Chuck Pierce Statement on Lakeland Outpouring and Todd Bentley
A Personal Note from Chuck Pierce in Africa Regarding Revival!
Dear Friends,
We have had several people write with great concerns about the current move of God that has been stirring in Lakeland, Atlanta, Dallas and other areas of our nation.
[End times note - Note the presupposition it is GOD stirring the outpourings in Lakeland and Atlanta, without any backup to this claim.]
Let me share some things with you. I actually believe this letter would be worth reading as you continue praying for us in Africa.
We have made our way into Northern Nigeria. Continue to pray for us. Life here is what you may have imagined in Africa: tin roofs, raining, hazy mountains in the distance and bugs buzzing. When we got five miles from the Compound in the rural area of Kafanchan at the Throne Room Trust Ministry, International Prayer Village, you could feel the tangible Presence of His Spirit.
[End times note - note the theory that there are man-made geographical areas ("man-made" being via prayer, or spiritual warfare or prophetic decrees by 'anointed' individuals) that are more anointed than other geographical areas. These anointed places supernaturally affect their surroundings for miles around - eg portals or revival hubs like at Lakeland. (See here for more on open heavens, portals and hubs.)
Chuck Pierce claims that 'you could feel the tangible Presence of His Spirit' for miles around - well apart from needing to take what Chuck Pierce says with a pinch of salt both prophetically and literally (see previous articles on this site on him: http://endtimespropheticwords.wordpress.com/category/chuck-pierce-dr-charles-pierce/) that is a poor statement rationally and theologically and literally in general.
Chuck Pierce means HE and possibly his companions 'felt' the tangible presense of the spirit as they approached their base. But they knew where they were and where they were going - so even if this is a true tale (and there is no guarantee it is, given Chuck and his companions' prior track records), then how does Chuck know his 'tangible' feeling was not an emotional or psychological reaction to what he already knew was there - that is an anticipated or expected response? Or even a homely glow and emotional relief to be finally near journey's end after a long dusty journey over poor roads?
Furthermore, if the 'glory' really dwelt in this location to such a degree that people 'feel' it, then do others not linked to this centre within that five mile radious of 'glory' feel 'it' too? I doubt it, meaning that it is either psychologically induced and/or a new apostolic invention (= lie).]
I love being here, even though the surroundings are not what I am normally accustomed to; the food is different, and well, yes, there are many different creatures. The main issue is this: in the midst of this environment, I am not afraid of being infected by malaria or getting dysentery because I am in a different land. The people here are some of the most gracious in all the world.
[End times note - what Chuck Pierce is trying to say is that because it is different to his normal surroundings in the USA, he is not afraid to try it out, nor will he condemn the people there for being 'different'. He makes the point of saying how gracious they are. What false prophet and kabbalist Chuck Pierce is decietfully really trying to do, is compare his trip to a foreign land to spiritual experiences - he is saying we should not be afraid to embrace new and different moves as the people although very different are really very gracious in this new move!
This of course, is not Biblical truth. A trip to a foreign land cannot be compared to 'trying out' spiritual truthes. While we do not need to be afraid of anything, let alone of new or of different things, if the new things that manifest are contrary to God and His Word as revealed in the Bible, we should have no part of them - and more than that warn aloud of them. This applies however sincere or 'gracious' the people passing them on are - and it has to be said Todd Bentley lacks both sincerity and graciousness, even in the most elementary forms.
Strange fire is still not accepted at the altar of God - though Chuck Pierce would say the people offering it are 'new', 'different' and 'gracious', God will have no part of it, nor should we.
Furthermore, though Chuck Pierce claims he is not afraid of dysentry, or of malaria, or of any African fevers, you can bet he takes precautions - he has mosquito nets, wears long sleeves, takes any vaccinations or medications, drinks only bottled or boiled water, and would not knowingly and willingly drink diseased water or allow himself to be bitten by a feverish tsetse fly. If Pierce was bitten by a diseased rabid animal, then you can bet he would seek to get a rabies jab as soon as he could to inoculate himself from deadly disease.
Our precaution is obeying God's word by testing the spirits and refusing strange fire. Our innoculation if we are bitten is confession and repentence.
However Chuck Pierce, by asking us to accept the doctrine and impartation of demons is going further beyond 'trusting God' (and how can we say we truly trust God when we brazenly disobey him and do not rely and lean on His word?)] by asking us to knowingly drink of poisoned lakes and to willingly and mindlessly swallow Todd’ Bentleys stinking diseased and polluted garbage. More than that, when people are bitten by this rabid impartation, they are not encouraged to seek an innoculation, rather they are encouraged to get ‘more’.].
I see that some individuals view “moves of God” this way: they see all the dangers,
[The Lakeland Outpouring is not a move of God except in the sense of God allowing a grand delusion for people who will swap the truth for a lie. However, even if it really were a true move of God in the sense Chuck Pierce means it, what is wrong with seeing all the dangers. Does one go rock climbing without ropes and crampons and a good pair of boots? Does one go camping at the Grand Canyon in August without a supply of ample water or letting others know where you are just in case?
.... they are afraid that they will have a demon transferred to them,
[I am not afraid I will have a demon transferred to me. However, I know I could have a demon or demons in some way transferred to me, if I accept the doctrines and impartations of demons and stupidly and willfully disobey God.
Chuck Pierce's analogy here is like sneering at people who refuse to join a witchcraft ritual in case they get a demon. Most Christians would refuse to do such a thing, not because they are AFRAID of demons, but because they are afraid of God and will not meddle with the occult and the forbidden. Why too would they want dark binding evil deception when they can have truth and liberating freedom in Christ Jesus? It is like Chuck Pierce is playing a game of proverbial chicken, and saying 'come and get some, what you afraid of Christian, pluck pluck, are you afraid you'll get a demon? Chicken! Look at me, I am adventurous and blessed! Squawk!' - (speaking of chicken, by the way, anyone noticed how much C Peter Wagner looks like Colonel Saunders?!)]
they analyze every move and shake and scrutinize doctrinally everything that is happening.
[As they should do, for the Bible commands us to test and weigh everything. Chuck Pierce, however, demands people do not test and do not think but just accept what he and the spiritually abusive new apostles say without question - what does this say about his and his associates fear of being found out for what he is - a blatant deciever, a false prophet who has been shown to prophesy the kabbalah? And what does it say about their Nazi like controlling mentatality that controls and intimidates and has no place in the true word of God?]
This may be the only way that some can process their relationship with the Lord and the Body of Christ.
[How patronising! Notice the inferrence that he and his prophets who do not test, who do not abide by scripture, are on an elite superiour level.]
I know that many would not like to be here in northern Nigeria in this rural area, nor would they like to be wearing the kingly, African traditional clothing that I am wearing this evening.
[note the insinuation he is a king]
Some of us are more adventurous than others. Some need to fully test the water before they swim.
{So Pierce is saying, go swim, regardless of whether it is in polluted shark infested waters. Do not test it, just go with the flow. This is the complete opposite of everything the Bible stands for, which commands us to test everything before accepting it. It is not a case of an adventurous spirit vs an unadventurous one, but rather of keeping within the will of God, obeying the Bible, and elevating and honoring true prophecy over false. Shall we all be adventurous, and jump off a cliff? Shall we all be adventurous, and go to hell? Shall we all be adventurous, and sin, sin, sin? (Recognise who is talking through Pierce yet?)
In Todd Bentley’s case, it is not as if one has to spend months puzzling and weighing him, his teachings and his impartations up with a magnifying glass - he is perfectly brazen and shallow and even if you are an immature Christian, you can see upon even basic examination (if you want to and that is the IF) he is not a man of God and he, his prophecy, doctrines and impartations should not be accepted by you or your kin – unless you hate God.]
Personally, I have found that there is great joy in watching God’s people express themselves, work through their issues, learn to discern both good and evil and continually mature in Him.
[So basically Pierce is recommending that in order to 'mature' in God we need to be adventurous and try out anything - even when it directly contradicts the word of God and is from demons. Let's all be Satanists, by that reckoning, eh Chuck? Who cares what apostle Pierce thinks or 'has found' when it is clearly decietful and contrary to the will of God. I'll take God every day.
It is also clear that the people aligned to the New Apostolic camp do not discern between good and evil, as they tolerate false prophets and false apostles like Chuck Pierce, Bill Johnson, Che Ahn, Rick Joyner, Stacey Canpbell and Todd Bentley. Despite their taste for adventure and their 'try it and see' attitude, rather than become more enlightened and mature, they get deeper and deeper into error, sin and blasphemy. What they are trying out is patently not good for them.]
I was just in Zambia. We saw a great reconciliation of the nation and people with the ex-President. This man had a great reproach from his terms in office. However, God in His grace chose to bring him forth, humble him and forgive him, and use him to change a nation. From a political standpoint, many would have wished he would have stayed estranged from the Body. However, I chose to go with the Spirit of God above political party divisions and reconcile him back into God’s Kingdom plan.
[God's Kingdom plan being the apostles' domininist plan]
We at Glory of Zion International have chosen to number ourselves in intercession with what is happening in Lakeland and other places throughout the world. Some have written asking me to reject Todd Bentley. GZI does not have a philosophy or mindset to reject anyone.
[GZI does not have a philosophy or mindset to apply scriptural commands re false prophets and false teachers, and unrepentent sinners. Its policy is to lead astray and let others lead others astray. Its policy is to like lies and heresy.]
We watch, pray, and then try to communicate what the Lord is saying to help the overall Body of Christ advance.
[That is to help themselves advance - to save their own skin and advance their own dominionist antichrist agenda. Because they desire all the body under them and see it as theirs, it is their own agenda and not the true body they look out for. It has not been in their interests til now to rebuke Todd - he is part of this beast's false prophet - and is advancing the beast's agenda.
They have no interest in what the Lord Jesus is saying. But notice Pierce does not mention the Lord Jesus. Chuck Pierce's and the NAR's Lord is not Jesus. If it were, these men would love the word of God and not trample all over it openly despising it. They would not covenant to destroy the faithful while plotting their own rise to world power. They would not tolerate liars and be liars.]
I have seen others get offended because key leaders commissioned Todd as a modern day evangelist. We at GZI have no problems with this.
[Sure you don't, it promoted and elevated you! And you evidently do not care for truth, so why would you have a problem with falsehood and disobedience to God?]
Please know that we are living in an age where the Apostolic gift in the Body has come into a new position and era of authority.
[According only to the self-appointed false new prophets and apostles. I do not accept their position or authority, nor does God accept or condone them - they are evil men with an antichrist agenda. They even testify to their true nature repeatedly in their prophecies.]
I was very excited to read Peter Wagner’s report (you may go to our web site to read this) on the commissioning service in Lakeland. I admire Ché Ahn, Bill Johnson, and John Arnott. I can now rest in Him,
[rest in Him? What C Peter Wagner or who?!]
knowing that if things get way out of sync, they can help Todd make adjustments so the Spirit can keep moving.
[If things get out of sync? IF?! That must mean being out of sync with what these antichrist dominionists' want, not God's will, as Lakeland has been out of synch with God since even before its beginning. The apostles will attempt to makie adjustments to this end - BUT they have no interest in adjusting Todd Bentley to conform to the will and word of the One True God. The Spirit that is moving is also not the Holy Spirit, and many of these men well know it - the evil, evil men. How shall it be then for them on that day of the Lord!]
We will continue to pray that the Lord raise Evangelists all over the world who can reach the harvest fields today. Yes, they may look different than Billy Graham, and they may have experienced some unusual happenings that perhaps will be better communicated as they grow in the Lord.
{Better communicated? How can you better communicate a false prophecy or outright deliberate deception?]
But overall they are stirring the Body of Christ, leading people to the Lord, and doing the works of Jesus.
[They are not leading people to the Lord Jesus as previously demonstrated. (If people are genuinely saved it is in spite of these men and their false gospel, not because of it.) They are not doing the works of Jesus either. How dare Chuck Pierce claim that the works of Jesus involve lying repeatedly, manipulating for money, selling the anointing, bearing false witness and blaspheming? How can the work of Jesus lead people to despise the word of God? How can the work of Jesus lead into deep deception? And lying? How can the work of Jesus lead into deceptive impartations that injure and mock the body of Christ?]
Let me share with you a personal experience.
[Well, it wasn't going to be the word of God, was it Chuck...?]
When Pam and I were in the Baptist Church in the early ’80’s, we were in a “move of God.” The Fullness Movement had touched the Baptist Church in the late ’70s, led by Jim Hylton, Ras Robinson, Jack Taylor and others. We had had some incredible meetings at our church. Many had gotten saved, gotten right with the Lord and filled with the Spirit of God. I loved this time. Pam and I both reminisce over it and call it “the Glory Days”. Then James Robison had his annual meeting and invited John Wimber to minister. Many of you remember our story of Pam’s barrenness. You can read about it in two or three of the books that we have written. [plug plug] We were told by all of our leadership how this “move” had gotten way out of hand, and now that John Wimber (who had no Baptist roots), was invading James Robison’s meeting, we should all stay away from these gatherings. (You should know that John Wimber and Peter Wagner helped revive signs and wonders in the ’80s.) Well, I heard God very clearly tell Pam and me to go in January, 1984 to the James Robison meeting where John Wimber was speaking. While we were there, the Spirit of God fell on my wife and sovereignly filled her. His power knocked the clots out of her uterus and He dramatically healed her. When the Spirit of God fell on Pam she said, “You were right! There are demons everywhere, but I AM HEALED!”
[First off, the late John Wimber of the Vineyard cannot be compared to Todd Bentley. Though John Wimber was in error about things, lacked discernment and wrongly embraced the Kansas City prophets and some of their impartations and doctrines which brought disaster upon the wider church, and he did do some covering up of his own (I know from first hand experience, I was in the Vineyard at the time), and the Vineyard movement got merchandising down to a fine art, John Wimber was not at all like Todd Bentley in theology or character. Though there were problems, he did not repeatedly wilfully and brazenly outright lie (that I am aware of). Nor did he deliberately contradict the word of God. Though his errors were serious and not to be excused regardless of his personal affibility and charisma, I think they came for the most part from sincerity and genuineness - whereas Todd Bentley's errors don't, and they are also far more numerous. John Wimber, for all his faults, I think was a genuine saint and convert who loved good and generally feared God (though he did not do right always or obey God re the KC prophets and Toronto etc). With John Wimber and the Vineyard, I saw a mix of good and counterfeit doctrine and impartations usually 'innocently' intertwined. With Todd, I only see evil, for decietful reasons, in someone who does not fear God even a little, let alone know or acknowledge Him. Todd Bentley is not a saint and convert - if he were, he would not act as he does, he would not dare!
Furthermore, a manifestation - even if true - is no sign of God's endorsement upon a ministry or its message. Should you go with a man's ministry who tells you to worship Satan because he heals? Would you go to a witchdoctor because he heals? The Bible says clearly, do not go with the false prophet even if his signs impress you. Even the sons of Sceva were able to drive out demons for a time, Simon Magus the Sorcerer started up his own little cult that no doubt had signs, and even Jesus in the prable of the sheep and the goats acknowledges that it is possible for those that do not know Him to drive out demons, heal the sick, perform 'miracles' etc.
Chuck Pierce is saying: don't look at the man at the theology, look at the manifestation. And even if there were true manifestations of healing to look at manifesting through Bentley (none have been supplied to the media that I am aware of then, despite repeat requests), this instruction is an outright lie and contrary to what the Bible says.]
This was not about John Wimber. This was not about Baptists. This was not about controversy. This test was ours!
[The test was ours? Yet the Bible explicitly says even if a false prophet does signs and wonders in your midst, not to follow him as it is the 'Lord your God testing you'. Therefore to ignore man and to ignore his doctrine and go with the signs at the expense of doctrinal truth is FAILING the test, not passing it. Sadly, John Wimber was a false prophet who helped to birth a beast.]
The situation was about us following God without fear so He could reward us with an incredible blessing. Pam became pregnant two weeks later and continued to be pregnant for the next 10 years of our life. We had six wonderful children. I’m so thankful I listened to the Spirit of God and did not let religious fear rule us. There were others with us that were not touched at all by the meetings. As a matter of fact, they did not appreciate at all the way John Wimber ministered. However, in the midst of his ministry, the Spirit of God ministered to us and changed the course of our lives.
I am honored that God brought me into alignment with Peter and Doris Wagner after I embraced the move of God that had been stirred by he and John Wimber. We have now been together for 17 years. During that time, I have continued to get the best God has to offer from the revivals in Argentina, Toronto, the “Laughter Movement”, Brownsville, and any other fresh breath of wind that blows. I have many friends who have great cautions over experiential manifestations and extra-Biblical sensational happenings. I heed those friends’ voices and listen carefully.
[Not enough to hear or heed GOD's voice, though, eh Chuck?]
This does not keep me from experiencing what God is doing.
[Experience, experience, experience, feelings and manifestations. For all his talk though, Chuck Pierce is kept from experiencing what God is doing as he repeatedly denies it, opposes it, despises it and tramples upon it.]
I love what Bishop Bill Hamon says, “Eat the meat and spit out the bones and you will find yourself nourished.”
{And this is the book of C Peter Wagner, Chapter 1 verse 3, right after ‘Go with the flow and do not think’ and ‘touch not my anointed’. Whereas the Bible says do not tolerate even a little leaven. There is no excuse for passing on and tolerating false prophecy and false teaching.
Regardless, if Chuck Pierce or the evil Bill Hamon really mean this, then if we eat the meat and spit out the bones, we find we have no meat whatsover and more pioson than bone.
And also I thought that according to false apostle Chuck Pierce we were not supposed to discern, as quote: ‘[those people] who analyze every move and shake and scrutinize doctrinally everything that is happening’ are bad, and on a lower level and at least limited spiritually and are fearful and unadventurous. But if we are supposed now to discern between meat and bone, how do we do that without careful chewing and discerning between flesh and bone? Or should we just swallow everything? If we just swallow their teachings (as they command elsewhere) how can we then spit out the bone? And are not the ones who spit the bone out missing it, being judgmental and touching the anointed?
Is this not very contradictory? Of course it is because it is intentionally decietful, and like Bill Johnson’s dodgy doctrine only works one way – thiers. This lot will say anything to try and persuade you to accept them, their words and impartations and their apostleship – however contradictory it is when examined even briefly. Such is the work of decievers.]
Recently, I have been pondering the first several verses of Genesis. In the midst of a wreck and ruined, chaotic, without-form earth, the Spirit of God began to hover. Once the Spirit began to hover, God could speak into the earth realm and pull forth creativity. He did this for six straight days. But notice God’s order: He didn’t try and set in order the sixth day before the first day. He didn’t try to place the fourth day before the second day. Little by little, as the Spirit hovered, order came and man was offered a new position as a result. That is how I view every move of God.
[But creation was God's working, and not man's. And everything was perfectly in order and was right. Nothing needed corrected or disciplined in this sense. To equate this story with Todd Bentley's antics is despicable. For Bentley's is not a move of God, and it is not perfect.
Note too the hinting at dominionism here, and I understand that Chuck Pierce is referring to this latest 'move of God' as elevating man - the apostles - in a new position - to start actively taking world power. Do not let them take it!].
What I would encourage you to do is to keep discerning by the Word and the Spirit, but to be open to see the Lord move in a new way.
[But Chuck Pierce repeatedly has said NOT to discern and to be adventurous and go for it even if you think it is demonic (pp John Wimber story, don't miss the blessing). He pays lip service to discernment, but neither means it, practises it or demands it - and in fact forbids it. Furthermore he tramples on and despises the word of God, the word by which we discern.]
The disciples could not understand why the Lord would go to Samaria and visit with the woman at the well.
[The disciples did not not understand Jesus being in Samaria, as John 4:4 says he had to go through that way on his way elsewhere. Jesus did not go there specifically to 'visit' the woman at the well, although it is one 'divine' chance encounter out of others he had there. The disciples did not understand Jesus talking to the 'sinful' Samaritan woman, but IF they had searched the scriptures, they would have seen about the promise of new life being for the gentiles as well as the Jews, and for female as well as male, slave and free and for the sick and the unrighteous. It was not weird or unscriptural in light of the truth - rather it upheld scripture.
If we do not understand anything, we take it to the scriptures. I do not not understand Todd Bentley and his associates or their impartations. Rather I understand him and them only too well and will warn aloud of them. Scripture makes it abundantly clear what these men are - and it is not sweet.]
However, because of His love and boldness to break a religious standard, a whole city was saved (John 4).
[A whole city was not saved. Verse 39 many became Samaritians believers, but not all, not everybody was saved.]
The Lord is preparing to save entire cities today.
[Pierce is referring to third wave hocus pocus spiritual warfare that seeks to redeem territory via binding of spirits rather than 'taking' men and advancing the spiritual kingdom of God via the good 'old fashioned' gospel method].
Thank God that Jesus talked to this woman – a person with a past, a Samaritan, and a woman. He was not afraid of His reputation being marred.
[Chuck Pierce is somehow saying that evangelising anybody and anything, is the same thing as publically endorsing anybody and anything, and letting anybody and anything preach or prophesy to our congragtion - when of course it is not the same thing at all]
Recently, a letter from one of the major Bible churches in Denton went out to leaders in our city on the doctrine of women and how they should have a subservient role in the Body of Christ in public ministry. Prior to this letter going out, I had invited Cindy Jacobs to minister at Glory of Zion on Sunday, July 6. I want you to know that I have been a champion for women ministers throughout the years. I am so very excited to have Cindy with us on July 6th because women are welcome to minister in Denton, Texas. I would never shut the door of ministry for her to come into this city because of man’s opinion.
[The issue is NOT one of women's equality but of Cindy Jacob's falseness. Cindy Jacob's should not be given a platform as she is a false prophet and false teacher. Just as men like Todd Bentley should not be given a platform or tolerated, as he is a false prophet and false teacher. Note too that Pierce is trying to put the 'everybody that disagrees with Todd Bentley' into the anti woman in ministry camp and mindset by insinuation, which of course, is absolutely not true.]
Neither would I, Robert Heidler or any leader that is aligned with me, shut the door to Keith Miller or Todd Bentley to come to Denton to minister what the Spirit of God is doing in their lives.
[Keith Miller is responsible for helping the awful prophet Bob Jones write out his shepherd's rod predictions. This is where Jesus apparently still sheds his blood every year on the day of atonement as the first time around was not enough. Chuck Pierce prophesies the Kabbalah and Todd Bentley has antichrist teachings. Nice! Sure we'll accept false prophets and liars in Denton - we love them, bring them on!]
We consider it a privilege that God has opened the gate for Spirit-led ministry to come into Denton.
[Which spirit is leading?]
We are glad that He “needs” to come to Denton just like He “needed” to go to Samaria.
[He is knocking at the door yet you reject Him.]
You are always welcome to come to Denton. As a matter of fact, you might “need” to come here to gain your next release from the Lord.
[Lord who again? And why would I or anybody else need to go anywhere, even if there were true prophets in evidence instead of dark vultures picking off the carcase, to get my 'next release' from the Lord?]
You can go to Keith Miller’s meeting. You can come to our Firstfruits Gathering. You can come be with Cindy Jacobs on Sunday, July 6. You can come to Tuesday Morning Prayer. You are invited to come any time and you will not be rejected as you come into this city.
Keep praying for us. We will be home on Tuesday.
Blessings,
Chuck D. Pierce
p.s. Don’t miss Robert Heidler’s next message on Sunday morning on “The Kingdom River is Rising.” If you want to know what I believe about angels, you can order The Worship Warrior: Ascending in Worship, Descending in War. To know more about Pam’s testimony, you can purchase One Thing.
[Trust Chuck Pierce to tout some anointed merchandise as his final word!]

Hey Chuck!
WHO CARES WHAT YOU THINK OR DON’T THINK ABOUT TODD BENTLEY OR — JESUS CHRIST FOR THAT MATTER?
You have LIED and LIED and LIED in the NAME OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST
BY RIPPING OFF THE ASTROLOGICAL KABBALLAH AND TELLING CHRISTIANS THAT IT WAS “GOD’S WORD FOR THE MONTH.”
SHAME ON YOU IN JESUS’S HOLY NAME.
I scratched my head a little on why it is you are in Africa in the first place, and NOT Lakeland.
Then realized that the Pride of the Apostolic Prophetic Movement was “hurt” by your lying Kabballah Scandals and they didn’t want you at Lakeland.
Just how they ‘put away” Paul Cain. And how Bob Jones only is allowed late night phone calls in a Familiar Spirit to Todd to warn him as to how to defend himself against Godly discernment of this phony “revival.”
Chucky. Evil Chucky. Go home to your mid western Jewish tabernacle in your backyard. Keep on meditating on the Kabballah and then SHUT UP IN THE NAME OF JESUS. Maybe you and your family can be spared God’s coming wrath for your lies.
Thanks again Miriam. I love this site. It has been so helpful to me. These superapostels and prophets are being exposed for what they are. I see you have over a million hits on your page. Thats awesome. People are reached with this important message. I pray you keep it up. Be blessed. You and your family.
Thanks Morten, I appreciate the prayers of the saints very much. Be blessed too -
How far is ‘too far’ ? Reading between the lines, when he said that with the ‘apostles’ now in an oversight role, they’ll be able to pull in the reigns IF (?) things get ‘too far out of sync’. Meaning, “well yeah they are out of sync now, but it’s not ‘too far’ out, so we’ll put our stamp of approval on it and get a photo-op at the same time”
So I wonder if anyone has defined what ‘too far’ is? Hmmmm.
My comment about the above STATEMENT = Help! We’re surrounded by 450 false prophets!
There is an excellent ~ STATEMENT ~ made by the:
APOSTLE PAUL ~ that fits this situation perfectly.
These ’superlative’ – self-appointed ‘apostles’ are in for a big disappointment when their shenanigans are revealed and judged by God. Statement taken from The Living Bible
Here is what Paul the APOSTLE has to say:
2 Corinthians 11:1-15 “I hope you will be patient with me as I keep on talking like a fool. Do bear with me and let me say what is on my heart.
I am anxious for you with the deep concern of God himself – anxious that your love should be for Christ alone, just as a pure maiden saves her love for one man only, for the one who will be her husband. But I am frightened, fearing that in some way you will be led away from your pure and simple devotion to our Lord, just as Eve was deceived by Satan in the Garden of Eden. You seem so gullible: you believe whatever anyone tells you even if he is preaching about another Jesus than the one we preach, or a different spirit than the Holy Spirit you received, or shows you a different way to be saved. You swallow it all.
Yet I don’t feel that these marvelous ‘messengers from God,’ as they call themselves, are any better than I am. If I am a poor speaker, at least I know what I am talking about, as I think you realize by now, for we have proved it again and again.
Did I do wrong and cheapen myself and make you look down on me because I preached God’s Good News to you without charging you anything? Instead I ‘robbed’ other churches by taking what they sent ‘me’, and using it up while I was with you, so that I could serve you without cost. And when that was ‘gone’ and I was getting hungry I still didn’t ask you for anything for the Christians from Macedonia brought me another gift. I have never yet asked you for one cent, and I never will. I promise this with every ounce of truth I possess – that I will tell everyone in Greece about it! Why? Because I don’t love you? God knows I do. But I will do it to cut out the ground from under the feet of those who boast that they are doing God’s work in just the same way we are.
God never sent those men at all; they are ‘phonies’ who have fooled you into thinking they are Christ’s apostles. Yet I am not surprised! Satan can change himself into an angel of light, so it is no wonder his servants can do it too, and seem like godly ministers. In the end they will get every bit of punishment their wicked deeds deserve.”
This says it all…….
Every single one of these people ask for money, write books, and endorse each other. I wonder, didn’t the 450 false prophets Elijah dealt with all have names…..would they have done what these are doing if they lived in our day?
Again, Paul had something to say: 2 Corinthians 10:12
“Oh, don’t worry, I wouldn’t dare say that I am as wonderful as these other men who tell you how good they are! Their trouble is that they are only comparing themselves with each other, and measuring themselves against their own ideas. What stupidity!”

Each article you write here gets better and better. Thankyou for your work and dedication. Please pray for me as I seek to share these warnings with fellow Christians, since I find so many are embracing this ‘outpouring’, and don’t want to hear anything said against Todd & Co. I am unable to comprehend how they cannot, or will not see.
Another point that Chuck is downplaying is that Peter Wagner’s guys and gals were not there to anoint Todd Bentley (reffered to hereafter as “TB”) as just an ‘Evangelist’. I watched that super-apostle debacle via the internet to see what they were up to. Wagner called it an “Apostolic Alignment” which clearly was a ceremony to invite Todd into their little club. One very scary part was at the end when they commemorated the event by giving him a ring to wear. I don’t know if that was meant to be a ring for his faithful followers to kiss (ala the pope) or whether it was to bring him into a marriage like covenant with the rest of them. [maybe a gift certificate for another tattoo would have been more appropriate]. I haven’t listened to his ranting and raving since but I can tell you that before all of this he was proclaiming himself a world class Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher, Prophet and (a new one to me) a ‘Revivalist’. At the time I was wondering why not a single one of these 20 or more alleged ‘prophets or apostles’ had the discernment or courage to shut this circus down. But it was clearly evident these folks were pre-screened and no dissenters need apply.
I really appreciate those who search the Scriptures, know and rely on our only savior Jesus Christ and provide insight to those in the body of Christ who are in peril. Grace and peace,
I’m still waiting for a public statement from Dutch Sheets, Mike Bickle and Graham Cooke. I’m thinking that those in the prophetic movement who have problems with Lakeland have decided to just keep quiet, but is that possible when everyone wants to know what you think?
Chuck Pierce is always coming to New Jersey to open gates and wage war in the heavenlies. He is always declaring this and that is taking place in the invisible realms. One thing Lakeland is doing is that it forces folks to take another look at leaders who support TB. Lakeland exposes a leader’s discernment and alliances. By way of Todd Bentley God is exposing these false apostles and false prophets and helping their followers to better discern where they are coming from. It may not help most of them but it will cause a few to back off from ‘following’ and listening to them.
GB
Something to think about:
Truth is to be spoken in love. Truth stands on its own.
I agree with the truth that is spoken in the articles.
What I have a hard time digesting is the hateful undertones that the truth is being presented with here in the articles and in the comments. Personal attacks are not necessary to make a point, the truth will stand on its own.
Oh good grief, this guy is in Africa? I am not surprised TRUE Christians in Africa test everything – boy the amount of witchcraft they see is enough to scare anyone half to death so they make sure it’s from Jesus and not another source.
Hmmmm come to think about it, why didn’t they go to Zimbabwe instead since Zim is going to once again be the ‘bread basket’ of Africa as per Cindy Jacob’s prophecy. Surely you would think they would start in a country that’s going to feed the rest of Africa in the future? Maybe I am just too logical.
THis article was found after doing a Wikipedia Search of Todd. I don’t know where to post this, but I will put it here for now.
Again I found it from Wikipedia and followed the link to here
http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_hb3543/is_200104/ai_n8359026?tag=rbxcra.2.a.1
IS this true? Is Todd really a convicted Child Molestor. Please tell me this is a joke.
Todd Bentley has a confession to make. A faith healer who has attracted international attention over the past several months, Bentley presents himself as a reformed bad boy who was once jailed for 18 months for “crimes of an assault nature” and breaking-and-entering in his hometown of Gibsons, B.C. The truth is, his most serious crime was more heinous: the molestation of a seven-year-old boy. “They were sexual crimes,” Bentley admits. “I was involved in a sexual-assault ring. I turned around and did what had happened to me. I was assaulted too.
It is true. It is not a joke. But this fact is not really what you should be looking at as it was done before he allegedly ‘repented’ and ‘became a Christian’ – so if he really has repented it should not be held against him. These facts are however debatable because of the amount Todd lies and defrauds his way and has no fear of God NOW, and the other terrible bad fruit coming forth from him NOW.
Note that: ‘I turned around and did what had happened to me. I was assaulted too.’ is not exactly repentence and being held to account and responsible is it, and sounds more like an excuse nullifying its seriousness?
Thanks for the info
I couldn’t help but catch the mini commercial given of Chuck Pierce’s “REVIVAL” anointing oil that was used to anoint Todd at his commissioning service. Chuck couldn’t be there, but his “REVIVAL” anointing oil was.
I feel sad the way you have commented on Chuck’s letter. You seemed to be making meanings to his words with a clear intent to discredit him. I sensed more anger/bitterness than love and grace in your critique. Sad to see/read these days that character assasination which very much characterised American politics is now seeping into the body of christ.
#16 Comment:
…Sad to see/read these days that character assasination which very much characterised American politics is now seeping into the body of christ.
Answer: It seems that the ‘character’ of these is speaking for itself…..no one is ‘character assassinating’ anyone just exposing the ‘false prophets’ according to the Word of God.
It is amazing how some do not know what ‘love is’ and it isn’t letting the sheep get sheered everyday of the week by some new – ‘character’ that yells out a few ‘Bible’ verses/words.
If those that are speaking the truth about the false teachers and prophets are ‘character assassinating’ then they are in good company…I have a suggestion: read your Bible from cover to cover – I ‘feel sad’ that there is sin in the world too, but that’s reality.

Just went to Chuck’s church. After the second worship song started either he or his helper preacher told people to come up front and give immediatley if they wanted to reap favor from God. So, people began frantically writing checks out. They then brought these checks forward and put them in little treasure chests on the stage. During the morning they talked about prosperity alot, plugged a worship minister’s cd at least three times, and said if you werent aligned under a prophet/apostle you were in a fragment.
The good part of the church is the people who are fervent in spirit and seem to really be on fire for God. But they teach tithing and made sure people knew God wanted them to prosper in this time of economic wilderness. I didnt have peace about Mr. Pierce and got really mad when he and his elders said Give now and you’ll get favor from God. They were singing a song about favor and I guess they believe you had to sow while that song was playing and after this prophetic word to get favor. It was sad because I literally saw several people frantically writing out checks in order to get them in the treasure chest before the song about favor ended. In the end I felt Chuck and his leader Keith someone were con men because of this. If I hold him up and Paul Washer up I would say Chuck is the superapostle peddler and Paul is the true apostle. Ten years ago I would have given all my money to Pierce and swam in his sowing deception but not now. I am wiser. So, I would not go back because of these things. But I felt the people did love God but need to wise up and boot Pierce out, or command him to repent.
