of unbiblical behavior that included heavy drinking and homosexuality.

Rick Joyner, Mike Bickle and Jack Deere released their charges Oct. 19 in a statement on the Internet. They also said Cain was unwilling to submit to a restoration process.

Cain initially denied the charges in a statement on his own Web site, maintaining that his reputation was being attacked. But three months later he decided to come clean.

“I am as guilty as I can be,” he told Charisma. “I am going for counseling. I am getting as much help as I can.”

Joyner, Bickle and Deere made their initial charges public because they found proof that Cain was involved in long-term homosexual activity and often got drunk, sometimes in public.

“We apologize to the body of Christ for our lack of discernment in promoting Paul’s ministry while he had these significant strongholds in his life,” their statement reads. “We hope that Paul can yet be restored and used again for the glory of God in the wonderful way that so many of us have been blessed to see in the past.”

Deere, who pastors Wellspring Church in Richland Hills, Texas, learned of the charges last year from a man who said he had been involved in a sexual relationship with Cain. Three witnesses also told Charisma that Cain drank heavily. The drinking got so serious that Cain once collapsed in public, one witness added.

Deere asked Joyner and Bickle to arrange a meeting in Moravian Falls, N.C., where they confronted Cain in April 2004. He initially confessed to the charges, Deere said. But later Cain retracted his confession and even sent out letters from doctors who vouched for his emotional health.

Now, however, Cain says he is no longer in denial.

“I have struggled with homosexuality for an extended period of time,” Cain said in his written apology. “I have struggled with alcoholism for an extended period of time. I apologize for denying these matters of truth, rather than readily admitting them. I am ashamed of what I have done to hurt those close to me and for the pain I have caused those who have believed in my ministry.”

Cain’s accuser, who spoke with Charisma but asked not to be named, is now undergoing spiritual rehabilitation. Meanwhile, Cain–who is 75– says he has no intention of going back into the pulpit anytime soon.

“I plan to take a low profile,” Cain said. “I promise to seek immediate help for my problems and submit to leaders in the body of Christ who will supervise my restoration.”

Cain has enlisted Korean pastor Daniel Kim of Destiny Training International in El Monte, Calif., to help him. Kim, who describes Cain as a “fallen general,” says he will serve on a committee of leaders who will oversee Cain’s restoration process.

“When a man of [Cain's] stature falls, there is often no support,” Kim told Charisma. “How we restore this man in mercy could end up being a lesson for the body of Christ.”

Kim said he believes Cain is also a “victim” in this tragedy because Christians sometimes idolize ministers and expect them to be super-human. “He had inner struggles and no one to confide in,” Kim said.

Meanwhile, Deere, Bickle and Joyner said they regret giving Cain a platform. “I think our basic mistake was to overlook a lot of serious and obvious warning signs,” Joyner told Charisma.

Deere agreed. “We all have preached that you never put gifting over character,” he said, “but that is what we did for Paul. We would have fired anyone else. The reason we didn’t is because of [Cain's] gifting. We let that gifting excuse character.”

Cain launched his ministry at age 18 during the Pentecostal healing revival of the 1940s and 1950s. But he vanished from the scene for more than 25 years, then re-emerged in the late 1980s when Bickle promoted Cain’s ministry at his Metro Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Kansas City, Mo.

Today Cain has homes in Kansas City, Dallas and Moravian Falls, N.C. But he says he plans to check into an alcoholism treatment center by the first week of March. If possible, he also hopes to complete a book he is writing, The Rise and Fall of God’s Anointed, which will include his memories of Pentecostal evangelists such as William Branham and A.A. Allen–men who, like Cain, experienced supernatural gifts of healing and prophecy.

“I never expected that I would be one of those fallen ones,” Cain said.”

His attempted restoration, just like Bob Jones and the others, was all too quick. Just one year. According to the following paragraphs of the “restoration” letter, it would seem that the deciding factor on his restoration was his income.

“He is 77 years old and has known only ministry as a source of income. During the restoration process, he has drained most of his assets and needs to be able to work. Though he has been able to pay for much of his care, individuals on the team have paid a large portion of the tab. While Paul Cain Ministries had some money in the bank account, Paul does not. He does not personally own the property in Kansas City.”

Those who would seek to block legitimate efforts for supervised self-employment need to realize that Paul is protected by law as well as by RTV Ministries to proceed with its agreed-upon process of restoration.

He is released to travel in ministry only in the full-time care of a traveling companion who is married, is more than 40 years old, is a licensed RTV minister or a part of the restoration team, and is responsible to update the team to Paul’s progress and needs on a regular basis.’ (from Cain’s website)

So what how old he is, or how much money he has or has not? Surely, even if a Christian minister had never publicly disgraced himself, finance or the lack of it should never be the motivator for any move into ministry anyway, far less as a prophet for hire!

The issue here is not just about Paul Cain’s morality, it is about his false prophecy, false teaching and heresy which has NEVER been repented of. He should never therefore be given platform in any church. In February 2007, although already released into ministry for some time before, Cain was publically accepted and welcomed back by many key players in the charismatic movement. Fifty nine years to the day from the inception of the Latter Rain movement in 1948, Paul Cain was welcomed at the Quantum Glory conference. Signs and wonders there included ‘angels feathers’ and gold dust courtesy of the ministry of Joshua Mills. Cal Pierce, an apostle from the Northwest, gave Paul a father’s blessing and prophesied that Paul’s greatest days of ministry were ahead of him and that he would have many spiritual sons and daughters. Michael Tyrrell and Snawn Bolz also had words basically saying it was time for him to get back into ministry…and wait, there was a new angel assigned to Paul Cain’s ministry. (from http://www.mountainofworship.com/karibrowningword.htm - note theAn army of radical revolutionaries are arising. I believe that God is about to change the understanding and expression of Christianity in our generation. The appointed time has come.’ which I will go more into in another article on Joel’s Army and the rise of dominionism).

Like I have said before, the fact Paul Cain is now with Todd Bentley really does say it all.

  1. May God have mercy on us all and open the eyes of the blinded before there is no way back from this deception.

What a terrible witness to those who have never encountered the True Jesus of the Bible. No discernment allowed or else those of us who do believe that God wants to confirm His Word with signs following are not being open to the Holy Spirit.

The 3-part article Derek Prince wrote about dealing with deception that you posted on this site has helped me immensely.

Thank you for a forum where these things can be discussed openly and thoughtfully with the Word of God as the foundation, rather than taking some ‘angel’s’ word for anything.

Have none of these people who rely so on their angelic visitations ever read about satan appearing as an angel of light?

  2. I watched Sunday night’s ‘event’. To see Paul Cain up there was a surprise, but really, not so unexpected considering.

A couple of quotes from Cain:

“I’ve been a celibate all my life”. And he’s still a liar.

“I’ve met the new breed”. It just keeps going doesn’t it? And people are still so easily led astray.

Have you wondered about the purpose of this?

  3. Scriptural evidence that the Lakeland Revival is not of God:

(2Co 11:4). For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

The “Jesus” that Todd Bentley is preaching is not the Jesus of the Bible. His “Jesus” doesn’t preach and emphasize deep repentance, denying self and carrying the cross, selling one’s possesions to give to the poor and needy, forsaking ALL to follow him, and freely bestows his “anointing” on all who have heretical or bad doctrine and loose, immoral lives.

The “spirit” that Todd Bentley is operating under is causing manifestations that DO NOT APPEAR anywhere in the Bible. He has been known to cause animal manifestations as well (clucking like chickens, barking like dogs, etc.), all of which are manifestations that have long been associated with pagan and heathen religions but are found nowhere in Scripture, except with Nebechanezzar at the judgement of God.

The “gospel” that Todd preaches is a gospel of seeking after signs and wonders. It’s hocus pocus. Angel feathers, gold dust, diamonds falling, seeing female angels, again, all of which are found nowhere in Scripture. Seeking after miracles and not after the face and heart and burden of God is a deadly delusion that will lead one straight into accepting “another spirit”. There are MANY spirits in the world, which is why we are called both to test the spirits, and to test those who purport to be prophets and teachers by their DOCTRINE. Their doctrine must be solid and sound, and Todd’s is more new age and hype than it is sound Bible doctrine.

(2Th 2:8-11). And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming. Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.

We need not say that just because there are many geniune miracles, that the whole move must be of God. The Anti-Christ himself will do many signs and wonders. And the mystery of lawlesness (anti-Christ deception) is already at work in the world. Anti-Christ doesn’t neccesary outright oppose Christ, instead, he counterfeits him.

(2Co 11:13-15). For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Angel encounters are a constant theme in his meetings, and people just soak it all up, not even thinking to seriously question it. But who is to say these angels are truly the angels of the Lord God, and not emissaries of Satan sent to deceive? Todd claims that his healing anointing comes from an angel, but there is no record in all of Scripture of an angel giving somebody an anointing. The Holy Spirit is the only One who anoints God’s ministers. If the anointing is from an angel, it’s a huge red flag.

(Col 2:18-19). Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshiping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.

Glean what you will from that Scripture, but do note this, it is a very dangerous thing to speak constantly of angels and to give them the glory for an anointing. I don’t want any part of an anointing from any angel, I only want the HOLY SPIRIT’S anointing, period. Because I don’t know whether it’s an angel of God or an angel of light sent to deceive.

(Mat 7:22-23). Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

    Note, just because somebody:
    1. Calls Jesus “Lord”
    2. Prophesies
    3. Casts out demons
    4. Does many *wonderful* works (which includes healing people)

Just because they do all these things DOES NOT mean they are of God! It’s not a few, but MANY, that do these things and do not belong to the true Jesus of the Bible. The Catholic Church still does genuine excorcisms (casting out demons) to this day but they are serious idolaters who preach ‘another gospel’. Signs and wonders is no proof of being genuine or not. The only way we can tell is by:

    1. The doctrine of the teacher (2 John)
    2. The fruit of their life (Mat. 7)
    3. Discerning of the spirit they operate under (1 Cor 12)

PLEASE PEOPLE RUN FOR YOUR LIFE FROM THIS END-TIME DECEPTION!!! IT IS A DANGEROUS THING TO EMBRACE ANOTHER SPIRIT THAT’S NOT THE HOLY SPIRIT!!!

Okay, watching Paul Cain on stage now at “the revival”. This has got to be the most incoherent, bizarre thing I’ve ever witnessed. Paul called Todd the end-time Elijah (where’d you hear that first folks And then Paul called Todd “the new breed”. Yeah, right. And he brought up James Goll. Trying to figure out what he was talking about between him and James Goll, that they had some sort of rift between them, and then he predicted that cancer would kill either him or his wife within a year if they don’t break the scars from wounds of accusations against them. And so they prayed for them.

But the thing was he made this inference that he, Paul, knew what it was to have false accusations against him – couldn’t be talking about his admission of homosexuality and alcoholism could he? I mean, he admitted it publically. Now he wants to claim it didn’t happen? Still watching, this is really sad stuff. I’ll assume Paul’s just too old to function properly cause I’d rather not assume he’s been drinking – it sure looks that way. He can’t remember anyone’s name, he’s rambling and calling out the most generic words of knowledge.

Well, the hype show continues and I’m sick over it. It’s the most depressing thing to see the gullible crowds and the complicit minsters lining up to jake up the hype. Unreal.

  6. I thought I might be the only one who wrestled with Paul Cain’s condition last night. He appeared either incompetent or drunk. Take your pick. I was horribly disappointed to witness the self-congratulatory remarks passed between Paul Cain and Todd Bentley. They were effusive in their adulation of each other. It made me sad that what could have been God, appears to be not. God can and will meet people at their need as it appears in some instances of reported healings. The fact that some people have been healed does not validate everything that goes on…. We need to be discerning.

  7. Hi,

Cain said those things onstage on Sunday night at the Stadium meeting – before James Goll spoke.

Bentley also released a grandfather’s blessing on Cain, which I found interesting considering I read yesterday what Joyner wrote on his website about honouring fathers (the greatest of which were the healing evangelists of the 40s and 50s).

So, obviously they’re working in concert with each other…

BTW I’m in Australia, so times may be a bit odd.

  8. MM:

So Paul Cain is lying and denying the past – and possibly still a drunkard? How can he have the audacity when there is his well documented apologies for his sexual misdeeds and alcoholism? (As well as his lies then?)

I think I read recently that James Goll was cursed by the new prophets with sickness for being critical or something, I’ll have to do some more digging…unless you know? If so he must be back in favor, or trying to earn favor. He has some very odd teaching on his site about healing. I wonder who will come out of the woodwork next?

  10. You people are delusional and appear to have major religious strongholds. Just like with any move of God, the proof is in the pudding. With Lakeland revival hundreds to thousands are being healed and coming to Jesus. Please do us a favor and stay locked up in your rooms and don’t talk to non-believers, cause you’ll probably just cause more damage with this type of hypercritical thinking.

You can work on your little blogs, just don’t talk to anyone.

Did you all forget that your righteousness stinks, All of you writing and adding your little comments on this blog, you smell like doo doo. Please repent of your doo doo mindsets.

I’m outta here, this place stinks.

  11. ‘You people are delusional and appear to have major religious strongholds. Just like with any move of God, the proof is in the pudding. With Lakeland revival hundreds to thousands are being healed and coming to Jesus.’

Dude, the issues being discussed here are really essential to authentic Christianity and spirituality. ‘The proof is in the pudding’, thats right, and the ingrediants are found in the Word of God and if moder claims of revival do not measure up the church has a responsibility to ‘test all things’.

Here are things which the NT encourages us to test

    Doctrine
    Prophecies
    Character
    Leaders/Elders
people who ‘claim to be apostles’
the gospel (read galatians) to see if it is the authentic gospel
    spirits
    our own conversion
teh fruit of a persons life

these are only some things, if we ignore these things and gulibly believe any bit of hype we are on shakey ground.

  12. Jeremy,
If you do not follow the things stated in the Bible, especially the New Testament stated by Jesus Christ and his Apostles…then you are not a Christian. Christians follow the New Testament.

I’m not saying this to be an ass, but for example, you’re not a Democrat if you don’t believe in big government influence, you would be a Republican or maybe even a Libertarian. You might even enjoy some Democratic ideas…but you are not a Democrat unless you contain all the beliefs that make one.

If you only believe and follow some of the New Testament, yet follow ideas or practices that are New age and belong to some other religions, then you are not a Christian. You are something else. A Latter Rainite, Bentleyite, Third Waver or whoever beliefs you hold, that is who you would be like or affiliated with. Just because you borrow from Christianity..doesn’t make you a Christian. Read the New Testament and see if your beliefs match up with it. You might be surpised.

This blog brings to light what Christianity was originally. If you do not like it…then don’t call yourself a Christian…call yourself something else.

And please, I don’t want to hear the ‘judgemental’ ’self-righteous’ crap. Really people … get a new argument.

But I’m not going to sit here and call myself a Hindu when I’m not. I’m not going to call Hinduism Christainity just because there is a deity involved. There are many distinctions between the two religions and faiths.

So, if you’re really proclaiming to be Christians, then read your Bible. Stop turning your noses up at it, as if it’s not good enough to match all your feel good revival experiences.
If that’s how you feel, then you’re turning your nose up at God’s Word and that should make you more then a little worried.

  13. Clearly a lack of discernment is going on in this revival. The Spirit of God still works through it because people are coming for Him. I think the lack of discernment is sad and opening up doors for much confusion. I read on another site that someone at this revival claims to have an angel named Brent.
I feel it’s people trying to act spiritual and outdo one another. Where is the Word of God in this revival? Paul Cain being restored for money is ridiculous. He could get a job you know, like the rest of us. I’d like to see him on this night preaching, anyone have a link.

  14. I think it is very interesting how people have such an easy time judging and writing these articles to criticise people, and judge men of God that have made mistakes. That is why these men have so much trouble recovering from these falls, because we think that their sins are not forgivable, and that when we make smaller mistakes in our minds, it is ok.

Please everyone, let us just grow up! Let us understand the true kingdom, and God’s heart is to restore, and let us not put another minister on that high of a again!!! They make mistakes!

  15. Comment from http://realchristianity.wordpress.com/2008/05/06/revival-shown-on-god-tv-or-is-it/

Paul Cain, one of the movements “super prophets” appeared at the meeting on Sunday night, who started his ministry in the 1940’s under the tent in the healing revivals. He says that Jesus appeared to him and told him to get rid of his wife to be because He was jealous of her. He then made a vow of celibacy, and up until 2003 he kept his secrets well hidden. During the time of 2003 Rick Joyner and others heard that he was living life as a homosexual and an alcoholic. They kept this secret for a year, then went public with it in 2004. They were happy to hide this man’s life in order to further their own kingdom. They offered this man restoration under them, he refused and claimed that the charges were false for 3 months, only to admit that they were all true. He went under restoration procedures and is now back proclaiming to be a prophet. Let me again say that I believe that this man can be restored and was proud to see this man once again take the stage and proclaim the Word of God and believed that he had been delivered. But his own words betrayed him in the end.

He called a young man, one of Bentley’s interns front and center, and prophesied over him. When he opened his moth to speak over this man he lied before God, the thousands there and the millions watching on TV. He told how he had vowed to live a celibate lifestyle and had done so for all these years. When he said this I couldn’t believe that he would stand and say that, how can a man that has come through a restoration process for homosexuality have lived a celibate lifestyle? But then I thought about it and realized how hypocritical this man had been during meetings, calling out people’s sins and all the while living his life as he did. I firmly believe many of these men have a lying spirit in their mouths and will stop at nothing to usher in the apostate church prophesied by Paul.

  16. Miriam,

    re Paul Cain, etc.:

Perhaps “the truth is not in them [him].”

  17. Thank God that some people will open their eyes, ears, and heart and realize how much of a fake this Todd Bentley and his crew actually are. Is there any evidence that ANYBODY has been healed at this show? I truly believe God can perform miracles but I don’t believe anything affliated with this show going on in Florida. I mean, I believe bible verses and the sickness that people have, but I don’t believe one word this Todd guy says. I don’t believe God called him into the ministry either. God would tell him to present himself as a clean cut man instead of a freak running around acting like a cowboy going “BAM BAM BAM”. My opinion and I’m entitle to my opinion and no I’m not judging this freak (Todd).

  18. Revivalist Todd Bentley Loves and Supports Sexual Perverts

Any revival that has the involvement of sexual perverts, such as Paul Cain and Bob Jones, is from the pits of hell and not from God! These liars, deceivers and conartists at the Lakeland Revival, including Todd Bentley and Stephen Strader, only see and hear what they want to see and hear and that is so dumb because others are not dumb like they are! They see the truth about this so called revival is nothing but a farce and a joke devoid of integrity no matter how many people they might deceive!

  20. Let’s see……Cain a a fag…Bentley is a ….who knows? Eccentric at the least.

Maybe ol Paul has got a thing for Todd. Must be his eccentric personality that brings out the lust in a homosexual like Paul Cain?

Either way…you knew this was doomed from the start but hey? Where’s IHOP Chief Mike Bickle in all this? Endorsing is he? Oh…now I bet he ain’t.

It’s called no discernment folks. Bottom line.

    Mirror mirror on the wall
whose the most anointed of us all?

We got more queers in the pulpit than Carter has pills.
