Christian prophecy for the church and for the nations from a servant of God called to speak God's word

Winds of Change Angel squeezing, shooting & bursting in the stratosphere

There has been a lot of talk about the odd angels, with odd names, and even odder behaviour tagging onto Todd Bentley’s Fresh Fire ministry, and that of his associated prophets and apostles. This ‘prophecy’ was on a previous post about the predicted Atlanta Outpouring here: http://endtimespropheticwords.wordpress.com/2008/05/18/predicting-the-atlanta-georgia-outpouring-starts-may-27th/ , but I wanted to flag this ‘prophecy’ up for those that missed it, as it is just so ridiculously unbiblical and new age. They’ll be talking about ‘portals’ next. Oh sorry, they already are. Have these guys been watching too much sci-fi or what?

“Jim Drown, a Fresh Fire associate from Atlanta, had a powerful encounter with this same angel while traveling back to Atlanta after being in the meetings with Todd. This angel declared, “I am the winds of change. I am going to be squeezed in Lakeland until I shoot up into the stratosphere where I will burst like a firework and fall down over the whole earth in facets and dimensions.”  Jim was so affected that he stopped the car and headed back to the meetings.”

  1. So as well as people impersonating lions, kangaroos etc we have angels impersonating toothpaste tubes-
    Squeezed in lakeland indeed………….

I wonde what other religions make of all this nonsense-
I bet the JW are saying to all their members’ we told you they were wrong-just look at them…’
Tragic and an insult to the Blood and the Cross of Jesus

  2. Since the Bible states that Jesus is the same, yesterday, today and forever, I would assume that the signs and wonders that accompanied Him would be as well. Why is it so difficult to believe that an angel of the Lord can appear to someone now than in Biblical times? Did not an angel appear to Mary and Joseph announcing the birth of Christ? Why wouldn’t one appear announcing the “birth” of what may possibly be the “final outpouring of the Holy Spirit on all flesh?” Please pray with me that Jesus will reveal the truth in all of this. God bless anyone who reads this and I pray for all of our eyes to be open to the truth!

  3. Kevin – I do not disbelieve in angels. Rather it is the nature of angels that is the problem, and also the focus on them. Ditto with prophecy, healing etc

  4. 2. kevin – I too share some of your comments BUT am so disturbed that the anointings are accompanied by the word BAMM. When I was anointed at a service here in UK the word Jesus and Holy Ghost were used. I also have felt drunk in the spirit, have been slain in the spirit also BUT I do believe we have to be watchful and keep our eyes on JESUS. I have witnessed healing of GOD but without all the hype.

  5. Look “bam” up in the dictionary and you’ll find out what it means. It’s a shortened form of the word bamboozle, which means to deceive. -Not a great thing to have “imparted” to you.

The “winds of change” angel according to Bentley on this clip: http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/355021 is the one that “ministered” with William Branham. It certainly led him into some pretty heretical beliefs and harassed him all his life.

  6. Brian -
Thanks for that bit of info regarding the origin of “bam”. Very interesting. Amazing how even when men like that try to conceal their true nature, the truth always reveals itself ~ we just have to be willing to recognize it!

  7. So, what do you think that Noah’s neighbors had to say about him?

Revival is messy – as long as human beings are involved in anything there will be mistakes. We cannot afford to be offended – that has kept the church separated and held back for far too long already.

Does that mean that God isn’t in it (because it’s messy)? Absolutely not – God is in these meetings. I have felt His presence. I have seen His Glory – I even saw something the first night that looked like a mist that moved in and out of the crowd – it could have been a manifestation of His glory – I’m not sure, but I was encouraged by the sighting.

Is He running the show? Not totally…but, given time and grace they’ll figure it out and figure out how to let go and totally trust God with the outcome – afterall, it is His reputation that’s at stake here – not ours.

Maybe we should be praying more and critiquing less…
afterall, Jesus is coming back for a pure and spotless Bride – our part in that is to make sure that we are individual members of the Bride of Christ are as pure and spotless as possible….

  8. Ellen, excellent statement. That is God given wisdom, if I’ve ever seen it.

I’ve seen this many times before; but, I have seen any true Biblical reference for this. Can you provide one?

  11. What happened to the “Come Burn” Atlanta Campaign? Anybody hear anything?

  12. If you saw a mist moving in and out of the crowd, Why would you think that was God’s Glory manifested. Do you think on the day of pentecost people were saying “well I wasn’t sure but I think God sent His Glory down on us?” No, They new it.. I pray for all who are decived by these false miracles. The bible gives us God’s Character, and sending Gold and jewels down from Heaven is not His character. When He sends miracles, he sends FAITH. for… “Our FAITHmore precious than gold that perishes” (1 Peter 1:7).

“The things which are seen are temporary, but the things that are not seen are eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:18). Why do we need to see? Shouldn’t the miracle of our salvation be enough? I am not saying there aren’t miracles. Anyone who says that is misled. But there will be many things disguised as miracles that are put here to fool us.

If I were trying to trick the world, what better way than to use gold and jewels. Please pray for discernment and read the Bible to learn who God is, then you will realize that these “miracles” are not of God, but of some other spirit…

In the name of Jesus, I pray for discernment. I ask that you lead us to the Truth. Father Open our eyes, while reminding us who you are, that we would not be decieved. Thank you for your Word, your Love, and your Grace.. In Jesus name. Amen
