Christian prophecy for the church and for the nations from a servant of God called to speak God’s word

Gary Morgan and Sarah Morgan and their angels called Quicken & Shift

[2.58 minutes onwards} from this video from Jeff Jansen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XM08TLAczs&feature=related

Gary Morgan shares about an angel called ‘Quicken’ who apparently helps in financial situations to release prosperity. It takes little to impress Gary, evidently, who sees great prophetic significance in the financial accounting software program called Quicken being made by Angel Software. (Sigh)

Gary Morgan is linked with Emerge Wales, which is linked with the new mystics like John Crowder and Justin Abraham, and is also linked in with Jeff Jansen, Randy DeMain and Patricia King. Signs and wonders such as angelic lights and oil allegedly flows from his Bible (source) and like many in the other crowd he ties in with, he manipulatively prophesies for money.

“Gary Morgan prophetically called for each of us to invest $555 into the land of this great heritage in effective prayer.” (source here).

What I don’t get is why they don’t just ask the prosperity angel Quicken to cough up some more dough. Or sell one of the rubies that angel Emma leaves behind, or the pearl crown that angel Grace leaves behind.

Gary Morgan also seems to have an angel called Shift helping him.

“Gary Morgan said that Shift and Quicken (angels Gary has met) were being released to speed things up in Wales. We’re just so thankful that the things we’ve been praying for are now being manifested before our eyes. We are literally seeing destiny, breakthrough and fulfilment repeatedly. And what is coming will exceed in every way what we are seeing right now. We go from glory to glory.”

If you have not yet seen about John Crowder and his pals, must see wake up videos are -

  1. The Angel Quicken also helps me in my financial situations, but I had to ask God to replace him with the angel MS Money because Quicken wasn’t really working well with my 64 bits OS, despite of all the anointing and the BAMing…

    Just passing by…

  2. This breaks my heart. I persoanally know Gary and Sarah but have been out of touch with them for a couple of years. The last we heard from them they had just had lunch with Bob Jones……….

  3. Quicken (the software) is no longer available in the UK. I hope that is prophetic and this “angel” won’t be available here either.

  4. Lorie – every angel that I have heard in the apostolic-prophetic movement is linked back to Bob Jones somehow :(

  5. lorie, it is unfortunate how the people we once knew in the church are falling left and right. It’s like being an infantryman in Iraq and having buddies hurt or killed. Only the viper venom in the church is actually worse than bombs and bullets because we’re all going to physically die one way or another.

  6. I can’t believe how far these people have strayed and how many of them lie about these things. I continually shake my head over all this. Clearly people are making these things up to promote their ministries and get big offerings.

  7. One of the real problems from all this nonsense surrounding angels is that it may lead people to miss a genuine visitation from an angel.

The church swings from the pendulum of cessationism to the other end of fanaticism and strange fire. As always with the Lord, the balanced path is the way forward to the glory.

Some people will ignore all accounts of angelic visitations, other people will simply believe anything. The truth is that there are angels and that they have visited people with messages from the Lord. However, all this about angels speeding things up in Wales is simple avoidance.

Jesus told us to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Not to seek angelic visits that will speed things up. If you want to speed things up in Wales, get out on the street and speak the gospel.

Last time I was in Wales, I gave a very clear prophetic word to a young man in the coffee shop I went to. I just walked up to him, shared the gospel, shared the word and he was impacted for the gospel. Obedience to the Word, and preaching the gospel, is the key to evangelizing Wales, not all of this!

  8. Ben – indeed, we must be careful not to despise the genuine because of the false. I have seen such of late on some sites (a minority that I have visited) and it grieves me just as much as the flakies, or the “kooky family” as the new prophets are now dubbed…. a fitting name indeed.

  9. I have had two angelic visitations in my life when an angel has given me a message from heaven. Another time, when my son’s life was in the balance I heard the singing of heaven while praying for him.

My concern is that the influx of clearly unbiblical angelic encounters is going to cause people who have had genuine encounters afraid of sharing them if the Lord wants them to. By making these experiences allegedly common, it cheapens the value of a genuine encounter from heaven. I don’t need an encounter, I live by faith in the Word not by experiences, but experiences have happened and they have been life changing.

Or worse, that people reject a genuine encounter and miss something the Lord wants for them.

  10. Ben – that’s exactly what has happened with the prophetic, where the prophetic is two a penny, and often false, and everything common is called prophetic – so even those in their own circles do not value or cherish it as THE VOICE OF GOD.

  11. I have never had a visitation by an angel before but I have heard unexplained heavenly singing at least 3 times in my life…once it occurred when I was very ill and it was unlike any music I have ever heard…it went on for hours and I have never felt such a peace before…it truly ministered to me…the last time I heard it was just weeks ago when my husband was out of town…I was asleep on the couch and was awakened by this music that was indescribable. I just closed my eyes and listened…it was very comforting and dispelled my fear about being alone with my husband out of town…

  12. Well Lorie I can tell you that in Wales Quicken seems to have let him down badly an investment he was in, in Wales turned bad and lost him a lot of money, Sadly the business closed in July this year, also having prophesied over the business that it was going to be highly profitable with high returns encouraging his close friend to go ahead with the business, it seems this prophet could not see it coming despite quickens help or rather the lack of it.
None are so blind as those who do not want to see or only see what they want to.
Now what was it they did to false prophets.
Perhaps he should use his Platenum finger to do good instead of BAD!!!

  13. Philip – to clarify, ‘him’ was Gary Morgan was it?

  14. Dave Roberson emailed an article to a friend who forward it to me, about his experiences of angelic singing. Unfortunately I can’t find it on the net. I don’t actually know anything about Roberson, but what he wrote seemed pretty sound to me.

He says that one time he had an experience of angelic singing, but it was a deception designed to puff him up and lead him astray in a Bob Jones kind of way.

It is not my intent to imply that the testimonies above were from deceptive experiences, but rather to encourage care and discernment.

  15. Yes to clarify him is definately Garry Morgan

    Comment by Philip | August 29, 2008

  16. Ive seen Gary perform his show before, as that is what it is and not ministry. Its a dangerous way to be heading in, as all he seems to be about is seeing signs and angels. What about seeing God move, when did God get cut from the equation? Jsesu spoke clearly and said to go into all the world and preacg the gospel. So why have the likes of Gary and Emerge wales etc vere away from that so much? As I have said I have attended a few of his and emerge wales meetings and never once has the gospel been spoken about. I really do not get where these people base their doctrines theologies and ideas on.

  17. Lisa, I believe you heard music. I need to know something. Will you answer me, please? Were you ever into the occult before coming to the Lord? Were you reading any specific books at the time you heard the music? Do you have sleep paralyisis? Please let me know, thanks.

  18. I attended Dave Roberson Church the family prayer center in Tulsa during the time that Dave Roberson had the visition and spoke about it. It was a plan of the enemy to lead him into a false manifestation of a revival he has been standing for for Tulsa for over 14 years. I believe the message is on the archives of iktus.net I believe it was in 2006 when He spoke about the experience of early 2007. Dave Roberson prays at length daily and is one of the most sound in his doctrine that I have encountered anywhere in the ministry. We miss his church very much but have been called to other work for God.
