Todd Bentley claims to be 100% pure in heart – more arrogance

Saint Todd of Lakeland claims God said to him in a vision that he, Todd, was ‘pure in heart’, and more than that, he says that God said there was NOTHING in Todd’s heart that was not pure. See the video evidence here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRJX55HkY1k

‘There’s nothing in your heart that is not pure, you totally love me and totally want me…’

Wow, that is some claim for anyone, let alone for a deciever like Todd who repeatedly lies and has shown his heart is FULL of impure things! Indeed does not even Jeremiah lament that the hear is decietfully wicked and who can know it? And who, however consecrated and loving, can honestly say they TOTALLY love God and TOTALLY want Him with all their heart, mind and soul without even a hint of wordliness or other pulls?

Anyway, this apart from being boastful bragging elevating himself and his man made works, and being deluded, also links into the same old heresies associated with this spirit and impartation, of sinless perfection  and immortality  in this life - immortality being something else which Todd has also preached on at Lakeland.

  5. Love is defined in the Bible as obeying God. I see alot of disobedience in this guy’s life, including lying, exaggerating, pride, punching people, deception, simony, etc. So he, like the rest of us, have a long way to go.

  6. I just got an email, about a scholarly person by the name of Dr. Gary Greig of whom I have never heard of. He has written and article on the net supposedly defendly todd bentely. On this page though there are many who refute mr. Greigs claims with sound biblical advice and confirming the information brought forth here. What is interesting to note is that when I was reading this, I saw a connection between my dream and this, as it was a library like setting, now supposedly Drs. learned men are trying to defend the lies of bentley. I am greatly concerned about the possibilitiy of mr. bentley being around children. I pray someone will alert the authorities down there to investigate this guy. Children must be protected.     No, no, no. There’s plenty of folk for both Bentley and Hinn. They ‘preach’ to a different crowd. Bentley looks better in black anyway — his usual attire.
