Christian prophecy for the church and for the nations from a servant of God called to speak God's word

The Coming Counterfeit California Revival

Here’s John Crowder now in on it now too:

“The Lord has been speaking to us about California for a long time, but we are seeing such a massive outbreak on the West Coast, we are now feeling a strong confirmation from the Lord to move our families westward and continue experiencing the spirit of revival!”

[Source, John Crowder New Mystic's April 21st emailing]

He’s moving to Santa Cruz, apparently, and starting monthly ‘whack’ meetings. This guy is seriously dangerous. Parents, lock up your sons and daughters where John Crowder is concerned.

“Our New Ecstatics event exploded with the Glory of God in Santa Cruz, California, and God has shifted more than our ministry itineraries … He has redirected our entire lives! We are happy to announce that we are moving to California and will continue the party with monthly meetings in Santa Cruz, as we are seeing a massive, ecstatic revival taking place!”

  1. In other words Crowder is sick and tired of the colder weather so he is moving to California to try and be a somebody. And be able to lounge about in his t-shirts and shorts and buy fast food from In N Out Burgers and claim that life is good.

“The New Ecstatics event in Santa Cruz, California was so crazy, we have decided to MOVE to California and continue to host monthly Glory explosions! The miracles were phenomenal, there were spontaneous outbreaks of the supernatural, healings and salvations on the streets. New-agers, hare krishnas and all manner of unbelievers began walking in off the streets and were getting impacted by the Glory of God. And there were massive, regional signs and wonders that followed the event.

We are truly witnessing a mass movement of ecstatic believers across the body of Christ right now, and the Crowders, along with the Dunn family, have decided to plant our feet right in the buttery bliss of Heaven in Santa Cruz, to keep the party going and enjoy the finished works of Jesus Christ like never before!”

  10. It is simple: New Age Satanism. The satanic have always blasphemed and been driven to besmirch and mock the glorious Name of Jesus..and they will always have their devotees.

Our duty, as all of the holy Apostles and prophets was…is to declare and live the truth in Jesus, and that does include warning. These are adults that we see in these blasphemous videos, though generally young…yet they are adults the same.

We say continually , this is of Satan, and this will place you in everlasting torment if you do not turn away from it, and honor Jesus, the Savior. I for one will do so, as I believe you too, Miriam , will do also.

There is a scripture in Hebrews that fits, which somewhat embodies my attitude…”If anyone draws back into Perdition..[that means Hell..], MY Soul shall have no pleasure in him!”

That means that when you choose to become a servant of the Devil, then you are no longer my brother…but my enemy. Have at it!.. but stay the Hell away from God’s lambs, and expect me to expose you for what and who you are.

Did I forget to add, that Satan loses, along with all of his followers, and are already in the lake of fire in torment…as we speak…in God’s economy. God ..[Jesus] is the first and the last, the beginning and the end! New Jerusalem rejoices even now, as He sits in the end too. The gospel is good news…you do not have to die..but you can live! Receive Jesus and His Holy Spirit and He will live with you , in you forever.

This was Calvary’s message; the “Passion’s” statement. If these new age wicked think they are hurting the Lord, they err. They destroy themselves in their rebellion…and those who desire life, and who are marked for eternal life, will come out from among them. I will cry out , yes!, as is right and appropriate, but in the end, they are serving the Lord’s purposes to identify the wheat, and the tares, the holy and the profane.

Profane is not descriptive enough for these Swine…but remember…they all fled to the sea and drowned themselves when they saw Jesus!…maybe I’ll pray for that…

  12. There was a time when people fell back wards. It was done in a cordially manner. Someone would place a towel if their legs were exposed. This is nothing but an ORGY OF THE FLESH. Were men and women are lying over each other.

I read John Crowder’s testimony on his web site. You can tell he is another one who was never saved, but definitely demon possessed. His wife had Lonnie Freebee lay hands on her at an early age. Her experience at the time was very similar to the Toronto buzz

If anyone does not know who he was! He is the gay hippie preacher whose mantle John Crowder seeks to wear. Lonnie was the original lets get high on Jesus preacher.

This is a wicked new age, demonic, sensual, fleshly, ugly, grotesque, manifestation yet to be seen.

There is probably not enough space on the web surfer, or in the dictionary to fully express just how unbiblical this is… Yuch Yuch yuch!

Does any of this bring glory to God are sinners getting saved? Is there any conviction? No not at all its all fun and games. Its entertainment and hate for the Word of God and His Holiness. IF these people DONT REPENT they will be the ones at God’s Judgement saying Lord Lord didnt we prophesy in your name. And in your name do many miracles, signs and wonders. And Jesus will say depart from me those who don’t do what I say. Its kind of sad to see these people mocking God when Muslims or atheists dont even go that low. Yes they reject Jesus but they dont open the Bible and make fun of God. How could they mock something they dont believe in?

They do not know the consequences of their blasphemy! “Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep. For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged.” I Cor. 11:17-31

I ran across your website over a year ago when I was trying to make sense of what I was witnessing in some people I cared very much about who were and are involved in the NAR and who mentioned John Crowder before I had any idea who he was. To this day their involvement puzzles me. I have stopped trying to understand how they got so sidetracked or to figure out at what point they began to step off the path. I recognize this as a part of the spiritual battle our brother Paul warned us about. It defies human reasoning….at least mine!

  29. Having co-pastored with my husband, it’s clear to me that most folks like this are very hungry to know God. They want to know Him for themselves. Intimately and personally. As wonderful and important as The Book is, they don’t just want to know Him through a book. They believe God wants them to know Him for themselves, using that book as a foundation or plumbline. And that their relationship with God will touch every area of their lives and every one of their relationships. And many of them have been Christians for many, many years. They’re not kids.

What do you suggest to these folk? More Bible studies and sermons? More guilt-inducing witnessing programs? More church activites and do-gooderism? Visits to websites that major on all the “bad stuff” going on in the Christian world out there?

Jesus lived a holy, supernatural life in intimacy with His Father. That’s “all” it seems these folks are looking for. The vast majority of them are far from what anyone could term “evil”. They’re normal people with normal families working normal 9-5 jobs. And I admit that, warts notwithstanding, I have to admire their hunger.

    Comment by ruth | May 3, 2009

  30. Ruth

    >>I have to admire their hunger.

But what they getting fed with? That is the point. What are they swallowing and manifesting? Don’t you think people in cults are sincere and hungry for experience too?

And though they’re taught to think it’s hunger for God they have, it is not – they are being led away from God and it is hunger after sensationalistic experiences, the next ‘thing’.

It’s not about their sincerity. One does not have to be ‘evil’ in the manner you mean it to be seduced by evil.

    Comment by endtimespropheticwords | May 3, 2009

  31. Miriam you are correct about they think they’re chasing after God but rather falling into a trap. These people are chasing after experiences and anything supernatural that comes from “God”. From angel feathers, gold dust and everything else. While I’m not against and I’m sure most christians aren’t against having encounters or experiences with God. When you first experienced salvation you were filled with joy, genuine love, happiness and peace. Or sometimes when a person gets called into the ministry they’ll have an encounter with God that changes their lives. Jonathan Edwards and John Wesley both write in their books they felt power like electricity going through their body. As christians we’re supposed to test the experience and if it lines up with scripture then theirs nothing wrong with it. And even if the experience is scriptural our eyes shouldn’t be placed on experiences but rather God. Not the gifts but the gift-giver. Another thing we must do is test the spirits and the doctrine of what is being preached. In this “ecstatic” group theirs no sin, repentance and salvation being preached. The only thing being preached is miracles, toking the Holy Spirit and “spiritual experiences”. I agree that the Love of God is full of ectasy, bliss and spiritual joy just not in the way these folks try to portray it. They need something to satisfy their itching ears.

  37. Reply to Lawrence:

I am aware of the Greek having studied a full year of it with a scholar who made a deep impact on my life during four years of Bible college. He told his daughter that I was the first woman he had met who had a deep grasp of theology. This was back in the 80’s when there were quite a few men at my conservative school who refused to attend chapel when the speaker was a woman. I checked the Greek, and there are places where “the” is not found in the text (even if it is understood, I would not want to see it inserted where it is not present in the Greek), while in other places it is.

However, I have to admit that the reason I reacted so strongly had nothing to do with the Greek but rather that over the years the Lord has given me several friendships with women who have been involved with Eastern gurus, and the term “the Christ” is VERY significant in conversations with them. No, my concern had nothing to do with which anointing was being manifested. I was concerned about which Christ these individuals are serving.

    Comment by Paula | May 4, 2009

  41. Hey Zeus is spanish for Jesus. As for the annointing there’s a few different terms annointing in the Bible. First, Jesus was annointed to preach the Gospel and heal the sick. In James when their are sick people in the church the elders are supposed to annoint the sick and lay hands on them. And in 1 John 2:27 But the anointing which you have received of him stays in you, and you need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teaches you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it has taught you, you shall abide in him.

Alot of people in the charismatic movement like to chase anointings and let every person with a strange anointing lay hands on them. But the Bible clearly states that the anointing is within us. Its just I guess they have an Old Testament mind set that you have to go to a prophet to hear from God. Or that you will get a double portion Elijah anointing. It’s not that complicated. All the anointing is the ability and the working of the Holy Spirit within the believer. Whether it be gifts of the spirit or an anointed message that breaks the yokes of bondage.

did you ever hear of “loosh”?

    Makes sense.

    http://www.sherryshriner.org/sherry/control.htm
    satanists in the “ministry”.

“To obtain loosh people must be deceived, used, abused, manipulated, and even killed in order to become this energy source which is a food source for Luciferians who feed off of other peoples emotions. It can come from deception or terror and horror or any number of ways and I’m going to try and pinpoint these from what I have learned.

Imagine a church full of people singing and worshipping the Lord, yet unbeknownst to them the pastor of the church is a Satanist. The pastor works the Luciferian system of being loyal to Lucifer and secretly worships Lucifer. This works the best in Pentecostal congregations because pastors can and do use tongue speaking to call on Satan’s presence and Satan’s power to perform miracles and no one else can understand what they are saying. The leader masks it in the form of prayer and the people are deceived by it. In this instance the leader or pastor receives great energy from the church members who are singing praises or worshipping the Lord because as the leader of the church he arrogantly accepts and receives that worship to himself and for Lucifer. He stands in front of them all and accepts their worship as being to him and Lucifer.”

  43. Lone,

I don’t know if this is confirmation or coincidence:

I had a dream a few nights ago (April 25th – May 1st, can’t remember exact day) about a tsunami/tidal wave, I think it was 3 of them.

In the dream, I was on a beach and ahead of me was two large rock formations that were directly across from each other so you could see the ocean through the middle.

There were people up and down the beach.

I saw the first tidal wave approach that crested the rock pillars and took out a number of people right next to the rocks. I then saw a second wave approach and everyone ran to avoid that one and it came very close to me. The third tidal wave that came was as high as the sky. There was no outrunning this wave. I held my breath and waited for it to hit. When the wave consumed everything, I remember telling myself to just open my mouth and get death over with and/or at least attempt to survive by trying to swim to the top. Either way, I was reconciling myself that death was likely, survival next to nill.

I woke up before I could decide on an outcome.
I have no idea if this is significant, but was reminded of it when i saw your comment.

I will also mention another dream I had a while back that had to deal with a tsunami.

Many years ago, I had a dream about a friend who’s house was built on the beach (or built on sand). I went into the house to evacuate her family because I knew something was coming. As soon as we were leaving the house, a tsunami/tidal wave hit. This wave lifted us up and my friend and me rode on top of this wave into a city, what looked like New York city. The interesting thing to note is that I could feel bodies bumping against me as we rode this wave into the city.

The wave flowed in and the water receded. There were bodies everywhere that were left from the flood. The city also looked like it had been burned to a crisp as well before the wave hit. The buildings were blackened and most of them were just steel frames.
Also to note that another danger was not only finding shelter, but that there were vampires roaming around attacking unsuspecting people.

The interesting thing was that I dreamt this dream a few days before the devastating tsunami that happened in Dec 06. So, I don’t know if this is coincidence, I know the specifics about my friend were for the present time, I do not know if the other parts of the dream are for the future events, though the part about New York seems imminent future. The vampire part I think has to do with people that prey on people in desperate times.

Not sure, but I’m putting this out there for everyone to see and discern. Could be nonsense, anxiety or something to take into consideration.

    Thanks

  47. Why do some Christians give credit to Satan being able to do miracles but deny the true power of God? If you believe satan does counterfiet miracles then doesnt that mean that God through His believers does true miracles. Take this for example. If God is no longer performing miracles through his children then why would satan counterfiet them? Doesnt counterfiet mean a false by-product of what actually is being produced. You know like counterfiet money. If there was no such thing as money how could people counterfiet money? So there has to be something of value in order to counterfeit something. Put it this way. Satan is the like the Chinese government. When a country creates something of value (purses, shoes, etc) China is always the first to copy/counterfiet the products. And so it is with satan he counterfiets true miracles of God through human vessels like you and I. Do you think it offends God to say that warlocks, witches, and demonic powers have more power than Him? Because for some reason thats all we talk about is the power of the devil and how decieving he is.

I know. Let me clarify the one dream that mentioned my friend and the burned city was in December 2004, a week or so before the December 26, 2004 Tsunami hit.

I mentioned it because of the tsunami theme and that that was a physical event that happened after the dream. Not to mention that I’m still curious about the burnt city.

That’s why I mentioned the recent 3 tsunami dream because I wanted to put it out there with Lone’s dream. Not sure if it is confirmation of something physical or spiritual or just a wild dream. Sounds like the Jim Jones cult, except they moved their family south and proceeded to kill them.

  57. Servant – only in relation to my previous comment when sometime after you had a dream about a tsunami TB said that lakeland was like a tsunami – yes, that will be right – destroying everything in its path. I guess I just made the link there and thought that your dream could be a warning about future spiritual destruction through either Bentley or Crowder. Links in with third wave/third apostolic reformation and all that aswell. I remember that after the tsunami there was a story – don’t know how true it was – but this young girl was on the beach and had learnt about tsunamis at school and could see the sea behaving in that way and shouted – run, run – and thereby saved lives.

  58. From John Crowder New Mystics email, May 6 2009

    “We’re Moving! …

The Lord has been speaking to us about California for a long time, but we are seeing such a massive outbreak on the West Coast, we are now feeling a strong confirmation from the Lord to move our families westward and continue experiencing the spirit of revival!

    The New Ecstatics Explodes …

At The New Ecstatics we had more miraculous testimonies than we could count. Limbs grew out on the streets. People were blown out of wheelchairs. Someone testified of a supernatural reunion with a child who had been missing for more than a decade. On the first night of the event, the whole communications grid for the entire region was shut down (telephones, cell phones, internet, ATM and credit card purchases, and all the banks closed down)! We felt that the Lord was shutting down the second heavens and releasing a new thing over the entire region! This move will be marked by the phenomenal!

    A Wild Ecstatic Movement …

The greatest sign and wonder are a people becoming possessed with divine love, with no-holds-barred, ecstatic demonstrations of blissful, worship-filled lifestyles. These meetings were crazy, uncalculated, and perhaps the wildest we have ever seen, spilling out onto the streets! New-agers, hare krishnas and all sorts of unbelievers began wandering in off the streets, amazed at the unfettered celebration and the tangibly glorious atmosphere! We saw salvations happening on the streets, without any sort of orchestrated outreach. God simply invaded our midst, and some of the weirdest citizens of Santa Cruz encountered the power of a God who is far more mysterious, happy and powerful than any counterfeit form of spirituality! It is time that Jesus has a happy, supernatural revival where the cross is preached and demonstrated by a wild and free, fully possessed people!

    Extended Meetings Will Continue …

Jesus continues to pour Himself out! Come to one of our monthly Santa Cruz meetings on the schedule listed here. People have come from all over – Australia, Europe, the Caribbean and all over the continental U.S. You will not want to miss the party!”

Anyone have any confirmation of this? I really doubt it. Where is the video of these amazing healings. All we see is Crowder/Dunn etc. acting stupid, stoned and insanely foolish, defiling the name of Jesus.

  62. Miriam, I remember back in the mid 90’s maybe earlier, people would claim the Paul Cain’s meetings would cause power outages and video camera’s to short out/burn up, whatever.

Seems like Crowder is trying to hitch a ride on that band wagon.

  64. Jan2,

I did think of reference to the heretical Third Wave, but didn’t know if it was just coincidence. It is interesting in the dream that the Third wave was the most devastating. I did forget to mention that when the third wave hit, the color of everything was orange. Don’t know if this is significant or not.

I did not know that TB referred to lakelend as a tsunami. Interesting indeed.

Thanks for looking at this more closely Jan. I appreciate it.

Check out a video with Che Ahn in it talking about when he and some others were in Hawaii and the symbolism for them in the waves coming. It is on this site somewhere, around May 08 I believe, easiest to find with the Che Ahn category tab.

    Comment by endtimespropheticwords | May 12, 2009

  66. Symbolically, and in the world, orange is used to warned of danger or caution. Also I think it is used in the occult(as in orange and black for Halloween)No color in itself is “evil” of course, but that just seems like common sense to apply what things mean to you in understanding dreams. Just as a sidenote, I don’t put a whole lot of stock in dreams any more, though I know God can speak to us through dreams.

    Comment by DoubleGrace | May 12, 2009

  67. Thanks for the Che Ahn reference Miriam, I will look into that.

    DoubleGrace,
You are correct. I used to think every dream meant something, NOW I know better. I definitely may only find a handful out of 200 dreams that might have significance and be something God is telling me or wanting me to tell.

I thought this particular tsunami dream one was interesting, but I wasn’t going to pay it much attention until I came across Lone’s comment, then I felt lead to share.

I don’t know, I still doubt my ability a lot when it comes to hearing God’s voice and direction. I have a real problem with thinking He means something for me, or I get concerned that I’m thinking something is for me and it’s not. I just don’t want to mess up anymore. You know.

Thanks again everyone for looking at this.

    Comment by servant | May 12, 2009

  68. servant, I think your dream was very much of God, I think it was for me!

At the time you had your dream, right afer the devastating tsunami’s, God gave me a word. I knew it had an immediate meaning of encouragement for me to trust Him with my prodigals, as I had been earnestly praying that parable back to Him, that they would come to their senses, and realize that in their Father’s house they would not lack bread. And it was before we had to imprison them both for their safety. It was this scripture in Isaiah 51, That mentions tsunamis:

I, even I am he who comforts you,
Who are you that you fear mortal men…
because of the wrath of the oppressor?
The cowering prisoners will soon be set free,
they will not die in their dungeon,
    nor will they lack bread.
For I am the LORD your God,
who churns up the sea so that its waves roar–
the LORD Almighty is his name.
I have put my words in your mouth
and covered you with the shadow of my hand–
I who set the heavens in place,
who laid the foundations of the earth,
and who say to Zion, ‘You are my people.’”

I had a sense that the part of having his words in my mouth was for me also, but I did not want to be presumptuous in that, and I also had a sense that part of the word was for the future. So, a woman whose ministry I respect was praying for me a few months ago, and God gave her a vision of a tsunami. I thought it was an encouragement for my prodigals, and my ministry to their crowd, but I think now I am being encouraged to go break some chains.

Servant, when you mentioned that dream on May 5, I had just posted a strong warning I thought came from God, that the practioners of pharmacopeia in His church might just go all the way and O.D. themselves, in their lust for a high. It is specifically to Crowder and his gang, and I think I’m supposed to take it to them in person, not just from my comfy perch on the internet.

    http://endtimespropheticwords.wordpress.com/2009/04/30/new-ecstatics-the-oddest-kind-of-street-witness-ever/

I was paying attention to the discussion between Lone, and you and jan(2) but until the words of TB came up,linking Fakeland and tsunamis, and jan(2) saying “after the tsunami there was a story – don’t know how true it was – but this young girl was on the beach and had learnt about tsunamis at school and could see the sea behaving in that way and shouted – run, run – and thereby saved lives

okay, at this point, all of me was saying I surrender, I’ll go and hold a sign up or whatever you ask me to, I won’t send anybody else I won’t ask for a Deborah, God! but I was going to keep my activity private. I felt Him prompting me to go public, but I’m chicken,(who are you that you fear mortal men, ah, it is my great sin, oh how I want to fear God more!).

But He keeps reminding me that this is a team effort, and I can’t possibly go down there on my own, or I’ll be slaughtered. Lone’s feeling of nausea, I can’t ignore.

Servant, I couldn’t stand you thinking you hadn’t heard from God with that dream–and being so brave to publicly speak it out!–the compassionate part of me won over the cowardly part. (But I also fear greatly the sin of presumption, and going where God has not told me to go!)

So, the end of it all is, servant Jan(2), Lone, please pray for me. If all the H-E-double toothpicks breaking out all around my home is any indication, there is going to be a lot of warfare against it. P(1) is in a particularly bad place.

So the long and short–oh boy, what fun! I believe May 29 is the date of Crowders’ next foray into my neighborhood and I think I’m supposed to drive up in the welcome wagon, introduce myself to him and tell him my little parable. Maybe I’ll make him some cinnamon buns!

So here is my movement in that direction, and maybe this mad mama can stop some madness, Joseph. Or just rescue some little prodigal, like Tatertots, P(2)’s friend. That would be enough for me. I just know I’m supposed to go.

  70. Thank you Karen!!!!

I’m glad that God knew better than us and that all of us had a piece to the puzzle. :)

I will be praying for you, especially starting May 29, I’m writing it down in my planner, because I’m OOOOHHHH SOOOOOO forgetful.

I too have been wrestling with whether to talk to the pastor at our church about pre-trib rapture theory. Twice he has mentioned it in his last two sermons and it leaves me very dissapointed. I can’t even listen to the rest of the message. I have been at other churches that mention this theory and I start to cry. I get the overwhelming feeling of immense sorrow and I have to leave.

I was raised baptist and I know the pre-trib, mid-trib, post trib debate is seen as a harmless belief no matter what stance you take. But I feel deeply it is very harmful, so much so that I cry about it when I hear teachers display their belief in it.

I think it’s irresponsible for any pastor, regardless of their stance, to not teach their sheep to be prepared to go through the Great Tribulation and to refuse the mark of the beast.

All this being said, I have no clue how to approach the pastor, or if I’m supposed to. I have wrote up an email but I haven’t sent it, I’m waiting for God to tell me that it’s really Him telling me to do this and not my flesh. I keep getting doubts like, Who am I? What if I’m wrong?
But then I think that our pastor is a good shepherd, just a little mislead and might actually hear my request to search out the truth of the matter.

I don’t know, I’m rambling on now, but everyone please pray that if I’m to say anything, that I say what God wants me to say, not what I think should be said, or if I’m to say nothing, then give me peace about it.

    Thank you all :)

  71. Get ready for fireworks! I just mentioned to my pastor that I wasn’t sure about the ‘pre-trib’ rapture escape theory. He became enraged and sent me an angry email!!! I really am not sure. I do question an easy ‘rapture’. I don’t see how all the sinning, casual, at ease, arrogant, lust-filled, greedy, selfish, hateful, deceived church attenders are going to get an ‘easy pass’ into heaven. It just doesn’t sound right. I never could really believe we would all be just ’snatched’ away and it’s so easy. I can’t stand it when dumb, misled church people so proudly gloat over ‘their’ own special rapture. They are in for a rude awakening, I think. I always wondered why the Bible would have all the details of the 666,etc; if it didn’t apply to us. Where are some good, concise articles that clearly show proof of the mid-trib or even post-trib theories?

    Comment by justavoice | May 13, 2009

  72. Justavoice,

All you have to do is google pre-trib rapture theory-false, and tons of articles will come up debunking it and giving a history on it and/or google – mid trib, post trib. I’ve found some good articles that I thought I bookmarked but must have deleted when cleaning up. Of course, keep your discernment cap on because some people will promote mid-trib, post-trib rapture theory and then everything else they write could be completely bonkers. :)

The real fact that pre-trib rapture theory has only been taught and seen in church history for maybe 200 years makes it highly suspect. There are some arguments that it showed up once or twice before in some early Christianity teachings but no one can really say where, so I see that’s really digging for poor proof.

    The best proof is scripture.

Matthew 24 is my favorite and look at 1 Thessalonians and 2 Thessalonians. If you read those along with Revelation, it will all start to make sense.

People try to use Thessalonians as proof of this secret rapture, but if it’s read straight through in context, you can see that the disciples are pointing out to NOT believe some letter that says the Day of the Lord has already come. They are pointing at the pre-trib rapture theory and any other theory that does not line up with scripture and are calling it false.

There will be a rapture/ BUT not till the very end. Not till the last trump. And for the other argument that people say we are not made for God’s wrath, they are correct. We are not in the way of God’s wrath, the unrepentant wicked are. BUT that doesn’t mean we won’t feel the wrath of the world or satan’s wrath brought against us.

Any Tribulation in life or the Great Tribulation is to refine us through fire like gold. There is no other way.

Think about it, you have a serious enquiry into truth and have approached your pastor about it. Your pastor (shepherd) who has the biblical responsibility of ‘lovingly caring’ for the sheep, has replied to you with an angry e.mail in an enraged state. What does that say about him.
In my book, he is immediately dis-qualified from the position he holds.

The point is not that you asked a question, which you have every right to do on any subject matter (this is how to learn), but his ungodly reaction toward you shouts out what is beneath his skin.

So many Pastors today make the mistake that they are ‘the boss’ and the members are the servants. In fact scripturally it is the other way round. Matt 20: 26.

I am sorry you find yourself in the position that you have. Join the club. It is NOT PLEASANT but believe me it is better to find out, than remain in ignorance, and be deceived by a man who is clearly a ‘man appointed’ rather than a ‘God annointed’ leader.

Keep us posted about the fireworks, I will pray for you today.

You are correct we’re not in God’s wrath. The one’s who are in God’s wrath are the ones not protected by God’s seal the Holy Spirit. When I first became a christian I believed in pre-trib and believed that Jesus could return in 3 minutes from now. But once I studied how the pre-trib doctrine was brought into the church then I began to have doubts. If you think about it, it’s better for us to go through the tribulation so we can warn people of what’s coming. And if we die so what because we live for eternity.

Comment by Jesus Heals | May 14, 2009

  75. When I was delivered from false JW teachings, the Holy Spirit spoke a word to me – “communion”. Started crying, and asked Him why.. He showed me that the JW’s pass the wine and bread during their once a year communion, and it grieves Jesus as much as the satanists that crush the bread under their heel. This also reminds me of the same *sad*.

  76. Update on the ‘fireworks’ *simmering* I also had questioned (the pastor)concerning some of the other things I’ve learned recently…like what some of the big-name Xtion celebrities do. He obviously did not appreciate my queries… and gave me the stock-’touch not’-answer that they all use. So, now I am staying away and learning on my own, and going through a really hard time: trying not to be confused any more. And, most of the church attendees do not like to question anything, so I am being a lonely pioneer, I guess! I am not going to argue about things, so I will pray they will somehow see what is true, and what is just ridiculous- and false. (And this I pray for myself as well)

What part of this do you have a problem with? In specific, academic, scriptural, theological words what problem do you have with John Crowder?

(As with another post, I’m not trying to incite a riot, I’m asking an honest question. Crowder is weird. John the Baptist was really weird. Ezekiel was off the weirdness scale. This leads me to believe that weirdness is not necessarily a sign of heresy… But perhaps I’m a bit naive and haven’t taken any Hermeneutics courses?)
