Prophecy of the Fallen Fat Wallet

I think some of you guys have been praying for me specifically to get more revelation in certain areas – in fact I am sure of it, and believe at least one person has enquired of God specifically to give me more detail on certain matters – as I have had a load of visions over the last few days!

Anyway, I had a vision in the early hours of this morning – 31st January 2009. {I was wide awake at the time].

In this vision, I saw a fat closed wallet, stuffed fat full of wads of banknotes – and it was lying on the pavement - it had been dropped, and perhaps it was lost too. I saw how this wallet had first gone high flying through the air, and then fallen down and landed on the spot, as someone [its 'owner'] had tripped on the pavement further up the road, thus dropping it out of their hands so it went flying to this place.

I believe the interpretation of this vision is to do with the economy. That the economic crisis which was caused by men ‘tripping’, caused it to soar high and then to fall and descend. [This bit we know already].

But there is more – I understand that God is saying more descent is to come – as the wallet has not yet reached the ground in its fall. {The ’spot’ where it falls perhaps being symbolic for the low spot rate at that time [its value effectively].] So we have seen the high flying in the bubble, and we have seen part of the rapid descent. Yet we are still to see the landing – or the bottoming out. And God is saying that another sharp descent/fall is coming  to cause this – there is lower to go for the value of certain currencies and the economy, and I believe quite significantly so in terms of the height of this new drop.

Economic fatness [eg prosperity/wealth] represented by the fatness of the wallet, will be a thing of the past for certain nations and national wealth will fall a lot.

Very Real New World Order – More Than Conspiracy Theory

“It is hard to believe, but a majority of Americans (including Christians and conservatives) seem oblivious to the fact that there is a very real, very legitimate New World Order (NWO) unfolding. In the face of overwhelming evidence, most Americans not only seem totally unaware of this reality, they seem unwilling to even remotely entertain the notion.

On one hand, it is understandable that so many Americans would be ignorant of the emerging New World Order. After all, the mainstream media refuses to report, or even acknowledge, the NWO. Even “conservative” commentators and talk show hosts such as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, or Joe Scarborough refuse to discuss it. And when listeners call these respective programs, these “conservative” hosts usually resort to insulting the caller as being some kind of “conspiracy kook.” One host even railed that if anyone questions the government line on 9/11, we should “lock them up and throw away the key.” So much for freedom of speech!

This is an area–perhaps the central area–where liberals and conservatives agree: they both show no patience or tolerance for anyone who believes that global government (in any form) is evolving. One has to wonder how otherwise intelligent and thoughtful people can be so brain dead when it comes to this issue. It makes one wonder who is really pulling their strings, doesn’t it?

The list of notable personalities who have openly referenced or called for some kind of global government or New World Order is extremely lengthy. Are all these people “kooks” or “conspiracy nuts”? Why would world leaders–including presidents, secretaries of state, and high government officials; including the media, financial, and political elite–constantly refer to something that doesn’t exist? Why would they write about, talk about, or openly promote a New World Order, if there is no such thing?

Many of us recall President George Herbert Walker Bush talking much about an emerging New World Order. For example, in 1989, Bush told the students of Texas A&M University, “Perhaps the world order of the future will truly be a family of nations.”

Later, Bush, Sr. said, “We have before us the opportunity to forge for ourselves and for future generations a new world order . . .. When we are successful, and we will be, we have a real chance at this new world order, an order in which a credible United Nations can use its peacekeeping role to fulfill the promise and vision of the U.N.’s founders.”

Bush, Sr. also said, “What is at stake is more than one small country, it is a big idea–a new world order.”

Bush, Sr. further said, “The world can therefore seize the opportunity to fulfill the long-held promise of a new world order . . .”

What was President G.H.W. Bush talking about, if there is no such thing as an emerging New World Order? Was he talking out of his mind? Was he hallucinating?

England’s Prime Minister, Tony Blair, said, “We are all internationalists now, whether we like it or not.” He continued saying, “On the eve of a new Millennium we are now in a new world. We need new rules for international co-operation and new ways of organizing our international institutions.” He also said, “Today the impulse towards interdependence is immeasurably greater. We are witnessing the beginnings of a new doctrine of international community.”

In 1999, Tony Blair said, “Globalization has transformed our economies and our working practices. But globalism is not just economic. It is also a political and security phenomenon.”

What is Tony Blair talking about, if there is no emerging New World Order? What does he mean by “a new doctrine of international community”? What does he mean by “new world”? How can one have globalism, which includes “a political and security phenomenon,” without creating a New World Order? Is Tony Blair hallucinating?

Likewise, former President George W. Bush penned his signature to the Declaration of Quebec back on April 22, 2001, in which he gave a “commitment to hemispheric integration and national and collective responsibility for improving the economic well-being and security of our people.”

By “our people,” Bush meant the people of the Western Hemisphere, not the people of the United States. Phyllis Schlafly rightly reminded us that G.W. Bush “pledged that the United States will ‘build a hemispheric family on the basis of a more just and democratic international order.’”

Remember, too, that it was G.W. Bush who, back in 2005, committed the United States to the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP), which is nothing more than a precursor to the North American Community or Union, as outlined in CFR member Robert Pastor’s manual, “Toward a North American Community.”

If there is no such thing as an emerging New World Order, what was G.W. Bush talking about when he referred to “a hemispheric family” and an “international order”?

The public statements of notable world leaders regarding an emerging New World Order are copious. Consider the statements of former CBS newsman, Walter Cronkite.

In his book, “A Reporter’s Life,” Walter Cronkite said, “A system of world order–preferably a system of world government–is mandatory. The proud nations someday will see the light and, for the common good and their own survival, yield up their precious sovereignty . . .” Cronkite told BBC newsman Tim Sebastian, “I think we are realizing that we are going to have to have an international rule of law.” He added, “We need not only an executive to make international law, but we need the military forces to enforce that law.” Cronkite also said, “American people are going to begin to realize that perhaps they are going to have to yield some sovereignty to an international body to enforce world law.”

If there is no emerging New World Order, what is Walter Cronkite talking about? Can there be any doubt that Cronkite is talking about global government? Absolutely not!

Now, when Bush, Sr. talks about fulfilling “the promise and vision of the U.N.’s founders,” he was talking about the same thing former UN Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali was talking about when he said, “The time for absolute and exclusive sovereignty . . . has passed.”

The United Nations has been on the forefront of promoting the New World Order agenda since its very inception. In 1995, the UN released a manual entitled, “Our Global Neighborhood.” It states, “Population, consumption, technology, development, and the environment are linked in complex relationships that bear closely on human welfare in the global neighborhood. Their effective and equitable management calls for a systematic, long-term, global approach guided by the principle of sustainable development, which has been the central lesson from the mounting ecological dangers of recent times. Its universal application is a priority among the tasks of global governance.”

If there is no emerging New World Order, what is “global governance” all about?

“Who are the movers and shakers promoting global government?” you ask. Obviously, it is the international bankers who are the heavyweights behind the push for global government. Remember, one cannot create a “global economy” without a global government to manage, oversee, and control it.

In a letter written to Colonel E. Mandell House, President Franklin D. Roosevelt said, “The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the large centers has owned the government of the U.S. since the days of Andrew Jackson.”

“Old Hickory” did his best to rid the United States from the death grip that the international bankers were beginning to exert on this country. He may have been the last President to actually oppose the bankers. In discussing the Bank Renewal bill with a delegation of bankers in 1832, Jackson said, “Gentlemen, I have had men watching you for a long time, and I am convinced that you have used the funds of the bank to speculate in the breadstuffs of the country. When you won, you divided the profits amongst you, and when you lost, you charged it to the bank. You tell me that if I take the deposits from the bank and annul its charter, I shall ruin ten thousand families. That may be true, gentlemen, but that is your sin! Should I let you go on, you will ruin fifty thousand families, and that would be my sin! You are a den of vipers and thieves. I intend to rout you out, and by the eternal God, I will rout you out.”

Unfortunately, the international bankers proved themselves to be too formidable for President Jackson. And in 1913, with the collaboration of President Woodrow Wilson, the bankers were given charge over America’s financial system by the creation of the Federal Reserve.

Ever since the CFR and Trilateral Commission were created, they have filled the key leadership positions of government, big media, and of course, the Federal Reserve.

In his book, “With No Apologies,” former Republican Presidential nominee Barry Goldwater wrote, “The Trilateral Commission is intended to be the vehicle for multinational consolidation of the commercial and banking interests by seizing control of the political government of the United States. The Trilateral Commission represents a skillful, coordinated effort to seize control and consolidate the four centers of power– political, monetary, intellectual and ecclesiastical. What the Trilateral Commission intends is to create a worldwide economic power superior to the political governments of the nation-states involved. As managers and creators of the system, they will rule the future.” Was Goldwater a prophet or what?

And again, the goals of the global elite have been publicly stated. Back in 1991, the founder of the CFR, David Rockefeller praised the major media for their complicity in helping to facilitate the globalist agenda by saying, “We are grateful to the Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. . . . It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries.”

How could Rockefeller be any plainer? He acknowledged the willful assistance of the major media in helping to keep the elitists’ agenda of global government from the American people. To this day, the major media has not deviated from that collaboration. And this includes the aforementioned “conservative” talking heads. They know if they want to keep their jobs, they dare not reveal the New World Order. The NWO, more than anything else, is the “Third Rail” to the national media.

Is it any wonder that President Barack Obama has stacked his government with numerous members of the CFR? Among these are Robert Gates, Janet Napolitano, Eric Shinseki, Timothy Geithner, and Tom Daschle. Other CFR members include CFR President Richard Haass, CFR Director Richard Holbrooke, and founding member of the Trilateral Commission and CFR member Paul Volcker. Obama even asked a CFR member, Rick Warren, to deliver the inaugural prayer.

Still not convinced? Just a few days ago, when asked by a reporter what he thought the most important thing was that Barack Obama could accomplish, former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger said, “I think his task will be develop an overall strategy for America in this period when, really, a New World Order can be created. It’s a great opportunity; it isn’t just a crisis.”

This is the same Henry Kissinger, you will recall, who said back in 1991, “Today, America would be outraged if UN troops entered Los Angeles to restore order. Tomorrow, they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told that there were [sic] an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being granted to them by the World Government.”

Even Gideon Rachman, the chief foreign affairs commentator for the Financial Times, wrote an editorial expressing his support for world government. In his column he said, “I have never believed that there is a secret United Nations plot to take over the US. . . . But, for the first time in my life, I think the formation of some sort of world government is plausible.

“A ‘world government’ would involve much more than co-operation between nations. It would be an entity with state-like characteristics, backed by a body of laws. The European Union has already set up a continental government for 27 countries, which could be a model. The EU has a supreme court, a currency, thousands of pages of law, a large civil service and the ability to deploy military force.

“So could the European model go global? There are three reasons for thinking that it might.”

Rachman then goes on to explain the reasons why he believes world government is plausible.

Do you now see why it does not matter to a tinker’s dam whether it is a Republican or Democrat who resides at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue? For the most part, both major parties in Washington, D.C., have been under the dominating influence of the international bankers who control the Federal Reserve, the CFR, and the Trilateral Commission. And this is also why it does not matter whether one calls himself conservative or liberal. For the most part, both conservatives and liberals in Washington, D.C., are facilitating the emerging New World Order. It is time we wake up to this reality.

Presidents Bush, Sr., Bill Clinton, and Bush, Jr. have thoroughly set the table for the implementation of the NWO, as surely as the sun rises in the east. All Obama has to do is put the food on the table–and you can count on this: Barack Obama will serve up a New World Order feast like you cannot believe!

That a New World Order is emerging is not in question. The only question is, What will freedom-loving Americans do about it? Of course, the first thing they have to do is admit that an emerging New World Order exists! Until conservatives, Christians, pastors, constitutionalists, and others who care about a sovereign, independent United States acknowledge the reality of an emerging New World Order, they will be incapable of opposing it. And right now, that is exactly what they are not doing.

In my last column, I attempted to wake up my fellow Americans, who are either currently slumbering through the collapse of our constitutional republic or in a protracted state of denial regarding a very real–and very dangerous–burgeoning New World Order. The information that I need to disseminate on this matter is so plentiful that it is extremely difficult to condense into one column. Therefore, I must at least attempt to provide a little more information on this subject. I will use this column to do just that.

I already quoted former President George Herbert Walker Bush in my previous column. Here are more of his quotes. In 1991, Bush, Sr. said, “My vision of a New World Order foresees a United Nations with a revitalized peacekeeping function.” In 1992, he said, “It is the sacred principles enshrined in the United Nations charter to which the American people will henceforth pledge their allegiance.”

Wow! I thought U.S. Presidents, as well as all civil magistrates and military personnel, swore an oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution. Not in Bush’s mind, obviously.

On January 25, 1993, Warren Christopher, the new Secretary of State under Bill Clinton, told CNN: “We must get the New World Order on track and bring the U.N. into its correct role in regards to the United States.”

In 1958, Cleon Skousen, a former FBI agent (a man I was fortunate enough to get to know before his death), wrote a book entitled “The Naked Communist.” In it, he outlined the long-term communist agenda. Since then, the movers and shakers of the New World Order have successfully achieved many of these goals within the U.S. Here are some samples of those goals:

* Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.
* Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.
* Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind.
* Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.
* Get control of the schools.
* Infiltrate the press.
* Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.
* Break down cultural standards of morality.
* Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with social religion.
* Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

Is there anyone who cannot see that the purveyors of the New World Order have largely achieved most of their goals? All they need to do now is tie it all together under one governmental umbrella.

One of the organizations that is at the forefront of promoting the New World Order is the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). In my last column, I showed how the CFR dominates the Presidencies of both Republican and Democratic administrations (including the current one), as well as the Federal Reserve. I would even go so far as to say that the CFR is a very “clear and present danger” to the sovereignty and independence of the United States.

For example, CFR member and UN spokesman, Walt Rostow, said, “It is, therefore, an American interest to see an end to nationhood.”

The American people need to wake up to the fact that the international banking interests that dominate our political and financial entities are working tirelessly to “see an end to nationhood.” I am talking about the Rothschilds and Warburgs of Europe, and the houses of J.P. Morgan, Kuhn, Loeb, Schiff, Lehman, and Rockefeller.

Rear Admiral Chester Ward, who was the Judge Advocate General of the Navy from 1956-1960 and a former member of the CFR who pulled out after realizing what they were all about, warned the American people about the dangers of this and similar organizations (such as the Trilateral Commission). He said, “The most powerful clique in these elitist groups have one objective in common–they want to bring about the surrender of the sovereignty and the national independence of the United States. A second clique of international members in the CFR . . . comprises the Wall Street international bankers and their key agents. Primarily, they want the world banking monopoly from whatever power ends up in the control of global government.”

Admiral Ward also said, “The main purpose of the Council on Foreign Relations is promoting the disarmament of U.S. sovereignty and national independence and submergence into an all powerful, one world government.”

Remember, the CFR was incorporated in 1921 and is currently comprised of only about 4,000 members. The CFR was co-founded by Edward Mandell House and John D. Rockefeller. Colonel (an honorary title–he was not a military colonel) House had been the chief advisor of President Woodrow Wilson. Historians often call House “Wilson’s alter ego” due to the powerful influence he held over the President. House was a rabid Marxist, whose goal was to socialize the United States. In his book, “Philip Dru: Administrator,” House said he was working for “socialism as dreamed of by Karl Marx.”

House’s stated goals were to incorporate a gradual income tax upon the backs of the American people for the purpose of establishing a state-controlled central bank. Both of these goals were accomplished in 1913, the very first year of the House-dominated Wilson administration.

House’s blueprint became the foundation for the CFR. What was not accomplished by the proposed League of Nations at the end of World War I was realized with the formation of the United Nations at the end of World War II. Not by accident, much of the original funding for the CFR came from Rockefeller and J. P. Morgan. President Franklin D. Roosevelt gave CFR members much authority in his administration, and they have pretty much dominated the foreign and financial policies of the United States ever since.

In the April, 1974 edition of the CFR publication, “Foreign Affairs,” Columbia University Professor and CFR member Richard Gardner wrote a column entitled, “The Hard Road to World Order.” In it, he called for “an end run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece.” He named the following organizations that would help fulfill that objective: the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT), the Law of the Sea Conference, the World Food Conference, the World Population Conference, and of course, the United Nations. I would also include NAFTA, the World Trade Organization (WTO), the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP), CAFTA, etc.

The CFR has a sister organization called the Trilateral Commission (TC). This group was co-founded by the Marxist, Zbigniew Brzezinski, and David Rockefeller. Like Gardner, Brzezinski calls for a piecemeal “movement toward a larger community of the developed nations . . . through a variety of indirect ties and already developing limitations on national sovereignty.” (Source: Brzezinski, Between Two Ages, p. 296)

Brzezinski is also a major proponent (along with CFR member Robert Pastor) of the North American Community (or Union), whose construction began during the second term of President George W. Bush and continues today under President Barack Obama.

Here is a sample list of the notable dignitaries in and out of government who hold (or held) membership in the CFR or TC (and sometimes both):

Bruce Babbitt. Howard Baker. Samuel Berger. Elaine Chao. Dianne Feinstein. Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Chuck Hagel. Gary Hart. John McCain. George Mitchell. Bill Moyers. Jay Rockefeller. Donna Shalala. Strobe Talbott. Fred Thompson. Robert Zoellick. Richard Nixon. Hubert H. Humphrey. George McGovern. Gerald Ford. Jimmy Carter. John Anderson. Walter Mondale. Michael Dukakis. Al Gore. John Kerry.

It is absolutely essential that we stop looking at potential leaders as either Democrats or Republicans, or as conservatives or liberals. Those monikers mean very little today. We must start identifying people as either Americans or globalists. Either they believe in an independent, sovereign, self-governing United States of America, or they believe in supranational government and internationalism. Either they believe in devotion to the U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights, and Declaration of Independence, or they believe in the goals and objectives of the United Nations. We must rid ourselves of the propensity to support those who classify themselves as “conservatives,” and we must stop blindly supporting the GOP “because it is a ‘conservative’ party.” If they do not understand AND OPPOSE the New World Order, they do not deserve our support or our vote!

George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and George H.W. Bush laid the foundation for everything that Barack Obama is doing to facilite the New World Order. That two of these Presidents are Democrats and two are Republicans only proves my point: both the Democratic and Republican parties have succumbed to New World Order ideology.

There is more that we can do, of course, but I will save the bulk of that discussion for another day. In the meantime, we need to realize that the New World Order exists, to understand that both major parties are collaborating to facilitate its creation, to start looking at leaders as either Americans or globalists, and to refuse to support the latter in any shape, manner, or form.

Pastors need to start warning their people about the New World Order (and the Biblical principles relating to it) from their pulpits–loud and often! People need to start warning their family members and friends. We need to start searching out like-minded patriots–who understand what’s going on–for information and encouragement. And remember this: WE CAN DEFEAT THE NEW WORLD ORDER. Yes, we can!

The fatalistic view that we are helpless is a bunch of baloney! Our forefathers defeated the New World Order in their day. The globalists have been stymied many times through the years. The fact that they have not yet totally achieved their globalistic objectives shows us that it is possible to stop them, or at the very least, set their agenda backward.

I also urge my Christian brothers and sisters to rid themselves of the propensity to say, “This is God’s will; there is nothing we can do about it.” That, too, is hooey!

Christians are to be the “salt of the earth.” Salt is a preservative, a retardant against decay. We are instructed to be faithful “unto death.” In Romans chapter 3, the Apostle Paul made it clear that we must never support evil that good may come. I would remind my brethren that refusing to resist evil is the same as supporting it. Sitting back complacently and saying, “This must happen so Jesus can come,” borders on blasphemy. It runs counter to everything the Bible teaches. We Christians have a duty, an obligation to do right with no regard to outcome or consequences.

When asked when He would establish His Kingdom on the earth, the first thing out of Jesus’ mouth was, “It is not for you to know.” Yet, many Christians presume to know the times and seasons of Christ’s return. But let’s be honest with ourselves and admit that we do NOT know. To sit back and say that we have full understanding of Bible prophecy and can say for certain what God does or does not want to accomplish in and through our country is the height of arrogance and pride. Only God knows those things. It’s time we let God be God and start doing what is ours to do.

What we do know is any attempt at establishing global government is as wicked now as it was at the Tower of Babel. As Christians, we are instructed to resist the wicked one. We must oppose him and his work. We are told to “occupy” until Christ returns, whenever that is. To “occupy” means to “take care of business.” God expects us to follow His teaching and do what is ours to do. To use Christ’s coming as an excuse to not “take care of business” is itself inexcusable!

As John Quincy Adams said, “Duty is ours; results are God’s.” If we would truly do our duty, who knows what God would do to help us defeat (for the sake of our children and grandchildren) this devilish New World Order?

As for me and my house, we will fight for a free, independent and sovereign United States–so that we might walk, work, and worship in freedom–as long as we have breath in our being. How about you?

P.S. Several readers informed me that Michael Savage began acknowledging the New World Order on his radio show last year. Some said he has even spoken against it. This is good news. If only the rest of the so-called “conservative” talking heads would do the same thing–but in a more aggressive fashion: you know, like America’s freedom depended on it, because it does.

Dutch Sheets in Driver’s Seat Of New Apostolic Reformation

“My dear friend and partner in ministry Chuck Pierce stated prophetically to me that there was a major shift coming to the Apostolic Reformation. He then challenged me to hear from the Holy Spirit as to what this new phase looked like and what my leadership role in it was to be.

Chuck felt that this new assignment for my life was what Dr. Peter Wagner had seen in a dream concerning me. In Peter’s dream I had moved into the driver’s seat of a vehicle in which he and I were riding. We were left to interpret what that “vehicle” represented. The three of us now believe it was the Apostolic Reformation with all three of its components.

The plan involves taking the apostolic, prophetic and prayer movements to a much more practical level, resulting in regional transformation.

Most of us in the Apostolic Reformation have been transformed by the movement individually, as have our congregations and networks. However, if we are honest, we must acknowledge that for most of us this has not resulted in regional cultural change.

For this to occur, we must expand from relational apostolic networks primarily, to functional apostolic alliances, as well. God has given us (Dr. Wagner, Chuck Pierce, Robert Henderson, and me) a blueprint to accomplish this.

This new phase is not just for the apostolic leader of a local congregation or network, but for all of us who consider ourselves a part of this movement. If our stream has realized anything in the past 15-20 years, it is that the walls must come down between the pulpit and pew.

Shawn Bolz, Bill Johnson, Rick Joyner – The Upcoming ‘Civil War’ in the Church?

“Shawn Bolz at the Elijah List has something that he is selling that caught my eye.

He said,

Bill Johnson says “The Civil War about to break out in the Church is about the goodness of the Love of God.”

I have no idea why Shawn is quoting Bill Johnson, but you have to admit that the idea of a ‘civil war’ in the Church is eye catching. Anyone with a little bit of history and political science will tell you that the horrible bloodshed in the 1860’s here in the colonies States was not a ‘civil war.’ A civil war is a war between a state and domestic political actors that are in control of some part of the territory claimed by the state, each vying for control of the state.

In 1996, Rick Joyner said,

Then I turned and saw the army of the Lord standing behind me. There were thousands of soldiers, but they were still greatly outnumbered. I was shocked and disheartened as it seemed that there were actually many more Christians being used by the evil one than there were in the army of the Lord. I also knew that the battle that was about to begin was going to be viewed as The Great Christian Civil War because very few would understand the powers that were behind the impending conflict (Rick Joyner, The Final Quest, 1996, p.22).

Like the American Civil War, the coming spiritual civil war will also  be between the Blue and the Gray. In dreams and visions blue often represents heavenly mindedness- the sky is blue- and gray speaks of those who live by the power of their minds- the brain is often called gray matter- this will be a conflict between those who may be genuine Christians, but who live mostly according to their own natural minds and human wisdom, and those who follow the Holy Spirit ( “Civil War in the Church,”  The Morning Star Prophetic Bulletin, May 1996, 2)

Further, Joyner’s prognostications about the upcoming Christian Civil war are many and various. The most widespread publication is the book, The Final Quest (1996, Whitaker House), but he has also circulated several prophecies on the subject in his Morning Star Prophetic Bulletin.

In May 1996, Joyner sent out a message entitled ‘Civil War in the Church’. He makes the following points:

This is the greatest time of expectation in the history of Christianity- reconciliation and renewal are taking place everywhere and the church is growing at 200,000 people a day.

There is an advance of ecumenism and the breaking down of denominational barriers (including Catholic/Protestant) thanks to Christian TV.

Satan is about to test the church’s new unity.

In 1988, 1993, 1995 and Feb 1996, Joyner was shown that the church is headed for an inevitable spiritual civil war.

It will be “an opportunity to drive the accuser out of the church, for the church then to come into a unity that would otherwise be impossible”.

“[It will be] the end of Christianity as we know it. The very definition of Christianity will be changed, for the better.”

“The church that emerges will be full of unprecedented grace, truth and power.”

The conflict will be extremely costly and prolonged.

The primary issue (as with the American Civil War) at stake will be the eradication of “the spiritual slavery and oppression now existing in much of the church”.

“Nearly half the believers in the world today are held under a spiritual ‘plantation mentality’” with leaders seeking only to build and preserve their own empires.

“Satan’s ’strand of three cords’ (the control spirit, the political spirit and the religious spirit) by which he is yoking multitudes of believers, must be confronted and removed from our midst.” Then the church may “come into her ultimate glory”.

Much of the church uses “guilt, pressure, manipulation and control to compel men to do what we think they should do”. We must “remove the cancer from our midst”.

A major factor in the Christian Civil War will be strife over money.

Another will be tradition/ a religious spirit/ Pharisaism vs. what God is currently doing. “The more anointed a new movement is, the more these traditionalists will be threatened by it, and the more vehemently they will attack it.”

Some of those who oppose denominations will nevertheless keep others in fear and bondage to their own self-will.

There will be a fight between the true unity we have in Christ and the false unity of political expediency, tradition, way of life, etc.

The conflict will be between Christians who are heavenly-minded/ Spirit-led (Blues) and intellectual/ Mind-led (Grays).

The only way for true unity to occur is to rout the forces of spiritual slavery and oppression.

Unity and peace must be based on truth.

Many will fight simply out of loyalty for their organisation or denomination, not through true conviction.

There will appear to be a “total meltdown of Christianity [which] will result in one of her greatest victories … This will cause the Lord’s champions to ascend the mountain into higher realms of the Spirit than they have gone before. As they do, Faith, Hope and Charity will be revealed, and seen from even greater distances than would have otherwise been possible.

“The black church … will be the primary force to bring about the ultimate victory,” despite attacks from Satan and Islam. After the war, there will be no white or black church.

“There will be an entirely new definition of Christianity, which the Lord Jesus Himself has already written. The world will know us by our love.”

There will be a New Breed of Spiritual Leaders, who will fight for the Blues. They may not initially be appreciated.

The Blues will be fighting for the liberation of the Grays, not to destroy them. “We are not fighting against people, but the forces that deceive and bind them.”

Those who will not comply must be removed from their place of influence. “These can be distinguished by their attempts to spy out our liberty and yoke the church with bondage, or sow the doctrines the Scriptures call leaven.”

“All the movements that are working to bring about the unity of the church really have been sent by God … .We must do all that we can to strengthen every relationship, and reconcile with all those that we can.”

We must “strengthen the essential truths of our faith, within ourselves”, without compromise, and not follow organisations for their own sake.

We need to “judge ourselves, lest we be judged”, casting out any spirit of control in us.

Now, I am a bit late to the whole crazy right wing Kansas City Prophets shepherded by Bob Jones, but at some point people have to realize that the goal of the Kansas City Prophets, Joel’s Army, TheCall, and other little groups and movements (like the Seven Mountain Mandate) is to take over local churches, denominations, and individuals. Does this not sound familiar to anyone else?

I have said before that false prophets tend to lack imagination. And that one of the manifestations of this is that they think by equating the person they are prophesying over with a character from the Bible, that they appear to more true and their prophecy is somehow deemed more correct and/or anointed. But this of course, is codswallop, and is really more based on superstition than on anything else.

Do you remember how Sarah Palin was variously called by the false prophets an ‘Esther’ or ‘Deborah’ with just such an anointing for this time? {She was obviously not anointed for this role as she didn’t get into office, but this didn’t stop them saying it – and not repenting when they were proven to be wrong. They just make excuses for their failure like Julie Meyer did here!].  Women not in power or politics usually are compared to other biblical characters – single and hopeful ones are maybe compared to Ruth, and praying ones, Hannah, holding on to promises might make a Sarah, and some joyful ones may be called Elizabeth, and then the false prophets tend to run out of options! And how many men do you know are said to have the hearts of David?

I am not saying God can never speak in this way, or does not ever do comparisons with biblical characters in personal prophecy. He certainly speaks through their lives still today through the Bible.  But what I am saying is that God does not need  to do this in a personal prophecy. If each person is unique with a unique call, God does not need to refer back to a biblical character to compare the person to to validate His word to them!

One size does not fit all. We are not all  Davids, Josephs, Gideons, Moses, etc! We can be who we are, at this time, no comparisons needed. And even where there are similarities with someone being a bit like Deborah or David or whoever in the Bible, their whole lives are still not necessarily tied i,n and far more specification and distinction needs to be made in the prophecy where the comparison with the character starts and stops – if the prophecy is true, of course! False prophets tend not to care though about this part.

And then I find this recent article by J Lee Grady. Sigh.  Barack Obama is now being compared to Deborah’s military commander Barak in Bible. Because the names are almost the same, this is supposed to be a prophetic sign that what Grady says is automatically true?! Give me a break!  Remember how Grady called Palin an Esther and Deborah too – pre the election? Does he not see the contradiction in the fact that his ‘Deborah’, Sarah Palin, is not in charge of his ‘Barak’, in Barack Obama?!

This is just cheap sloppy lazy prophecy and/or teaching, that the ignorant give heed to and think is anointed because it sounds “biblical”! Allegedly biblically-based prophecy can still be false and dangerous! And then I also find problems with the bad teaching in it and where it is going – all roads lead back to C Peter Wagner and the NAR, as the saying now goes …. and dangerously so.

“What Barack Obama Must Learn from Barak of the Bible

We must pray that our new president will honor the God of our fathers and seek counsel from His prophets.

{Endtimespropheticwords note – “His prophets”? Barack Obama should seek counsel from people like Bob Jones,  Rick Joyner and Todd Bentley?! As these NAR prophets are the same prophets that NAR  Lee Grady acknowledges and promotes? They are not God’s prophets – they are as false as they come!

And by “the god of our fathers” is Lee Grady pushing the myth that  previous American presidents and government have all in large part followed God’s ways, and that America is a “Christian nation”?

And since when has the NAR followed the God of anyone’s fathers? Except the god of this world, perhaps.]

“The hearts of millions of Americans were stirred on Tuesday as we watched Barack Obama place his hand on Abraham Lincoln’s Bible and swear to uphold his duties as president. The cynicism and divisiveness of politics gave way to civility for a few moments as Obama stood on that massive stage in front of the Capitol and spoke of a “new era of responsibility” that he hopes to initiate.

We’ve seen similar patriotic moments in our lifetime, but Obama’s speech chiseled a landmark in our history. His message was especially poignant when he noted that his own father might not have been served in a local restaurant 60 years ago—yet today he “can now stand before you to take a most sacred oath.” The tears of older African-Americans in the crowd testified that Martin Luther King’s dream has been realized. 

“If President Obama truly wants to make the most positive mark on American history, he cannot simply position a few token Christians on his stage while the prophets of Baal surround him.”

{And those token Christians were who?! Interfaith Rick Warren or Joseph Lowery?! Openly gay bishop Gene Robinson?!]

“I salute Mr. Obama as my president and I welcome the racial reconciliation that his election symbolizes. But we all know that presidents aren’t proven by ceremonies, nor are they ultimately judged by their speeches or the response from the crowds. Today the inaugural stage will be dismantled, the decorations will be put away and the confetti will be swept up. And President Obama will face one of the most challenging jobs on the planet.

I am praying that he will learn the lesson of Barak.

Yes, there is a man in the Bible who shares our president’s name. Barak was chosen by God to lead Israel at a time of serious military and economic crisis.

[This is complete nonsense. Barak was ONLY the military commander, Deborah was the Judge, the actual leader of Israel - see Judges 4:4. She was in charge of Barak, having sent for him and commanding him to raise an army upon the Lord's command - see verse 6!! Barak ONLY led the army under Deborah's instructions, he in no way then fits the role of the president - that's Deborah! General Petreus or whoever is in that role now in the US military is more fitting to the Barak of the Bible! Barack Obama is NOT a soldier, or even military strategist, he is a politician!]

“The Canaanites were plotting an invasion, so Deborah—the prophet of the Lord at that time …

{Deborah was a prophetess, but there is nothing to say she was the only prophet or prophetess in Israel at that time. Grady is scripture twisting for a reason and leading up to something  for a specific purpose – that is NAR elitism and dominionism - saying that somehow the NAR apostles and prophets should be able to call the shots and tell Barack Obama what to do as they are THE prophet!  The false prophet in Revelation more like.]

“— called on Barak to defend Israel even though Jabin’s iron chariots far outnumbered Israel’s ragtag army.

{Deborah called on Barak as she was the policital leader in charge and the Lord instructed her to do this - not just because she was only a prophet who saw something in a vision. She had political and not just spiritual authority as the JUDGE of Israel to do this.]

“Barak had an unusual response to Deborah’s request. He told her: “If you will go with me, then I will go; but if you will not go with me, I will not go” (Judg. 4:8, NASB). This may sound like an admission of weakness, but Barak was no mama’s boy. He is actually listed as a hero of faith in the book of Hebrews (see Heb. 11:32). So why did he insist that Deborah accompany him?

Barak knew he could not be a successful leader without the Lord’s prophet by his side. He needed the counsel of God. He wanted the supernatural wisdom and favor that comes from honoring the Lord and His word.

{Yet the Book of Judges show that Barak’s reaction showed an element of weakness, lack of faith in GOD and also disobedience – he did not honor God’s word! God had commanded Barak, and told him specifically how to achieve military victory, yet Barak refused to go to plan, and argues and demands  Deborah goes with him contrary to original plan – showing his faith at that time was NOT solely in God but more in Deborah. This was wrong. And because of it some of Barak’s ‘glory’ went to Jael, a woman.

Judges 4. Verses 8 and 9 -

“Barak said to her, “If you go with me, I will go; but if you don’t go with me, I won’t go.”

“Very well,” Deborah said, “I will go with you. But because of the way you are going about this, the honor will not be yours, for the LORD will hand Sisera over to a woman.”

Yet despite its obvious wrongness, Grady then spins it as if Barak were right to so look to Deborah, with His eyes at least in part off the Lord, to pass on his damnable message of depending on the NAR false prophets and needing them to hold our hand.

The Bible says the opposite to what Grady claims.

“Barak knew he could not be a successful leader without the Lord’s prophet by his side.” – this is false, God had told Barak that He was with him and what to do in his part of the military option, but Barak had his eyes more on Deborah than on God. And even though Deborah was a godly woman and a true prophetess, it was still wrong of him. And of course Barak was only leader of the army, not the Judge.

 ”He needed the counsel of God. He wanted the supernatural wisdom and favor” says Grady wrongly, but Barak had that favor and “anointing”  resting on him already – [and it was through disobedience that he lost some of that favor and glory] – not in and through Deborah but from God because it was God’s command and God’s calling on Barak’s life. It was because he insisted the prophet and political LEADER of Israel went with him, that he lost out! The message of the story, in part, is don’t idolise or focus wrongly on the leader and the prophet – even if they be from God. Listen to them but keep your eyes on God always in it!]

“Every leader in the Bible was measured by his or her reliance upon the one true God. The Bible gives us a long list of the kings of Israel, and each one either stood or fell depending on how he aligned himself with God and His true messengers.

[Notice the talk of alignment and the not so subtle shift and distortion away from focussing on GOD - with Grady playing it that we need to align with God's "true messengers" in the NAR prophets and apostles in order to stand. This is downright deceitful]

“Those who honored God and listened to His prophets

{His prophets being key here – Israel were not to listen to the false prophets as Grady’s bunch so obviously are]

… experienced economic prosperity and military victory; those who turned to idols and listened to false prophets failed miserably.

{But still not the victory and rule and wealth of the dominionistic sort the NAR promotes.

And if Grady acknowledges Israel failed if they listened to false prophets, then why does he promote known false prophets himself? Why is he part of the false NAR?]

“Saul disobeyed Samuel’s counsel and ended his rule in disgrace.

{Samuel’s counsel – more like God’s word through His prophet Samuel. Note again the not so subtle shift from God’s word and counsel to the Prophet’s word or counsel.  I am not splitting hairs here, the difference is significant and huge when we see what the NAR want and demand.]

“Jeroboam set up golden calves for the people to worship, and because he disregarded the prophetic warnings of Ahijah he also failed. King Ahab refused to listen to Elijah’s rebukes, and instead surrounded himself with the prophets of Baal. His rule ended in tragedy.

There were a few kings in Israel, however, who chose godly counselors. David gave the prophet Nathan access to his palace and permission to speak into his personal life. After David’s sex scandal and political cover-up, Nathan’s confrontation brought him to repentance.

After King Hezekiah realized that he faced the most serious military threat in Israel’s history, he repented and prayed for deliverance. Isaiah the prophet then showed up and told him: “Because you have prayed to Me … I have heard you” (2 Kin. 19:20). Isaiah predicted the demise of the Assyrian army, and in one night the angel of the Lord slew 185,000 men.

Many other leaders in the Bible responded faithfully to God by choosing godly counselors to guide them.

{Where are these godly counsellors within the NAR? Known for merchandising, heresy, blasphemy, deception, scandal and whitewashing?]

“King Josiah consulted with the prophetess Huldah. Even kings of pagan nations were blessed when they listened to God’s prophets. Darius and Cyrus appointed Daniel as a top adviser, and King Ahasuerus elevated Mordecai to his highest cabinet post.

{Because Daniel proved to be true and reliable! NOT because of his claims or his falseness! Who of the NAR can honestly be listened to today because what they say is true, reliable and consistently comes to pass? Even their own do not listen to them – see here! What does this fact alone say?]

“How will Barack Obama be measured as a president? Hopefully he will be much more than just a symbol of racial healing. I am praying that he will seek out the Lord’s prophets and turn to God with the same fervor that Barak exhibited when he sought Deborah’s guidance.

Obama sent a few signals during his inauguration ceremony that affirmed our nation’s Christian values. His choice of California pastor Rick Warren to offer the invocation hinted that our new president is willing to include evangelical Christians in his policy discussions.

{There is more to this than meets the eye – does Lee Grady not know what Warren is and politically represents?!]

The racial healing our nation is experiencing right now will prove to be superficial if Obama veers our nation away from the God of our fathers and rejects His moral principles. In his speech on Tuesday, President Obama said he felt “humbled” by the events surrounding this historic election. The test of his humility has now begun. It will be made obvious by who he listens to.

Many secular forces—from inside Congress, from Hollywood and from foreign nations—hope to use Obama to promote wicked agendas. Will he seize this moment and recognize his ultimate need to depend on God? Will he turn to God like Barak and lead our country into its greatest hour of victory?

{Lee Grady is confusing American destiny with Israel’s destiny. How does Grady know that God even wants America’s “greatest hour of victory”? What if God’s Will is something else concerning America? To give another land victory for whatever reason?

I sincerely hope that Barack Obama does turn to the one true God, for the sake of his own salvation more than anything – and to get godly counsel. It will make him a better leader and would benefit the nation - but his own salvation does not mean national salvation. And one thing is for sure – this godly counsel is never going to be found within the apostate NAR]

“Or will he follow the path of Ahab and become a stooge for Jezebel and her false prophets?

It’s time for the church to pray like never before that true prophets will have access to the White House and that our new president will honor God in the way he leads America.” [end]

[True prophets indeed. Amen to that!  But what Lee Grady is suggesting and what I am praying for is very different indeed. I want no part of his dominionist war games for worldwide takeover.]

Hillsong Desires To Be So Large The City And Nation Cannot Ignore It

Which – or whose - kingdom is being built here? Shouldn’t it all be about JESUS, not the church?

“Hillsong Church, Australia’s charismatic religious movement, which established itself in Cape Town just six months ago, has been described as “toxic Christianity” by some, but as having a “vibrant and positive outlook on life” by others.

With the World Cup-winning former Springbok coach Jake White, as well as controversial Western Province flank Luke Watson, in its congregation, the church has said it wants to be “so large that the city and nation cannot ignore it”.

According to media reports, the recently remarried and “reborn” White said his newfound religion had led him to reconcile with Watson, with whom he had several disputes.

“I feel sorry for Luke, and when I saw him the other day at [Hillsong] church, I went to shake his hand,” White was reported to have said, adding: “I am happy to have seen the light.”

Hillsong, which also has branches in Sydney, London and Kiev in Ukraine, claims to draw 20 000 devotees a week in Australia. In Cape Town, the congregation meets at the International Convention Centre on Sundays.

According to Hillsong Cape Town’s website, it aims to “champion the cause of the local church” and rely on “passionate and committed volunteers” to fund and run it.

Founding couple Brian and Bobby Houston wrote on the website: “The church that I see is a church of influence. A church so large in size that the city and nation cannot ignore it. I see a people so kingdom-minded that they will count whatever the cost and pay whatever the price to see revival sweep this land.”

Grant Donald, who attends the church, said: “The heart of Hillsong Cape Town is to reach out into the local community and make a positive difference in people’s lives.

“We care about the people in our city and we want to see change for the better and we are not afraid to partner with others in order to do as much as we possibly can.”

In the aftermath of the xenophobia-related violence last year, Hillsong was involved in relief work and setting up a “refugee fund”.

But such initiatives have been criticised by a former member, Australian Tanya Levin, author of the book People in Glass Houses: An insider’s story of life in and out of Hillsong.

She criticised Hillsong’s “prosperity theology”, which she said means “God wants you to be rich. He wants you to have prosperity in every area of your life, particularly your finances.”

Calling Hillsong’s version of Pentecostal worship “toxic Christianity”, she contrasted it to the “humble” Salvation Army.

In a 2007 article in The Australian, Levin wrote that while “most cannot identify what the business is or what exactly is being sold – it’s clear that there is a frustratingly unmeasurable amount of money being handed over via cash, cheques and credit cards”.

Noting her discomfort with the church’s focus on fundraising, she quoted a church group email which read: “Through our ongoing sacrificial giving by our church family, our loan balance is now down to $5,8-million. Wouldn’t it be a phenomenal miracle to see this fully paid off by the end of June 2005? We could then go into our next stage of building totally debt free.”

Levin asked: “Since when did a miracle coincide with the end of the financial year?”

Of criticism such as this, Donald asked: “Should we spend our time knocking institutions that didn’t live up to our personal expectations, or should we rather spend our valuable time making a positive difference in our community and in our circle of influence? I say the latter.”

Doyle Davidson Adultery With “Prophetess To The Nations” Kathie Small

“Davidson Returns to Adultery

Cult leader Doyle Davidson has found wife #3 and as many of us suspected she is currently the wife of another man. Long time church member Jack Small announced today that his wife of 26 years has left him and moved in with Davidson.

In recent months Kathie Small had taken on an increasingly visible role at the church with Davidson naming her a ‘prophetess to the nations’. In January Davidson announced that Kathie Small had joined the staff at Water of Life church. In his announcement today, Jack Small reveals that Doyle is paying his wife $1,000 per week, has given her the free use of a new Cadillac, and is buying all new furniture for their children who will move into Davidson’s home with her.

Mark 10:7-9
For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

These very words can be found on Kathie Small’s website in a posting in which she tells how God put she and Jack together. In it she says very clearly that the Lord Himself ordained their marriage. She even goes so far as to imply (falsely) that the wrath of God fell upon several people who spoke against the marriage. Now apparently God has changed His mind. Now Kathie claims that God has turned her heart from Jack to Doyle.

May I suggest that it is not ‘god’ at all that has turned Mrs. Small’s heart from her husband but rather the manipulative influence of Doyle Davidson. This sad episode is just the latest in a long line of broken marriages, tragedies, and untimely deaths that have followed Davidson’s ministry for years.

Many of us saw this coming because Davidson followed the same pattern with Small that he did with his former mistress Lisa Staton. He began by using flattery, exalting her to a higher position among the Water of Life faithful. In both cases he told the women that they were prophetesses and that God was calling them to ‘walk’ with him. Next came the barrage of private meetings and phone calls, many while the husband was away, some even late into the night. During this time Davidson would also find ways to humiliate and belittle the husband, sometimes publicly. Finally there was the offer of money, houses, and cars, a life of luxury and financial security that the husband was unable to match.

To those who remain supporters of Davidson and Water of Life church I ask, how many more lives must be destroyed before you wake up and flee that wicked place? How many more marriages must be put asunder? How many more unnecessary deaths will you witness? How long will you allow your money to be used to support adultery and lies?

The Lord is longsuffering and merciful but He will not strive with man forever. Right now the Lord is still calling many of you out of that place. He is offering repentance and forgiveness but sooner than you think that offer will be withdrawn and you will be completely turned over to your sin just like Davidson has been. Reprobation is a serious matter. Doyle Davidson is reprobate concerning the faith. He sins openly and willfully. He revels in it and flaunts it openly. The fruit of his reprobation is misery, death and destruction.

The Lord has already judged Doyle Davidson. The first step in judgment is always strong delusion. People like Doyle don’t even realize they are being judged. This same fate awaits all who remain supporters of his. The punishment of those who inquired of the false prophet will be the same as that of the false prophet himself.

Ezekiel 14:8-10
I will set My face against that man and make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of My people. Then you shall know that I am the LORD. “And if the prophet is induced to speak anything, I the LORD have induced that prophet, and I will stretch out My hand against him and destroy him from among My people Israel. And they shall bear their iniquity; the punishment of the prophet shall be the same as the punishment of the one who inquired,

This saying is coming to pass before your eyes. Doyle Davidson is being destroyed from among God’s people because he refuses to cast down the idols in his heart. The Lord is speaking to this false prophet. Will you listen and turn or remain and be destroyed with him?”

Rejected At The Jesus Lookalike Contest

There’s an amusing true story about the time the real Charlie Chaplin once entered – and lost – a Charlie Chaplin lookalike competition in San Francisco. His final place is not recorded, but he did not even make it through to the finals! Bizarre!

Thinking about this story, it made me wonder what would happen if the real Jesus entered a Jesus lookalike competition today on Earth - [in His unglorified form of course, which would not be possible, but just pretend for a minute He could actually do this before His official Second Coming? A contest where He was also allowed to speak, but no miracles were allowed as that would also be a dead giveaway.]

Methinks Jesus would not even make it through to the lookalike finals either – the church has such a warped and distorted picture of Him they would not recognise Him. Would I even recognise Him? Would you?  Hmm. Food for thought.

I wonder what the judges would say about this entrant too?

Ted Haggard on Joel Osteen’s “Pretty Good Theology”

Ted Haggard said the following on the September 13th 2005 broadcast of Issues, Etc  to interviewer Todd Wilken. Ted Haggard was then the leader of the National Association of Evangelicals and the NAR darling, and had not yet fallen under the sex scandal that is still dogging him now.

“Ted Haggard: I pastor a church of 11-12,000 people and unfortunately there have probably been 30 people in our visitor’s meeting that have asked to see the doctrinal position of our church.

Todd Wilken: What does that tell you, Pastor Haggard?

Ted Haggard: It means that people choose their church based on how it feels, not based on what it believes, which means we’re incredibly vulnerable.

Todd Wilken: To what?

Ted Haggard: Oh, to heresy.”

Then Ted Haggard goes on to say of Joel Osteen “… he does have pretty good theology“.  You cannot get much more theologically lite pap than from the mouths of Joel and Victoria Osteen!

And this lack of wisdom and discernment is yet one more indication that Ted Haggard should not be back in ministry – unless real change ensues – in both his behaviour and his theology.

More on Joel Osteen

Joel Osteen is a motivational speaker, not a preacher of God’s word. His message is one of the prosperity gospel, positive thinking, positive confession, feel-good-get-what-you-want-blab-it-and-grab-it word of faith heresy, and a complete absense of the message of the Cross or any talk about sin. Osteen’s messages are man focussed humanism - advice for being a better person and “living a better life” and getting success and whatever you want.  Sin is never mentioned, and Jesus rarely if ever mentioned.

The ‘internet monk’ says here:   

“In well over 25 hours of preaching that I listened to [by Joel Osteen] …, Jesus was almost never mentioned, and when he was mentioned, it was in a perfunctory prayer in the last minute. Sin, the Cross, the atonement? Not there.”

Detroit News rightly describes Osteen as having “A New Age Gospel of Motivational Messages.”

Osteen even says of New age guru Norman Vincent Peale:

 “I was preaching two or three years when someone gave me one of {Norman Vincent Peale’s] books. I was going to say, ‘He thinks like me.’ I think like him. It seems like it’s the same base there. God is on our side and if you think right, I believe, like Norman Vincent Peale did, that your life follows your thoughts. You get up negative, oppressive, your day will go that way.”

‘Thinking right’ by Osteen’s defintion has no need of the Cross.

Apologetics Index reports here on Joel Osteen’s view about Mormonism – as per his interview with Chris Wallace of FOX News:

“WALLACE: And what about Mitt Romney? And I’ve got to ask you the question, because it is a question whether it should be or not in this campaign, is a Mormon a true Christian?

OSTEEN: Well, in my mind they are. Mitt Romney has said that he believes in Christ as his savior, and that’s what I believe, so, you know, I’m not the one to judge the little details of it. So I believe they are.

And so, you know, Mitt Romney seems like a man of character and integrity to me, and I don’t think he would — anything would stop me from voting for him if that’s what I felt like.

WALLACE: So, for instance, when people start talking about Joseph Smith, the founder of the church, and the golden tablets in upstate New York, and God assumes the shape of a man, do you not get hung up in those theological issues?

OSTEEN: I probably don’t get hung up in them because I haven’t really studied them or thought about them. And you know, I just try to let God be the judge of that. I mean, I don’t know.

I certainly can’t say that I agree with everything that I’ve heard about it, but from what I’ve heard from Mitt, when he says that Christ is his savior, to me that’s a common bond.”

And from the same website, here are some Joel Osteen quotes on positive confession/word of faith -

“I believe one of the main ways that we grow in favor is by declaring. It’s not enough to just read it. It’s not enough to just believe it. You’ve got to speak it out. Your words have creative power. One of the primary ways we release our faith is through our words. There is a divine connection between you declaring God’s favor and seeing God’s favor manifested in your life. And some of you are doing your best to please the Lord. You are living a holy consecrated life, but you’re not really experiencing God’s supernatural favor. And it’s simply because you’re not declaring it. You’ve got to give life to your faith by speaking it out.”

and”Many of you today know this, you believe it down here in your heart. But the reason that your not experiencing as much as you should is because your not declaring it. You’ve got to give life to your faith by speaking it out. Your words have creative power. When you go around saying, ‘I have favor, people want to be good to me and supernatural doors are opening.’ When you make those declarations of faith–you are charging the atmosphere. And your own words can help to bring it to pass. That is why we should get into the habit of every day consistently speaking God’s favor over our lives.”

Seems like Ted Haggard is rotten to the core, and has been for at least some time. When will he repent?
