Christian prophecy for the church and for the nations from a servant of God called to speak God’s word

Second Coming Antichrist Jesus to make Appearance on Lakeland Stage

Thanks to Sarah for telling us about this and giving the clip.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4Wc18CDsRA

Last night, Todd Bentley read out a prophecy from Wendy Alec of GOD TV. It was done to hype the Sunday night show (8th June – tonight) for the kingly anointing to fall.  Jesus apparantly said via Wendy Alec (you can hear it word for word on the video) that ‘I am coming in person to Lakeland. I am coming in the clouds, surrounded by chariots and a host of angels. I will set foot on stage in a divine personal one on one visitation to the revival.’

Todd reads this prophecy out, which could not be any clearer - he seems to be prophesying a Benny Hinn prophesied moment that has yet to occur for Benny Hinn – and then, as the camera records some concerned and gobsmacked faces (glad not all have hung up their brains completely), he suddenly explains about ‘the prophetic’ and justifies the prophecy.  He says ‘we don’t really mean Jesus coming in the flesh to see in person, we mean coming in the Spirit and in the atmosphere’.  Well that being the case, why not be clearer and more specific in the prophecy? (I am not convinced that Wendy Alec meant this anyway, I think she meant what she said as she said it). And if all  they are effectively saying is the Holy Spirit will be there tonight, what has been the Spirit or Spirits there every other night that they have ministered by? Have they not been the Holy Spirit too? Has Jesus not been ‘with them’ every night by their reckoning because of the Bible’s promises?

But Todd Bentley is not really talking about that.  NO, rather he is prophesying the second coming of Christ (as per Wendy Alec’s prophecy which refers to Second Coming events, albeit bastradised and corrupted) through the manifestation of the perfected sons of God.   (See here Manifest Sons and here Bobby Conner prophecy and Jesus Get off your throne  and Buford Dowell statement here.) This is not the biblical Second Coming of Christ where every eye will see Jesus return literally in the clouds at the end of the age, but a ’spiritual’ Second Coming of Christ through the body of the new church who become perfect God-men walking through walls and are immortal (NB Todd isn’t immortal). This army – Joel’s Army – headed by the NAR apostles and prophets are the very oracle of God as they are God who take dominion over the earth. This is another Jesus – an antichrist blasphemous one – sitting in God’s temple.

I have written before about what the Second Coming really means to Latter Rain adherents, and what the ‘glory’ really is. If you do yet realise how serious this, please do some research and forsake Todd Bentley and his antichrist impartation. Accepting Bentley’s kingly anointing means accepting an antichrist!

  1. Isnt the glory Gods attributes and nature revealed?
When abraham wanted to see gods glory, it was gods nature that were revealed.

The video reminds me very much of Ellen G white. She also spoke of chariots of fire when Jesus showed himself to her. She is btw a proven false prophet and teacher.

Perhaps wendy alec just made it up

  3. Could Jesus have made this any clearer? Nobody who has ever read these verses should be at Lakeland on 6/8/08. Jesus himself said “DO NOT BELIEVE THEM”. Amen.

    Matthew 24:

23″ Then if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe him.

24″For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.

25″Behold, I have told you in advance.

26″So if they say to you, ‘Behold, He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out, or, ‘Behold, He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe them.

27″For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.

I feel bad for the people on that video who so gullibly believe Bentley and Alec.

  5. I can’t believe they’re now plagiarizing old false prophecies of Benny Hinn to keep the Lakeland pod people away from their local churches Sunday night. They must be planning some enhanced occult impartations through the open portal tonight for Wendy Alec to market it this hard.

  6. This one is easy to disproof from the Word of God. All you have to do is read your bible which most of the people that are attending this pseudo revival are not. Read these verses and compare it to what Wendy prophesied and you will see that she along with Todd Bentley, Bob Jones and company are false prophets.Mathew 24:36, Acts 1:7-8, 1 Thessalonians 5:1-2, Mathew 24:24, 2 Thessalolians 2:9-10. Specially read Hebrews 5:14, Psalm 138:2, Psalm 119:105. God NEVER violates His Word! Psalm 89:34 (King James Version)

  8. I don’t know how many of you are watching the “revival” right now, but there is a VERY strange spirit at work there tonight. My husband had to get up and leave the room. They’re about an hour and a half in right now, and I have to say – when they predicted that tonight would be different, they were right. But it’s a dark force at work, and it leaves my spirit very uneasy.

The worship leader sang for several minutes specifically calling for the “Winds of Change” to appear. And taking into consideration Todd’s relationship with said spirit, I’m sorry to say that I think it has.

  10. I tuned in tonight and literally….BAM! Within about 5 seconds the strange spirit was drilling full bore through Rob DeLuca’s mouth saying Jesus is here now and there should be “no control” of anything. Demanding people get on the wave and not think about where it’s going because if you do you are touching the anointing.

The Lakeland spirit hates the discernment of the Holy Spirit and is enraged and on the counterattack now. It goes with the recent Bentley statments that witches and warlocks and demons are now attacking his gig.

  14. PRAYER ALERT RE LAKELAND http://www.goodnews.netministries.org/kathie.htm

I FELT AN ALARM YESTERDAY – I believe that the Lord showed us that the same Druid Spirit that went after Todd in Wales a few years ago is after Todd in Lakeland.

I believe this spirit does have power to take people out if they are not watching and protected by prayer. They also do have power to call up storms and tornadoes etc. Nothing is automatic friends – please pray.

There are so many negative words being released and spoken against this healing move, and against Todd. These words are empowering the Druid spirit. If you don’t understand how the Druids worked against the Christians, read my two Celtic Books “Columba the Celtic Dove” and “Celtic Flames.”

I am not trying to be an alarmist but there is an invasion of the enemy into Florida right now -

    Thanks for praying -

  16. To the person who wrote this -

“As I’ve been taping the the Lakeland revival, I watched the day where you quoted Todd reading Wendy Alec’s prophesy. I can’t believe you would blatantly exaggerate the happenings of that evening. There was no one in the audience who made any facial gestures or appeared shocked at Todd’s reading of Jesus being present in the meeting on the 8th

Also, it is wrong of you to assume you know what he meant when he explained the prophesy. Be careful, Mariam, that you do not become arrogant and presumptuous.

I’ve read your prophesies and claims to visions, the latest being the one of Rick Warren. And where I’ve never personally been a Rick Warren fan, I can’t believe that you believe that God would expose him to you in such a way. And if and when God does this, it is not for you to report it on some website that you have set up in a way that some could say was self exalted…..as this seems to be the big accusation.”

I linked to a tape of this meeting so there was no point in saying something was untrue. I did not exagerate. Many fools cheered and clapped and whistled but there was some notably uncomfortable looking faces in that audience too. Weren’t you uncomfortable and shocked by what they said then? Or were you perfectly happy for this prophecy to be made? Are you one of the hyped up whistlers heralding in the coming of an antichrist?

Why was it wrong of me to ‘assume’ what he meant in that prophecy when I know what Latter Rain prophesy? If you knew Latter Rain teaching you would know what he meant too and would know I have not assumed but quoted them. There is no asusmption about it! Have you bothered reading up yet about Latter Rain and Manifest Sons, despite your continued presense on this site, and your claim to like truth over manifstations? Or do you just assume Todd is a nice guy and does not really believe in Manifest Sons even when he blatantly continues to prophesy and preach it. Aren’t you being arrogant and presumptious by not being spiritual and being fleshly, and not being obedient to God’s word on many levels? And assuming others do not know when they do know – because you do not like their conclusion. That is hypocrisy!

Why do you continue to defend this heretic and liar and blasphemer? You know his bad fruit already. Is your heart and mind really so warped?

As for Rick Warren, sure God exposes him, why not when he leads multitudes astray in his name? Read your bible better where people and their doctrine are named and shamed. You just do not like what I say – as compared to who I name – at least admit it!

    Love truth!

  17. Sandy B -

I noticed the same thing about DeLuca. He actually said there was no place for control in the move of God. I guess he’s forgotten that one of the fruits of the spirit is self-control. He sounded very angry, kept making strange facial contortions, and again referred to people questioning this revival as using witchcraft.

And I couldn’t help but wonder why Todd never spoke? What was up with that? Last night’s service creeped me out so much that I’m taking tonight off. I’ll check in with you guys tomorrow to see if anything notable took place. But I will continue to be in prayer with you all. God bless.

  18. He never spoke at all? What he just sat there? Did he minister? What happened briefly?

    Comment by endtimespropheticwords | June 9, 2008

  19. He was there – I even commented to my husband that he must really be expecting it to be a big night (I’ve never seen him wear a jacket before). He paced around some during worship, and he, along with several others on the platform, laid face down for several minutes. But after worship, DeLuca took the mic and said something like, “Todd came over and asked me to take it & run with it, so that’s what I’m going to do. Are you guys ready to ride the big wave tonight?!” Something like that. But no, Todd never addressed the audience at all. DeLuca called out prohesies & who was being healed, just like Todd does. He seemed very angry about something. I’m telling you, there was something very strange going on in last night’s service. VERY weird vibe.

    Comment by Sarah | June 9, 2008

  20. Maybe he was expecting Jesus or some angels to show up physically somehow as per Wendy Alec’s prophecy? (Todd should have known his father, the devil, is a liar and cannot be trusted)

  21. Ps what Todd or Rob was angry?

    Comment by endtimespropheticwords | June 9, 2008

  22. Rob seemed angry. He (Rob) also addressed attacks on the revival over the last several days by demonic forces and people practicing witchcraft.

    Comment by Sarah | June 9, 2008

  23. Attacks on the revival in terms of criticism – or more?

    Comment by endtimespropheticwords | June 9, 2008

  24. Does this also mean the Kingly anointing was not imparted and it was not a big night like he falsely prophesied it would be?

    Comment by endtimespropheticwords | June 9, 2008

  25. He didn’t specify what kind of attacks, but I’m assuming they’re referring to people like us warning others against this deception. He went on to tell everyone (as was previously posted by Sandy B) to quit trying to “control” the move, and used a surfing analagy, saying that when you jump on a wave you don’t know where it’s going to take you, you just “hang on and RIDE!” He warned everyone about all the “rebellious spirits using witchcraft” against the outpouring in Lakeland.

And yes, I think Todd stayed in the background because of the unfulfilled prophesy about Jesus appearing. I don’t think he knew how to handle it. I’m not sure what he was thinking. As I said, and I really don’t think I can overstate this – the service left me with a very strange feeling.

What I really find amusing about all the critics that I have encountered is that none display the love of God or lift up the name of Jesus. My question is where is your fruit in the essence of your words.? Its easy to criticize It takes time to bear fruit.

    “all, … none”? Gerrie, that’s a pretty all-encompassing statement.

I love my children dearly, and because I do, I not only set limit for them, but give them warnings about things that might hurt them. That what I see God doing through Miriam and others here. Love isn’t always ooooey gooey, sticky “annointing” and “gloooooooory”. Sometimes it has to say “NO, DON’T GO THERE”, or “NO, DON’T DO THAT”.

Maybe you don’t understand. God warns us about things that can hurt us. If you can’t see that, maybe you need to have your eyes opened a bit more. The fruit in the essence of the words posted here is that God loves us enough to warn us of deceptions of the enemy of our souls.

The cross was an ugly, shameful, disgusting place. It was a place of shame, dishonor, and death. I hope you can see the love in that.

  39. Dave:

Yeah, you sure wouldn’t be doing your child a favor if you never told him the candy will rot their teeth. Although they fight yell and scream they want the candy you at least know that there is a limit to how much they can have. Then when you point out the good food, spinach, sauerkraut, liver, beans, and many other unlikeable foods, you at least know it’s much better for them. And in time even they come to that realization, and will actually thank you for it. What I see is exactly that in many main stream revivals, they teach the candy, which actually makes them babes in Christ if they are indeed in Christ, when the adults are saying hey, that food will rot your souls. You need the food of patience, seeking and waiting, some hardship in life, times of testing, life’s experiences, eating the meat of the word, not the candy of it. This in turn is really the only way to grow strong and healthy, otherwise you’ll get sick on all that candy.

And if truth be known, and I can say this from first hand experience, we fight kicking and screaming at the growth pains. We just know, so we think, that God must be mean, he wont let us eat what we want. When in all reality it is for our own good, and don’t know it at the time. Hind sight is twenty twenty so long as we stay at the table long enough to eat. But if you really want the candy instead, leave it up to the enemy, and he’ll give you all you want.

  40. What the seducing spirits(1 Timothy 4:1-2, Peter 2:1-4) that are working thru these people in this pseudo revival are calling a spiritual attack. It is simply the saints of God exercising their spiritual authority (Mathew 18:18, Luke 10:19, Mark 16:15-20)and binding them from operating their deception upon the people. Thru our prayers we are hindering them from fully manifesting their plan, so they ( the evil spirits) are upset and are calling it a spiritual attack. Therefore continue to bind the strongman (demons) Mathew 12:29 and we will spoil his goods. Remember the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty thru God to the pulling down of storngholds. ) 2 Corth 10:3-5, Ephesians 6:10-18

You said “…is that none display the love of God or lift up the name of Jesus…”

That statement is in fact a lie. Numerous posts prove that as a material and blatent falsehood.

So are you going to acknowledge you lied, and repent, or stick with the lie? Pretty much the same question that Bentley and his associates need to answer.

The choice is yours. You know who the father of lies is, and you know who is the truth. Whose side are you on?

    Comment by Dave | June 9, 2008

  49. End Times you can bind the strongman go back and read the scripture again. Todd Bentley is not the antichrist. He is simply someone that has been deceived by the devil becuase he has from his new birth been around very flaky and unscriptural people who themselves were tainted by demon power.I understand that the antichrist will be given permission to do what he does during the tribulation period. We are not dealing with him. Prayer and excersise of our authority as belivers is very important. When false teachers came to the Galatians church Paul first handled it in prayer and than he rebuked them and gave them the word. We need to do both. To ridicule Bentley and those that work with him does not edify anyone nor does it help the cause. We have to point people to the truth which is God’s Word and let them see for themselves. John 17:17, John 8:31,32, Hebrews 5:14.Read Galatians 4:19, Isaiah 66:7-8. Those are references to intercessory prayer.

After listening to Bob DeWaay’s excellent expository series on Rick Warren, I could easily see RW being right up there in the running. The “porpose driven” (misspelling intentional) claims to have 400K “churches” worldwide lined up to fulfill the PEACE plan. Talk about power and influence in an ungodly way.

  54. C Peter Wagner is more than ‘an’ antichrist, he is a major player. I believe his movement to be part of the end time beast and he is also has the false prophet sidekick, and they aim to converge with Rick Warren and the Catholics and the interfaith all into one. Is he or Rick THE final man of perdition? I don’t know….but he and Rick, is certainly preparing the way and currently leads a beastly lot of apostles and prophets (beastly in more ways than one).

  55. Wow Miriam! I just went back and read some of your articles regarding Rick Warren, and was amazed. Our church (I go to a large AG church) did this big month-long study based on Warren’s book. I read part of it, but my family was in the middle of a move, job change, etc., so we didn’t go to all the classes. It really bothers me that my pastor lead the congregation in that direction, but then again, I recently heard him say that Muslim extremists have “hijacked” Islam, and that the Qur’an teaches peace (It in fact teaches the exact opposite).

It’s very disconcerting that so many pastors can be so deceived, and the flock usually just eats what’s fed to them, with no study and testing on their own. And I have to admit, if I HAD gone to the classes, I might have swallowed it too. But no more, buddy! The hour is getting too late – we cannot afford to accept everything without testing. There are too many spirits out there just waiting for us to walk right in their trap!

  57. One can only wonder how much pain and agony that could have been avoided if christians today were taught how to discern.
In stead of encouraging the sheep to discern the spirits, the sheperds have encouraged them to be uncritical and go with the flow.
No wonder Lakeland ‘revival’ is filling stadiums and beeing so contagious….

  58. umm.

I don’t think we are at the very end of things yet.

Sorry to stick my neck out, but there are some things that haven’t happened yet that need to happen.

We aren’t hated by ALL nations yet. Are we in the last century before Jesus returns? Probably. Last 50 years? Possibly. However, we need to be aware that our Heavenly Father is flexible and does not want anyone to perish …

But we can see that God’s Wrath is being revealed on the UK very clearly. When people give God up, God gives people up … to their own desires (read exodus again.) If people harden their own hearts, God will then harden them some more. That is happening to a greater and greater extent in the UK.

    Even so, come Lord Jesus!

    Shalom.

  59. You know, I’ve been thinking about why Todd never spoke Sunday night (the night Jesus was supposed to make a personal appearance). I wonder if he’s going to say something like, he had to let DeLuca take the service because he (Todd) was in an open vision having that one-on-one visitation with Jesus? That would be so like him, wouldn’t it?

Comment by Groovy Girl (formerly Sarah) | June 10, 2008

  60. I knew it! Todd just said, “People have been asking me, ‘Todd, where were you Sunday night? Why didn’t you minister that night?’ Well, I’ll tell you – I was so overcome by the glory, I couldn’t minister if I had to! I was involved in the one-on-one visitation with the Lord!”

Too bad the rest of us weren’t worthy to witness the prophesied “personal visitation of Jesus” on the stage in Lakeland. Guess we’ll just have to take Todd’s word for what Jesus said.

  61. Ha ha ha, that is too funny Sarah! He is so predictable.
I guess he had to vindicate Wendy Alec’s prophecy, seeing as how they broadcast him all across the world. The great media revival, the great technology that allows all people to see and feel God’s glory. As Todd has said on a couple of occasions, “how else do you think all eyes will see Jesus when he comes back?” (if not by satellite, live on God TV!)

  62. Sarah,

Hey, with posts #59 and 60, it looks you’re ‘growing in the prophetic!’

  63. I am so grateful for these online Blogs.. people get HOT, Emotional and on FIRE!! Fire Fire Fire!!! God is working mightily. as the Bible says, Iron sharpens Iron!!!.. This outpouring is a Division between light and darkness, hot and cold, the born again and the unsaved, the religious and the true believers. The Prophesy is NOW being fulfilled, Jesus said in Matthew 10: 34-37 “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me”

Todd is a man. God uses men. God uses anyone he chooses. Usually God chooses the lowest of men, unlearned, unordained, to humble the proud, to confuse the wise, to judge the rulers. Jesus said the greatest born of women was John the Baptist – most people today would not invite him into their homes because he looked wild, preached wild, lived wild!!! contrary to comfortable outward pious proud Religious lifestyle.

I agree that there can appear to be much hype and fleshly activity going on.. but many critics fail to acknowledge that the Bible says to come into God’s presence with Joy, thanksgiving and Praise, we are told to wake up our souls and that is a process (call it hype if you like – hype yourself up – seek God with all your heart soul and mind!!). There is also an ignorance to acknowledge that regardless of who the preacher is, whether his intention is fraudulent or not, that when the Word of God in the name of Jesus (from the Bible) is preached, God cannot deny Himself and is faithful to His Word, and therefore regards the hearers of the Word: “if anyone” believes in their heart, without doubt in the Word of God, they will be granted according to their FAITH”. we are called to walk by faith from beginning to end, but Faith without works is dead therefore it is practical and true to expect an outworking of faith, ie miracle. It is not about who the preacher is but what he says the Word of God says, and when these are in alignment, POWER is released!!!

Todd Bentley feeds the poor, looks after the homeless, visits those in prison, helps the widow and orphan (which the Bible says is True Religion) – can any critics claim the same?.(let alone true believers) . No money, not one cent from the revival goes any where near Todd’s personal finances. I would fear God and not Judge lest though be found to be judging Gods Servant. I challenge any critic to listen to Todd’s teachings and sermons >> refer Media Files >>
    http://www.freshfire.ca/
I too started out dubious and have since found repentance – as Todd clearly states, it is only HIM Jesus Christ, risen from the dead that we should seek, not man.
Spiritual things are discerned by spiritual people and as in Jesus day so it is today, the light shines in a dark place but men perceived it not for their ears are dulled and their eyes dimmed, lest they should hear and see and believe and be saved. The greatest Prophets in the Bible were the ones most persecuted and commonly killed by the masses, even the Lord Our Saviour came to His own, but they received Him not..

I thank you Father God for using Todd Bentley, I forgive the critics and pray that you give them understanding, wisdom and patience to hear the full story, rather than pieces of Your mysterious work in using such a humble man as Todd Bentley. I believe you Jesus Christ are the one and only true way to God and that there is salvation in NO other name under heaven. The name of Jesus Christ. AMEN & AMEN.

  64. “Islam is currently working to unite their own house and prepare to merge with the Blair Warren Project. One Faith, One World, One Purpose”

This is very true… and with the E.U. Poster everything is begining to line up…… and how the Pope has been meeting with Muslim leaders in the vain to merge Catholic, Islam and Christian faiths together.

  65. I’m reading. I’m trying to understand the overall point of view here on this site. There are some good points. There are some things I want to research further, the Latter Rain for one. But I also see judgemental hatred and critisicm and self-righteous pride; subjective opinion. Check.

I too, was watching when Todd read that prophecy from Wendy Alec. So if that prophecy is in error, blame Wendy. Why would anyone believe that Jesus Christ in person, in the flesh, would appear on stage at a specified time and place? Perhaps he should not have read it. I’m not sure why he did.

I drove the distance and attended Lakeland on June 8th. There was only One who was given glory that night; the Lord Jesus Christ. Yes, Israel was prayed for, blessed, and those who are Jewish were prayed for and blessed. A man did a short teaching on the proper use of a Shofar and blew the Shofar twice throughout the time of worship. It was truly an amazing night.

I am not dissing anyone here, so don’t misunderstand me. I am for structure and doctrine and sound Biblical teaching, etc. But I am also for understanding that God causes things to be new and fresh every morning. No two fingerprints are the same. God is not limited, we are. We can be limited by our own mindsets too, by our own unbelief and doubt, or by our beliefs about doctrine. Ask God. Seek God.

Where can I find info on the Latter Rain that has been mentioned several times? I would like to read more on that.

Please read the Ernie Gruen Report. Its a bit messy, and very long, but describes very well the heretic latter rain movement.

  67. I’ve been watching this revival for a long time and what I hear and see really don’t bother me. As a matter of fact I rejoice in the Lord and bless this ministry and God bless Todd and the team for their willingness to obey God eventhough some people will not agree with them. Since I’ve been watching this revival I have been energized and I am more hungry for God than ever before. I want to draw closer to Him and I want to be used by God to win souls for Christ.
There are a lot of people that are already bringing condemnation and judgement to this MOVE OF GOD but what I see are people getting healed in JESUS NAME and has come to know the LORD JESUS and if this revival is of the devil? then Satan is not doing a good job or satan is doing a better job than christians because he is causing a lot of people to get healed in

  68. When God.tv aired Starting the Year Off Right Conference(–Chuck Pierce home church at Denton, TX) I watched C. Peter Wagner commissioned by decrees and declarations, Dutch Sheets (of Colorado Springs) with a ‘prophetic mantel’ (symbolized by a prayer shawl) to be Wagner’s chosen ‘vehicle’ (prophet) of our nation and Dutch said of the ‘nations.’ Jay Swallow, Nigel BigPond, Cindy Jacobs, Chuck Pierce and others in the NAR were Conference participants.

  71. dear endtimes prophetic,
I have been on your blog site for an hour or so now – for the first time – and I can’t seem to find you saying anything good about any of the most well known preachers, teachers, prophets (now I wonder if any of them are prophets) and ministers of various kinds. Is there no one we can trust?
