Christian prophecy for the church and for the nations from a servant of God called to speak God’s word

Bill Yount: Don’t Speak Recession & When We Open Our Mouth We Are Prophesying!

Here follows a recent prophecy from Bill Yount [aka the Anointed Candy Bar King - see here as to why the name].

Note apart from the scripture twisting, false prophecy and the blatant heretical positive confession/word of faith theology [see articles on Rotten Roots of Word Faith and Positive and Negative Confession] - note also Bill Yount’s completrly crazy ideas about prophecy.

Bill Yount says that whenever we open our mouth we are prophesying, which is complete and utter rubbish and not logical, least of all biblical. For we can only truly prophesy if  and when  the Spirit of God comes upon us in power and enables us to prophesy. God manifests the gift as and when He wills within the people He wills. And not all are prophets. Those who claim they can prophesy ‘on demand’ any time they like about anything they like are false prophets. For God speaks when He wills to speak, to the person He wills to speak the message to, in the manner He chooses - not when any old person decides to prophesy.

The true prophet listens to God and then conveys His message, whatever it is [the prophet has control over the timing and delivery of the message only after  God speaks. He certainly does not have control of the actual contents of the message that he should deliver, nor when God speaks the message]. It is not the case of the prophet commanding and creating or decreeing the message on his own initiative as and when he wants for anything he  wants. It is all about God!

Though the prophet can certainly seek God on any matter of their choosing and can control prophecy to a certain extent  by their obedience, availability, eagerness, faith, and their seeking and their enquiries - – for all their faithfulness, works, their willingness or lack of it, THEY still CANNOT create or dictate the original message.  THAT IS GOD’S JOB! I can enquire of the Lord, certainly. I cannot guarantee I will get an answer when I want it, or dictate when that answer will come, and I certainly cannot say before time what the answer will be – if I can do that then I prophesy only in the flesh!

Anyway, that all said, Bill Yount’s ideas, I guess, explain in some part how some folks can sincerely blind themselves to think they are not  false prophets by positively confessing their way out of the ever-deepening holes they dig for themselves. Like all false prophets, I have noted the over-focus on money. How does Yount talk his way out of that one, I wonder?

“Don’t Speak Recession, but Speak More than Enough!
by Bill Yount

“MY TESTIMONY IS CHANGING TO BE MORE THANKFUL FOR WHAT MONEY CANNOT BUY….”I’M BREATHING, MY HEART IS BEATING, AND I HAVE A PULSE!…. I’M A RICH MAN!”  1 Thessalonians 5:18

1 Thessalonians 5:18 “In everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

It is so important for everyone one of us to be in the will of God this hour. This verse tells us how to get there!  “In everything  give thanks!” Could being thankful possibly cancel your personal ‘recession’, or a possible coming ‘drepression’ that man is telling you about? I believe we need to celebrate ‘Thanksgiving’ every day starting now!

“HAS YOUR MOUTH SPOKEN THE WORD ‘RECESSION’ OR ‘A POSSIBLE COMING DEPRESSION’?  IF SO….REPENT!”  Proverbs 13:2,3    How many times have we said, “I’m broke, I’m sick, I’m catching a cold” and watched it come to pass? Little do we realize that when we open our mouth we are prophesying!  Why not say…”I have all the money I will ever need! I am catching another healing! Colds can’t catch up with me, for goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life! My two angels, ‘goodness’ and ‘mercy’ take care of me!

Proverbs 13:2,3 ( the book of wisdom )  2.”A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth….” 3. He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life; but he that openeth wide his lips shall eat violence.”

IF A COIN WAS FOUND IN A FISH”S MOUTH, MAYBE THERE IS A CONNECTION BETWEEN OUR MOUTH AND OUR MONEY! Matthew 17:27

Matthew 17:27 “Not withstanding, lest we should offend the government, go to the sea and cast a hook and take up the fish that first comes up. And when you open his mouth you will find a piece of money. Take the money, give to them for Me and you.”   ( paraphrased )

I heard a saying once that even a fish would stay out of trouble if it learned to keep its mouth shut!

In the Spirit I saw words coming out of the mouths of God’s people that appeared to be forming chain like links hooking together. These were negative words and with each comment the chain grew thicker wrapping itself around the object we were complaining about. One of the largest chains I saw was wrapping around finances. Each time someone would say, “I don’t have enough money,” this chain became reinforced with strength, wrapping tighter around that person’s wallet or purse and bank account. As this complaining continued, I saw huge locks coming upon these chains, as a spirit of poverty and depression began to be released from hell to fulfill the words that were being spoken!

“THOU ART SNARED WITH THE WORDS OF YOUR MOUTH, THOU ART TAKEN WITH THE WORDS OF YOUR LIPS.” Proverbs 6:2

I saw enormous chains come over whole ministries and churches. Wherever two or more people were gathered together and began to say, “We don’t have enough money for this or that in our ministry or church,” huge chains began to wrap around whole ministries, congregations, pulpits and altar rails. I saw a muzzle come over the mouths of many pastors when just a few church members spoke in agreement, saying, “We can’t afford to pay him that much!” Chains from hell started growing around that pastor’s whole family as the spirit of poverty continued to increase in churches, like a little leaven leavening the whole lump! I saw churches closing as chains and locks were being installed on their front doors as the spirit of poverty overcame many members, stopping them from giving tithes and offerings.

BREATHING QUALIFIES US TO WORSHIP!  Psalm 150:6

Psalm 150:6 “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.”

I then saw in the Spirit one person stand up in a church that was about to close its doors. This person began lifting up his wallet toward heaven and began thanking God that he even had a wallet. Though nothing was inside his wallet, he began praising God that he had the breath to praise Him in spite of his lack of finances. As this man began lifting up his wallet with thanksgiving and praise, the chain snapped off of it and the Lord spoke audibly to this church. “Let everything that has breath praise Me. In everything give thanks.” A revelation was breaking forth upon God’s people that just breathing qualifies us to praise and worship Him! “Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord!” Psalm 150:6

“BY YOUR WORDS, YOU SHALL BE JUSTIFIED…..”  Matthew 12:37

“In God We Trust!” became a sermon as someone pulled out his last dollar bill and began to prophesy what was written on our money. Our money was now preaching to us to not to trust in it but trust in our God!  ‘Don’t count your money…read it!’ As ministries, churches and their members rediscovered that God was their source, they were freed as the chains and locks began to melt in the presence of the Lord!

SOME OFFERINGS HAD TO BE STOPPED….”WE HAVE ENOUGH MONEY WITH LEFTOVERS!”

A fresh oil of giving flowed upon God’s people as they became thankful. I saw a key turning in the vault of the bank in heaven and finances from this bank began filling wallets, purses, ministries, and churches with whatever they needed. Money that was not minted by man was at times discovered!  Some offerings given were going over the top and some pastors began declaring, “We have enough money, with leftovers!

Thanksgiving seemed to reverse and chase away the spirit of poverty, recession and every kind of depression known to man. Not only physical, but spiritual, emotional, mental and yes, our needs were still being met according to His riches in glory!”

  1. This is of course absolute rubbish for all kinds of reasons.
I always subject this kind of stuff to what I call my ‘Africa Test’. What this means is, that if a prophecy is from God, then it ought, unless it’s particularly specific, to apply to ALL God’s people the world over. So – do all these ‘prophecies’ about God providing sackfuls of money to all His people apply to Christians in Africa? Or China? Or East Asia? Why haven’t they got mansions and cars? Don’t they pray hard enough? Or read the right rubbish? The greed of the West, and especially those who falsely prophesy, is appalling. This isn’t a prophecy, just a hope – that God will indeed redistribute wealth away from the liars and charlatans and towards His faithful people who have to trust Him for the next meal…
The drivel here is only the latest example of sheer nonsense. So Goodness and Mercy are angels now, are they? Hey Todd! Here’s another couple of angels for your collection!
And so God wants us to learn that money comes from what we say – by putting a coin in a fish? Hmmm – unusual parallel there…
And I really like the bit condemning congregations for their lack of faith in paying the pastor big money!! Shame on us! Don’t we know that our pastors deserve their huge mansions and flashy cars? So come on, my fellow suckers – join me in trusting God for more cash for these paragons of virtue. And if we don’t have enough money for ourselves – well, at least we can be happy knowing the sharks have got more than enough for themselves…

  2. I do see what your saying about the money focus and claims but heck the other side of that is who wouldn’t want to prosper some…I use to really despise all that prospering talk..one day i was watching some christians walking into their big prosperous church..I was really mad then I realized that I had nothing and at least they had some belief that their God would provide. Funny you brought it up the subject…a man just prophesied over me concerning my words and watching them….are there self fullfilling prophecies…you bet ya…..Are they all from God….Who knows it all, but his word, when it comes down to it

  3. Again dear businessvisionreport, the modern false prophetic movement in the charismatic church is driven by a love of the American Dream House, the American dream of riches, etc., not the Cross. This is why the charismatics support an apostate Mormon like Mitt Romney… because Mormons also want to keep that “American Dream of riches” alive. The true church worships only at the feet of the Cross, NOT at the altar of American Family Values or the rags-to-riches American Dream.

Obviously, with the events of the past year, God is not impressed with us worshipping the blessings more than the One who gave us the blessings. We are Mystery Babylon for this very reason. God is a jealous God who will have NO other gods before Him… including the American Dream House. This is the real reason for the financial meltdown. As for Christians, it will test who we worship as the Anti Christ is revealed. Watch out for any “prophetic word” about money. The Jezebel spirit of this NAR Apostolic Prophetic cult is obsessed with false prophecies about finances. God will provide, but it is Him on the throne of our hearts FIRST. He will judge and strike down any other god that dares to sit there, to show us what idolators we are.

  4. When he mentions Matthew 12:37, he takes it out of context. The context is: ” 33″Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad, for the tree is known by its fruit. 34You brood of vipers! How can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 The good person out of his good treasure brings forth good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure brings forth evil. 36 I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, 37 for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.
38Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered him, saying, Teacher,we wish to see a sign from you.” 39But he answered them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it..”

  5. I have known Bill Yount for 35 years. He is my best Friend. While I do not condone a lot that is Pentecostal today, I have never heard Him speak Kenneth Copeland style Positive confession stuff. Never.
