Christian prophecy for the church and for the nations from a servant of God called to speak God’s word

Prophecy re: Sarah Palin, 2009

In the early hours of this morning, January 3rd, I had a prophetic vision.

In this vision I saw a woman driving a motorised snow ski. The woman was unmistakably Sarah Palin – albeit she was not wearing her trademark spectacles – and because of this there was a certain ‘unmasking’ of her face. She was dressed symbolically in the type of clothes one imagines someone would wear in Alaska at this time of year – warm fur-lined hat and coat etc.

In the vision, she was sitting driving this snow ski. Then I quite clearly saw this snow ski do a complete U-turn and turnabout and start quickly going in the complete opposite direction.

I believe the interpretation of this is symbolic for something to happen to do with political manoevres involving Sarah Palin.

  2. I am afraid I do not hold the same admiration and devotedness to Sarah Palin as most Christians do, I will never forget her being able to bring someone in a crowd she was speaking to, to chant ‘KILL HIM’ as regards Barack Obama.
I think of the words in the Bible about ’self-ambition’
especially when I heard her say one day.
‘Yes, I could work with Obama’ this same man she was speaking against so boldly, they considered killing him.

I will never forget her being able to bring someone in a crowd she was speaking to, to chant ‘KILL HIM’ as regards Barack Obama.

In fairness, as far as I am aware, there is no evidence that Sarah Palin brought someone in to chant this – just that it was reported that someone chanted it at one of her rallies.

  6. But regardless of whether the comment was said or not said at the rally in question, as I stated before on this blog, unless Sarah Palin directly encouraged it/endorsed it and/or did not rebuke it if it was done loudly and/or in sufficient number – I cannot see how she can be held responsible for the behaviour of an individual in her crowd – any more than Obama is responsible for the comments of some nut shouting whatever at one of his rallies.

    Comment by endtimespropheticwords | January 4, 2009

  7. I saw the rally on TV and her speaking and heard what she said. ‘He hangs with terriorists, and I heard a person in the crowd shout out ‘KILL HIM’ if you are saying that this was proved to be false, then my ears deceived me….and
I bet that ‘proof’ was declared by Fox news.

Further I immediately emailed and said, if anything happens to Barack Obama, then his blood is on this womans hands,
and she incited it by HER words.

Now I did not imagine it, nor did I imagine hearint it.
What I am NOT sure of, but seem to recall is that McCain had to come in and clean up the mess, as he knew she had done wrong.

Miriam, I watcher it all like a hawk as you know aI believed back in Nov 2006 Barack Obama would be president, so I watched literally 2 – 4 hrs TV on both channels each day, and I listened carefully…it all started by Michelle Obama saying ‘fior the first time in her adult life, she was proud to be an American, and Sean Hannity saying over and ove and over…she said ‘For the first time in her life’

Fox news did this driven by Sean Hannity day after day after day on MANY issues, they were out to destroy this man,
and Sarah Palin joined in, to the point she made the statements she did, for the purpose of turning the people against him, the words she chose, and purposed to use….
‘hit the mark’. I sent an email warning her she was inciting hatred…and would be responsible of the consequenses….I should still have this on file, as I keep all emails.

And…the VAST majority of Christians were of a similiar
spirit, driven to destroy him. A believe a small handful have repented….some even sayaing he has the potential to be a great leader.

  8. Miriam,

I didn’t word the original properly, I didn’t mean she actually bought a person ‘in’ I was meaning she was able to bring a person in the crown to a point of declaring ‘kill him’ by her words, eg inciting hatred.

  9. It’s amazing to see these posts. If you are truly believers then ou will be unphased by anyone G-d puts into office. Neither Barack Obama nor Sarah Palin have the answers. As believers, we should be looking to G-d for our help and guidance and not mortal man. I do not believe it was Gov. Palin’s intention to incite someone to hurt Obama; nor do I believe it was Obama’s intention to have people wearing T-shirts saying Gov. Palin is a “C-word”. These acts were committed by over-zealous people/troublemakers.

I pray for Pres. Obama as the SCriptures say that we should pray for our leaders however; I do not put my trust in any mortal man. I put my trust in G-d and so should you. It really doesn’t matter who is in the Government as G-d raises them up and casts them down.

  10. It amazs me the amount of Christians who use the ‘follow Jesus not man card…its time to grow up.Do you think we came down in the last shower of monkeys and NEVER KNEW THIS?

Barack did not tell the crowd to wear the t/shirts.
Sarah Palin TOLD the crowd’ ‘h he pas around with teriorists’….KNOWING what she was doing, just like the Christians who spit out his name Barack Hussien Obama, to try and paint his a Muslim

If you want NO president in office, and to just follow Jesus
then scrub out the parts where Jesus tells us to pray for those HE puts in government.

    Comment by Paula | January 5, 2009

  11. Paula,

Read my post again. You’re obviously a zealous Obama supporter. I trust in G-d. Whomever He raises to leadership is His Will, He is in control…the leaders can do nothing without G-d allowing it. And G-d will take care of His children…no matter who is in charge. Obama is not the solution for the world’s problems…only G-d. And yes, I believe…I have been in places where I have had to rely solely on G-d for my needs because government was too corrupt or too criminal…I can’t wait for the time when Yeshua (Jesus) sets up His Government and reigns from Jerusalem…then, for believers, there will be no President…only an eternal King. That is what we are to watch for. His Return…

In my post I clearly said, I would pray for the leaders as the Scriptures command however; my desire and hope is in His Kingdom coming here on Earth…

I have to say you were very diplomatic and exercised self-control in your response to Paula. I am a Canadian and I think that you exemplified a Christ-like response with self-control in your response to Paula’s vitriol.I don’t see Christ in her response. I have noticed Obamamaniacs tend to have no tolerance for anyone of either differing opinions or who has legitimate questions about their idols. Obama has pal’d around with terrorists, sat under hateful racist sermons for 20 yrs, has crooks for neighbours and friends, ie Reszko, is the second largest receptor of monies from Fannie and Freddie, etc, and the list goes on. People were and are right to question – even when it comes to matters of faith or doctrine. Paul, John, Peter, and Jesus all warned against being deceived in ANY way, and to examine (scrutinise) all things, prove what is good, and holy, and perfect will of God. On the other hand He didn’t issue instructions to vilify those with whom you disagree.

completely right Sean Hannity was the wrost, then Rush Limabugh, and Laura Ingrham, even Mort from Fox had to chide them for it after several months of their not letting up with their false accusations and their lies.

I am sure they spent more than several hours a day reseraching as I did, its just that they chose to twist

wow… president elect obama is a david? i’m not particularly religious, nor do i align myself with the political neo-conservative right. but even i have enough spiritual/political sense to see that obama is not a david…unless god’s heart is to abort unwanted babies and condone gay civil unions.

he sat under a “pastor” who did nothing but spit out hate – and just like bill ayers and tony resko, the brilliant obama had NO IDEA what these people really stood for. either he’s lying or he’s totally oblivious and stupid. obviously he’s not stupid or oblivious.

i hope that obama will be able to help our country, but i fear that the pricetag for temporary stability is going to be much too expensive in the long run.

i’ll admit that i don’t like obama, but i support him as my president. i pray for him and his new cabinet. however, i think that it’s funny how people like you and all the other sheeples in this country take it so personally when someone says anything remotely bad about our new Jesus II.

    Comment by Joshua | January 6, 2009

  19. Paula, Obama could very well be the “Saul” that the USA has asked for. Remember, it was the nation of Israel that said “Give us a king” and so G-d gave them Saul after the nation had rejected G-d himself as King. He turned out to be such a flop. Saul was never chosen by G-d but by man. And Israel reapt the consequences of their choice. Notice, the people never chose David. G-d raised him up as a warrior and after a number of years of proven service and devotion to G-d he was anointed King. David was a man after G-d’s own heart. Saul only got the position because the people thought he looked good and spoke well.

Be careful what you wish for. You may have heard a voice that Obama would be President. I would never doubt you on that. But did that same voice that it would be a good thing for the USA? or did the voice say it would be judgment on the USA because the nation has rejected G-d and leant unto its own understanding? Believers must never make this mistake. The consequences are so dire…but maybe after this many in the US will repent…

  21. Paula and Anna – you seem more interested in a mutual admiration society – people who had as I pointed out LEGITIMATE questions were accused of racism for even asking them … doesn’t seem Christ’s way to me …He welcomes questions and encourages them- not in casting aspersions on others … I am tired of the mentality exhibited both by extremists on either side, and by Christians who are quick to point the finger at others they disagree with (having been in those shoes, having been accused of being possessed of a demon of criticism because I questioned whether certain gifts in a service were being done decently and in order as the Word of God says – and that was when I was a new Christisan 37 yr ago!) – sure I spent many years in and out of wildernesses of my own folly and making, because I let the way too many Christians behave towards others, talk about others, backbite against others, act like they’re smarter and better than others, TURN ME OFF. I thank God that He had patience and grace with me thru all those times in the spiritual desert.I guess that’s why I try not to put too much stock in MAN, or any leader, teacher, politician, king, bishop, whatever. We were told not to call any man Father for our true Father is in heaven, not to call any man Reverend because only God is to be revered and worshipped, and we were told we would have no need that any man should teach us because the Holy Spirit was sent to lead us into all truth. Not John McCain, not Obama, not Ron Paul, not Tony Blair, not Gord Brown, not Stephen Harper… THE HOLY SPIRIT.

As you are not particularly religious as you say, KingDavid was a murderer.

Kin. I didn’t hear a voice, I just KNEW that I KNEW, just like I knew the economic collapse was coming about 1 1/2 yrs ago. No actual voice, but as these things happened I knew it had been God, there is a lot of other stuff also that has happened and in detail, so I can only assume it was Him….however, I did feel it was for good.

And Paul my backgroud would be very identical to yours, except the false apostles and false prophets, and I am sick of them attacking me, and I am sick of hearing Fox news saying how fair and balanced they are.
All the rest the three of you have said I am more than fully aware of.
However Paul… it is time people realised that every country ALWAYS has to have a LEADER. Just like a family should have a FATHER, now as I worked for YEARS going into homes like the supernanny and correcting things out of order to bring forth the true, I can tell you I knew who the good fathers were that required Justice for all, and had hearts like David….and God was working on ALL their hearts….But he had put them there, they had given birth to their children, they were responsible.
And yes, their children did call them father., and mostly those men did provide for their children.
They did not sit back and say.
Oh…this is NOT my father, I will wait for God to provide my food, and a roof over my head, and my education. etc etc

I also emailed him about the economic crisis, starting
1 1/2 yrs ago and told him it would be HUGE, HUGE, HUGE, and MANY.MANY.MANY would be effected.
I told him how John Key would be elected Prime Minister of New Zealand, and how he would work with Maori, and across the board like Obama has done.

I now live in the US. This nation was founded by Puritan missionaries. This nation has a contract with G-d Almighty, the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and jacob, the G-d of Israel – not just any god as some would like to make people believe. This nation was dedicated to the one True G-d at her founding. America has been blessed because of this contract. Not everything that America has done is correct however, she has been blessed. But America has now entered into a time of judgment, contrary to what many false prophets out there are preaching.

I will share with you what the L-rd has been showing me for the last 7 years. America will be judged for the following:

    1. Legislation of the murder of 50 million innocent babies. Their blood cries out and G-d will respond.
    2. Idolatry/false worship – rampant in the US. While we have become a diverse society, we have opened the door false religions within our borders.
    3. Persecution of devout Jews/Christians by forcing us to accept or adhere to lifestyles contrary to the Word of G-d
    4. High level of violent crime
    5. Sexual immorality (all forms including immoral acts committed personally or viewed as entertainment
    6. Forcing Israel to give up her land for so-called peace to appease Israel’s enemies (by the way, Israel’s enemies are also G-d’s enemies). The land belongs to G-d and it is His will that Jacob’s descendants dwell there. It’s His promise to them.
    7. Theft/Fraud – this includes usury and other deceptive practices committed by our businesses, financial institutions and government (unjust taxes and wasteful spending)
    8. Unjust weights and measures
    9. Lack of personal responsibility – blame someone else for my wrongdoing
    10. Removal of G-d from every aspect of life in America through legislation and personal choice.
    11. Corruption of leadership, both secular and spiritual
    12. Hero/Celebrity worship, instead of looking to and trusting G-d.

  26. America needs to repent of her ways. We need to look to G-d for guidance when electing our leaders since we have a democratic system. America has just elected a leader who will continue to facilitate most of the aforementioned items that G-d is displeased with. When you see what happens here in the US, be thankful that you live in New Zealand. I believe that the judgment will cause many in the US to repent and return to G-d. After this He will heal our land…America has had ample time to repent…but like Israel we are a stiffnecked people…

  29. Paula’s comment (”I also knw Barack would work across the board, and bring the best of each to work together for the whole.”) is wishful thinking at best, and what’s it matter what you think anyway? or I think? or Kin? in the end it’s only what God thinks and approves that matters.
I was amused in a way with your rant about countries and leaders and fathers. Being a father entrusted with 5 lives, all with their unique challenges and personalities to guide and nurture, I have learned a lot with God’s help, about fathering and its attendant responsibilities. It was a bit presumptuous of you to assume that I was naive enough to think that countries and families don’t need leaders or fathers. I have no intention of getting into long and unprofitable discussion about my spiritual life or anyone else’s (if I dared to presume I knew anyone else’s on this blog well, just by reading posts).
I think like Peter said, “and now it is time for judgment to begin at the house of God, and if the righteous scarcely be saved what then of the unrighteous?”. God is consistent as in 2 Chron 7:14, He says, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. “. I followed a previous post’s link to the youtube vids of Carter Conlon, on the subject of “Reprobates and Nations Trembling”. I watched all 4 parts and felt the presence of God speaking thru that man, in a way I haven’t heard in quite some time in any church I have attended.I am glad there are those left who speak boldly in truth, out of love, hard things the Body of Christ needs to hear.

I would go a little light on the Christ-like issue, you may find yourself geting into a little idol worship.
You equally have a choice to walk the path you are prepared to pay the price for. Your choice.

No, I didn’t answer your other ’statements’ as they have been thrashed over and over, and I find MANY Christians repeat over and over what they hear on Fox news, or blogs, and never really spend hours seeking the truth of the matter.

  33. Kin,

    You posted the following comment:

“I will share with you what the L-rd has been showing me for the last 7 years. America will be judged for the following.”

Then you proceeded to give a long list of the things you feel God is suddenly angry at the nation for. Guessing from your writing, you are one of those individuals who hold the naïve, mythical, and romantic notion that America was founded on “Christian” principles and once existed as a theocratic utopia of freedom, liberty, and justice for all. You believe the “Founding Fathers” were all devout and saintly Christians who established the Republic on the rock solid teachings of the Bible.

I hate to break it to you, but the founding of our nation is a lot less utopian and Christian than your self-willed delusion would suggest. Some of the so-called founding fathers can be described as Christians; however, many were not Christians at all but were either Freemasons or Deist. This is a fact. Additionally, it is no mystery how European settlers established their claim to what we now call the United States. The establishment of that claim was secured by ways that cannot exactly be described as Christ-like.
Unless God is blind, He has many reasons to be angry with America that have taken place from its foundation up until present day. I wonder if in the past 7 years the Lord has been “showing” you things He wants to “judge” America for, He has also opened your eyes to any of the following atrocities America is guilty of:

    1. Legislation of the ethnic cleansing/genocide, theft, rape, mass murder, violence, torture, fraud, broken treaties, forced servitude, internment, denial of justice, and the many other human rights violations committed against millions of Native Americans

    2. Legislation of the forced slavery, theft, rape, mass murder, torture, violence, fraud, false imprisonment, apartheid, denial of justice, denial of civil rights, and the many other human rights violations of millions of African Americans.

    3. Legislation of the past and present exploitation of foreign labor and significant human rights violations in various parts of the world on behalf of furthering the U.S. government’s interests and securing competitive advantage for U.S. corporate enterprise

    4. Legislation of the vicious and bloody Vietnam war, which resulted in the deaths of approximately 1 million Vietnamese combatants and 4 million Vietnamese civilians

    5. Legislation of an unprovoked declaration of war on Iraq, which has resulted in the documented deaths of approximately 100,000 innocent Iraqi civilian lives

The above list is by no means exhaustive. I only chose to name a few of the atrocities committed under the sanction of the U.S. government.

You mentioned 50 million abortions in your list. Let’s take only the issue of African slavery I listed and see how it compares. David Livingstone estimated that for every slave who reached the plantation, five others died by being killed in the raid of capture or died on the forced march and shipment from illness and privation. So, for 25 million slaves delivered to the market, we have the collateral death of approximately 120 million human beings. Over the past 230 years 120 million Africans have been killed, 15 million Native Americans have been killed, 5 million Vietnamese have been killed, etc, etc, and the deaths and human rights violations of countless millions have been perpetrated by a “Christian” America. Somehow, in your opinion God is just now starting to take notice, and only since about Roe vs. Wade.

Kin. Here is my guess. Given the glaring omissions in the list you provided of God’s reason for “judging” America, given that you have ignored 200 years of our nation’s history/crimes, and given that the events you listed happened in your lifetime, I will venture to guess that God is not speaking to you at all. Your list, is your list. Not God’s list. It is your opinion based on your beliefs of what you think God should be mad about. Events you have observed in your lifetime that are upsetting to you, and you are ascribing them to God. Nothing more, nothing less.

  34. Joshua,
To say that Obama “likes murdering babies” is irresponsible and grossly inaccurate. It’s also a lie. Obama is for the decriminalization of abortion, but he is not for abortion itself. Obama is for upholding Roe vs. Wade, which will not criminalize a woman who has an abortion preformed or the licensed physician who performs the abortion. He is personally for the exact opposite of abortion. He advocates the individual responsibility of parents to teach children about the sanctity of sexuality and marriage, abstinence education, comprehensive sexual education aimed at reducing teen pregnancy, and alternatives to abortion such as adoption. Here is Obama’s position in his own words:
    “No one is for abortion.”
“We’ve actually made progress over the last several years in reducing teen pregnancies, for example. And what I have consistently talked about is to take a comprehensive approach where we focus on abstinence, where we are teaching the sacredness of sexuality to our children. But we also recognize the importance of good medical care for women, that we’re also recognizing the importance of age-appropriate education to reduce risks. I do believe that contraception has to be part of that education process. And if we do those things, then I think that we can reduce abortions and I think we should make sure that adoption is an option for people out there. If we put all of those things in place, then I think we will take some of the edge off the debate. We’re not going to completely resolve it. At some point, there may just be an irreconcilable difference. And those who are opposed to abortion, I think, should continue to be able to lawfully object and try to change the laws.” –Barack Obama
These are Obama’s own words, so let’s stop trying to distort the truth.
Here is the reality of the abortion issue. The U.S. government does not force any individual to have an abortion. The U.S. government does not make the decision for anyone. Abortion is a personal decision, made by an individual at a point in time. Essentially, what Roe v. Wade did, was make it so women receiving and physicians performing abortions would not be prosecuted for committing a crime. Women were having abortions performed in secret well before Roe v. Wade, the passing of the law only decriminalized it. I won’t spout my personal beliefs on abortion, but I will say this: I think if God were going to “judge” anyone on the issue of abortion, it would be the individuals who have personally made the choice to have or perform one, the principals in the act. Not the nation as a whole.
I know my words are probably falling on deaf ears here. Evangelicals are notorious for having selective hearing and many believe Obama is the Anti-Christ himself, or a close second. Evangelicals are also notorious for blatant hypocrisy. Case in point: the Reverend Wright issue mentioned by someone in this post. Wright grew up in the times of government sanctioned apartheid, i.e. Jim Crow laws in the south. Wright being a Marine who served his country, when traveling in the south had to give his bus seat up to whites, use the back door at restaurants or be refused service, and receive second class citizen treatment at every turn. He personally felt the sting of racism, witnessing government sanctioned segregation in his life and in a sermon compared the U.S. government to the KKK who advocated segregation. His pointing out the reality that the U.S. government was like the KKK for advocating segregation is somehow is seen as him spouting racism. Interesting.
Rev. Wright also said “God damn America,” in one of his sermons, calling for God’s judgment on the U.S. for the crimes and human rights violations he feels the government sanctioned against its African American citizens. I see this as being no different than the throng of Evangelicals like Dutch Sheets and Kin in this post, calling down God’s “judgment” on America for the issues they view as being worthy of judgment as abortion, gay marriage, and removing prayer from schools. The same Evangelicals who see God’s heavy hand coming to the nation at every turn, vehemently criticize Rev. Wright for voicing his own personal view of what he feels warrants God’s judgment. The clear hypocrisy here is absurd, laughable, and pathetic.

You would understand if I said I could almost kiss the ground you walk on.
Wherever you came from, I’m just glad you came, just in time.
You could have also debunked the lie, Barack is for ‘gay marriage’

I also agree with what Nickauess said to you, I am sorry I could NEVER have done justice to your comments like he has.

When I said I understood where you were coming from, was in no-way agreeing, I just didn’t want to get into it with you.
I am at the end of MONTHS of debunking lies, and really I have had enough.
You would do well to head the words of Nichauess.

    Comment by Paula | January 7, 2009

  37. Nickauess,

Thank you for your comment. I think that you made a lot of sense and are much more succinct than Paula will ever hope to be. I also think that my comment about Obama liking to murder babies is inaccurate. Obviously he does not personally perform abortions. I actually agree with a lot of what you say, however, I really don’t like the thought of abortion, and find it hard to consider someone who supports a women’s choice 100% over and above a babies right to life a man after God’s own heart, as Paula claimed Barack is. I’m not even upset that Obama is the US President. John McCain and Sarah Palin would have been just as horrid of a choice. I’m just sick and tired of people acting like Obama is going to save the world – because he’s not gonna.

As far as Wright – I feel bad for him that he went through all that he did, but hurt people tend to hurt other people. He obviously hasn’t forgiven and would do well to see a trained psychologist. I love my country regardless of the wrong turns it sometimes makes and would never want to see God’s judgment on her and I think that people who believe we America should be subject to God’s wrath because of abortion or segreation is a loon.

And Paula, I never claimed to have no religion. I said I’m not particularly religious… although I am a Christian. Albeit, not the best one in the world, as I’m sure I’ve showed off quite well. I apologize for saying hateful things. I think it’s quite obvious that we disagree on a few things, however, I doubt that Christ would have acted as I have. I’m sure we both agree on more than we disagree.

    Comment by Joshua | January 7, 2009

  38. Paula (in addition to comments above),

Also, at least Obama is a Christian. As far as I know, John McCain never claimed to be, and really didn’t talk about God, if ever. Obviously Sarah Palin was, but she seems crazy. I honestly didn’t intend to become so volatile. I think that Independants, or quasi-independants like Ron Paul would be best for America. My view is that all politicians, including Obama, are horrendously dirty and driven by power and money and could care less about actual people.

As I said before, I don’t like Obama… But I didn’t like John McCain, either. And I was didn’t like Sarah Palin. My only hope is that someday we’ll all see the light and not have a two party government with such a chasm of ideals between the two.

  40. Nickaeuss,

This is not G-d suddenly angry, he’s been angry for a very long time and no He hasn’t ignored the history of the last 200 – 400 years. Those who committed those crimes have already received their judgment for their crimes when they died. The change is that we are now at the end of our rope…these are the last of the last days. We have had ample time as a nation to repent of all sin and injustice being committed now. I can only share with you what G-d has shared with me. I never made the claim that this was everything. This was all He showed me…and that is all I can reiterate…you can receive it or not. I will not argue with you…as these things will become more obvious to everyone within the next few years…

    Comment by Kin | January 7, 2009

  41. Kin,

You made the following statement regarding judgement:

“This is not G-d suddenly angry, he’s been angry for a very long time and no He hasn’t ignored the history of the last 200 – 400 years. Those who committed those crimes have already received their judgment for their crimes when they died. The change is that we are now at the end of our rope…these are the last of the last days.”

I see, so in the past God judged people on an individual basis no matter how henious the crime, but now because we are in the “last of the last days,” there is no more individual responsibility. God will be visiting harm and judgement on everyone, for everyone elses sins. Does this logic really make sense to you?

Here is the good news Kin. According to the Hebrew calendar the year is 5769. That is 231 years before the year 6000, the dawning of the 7th mellinium. What this means is we may be further from the “last of the last days” then you assume, by around 200 years. Of course no one will know the exact time and hour, but hopefully this information will give you a bit more perspective.

The trouble is, when God starts “sharing” things with a person, that person can never be wrong. God is never wrong, therefore the information you receive cannot be wrong, therefore you personally cannot be wrong. No matter how compelling the evidence or information presented, the person will always automatically throw it out because “God told” them or “God said…” I like to call this the “God told me” syndrome, which causes spiritual people to disregard all reason and logic because they feel God shared some secret information with them.

I’ll give you a great example. Before the recent Predsidential election many “prophets” and “prophetic” voices were predicting God would cause McCain and Palin to win. Many Christians also felt strongly that God was on the side of the McCain/Palin ticket and November 4th would prove it. When Obama won by nearly 8 million votes and a landslide of the Electoral College many Evangelicals were surprised, dumbfounded, and in complete shock. Even prominent Evangelicals such as Dutch Sheets flatly stated: “this is not God’s will.”

That is not then end of the story. Evangelicals were probably one of the only groups in America that showed such surprise at the outcome. With simple opinion polling, mathematics, and statistics just about every commentator predicted Obama would win decidedly. With simple math they predicted the race would not even be close. But many Evangelicals were suffering from the “God told me” syndrome, disregarding experts, the polls, math, and statistics. Disregarding all evidance that McCain would not win, the last argument many clung to was “well God told me.” Even after the Obama win, the “God told me” syndrome continued to kick in as many claimed “this isn’t God’s will,” “God will reverse the election,” “Obama is a king Saul,” etc.

My humble advice is when you feel God is sharing something with you, please keep an open mind with the information. Be willing to be flexible with the information. Being flexible doesn’t show a lack of faith or commitment. It shows you are a rational human being.

  43. I can’t beleive this Paula character and Nickeuss?…. You haters need to get a life. We are not under the Roman Empire and need to pray for our dictators as though it ever changed them anyhow but rather pray because it keeps us in the Love of God and that we might have a peacable life.
I live in America and I pray that Oboma will become an object lesson like Pharoah whom God raised up to bring down because of his pride. Oboma is no different than Nero or Pharoah except that Oboma could lie his way into this election through the ever gowing list of victims and America haters.
Any one so racist as to think that Sarah Palin had anything to do with the extremist in her audience could only hate white people and I am sure Paula and Nick… do hate white people. You guys need to come out of the ghetto and get a breath of fresh air.
You obviously feel that Oboma is Gods vindication of the black race when really it is a manifestation of how crooked the democrats really are. Oboma probably sent the extremist to Palins audience to make a sucker out of you America- haters understanding full well the secret hatred of the black race against whites and your longing for revenge.
Our forefathers were godly men who in their time were ahead of the tribal chiefs running through the jungles of Africa or hunting buffalo in the plains. Wonder what your forefathers were doing in the 1700s? Wasn’t it our terible forefathers who eventually helped africa to any thing good that has ever happened there?
Perhaps your black Muslim brothers who also hate America would have treated you better.

No matter what white America has done to correct its sins, because of the genius of the forefathers documents, it is not enough for those who perpetually thrive on victimization. It is the American Indians who were most mistreated but then again, they were mostly idolators too like the inhabitants of Africa.

Shame on you guys who think Nick.. is some kind of honest jusge because he hates America. I hear they are accepting immigrants in Mexico if you guys want to try another system of Government. At least we admit our mistakes in America but Oboma can’t make a mistake because he repesents the vidication of the black race. And you guys could no possibly learn anything from this website because of your victim mentalilty. Perhap there is a webite for victims you could check out and maybe they offer pasports to Saudi Arbia. They have Muslims like Barack there who would be glad to lead you

  46. I agree with Golda that Paula and Nick need to get a life. I’m sad to see that so many people are enamoured by Nick’s reasons as to why Rev. Wright is not a racist… simply because he was subjected to racism. Wow, obviously he CAN’T be a racist. Please… just because somone was subjected to racisism doesn’t mean that they can’t be racist right back. To think otherwise is laughable and a pathetic stab at logic. In addition, no one’s answered why Barack could consider this guy his mentor for 20 years and be oblivious to his whole white-hating mindset. Most likely because Barack’s a liar. If Rev. Wright was so squeaky clean, why did Obama drop him like a rotting snake and remove himself from Rev Wright the minute the Youtube videos surfaced? Calling the government the KKK and asserting that America should be brought under judgment because of past mistakes is racist… not to mention just plain crazy. The guy’s a nut-job.

    Comment by TD | January 8, 2009

  47. Derrell,

I am actually Jewish. When my forefathers were writing the Torah or “Bible” you Evangelicals hold so dear yet have severely distorted, Europeans were still painting themselves blue and eating bushes.

Also, I do not believe Rev. Wright hates whites. He never stated he hated whites. The U.S. government at one time legislatively enacted apartheid-like Jim Crow laws in the south that discriminated against blacks in favor of whites, much like the Ku Klux Klan’s ideology. Rev. Wright compared American government to the KKK for enacting those prejudicial laws. This is not racist or white hating on the part of Rev. Wright to point out a fact. It is a fact that the U.S. government imposed laws of discrimination. You may not like how he said it, but it is not a racist statement and I challenge anyone here to set out a coherent logical argument showing how Rev. Wright’s statement is racist. American law at the time had a KKK philosophy. Explain to us clearly how this statement shows he hates whites.

The fact is America’s Jim Crow laws were racist. Legislative segregation and discrimination were racist. Not the other way around.

And Derrell, it’s “Obama” not “Oboma.”

    Comment by Nickauess | January 9, 2009

  48. Continued…

Let’s please put our thinking caps on. I remember when Bill Clinton won the Presidency. I heard the EXACT same things that are being said about Obama now: Bill Clinton is the Anti-Christ, Bill’s part of the Illuminati, Bill’s a puppet of the New World Order, Bill’s in league with the prince of darkness, Bill’s the Saul the people chose over God (i.e. the Republican candidate), Bill’s lying about being a Christian. EXACT same stuff. EXACT same “prophecies” from Charismatic “prophets” saying God would send judgment to America for electing Bill Clinton. EXACT same fear from Evangelicals that Clinton had some sinister hidden agenda to bring down America.

The truth is Clinton was a mixed bag. He had some moral issues, but governed the country well. As the saying goes of those who hated Clinton so much: “what did you dislike most about the Clinton years, was it the peace or the prosperity?”

Then comes George w. Bush, the “born-again” man of God. Or as the “prophets” liked to call him the “Burning Bush.” The fiscal and social conservative who would overturn Roe v. Wade, restore justice to the land, and rid us of the deficit. HAHAHAHA! He spent like drunken sailor, suspended civil liberties, erased 20 years of wealth, and almost ran the country into the ground. So much for voting in “God’s man.”

Evangelicals will continue to say the same things about Obama as they did about Clinton, and he will probably turn out to be a fine President, as did Clinton. We’ve seen it all before folks. Think for yourselves!

    And finally Derrill…

For thousands of years, Jews had a more advanced society than Europeans. Remember, it was Jewish men like Saul/Paul of Tarsus that first told idol worshipping Europeans that there was one true God. It was Jewish men that shared the Ten Commandments with the tribal factions of Europe. In our various exiles, though we were more advanced than Europeans and in many cases rose to the highest echelons of European society we did not attempt to enslave or murder Europeans. In fact, we were kicked out of Spain and Portugal, and persecuted and murdered in Poland, Austria, Russia, Ukraine, Germany, and all over Europe. Generation after generation, we suffered much the same fate as the Africans and Native Americans, whom you call “idol worshippers,” at the hands of the “civilized” barbarians of European history.

Derrill, I think you need to search deep in your heart to try to understand where your hatred and vitriol comes from. I will say a prayer for you.

  52. Meeting of closed minds I’m afraid. The problem with Vince’s comments is that it appears to imply God was/is an alien life form which is not what i thought you religious types regarded as a decritpion of God.

On the matter of the science – its not the evolutionary life science stufff that, in my view, causes the problems for creationism – its the Physics and the Geology. However, I could accept that God created the world and universe in such a complicated fashion in order to keep us all amused by trying to find out stuff. He/she/it is just sitting there having a blast watching us unravel all of these complex puzzles. Oh – now they got to black holes – now they have concluded the universe is >1 billion years old; oh they’ve got some really old rocks which in their models could only be sequenced that way if they were 50 million years old.

If this is the case why bother to believe in God – why not get on and enjoy life.

  54. Guisler and Turek’s “logic” is a veritable testimony to the power of rhetoric over inductive reasoning. They rely heavily, for instance, on countless false dichotomies, refusing at all times to see the world as anything other than a series of true or false statements; everything that is not black must be white, or vice versa. There is no room in their universe for the beauty of paradox and the lessons to be learned there from. They demonstrate a stunning ignorance of the nature of mathematics, especially the mathematics of infinity, and are clearly unaware of the incompleteness theorems of Kurt Gödel and their implications.

  56. Blob actually. I am not trying to show how intellectual I am. Nor would I expect my maker to judge me on my intellectual capabilites. If I am to be judged and all of my assumptions about God are wrong and he does exist then I am happy to be judged on the life I have led. If he judges me on whether I have believed in him rather than whether I have been a good person that will be up to him. What I am unable to do is believe in God.

Google my Blog and go to the debate I am publicly having with myself about the conditions under which I could belive in God.

It is your choice whether you believe or not, and if you don’t it just doesn’t change the fact that He is and He will not change. It’s not an accident that you’re on this site, you know. 19 January 2009 — gnomestrath | Edit
Magnificent article in the Secular Right also quoted by Andrew Sullivan. The quote below gets to the heart of it:

Gardner argues that were God to start preventing some deadly accidents, he would have to prevent all such accidents, resulting in chaos. The reality is far worse than that. Since believers give credit to God for answering their prayers when they are saved from catastrophe or illness, they have to explain why he answered their prayers and not those other people’s prayers, why he saved these children from a tsunami and not those other children. Any believer who today thanks God for making sure that his coronary bypass operation was successful has to explain why God allowed at least 37 peasants to be buried in a Guatemalan landslide on Sunday. Such an explanation requires either extraordinary narcissism on the believer’s part or positing capricious injustice on the part of God.

In a sign Sarah Palin wants to continue to be a player on the national political stage, the Alaska Governor has started a new political action committee to raise funds, SarahPAC.

The PAC is registered in Virginia and is modeled after HillPAC, Hillary Clinton’s former political committee. Palin’s committee allows her to raise money for other Republicans.

According to the Web site, the committee will also support Palin’s “plans to build a better, stronger, and safer America in the 21st century.”

  65. Gnomestrath, Where do right, wrong, moral or immoral thoughts and or ideas come from? The Blob?

    Comment by Vince | January 29, 2009

  66. Yes they do through the original pre life space time events through to the evolution of life creating eventually the sentiency we have today. With that sentiency comes thinking. Then development of value systems, competition and testing which create the current moral systems which have emerged today. Right, wrong moral and immoral are all philosophical concepts established as a result of this.

There are some legacy issues – the Church has just (1962)apologised for burning people at the stake because they claimed the earth went round the sun. At some point in the future other apologies will have to be given for the intolerance of views expressed towards evolution etc. Religion can find a home in those who have some developed some belief system as the basis of their moral value set. Other value sets have and will evolve independently of a belief in deities.

Religion will eventually evolve away from its current forms because the increasing education of the population will make societies more secular. Reliogion will adapt as it always does

  67. To go back to the question GOD OR BLOB? And you said blob, well, that answer in itself says a mouthful. You are going to run smack dab into the tribulation, and be faced with all the prophecies written about it. Your intellect has clouded your thinking, your pride is a stumbling block to seeing the truth. For just one example(OF WHICH THERE ARE MANY) lets look at something written 2000 years ago, Rev.13:17-18. Now in light of that could you please give me an explanation to the fact that 95 percent of the products we buy today have on the barcode 666? Is this coincidence? Is it a coincidence that the money is failing and the leaders of the world are talking daily about GLOBAL solutions to this dilemma? Is it coincidence that there are currently electronic chips on the market that can perfectly fit what this scripture is saying? Or could it be a grand conspiracy in which the leaders of the world are “EVOLVING” backwards towards believing the bible and CAUSING it to come to pass? In either case your “THEORIES” are completely wrong. Speaking of THEORIES, your THEORY of evolution is destroyed not only by the LAW OF DETERIORATION, but also that there is not one shred of EVIDENCE to support your THEORY. This is what GOD meant by MANS WISDOM IS FOOLISHNESS BEFORE HIM. That is why he can use someone like me with a 10th grade education to shoot holes in this ridiculous DELUSION! GOD uses the foolish to confound the wise. I dont have to prove that there is a GOD, YOU HAVE TO PROVE THAT THERE IS NOT ONE! Without GOD and His SON JESUS life is completely meaningless and worth NOTHING! The small amount of time we are here is as a drop of oil in a supertanker in light of eternity. The QUESTION IS WHERE WILL YOU AND I SPEND IT? Please take your time and think about the things discussed here and see if there have been any holes punched in your theories, and then remember that it had to be GOD doing it because this feeble 10th grader doesnt have the capacity without HIM!!! Comment by gnomestrath | January 31, 2009

  71. I assume you have a bible, so read the above scripture and then look at what was written, then look at the things I wrote, proof that there is an all knowing being who created the universe. You speak of a theory that is just that THEORY! The burden of proof is on you. The law of deterioration proves that anything left alone without intervention by an intelligent being will DETERIORATE. This in itself disproves evolution. Have you ever witnessed an explosion? The only thing it creates is a mess! It would be like going to the junkyard and setting off a huge explosion and expecting to have a 1975 cadilac sitting right before your eyes, not gonna happen. You are saying that there is no GOD and Im telling you there is. The one example I gave in the first comment is much more proof of a GOD than anything you have said to the contrary. You say the disconnect between us is too wide to be bridged, simply because you cannot explain away what I have said, and you cant prove your theory. Where is one and I mean just one piece of evidence to support your theory? Once again the burden of proof lies on you. As of yet I have seen NONE. GOD BLESS!!!

    Comment by Vince | January 31, 2009

  72. Vince you misunderstand the nature of the word proof. Rev 13 includes a number 666 – so what – see below? 95% of all barcodes do not have the number 666 in them. Actually the number is 616.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Number_of_the_Beast

The Number of the Beast is described in the Book of Revelation 13:17-18. The original Greek reads:

    The King James translates:[5]

And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

In the Greek manuscripts, the Number is rendered in Greek numerical form as χξϛʹ,[6] or sometimes literally as ἑξακόσιοι ἑξήκοντα ἕξ, hexakósioi hexēkonta héx, “six hundred and sixty-six”.[7][8]

Scholars have speculated that the reference to this passage was a way of speaking in code about then contemporary figures about whom it would have been politically dangerous to criticize openly.
    [edit] 616
The early Church father Irenaeus knew several occurrences of the 616-variant but regarded them as a scribal error and affirmed that the number 666 stood “in all the most approved and ancient copies” and is attested by “those men who saw John face to face”.[12]

Red arrow points to χιϛʹ (616) in P115 deciphered in May 2005.In May 2005, it was reported that scholars at Oxford University using advanced imaging techniques[13] had been able to read previously illegible portions of the earliest known record of the Book of Revelation(a 1,700 year old papyrus), from the Oxyrhynchus site, Papyrus 115 or P115, dating one century after Irenaeus. The fragment gives the Number of the Beast as 616 (chi, iota, stigma), rather than the majority text 666 (chi, xi, stigma).[1] The other early witness Codex Ephraemi Rescriptus (C) has it written in full: hexakosiai deka hex (lit. six hundred sixteen).[14]

Significantly, P115 aligns with Codex Alexandrinus (A) and Codex Ephraemi Rescriptus (C) which are generally regarded as providing the best testimony to Revelation. Thus, P115 has superior testimony to that of P47 which aligns with Codex Sinaiticus and together form the second-best witness to the Book of Revelation. This has led some scholars to conclude that 616 is the original number of the beast.[15][16]

Dr. Paul Lewes in his book, A Key to Christian Origins (1932) wrote:

“The figure 616 is given in one of the two best manuscripts, C (Codex Ephraemi Rescriptus, Paris), by the Latin version of Tyconius (DCXVI, ed. Souter in the Journal of Theology, SE, April 1913), and by an ancient Armenian version (ed. Conybaere, 1907). Irenaeus knew about it [the 616 reading], but did not adopt it (Haer. v.30,3), Jerome adopted it (De Monogramm., ed. Dom G Morin in the Rev. Benedictine, 1903). It is probably original. The number 666 has been substituted for 616 either by analogy with 888, the [Greek] number of Jesus (Deissmann), or because it is a triangular number, the sum of the first 36 numbers (1+2+3+4+5+6…+36 = 666)”.[17]

Professor David Parker, Professor of New Testament Textual Criticism and Paleography at the University of Birmingham, thinks that 616, although less memorable than 666, is the original. Dr. Ellen Aitken said: “Scholars have argued for a long time over this, and it now seems that 616 was the original number of the beast. It’s probably about 100 years before any other version.”[18]

616 also coincides with an alternative spelling of Nero

The bible is a political document of the time it was written. The content of the bible does not represent proof of anything.

  73. I can come up with a whole pile of mumbo jumbo to back up any delusion I want which is just what youve done. Go to the cabinet, get out the corn flakes, or the bag of flower, or sugar, or to the bathroom and get out the white cloud, and look at the barcode. There are 2 skinny lines at the beginning, 2 in the middle, and 2 at the end, which for some reason dont have numbers below them, WHY? Well Im glad you asked, because the number is a 6, and it would be too apperant as to what the meaning of this would be. You see satan is a deceiver, and his intention is not to boldly come out and say what his plan is, yet GOD in his love and concern for man has always provided a way for those who want to know him and see HIS truth. If however you choose to be deceived He will allow that too. Beyond all this it serves little or no purpose to go back and forth. I have still seen no proof of your theory, or maybe you would prefer the word evidence. The missing link that has been searched for for a century now that has never been found and will never be found. If evolution were true there should be countless such findings yet, 0. This is the one thing I can tell you that you will not know unless you throw your pride to the side and ask GOD to forgive you for your sin, and that is a changed heart that after having done that sees how pitiful we are without our creator, and savior. Then you go and read the bible and it comes alive because it is the WORD OF GOD ALMIGHTY living and powerful. I have seen too many people changed in their lives from having the look of death on their face to having the look of peace joy and everlasting life, these are true miracles!! Nothing compares to a life changed by our CREATOR, it is plain and obvious to see for those who are looking. You know it is still easy to get caught up in the moment and sin, such as I have shown here as I have had pride in some of my statements, and I apoligize for that. The bible says that GOD is no respecter of persons, you have a spot at the foot of the cross just as I do. Remember this, my favorite scripture in the whole bible,(AND IM PARAPHRASING) “The Pharisee prayed and said I thank You Father that I obey the commandments and that I am not like this wicked tax collector, then THE TAX COLLECTOR NOT EVEN LOOKING UP TO HEAVEN, BEAT HIS CHEST AND SAID, OH LORD FORGIVE ME THE ESPECIALLY WICKED SINNER THAT I AM!!! JESUS SAID THIS MAN WENT HOME JUSTIFIED! This is what all life is about, being reconciled to our CREATOR! No matter what, GNOMESTRATH you will stand before our CREATOR one day and He will say 1 of 2 things, DEPART FROM ME I NEVER KNEW YOU, or WELL DONE MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT ENTER INTO MY KINGDOM!! I pray you see the truth. GOD BLESS!!!

  74. How Sarah Palin is heading to become the first woman nominated for US president and the first female president fulfilling a long awaited prophesy:

    Starting her own PAC
Getting over 70% of Republican support
Keeping her name in the news
    Talking about issues
    Attacking Obama’s socialism
    Embrasing Reagan’s ideals
Stumping in battleground states and the traditionally republican states that McCain lost in 2008 like Florida and Virginia.

  75. Obama is a criminal who wants Christian Americans and people of faith to pay for Abortions with the tax dollars.
If a woman wants to kill her baby she can find the 5,000 dollars herself!

    Comment by Carmelo | February 8, 2009

  76. Actually, abortions are like $250 at planned parenthood, dummy.

Btw, Palin lost by a land slide. As did McCain.

    Palin is a moron.

Socialism is more stable than capitalism and the socialist countries like Iceland are stable with a higher quality of life.

  77. Hi Miriam,

I pray and hope that you are well. I’ve been reading your blog for the past one year and God has used many of the articles here to correct and sharpen me as never before. I thank Him for people like you and others. May the Lord keep you under His wing and clothed in Christ for the pleasure of His heart!

I usually don’t read so much news about politics, I’m no expert (not even an amateur concerning this subject) and I don’t live in US either. Nevertheless my eyes fell on this article and in a split-second remembered your prophecy about Sarah Palin.

Please see below the article from CNN: http://edition.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/07/05/palin.reaction/index.html?eref=rss_topstories

Is this the turnabout you saw?! I thought it was interesting.

    Bless!

    See whole article below:

Astounding. Risky. Quitter. And that’s what fellow conservatives had to say Sunday about Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and her decision to step down with 18 months left in her term.
Democrats left it to Republican and conservative voices to assess what Friday’s unexpected announcement by Palin means for her and a possible run for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination. For example, Vice President Joe Biden called it a personal decision, offering no analysis of why she did it.
By contrast, those on the political right acknowledged that they didn’t know what to make of it.
Karl Rove, the “architect” of George W. Bush’s successful presidential campaigns, said the resignation left many of Palin’s fellow Republicans “a little perplexed.”
“It’s a risky strategy,” Rove told “Fox News Sunday.”
“Astounding,” was the pronouncement by Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa, and conservative columnist George Will said Palin was declaring herself a quitter.
Palin, who was Sen. John McCain’s vice presidential candidate in the 2008 election, said she already knew she would not seek a second term and decided against being a lame duck governor for the next 18 months.
She also complained that too much time and too many taxpayer dollars were going toward fighting ethics investigations and that the mainstream media were continuing with unfair attacks on her and her family.
Some analysts believe that Palin will seek the 2012 Republican presidential nomination and that her resignation is intended to free her to prepare.
Rove, whom Bush dubbed “the Architect” for managing his successful presidential campaigns in 2000 and 2004, said stepping down now won’t lessen the media spotlight on Palin. In fact, he said, leaving the governor’s office takes away her platform for controlling her agenda and message.
“The media, if she wants to run for president, is going to be following her for the next 3½ years,” said Rove, who called the move unclear and therefore a potentially harmful strategy for a politician. “Effective strategies in politics are ones that are so clear and obvious that people can grasp. … It’s not clear what she’s doing and why.”
Grassley told the CBS program “Face the Nation” that he had “no insight into why she did it.”
“I would think, if you want to run for president — and I’m not sure that’s got anything to do with what she’s doing — that the forum of a governorship would be a better forum than just being a private citizen,” the veteran senator said.
Will told the ABC program “This Week” that he had “no idea why she did this.”
“The one that rings most hollow is, she doesn’t want to put Alaska through the terror of [her] being a lame-duck governor,” Will said. “If she is just weary of it, one can understand that. Still, she made a contract with [voters] to serve out her term. And she said, in her own words, she now is a quitter.”
Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska criticized Palin’s decision as abandoning the state’s voters. Palin defeated Murkowski’s father the gubernatorial election in 2006.
But Alaska Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell, also on the Fox program, said Sunday that Murkowski’s statement disappointed him because it failed to recognize all that Palin has accomplished in her 2½ years in office.
“She doesn’t need a title to effect change and bring some hope to people who need it,” said Parnell, a Republican who stands to become governor when Palin steps down this month.
Palin had no public appearances Sunday, but she encouraged her followers via Twitter to ignore the pundits.
“Critics are spinning, so hang in there as they feed false info on the right decision made as I enter last yr in office to not run again,” her Twitter message said.
In an Independence Day message to supporters, Palin said she was leaving office for a “higher calling.”
“How sad that Washington and the media will never understand; it’s about country,” Palin said in a statement attributed to her on her Facebook page. “And though it’s honorable for countless others to leave their positions for a higher calling and without finishing a term, of course we know by now, for some reason a different standard applies for the decisions I make. But every American understands what it takes to make a decision because it’s right for all, including your family.”
Palin said her administration had “accomplished more during this one term than most governors do in two.”
“We have accomplished so much, and there’s much more to do, but my family and I determined after prayerful consideration that sacrificing my title helps Alaska most,” she said. “And once I decided not to run for re-election, my decision was that much easier. I’ve never been one to waste time or resources.”
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who ran unsuccessfully for the Republican presidential nomination in 2008, noted that Palin will remain in the media spotlight regardless of whether she is governor.
“The challenge that she’s going to have is that there will be people who will say, ‘Look, if they chased you out of this, it won’t get any easier at other levels,’ ” Huckabee said. “It could be a brilliant strategy. The point is, we don’t know.”
Huckabee called a presidential campaign “brutal” and said a Republican primary will ratchet up the pressure on Palin.
“When your opponents within your own team spend millions of dollars to redefine you, it’s very, very difficult,” Huckabee said.

  78. I just lost my first post. Sorry. Will start again, just to say an interview between CNN Andersen Cooper and Sarah Palin’s spokesperson revealed a comment made by her to Andersen, (paraphrasing here) – they were discussing why Sarah would want to leave Office, and Meg was explaining it was for better things, that she had received so many invitations from all over for job offers, etc. and that – the world is literally her (Sarah’s) oyster. I recall when Satan brought Jesus to the top of the cliff and showed him the splendours of the world, trying to tempt Jesus to embrace all that power, but Jesus told Satan to get hence from Him. Again, I repeat, this spokeswoman said that the world is literally Sarah Palin’s Oyster. Meaning she can have the world in whichever form she decides to take it…strange words as they clash with the calling of a servant’s heart.

The political world can be a very tempting luring trap, for many politicians and statements like the ones from SP’s spokesperson tells that they aren’t yet aware of the enemy’s golden trap set in waiting for a power-hungry child of God to step in it. Prayer for the nations, the USA and Canada, and all these kind European countries, in fact all nations on earth need divine intervention in opening the eyes of leaders on all fronts. Let them see how Satan is waiting, rubbing his hands, hoping they won’t see through the salve, but they need to before they relegate us all in a new direction that we do not want to go in.

  79. So, here we are…our sister Sarah has turned around–as in the vision you had in January…retreated some say (mostly her attackers) I am wondering how firm you are Miriam, that her lack of glasses signify “unmasking?” What came to me is that she is not seeing properly? (as she wouldn’t without glasses) Not my intention to doubt you, but would like to know how strong it was to you?
