Christian prophecy for the church and for the nations from a servant of God called to speak God’s word

Mass Sheeka Boom Ba in the Name of the Father (uh!), the Son and the Bam

The following video here I find very disturbing. I have seen a lot of Todd Bentley’s antics to date on You Tube and the Godless God Channel. I have watched Todd Bentley openly blaspheme, punch cancer patients hard enough in the gut to make them wince, boast about kicking old ladies in the face,  push people over, manipulate children, lie over and over again to the crowds and to the media, and falsely prophesy.

This baptismal service on the 4th July, what can I say really of how it makes me grieve so (and God)? Such a blatant mockery of God, and such a blatant disregard for truth. It mocks the new life and the real miracle of being a new creation in Christ Jesus and the old being gone.

At 2.05 minutes on this video, Todd goes ‘tsssss’ and pretends to put the fire/anointing in the water by putting his hand in there to heat the tub up with more anointing. This is play acting like a child and outright mockery – the work of a charlatan and not a true man of God.

Of course, the power in baptism is in its symbolism for the death to self and the rising to new life. The power is not in the water, ‘anointed’ or otherwise. Making people jump about and manifesting in anointed water is taking the focus away from Christ and the real saving power of the gospel. Todd Bentley’s baptism is a public disgrace and mockery.

People are ‘falling out under the power in the baptism tank’ but there is no talk of repentence or confession of sins or Jesus as Lord. There are gnostic claims from Todd like ‘The fire is in the tub’, and nonsense such as ‘I baptise you in the name of the sheeka boom ba … bam’. At 2.10 minutes, Todd calls this ‘a mass sheeka boom ba’  - why on earth does he use such nonsense words for a baptism – because I tell you the truth, it is no real baptism. To the undiscerning, these words sound kinda spiritual or Christian or like tongues (albeit without interpretation) but not only are these the words of a charlatan and faker, they are also the words of an evil man with an evil impartation.

I know Lakeland supporters defending Todd Bentley keep on harping on about the so-called ‘converts’ he makes. Apart from, most of the people in this ‘revival’ are people already in churches, we have repeatedly have testified Todd does not  preach a true gospel of repentence, nor does he lead to the true Jesus, so there are a lack of real genuine conversions - and now it can be seen he does not preach or practice a true baptism.

In this video mockery, a baby  gets baptised – when of course, how can babies make this commitment, let alone this public declaration? Many people are in the ‘anointed tank’ who wish Todd to lay their hands on them, so they are healed or anointed, and so they can get others to get a healing or a revivalist anointing, other people who want to go ‘higher and deeper’ – many folk are evidently getting re baptised for all the wrong reasons – and Todd does not correct them. He baptises them anyway.

You do not baptise people so they get healed in this sense, or so they get anointed! Nor do you rebaptise the backslidden again for that is a public mockery of the cross.

A spaced out young man who has allegedly been a convert for some time claims he is being baptised as ’he wants to be a new creation’ in a future tense kind of way (does he not know the basic gospel truths?) – this same young man, by the way, is part of Todd Bentley’s church in Abbotsford, B.C. and attended Todd Bentley’s supernatural Bible school but ‘had not got around to’ being baptised before, but he says he is now ‘ready’. What does this lone fact say about Todd Bentley’s church’s and school’s acceptance criteria, and their and their ’spirit led’ leaders and students’ faithfulness in applying God’s word whether they ‘feel’ like it or not? It’s ok to go to Todd’s school which he is ready for, but not to obey God and get dunked?)

  2. You know, I had a dream about the Apostolic Prophetic Movement back in January before I really knew the outlines of what a big Cult it is.

The beginning of the dream, I was freaked that some Witch was about to preach and I was scared that the young people in the church were going to be deceived and I got someone to pray with me against it. For some reason, that person stood on my shoulders as we prayed BUT then put their hands over my eyes so hard they were squeezing my eyeballs — as if they DID NOT WANT ME TO SEE what was happening. It actually was hurting my EYEBALLS so I threw this person off me and ran outside.

I ran into this big roundish building with descending floors. It turned out to be a sort of Satanic “CIRCUS CIRCUS” as in Las Vegas, where people from all religions were “GAMBLING ON THEIR PRAYERS” literally at slot machines and tables. Nuns, Apostolic Prophetics, all sorts of weird “Christians” were in there. What they were doing was “wagering” on their specific “doctrine” as to what would “pay off”.

It was actually a Temple of Unbelief. People without faith, like those going to Todd Bentley, need the “hit” of signs and wonders — because they really don’t have any faith. They are like the people in my dream — crowding around game tables and gambling by pulling on the slot machine handles — GAMBLING THAT MAYBE THIS IS THE WAY TO JESUS’ “PAY OFF” in the Spirit.

There is a difference between Christians who love Todd Bentley and Christians who Love the Lord. The difference is we know Jesus is the PAY OFF. These other people want another Pay Off.

They want their lives to “work” more “prosperously” number one. They want to gamble, without much risk, that Jesus is the way. But they don’t want to lay down their lives for Him. They don’t want to go all the way, because they are not that sure. They lack true faith and understanding of who Jesus is.

Todd Bentley’s Jesus requires only the equivalent of putting a few ATM bucks on the table for the Jesus Bet.

Gamblers, beware. Jesus is NOT A BET. HE IS THE REAL THING, and we much love Him with all our hearts, minds, souls and spirits, and pick up our Cross daily to Follow Him.

  3. I am sorry but I did have to laugh a little at the audacity of Todd’s insane prayer:

“I baptize you in the name of Sheeka Boom Ba”? Who is Bentley kidding?

Oh My Lord — what is wrong with this man. It is so ludicrous I really laughed.

  6. I have been graced with a ‘good & perfect’ ( being from the Father of Lights) gift of discrnment. Does anyone besides me discern a wierd sexual vibe in these displays. I got it in this one and the clip called ‘watch it and weep’ about the ‘bamming’ in the school gym…I notice women seemed to be very submissive in his presence and also seem to quickly lose control in a manic/ecstatic display of frantic flaying. The women seem to gush and coo at him as if he’s mick jagger ( 25 years ago). I saw it also in the Wicked Cackling laughter clip. The 2 ladies just can’t seem to get it together in Todd’s presence and then when they give up on trying to piece enough words togther to form a coherent sentence…they perform a hideous macabre dance to Todd’s delight. This ain’t of God. I’m sorry fans.

I noticed it in the “we are not drunk as you suppose” video with the two women from “sho hio” (ohio) …is that one of the videos you are talking about? Yes, very sexual when he seems to molest them in the spirit (that’s the only way I can describe it). sick.

Someone will get killed soon if those promoting this don’t come to their senses. I wonder, when that happens will the victim be blamed for lack of faith? I don’t suppose they will lay the blame where it belongs.

yes that is one of them. There is also the school gym bamming session where a girl is following him around and he reaches out a grabs her and bams, or sleys or whatever it is (other than an annointing)that he does and she writhes in almost sexual pleasure but I get that from several of these clips.

  12. I’ve done many baptisms and they have ALWAYS been a time of the manifest presence of God and a sense of an open Heaven as all Heaven rejoices over a sinner who repents and is baptized. There is always a holy joy and a holy gladness. What I saw on this youtube is mockery and a clear manifestation of a cult as Todd Bentley is allowed to form his own religion and do things his way instead of God’s. God have mercy…

  13. In a response to a previous message, I asked if the ‘overseers’ of this circus knew how far ‘too far’ was — I’d say baptizing people in the name of ’sheeka boom ba’ is way TOO FAR! It just makes me mad. Are there absolutely no adults around to supervise? Is there no one there who’s read the Bible? (Ok, I know Todd’s ‘god’ knows the Bible, since he used it on Jesus as he was tempted in the desert, but besides him I mean…)

    Act 2:38 KJV
    (38) Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

    Act 19:5 KJV
    (5) When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

    Mat 28:19 KJV
    (19) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

  14. I posted my previous comment before I watched the video, apparently he did use the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost for most of the people, but he missed it for 1 person, she just got ‘bam!’ But he didn’t ask them if they were believers in Jesus Christ or who their Saviour was or anything similar, and he didn’t even deign himself to get wet in the process. We should name it the TB circus.

  18. it’s becoming ever more extreme in order to keep everyone’s attention.

They are trying to ‘learn the lessons’ of the last couple of ‘revivals’, I reckon. The longer Todd is stuck in Lakeland, the better though. It means he can’t take his garbage across the planet … yet.

When this thing is over, keep an eye on Todd and Benny Hinn. I would be totally unsurprised if Benny was forced towards orthodoxy as a result!

(unlikely though it may be … however, Benny has probably lost his crown as undisputed king of the televangelists so he’ll have to turn somewhere and he’s probably a bit too long in the tooth for tattoos. ;) )

    Shalom

  19. It is unlikely that most churches and ministries like this one baptise the way Jesus was baptised. Why has the church changed the way that it was originally done? The candidate would walk into the water with a witness at their side and stoop down until the water was flowing over away from them and then would “come up straightway out of the water”.

It seems that this video has made cheap entertainment out of a holy ordinance. How sad.

“Get imparted, Get retarded!” This may sound funny but it really is true!! This junk is going to stop the growth of many “believers”…but hey, that’s what it has been sent to do! I’m no prophet but even i know what the next big thing to come out of this cesspool will be…..getting naked before the lord! They are doin’ the dance! “Kind after kind”…isn’t that what big daddy bob jones got politely kicked out of the toronto thing for? Telling women to get naked and stand before the lord? used to feel sorry for these people…but come on, how much more can the “imparted” get “retarded?

Miriam: Wouldn’t you think that the facts listed above would be enough to convince a person that really wants to ‘know who is telling the truth’~ that the false prophets are NOT PREACHING TRUTH….
It’s so simple, and makes me wonder – if the persons being duped by these have a born again testimony themselves.
I looked on some of the ‘ministers’ web sites that ‘endorse’ the LKLD revival and their ‘testimonies’ are sadly lacking.
How can one preach about ’sin, repentance, sanctification,’ if they have not experienced any of these themselves?

  25. Did anyone catch “Night Line” last night on ABC? It was about the “revival” or I should say “Todd Bentley”. In spite of numerous claims to documented healings, when Todd’s asked to produce documented healing records, the reporter received a “network package” of revival healings,
all the verifiable information had been blacked out and they could not find out what hospital, doctors, real information to back it up. Not one.

    Comment by Kathie | July 10, 2008

  26. From http://sheepyweepy.wordpress.com/2008/07/21/double-dipping-the-sheep/

Some people have recently mentioned that Todd Bentley’s revival has to be of God because he recently baptized people in the name of Jesus. So let’s take a look at this baptism night on the following youtube video:

Shika Boomba Water Baptism – Todd Bentley

Just before the 2 minute mark into this video an Asian girl comes to Todd Bentley to be baptized. She is screaming and Todd says, “She’s under that anointing already…(shakes and groans aaaahhhh)… it’s the ancients…we baptize her tonight in the name of the Father, Son and Holy BAM! (screaming continues)”

I replayed this many times over and am quite sure that he actually said “It’s the ancients.” Now what on earth did that mean? Some might propose that it is the spirit in Todd recognizing the spirit in this girl. One must ask, who is ancient? The young girl is not ancient. But demons have been around for a long time.

As he continued to ‘bam’ people into the water, even double dipping to ‘get that head under’, he accidentatlly dunked the interpreter (oops). He then continued to bam bam bam more shaking convulsing people with more double dunking before throwing the interpreter in a few more times with bam bam, for good measure.

If you think that was bad, there is more double dipping and triple bamming in this youtube video where a young man from Todd’s church in Abbotsford B.C. Canada is baptized, followed by a disturbing manifestation which one does not usually see happen in a baptismal tank:

    Baptism into Bam Bam BAM!

Others may have already examined this issue, but having not watched these videos before, I found it completely shocking. Not only is this sad, it is absolutely terrible. Baptism is an act of obedience to follow Jesus that is not to be taken lightly. It is a symbolic burial of dying to oneself and beginning a new life in Christ. It is a sign of repentance, and a drastic change – so much so that the old person is “buried” as a testimony of what has happened inwardly. Baptism accompanies a sincere confession of the person’s faith and an admission that they have died to sin and the world. The person being baptized must understand what they are doing – committing themselves to Jesus Christ as Lord. Otherwise it will be meaningless. It could even spiritually harm a person who does this without fully understanding, giving them a false security that now they are ‘in.’

Crazy manifestations aside, if you listen to the reasons that people are getting baptized on the above videos, and the attitude of their baptizer, it appears that not one of these sheep being dipped in Todd’s pool (drunk tank) of ‘fire water’ has understood the true meaning of baptism. It is also evident that Todd himself does not understand the seriousness of this act.

  28. Born2praze, love your idea for the new tshirt logo! I would wear one myself if it did not insult the truly mentally disabled. As they have more going for them than those who continue to go after this dung. I am interested if anyone out there on this site, personally know many people involved in this “revival.” I know four people. We do not fellowship anymore. It is truly like they have taken their brains out and put them on a shelf. I am not exaggerating. It is like you tell them anything…anything at all of importance… anything that is true and DUH, they do not care. They actually act like they are deaf and blind. Which they are. But at one time they were intelligent and could half-way look at something objectively. Is anyone else having the same result in trying to communicate with these people? Or is it just me? Maybe I am doing something wrong.
I am very much open to constructive critisim.

Growing up in a family that was deeply involved with the illuminati, it was a no-brainer for me to see that this man is a pawn in Satan’s hand…everything the church does, Satan can mimic and what we are seeing is just that…the occult is literally laced throughout and it’s very sad to watch as these people who are desperately hoping and hungry for a true touch from God are being imparted with evil spirits and who knows what else…it needs to be shut down…

  31. I know what you’re talking about redeemedhippie. My dad went to Lakeland at the end of April for healing. He was not healed but he did bring back the “anointing” and spread it to other family members and friends. I confronted my mom and sister about it afterwards and things have not been the same since then. My relationship with my parents and sister has been strained. We don’t talk about anything spiritual happening in our lives anymore. We try to act like everything is okay but we all know it’s not. We all used to be really close but sadly that is not the case anymore. My dad is different than he used to be. It’s hard to explain exactly how he is different. My husband and I have just noticed that he is. And it’s not different in a good way. He’s not as gracious as he used to be. I just keep praying that my family members’ eyes will be opened like mine were and our relationship can be restored to what it used to be.

    Comment by Mary B | July 22, 2008

  33. Redeemedhippie and ErinG my sister and her family have also become strained and we cannot mention anything spiritual now because of this ‘division’. Yesterday I just cried for
her wondering where it will all end. Honestly I can’t get my
head round it. It is SO CLEARLY UNBIBLICAL and UNHOLY. The
leaders at her church are dishing it out, but she is normally perceptive and sensible. She watches the ‘revival’
on God TV EVERY NIGHT for 4 hours and has become addicted to it (her own words).

We must PRAY PRAY PRAY for them, and also that Todd and co.
will go a step too far and bring our loved ones to their senses (although I cannot imagine how much more evidence they need).
God is our refuge and our strength and a very present help in trouble. Lets hold to that truth, JESUS IS LORD, SEATED
ON THE THRONE AND HE ALONE IS WORTHY. Halleluia.

  34. ErinG:

Point your dad to this site and any others like it. He has believed some lie about Todd Bentley and his trip there. Whatever the lie is, I pray God expose it to you so the family can be restored.

Remember, it is not about a spiritual “feeling” — the Holy Spirit indwells us in our “rational seat” our minds. Your dad needs to examine his understanding of what Bentley is all about and be disentangled from the lies. Ask him humbly what is going on, without judgment.

This is the End Time Delusion and it affects how we think about the Lord. Be careful but go in and “pull down strongholds (lies of Satan) and every argument that resists the knowledge of God” as Paul tells us to. Bless you and your family, Erin and I pray the Enemy’s strategy on your parents is revealed, exposed, and cast down — in His timing and in His love.

    Comment by AriseMyLove | July 22, 2008

  35. ErinG,my heart really goes out to you, sister. Blessedly, I do not have any family members involved with the cult. I have what I now call “used to be friends.” It is not like I would hurt them. Quite the opposite. Yet, I can not be with them anymore because of the things they are accepting now. I put up with them for years…tolerating them with their views on things…Benny hinn, Joel Osteen, Rodney Howard Browne, etc…because we just did not talk about it. I tried at times but they would not listen. Perhaps if I had done something differently back then, they would not be so brain washed today.

I had a friend who I used to have blessed fellowship with every week for years. We would feast on the Word of God and prayed for others. It was a beautiful time. But then she found this new church here and put the preacher on a pedestal. Four years ago it was found out I had heart disease. I knew something was very wrong with my friend when she had no compassion. That just was not like her. Instead I was just suppose to “claim my healing.” For her God does not allow sickness. I told her my God does allow sickness and if her god did not, then why does she still wear glasses or go to the dentist? She could not answer that. It just mad her mad. I told her I believed God was soverign and works in ways we don’t alway know. One being, using sickness to cause us to draw near to Him. With that, she acted disgusted with me. She since has told me,”I would never follow a God who uses sickness as a cross.” I explained to her I did not say sickness was a cross but rather it draws me to the cross. For no one but Jesus knows the things I have learned in this condition. Once I was strong, but now I am weak. But I am finding his grace is sufficient. I am finding it was never “my” strength. But Almighty Gods’. I used to be proud at what I could get done in a days time, outworking anyone around me. I have been knocked down a few notches but oh how I am so thankful. For now I see it was Gods’ ability all along, not mine. He does not delight in the strength of men. I went on to tell her, “You still would not follow him if sickness were a cross? I would. I would still follow Him.”

I guess what I’m trying to say through my venting is this: Take heart, draw near to Jesus, make Him everything in your life right now. Learn what it means to cling to the cross. Though you may be despised and rejected, He will be your best friend. Use this time of what may feel like spiritual abandoment to seek the Lord with all your heart, soul and strength. Know that you have this place where others care for you. But most importantly and above everything, know you are never alone when He is so near to you.

  37. “WHEN WILL THIS FARCE END!!!!!!!!”

It will never end until the True Jesus Christ returns and vanquishes His enemies (those who serve preach christs and serve damnable heresies).

God has allowed multiple heretics and heretic churches to continue unabeted ever since He ascended. The Roman Catholic one being one of the longest running tools of Satan for over 1000 years deluding around a billion souls.

You will never see the demonic end until the demons are cast into the lake of fire, and that is not before the day of judgement. Don’t allow yourself to be seduced by these false christs and false gospels being preached, it is no new thing. Bentley is no new thing, he is just a more shameless vile thing.
