Christian prophecy for the church and for the nations from a servant of God called to speak God's word

Rick Joyner’s Morningstar Now in The Bottled Water Business

Fancy drinking water from Rick Joyner’s well? Well you can now! See here and also here for as to how.

Matt Peterson has apparently made it all happen, recently launching the bottled water range, Zao Water, in league with Rick Joyner’s Morningstar Ministries.

Zao Water claims to be a ”non-profit bottled water company”  based in North Carolina. They also claim to be a “humanitarian organization working to transform communities by providing safe drinking water, hygiene education and hope for people in developing nations.”

I hope shops thinking of stocking, or the public thinking of buying Zao Water, are put on alert they are by their actions supporting a dangerous and deceptive dominionist religious cult. Morninstar’s idea of transforming “communities” and the public’s idea are quite another thing entirely.

  1. Well, I’m sure the water has a special “anointing.”

  2. Why drink that when you can drink Kabbalah Water?

  3. What annoys me with Rick Joyner, Todd Bentley, Bill Johnson, God’s TV and all the other Third Wave nuts is that they say whoever criticizes or speaks against them is off the devil! What don’t they consider the truth that they are off the devil?

  5. Samuel,

    Re: Kabbalist’s water:

From the bottom of the webpage: To learn more about the connection between consciousness and water… Well, I don’t need to go their weblink to that there IS a direct link between “consciousness and water” — that is, that if a person goes too long without water they will lose consciousness. ;-)

  6. This is off the subject but can any one tell me of any good charismatic/pentecostal , spirit-filled preachers. I very strongly believe in spiritual gifts, but as of late I have been discovering much deception in the charismatic camp. I have dicovered the falsehood of word of faith/prosperity stuff. Have uncovered the truth about the rapture. Have found many to be false prophets that I use to respect. I use to think guys like John G. Lake were ok, till I googled this site searching for answers. It seems like there is David Wilkerson and thats it. I’m feeling discouraged. There seems to be know balance in the church. Your either a cessationist with good fundamentals or radical choatic charismatic. I have been a charismatic for 4yrs now, its all I have ever known. Does anybody understand what I’m going through?

  7. “not for profit bottled water company.”…Well said. I guarantee there will be no profit after Joyner creams the revenue given by well intentioned Christian givers. Didn’t you see those poor, sick African babies with those pitiful, longing gazes?

…..and Miriam; you’re right….People need to be warned. You can bet that if there is any real transformation or relief for the suffering poor, it will be morphed into a power grab by these animals….for that is their true motive in every thing that they do or say….Power and authority over you….for their gain.

  9. Turn the heating up a bit, do a talk about being in the desert and then a story about drops of water supernaturally occurring inside the building and sales at conferences/meetings should be good.
For UK readers – just reading this week’s Radio Times and there is a small item reminding us of the episode of Only Fools and Horses when Del sold bottled water from “an ancient and natural source. Of course, it all went wrong and the punters soon discovered that the ancient and natural source was in fact the Trotters’ kitchen tap.”

What would Del Boy do if he were in the prophetic business? And who would be the Rodney?! Blimey. It IS Morningstar!

  12. Jesse,

I have found Carter Conlon from Time Square Church to be an awesome bible teacher. He is the only man in the US right now that I will listen to his sermons. I know there are probably more but I am learning so much in the Word now through his teachings that I have not looked anywhere else. I know that the Holy Spirit is our ultimate teacher but I believe he is using Carter for these times. If you decide to check him out, listen to his sermon “Run for your life” from the year 2001. Make sure you listen until the very end because it is close to the end when you get to see his most precious heart for the church.

  14. Like Wagner and Warren, Rick Joyner has a very pompous, arrogant attitude toward anyone who questions his elitist, mystical, psychotic imaginations of grandeur and godhood. Rick Warren and Rick Joyner bring us full circle because Warren’s embrace of any and every example of spirituality throws the contemporary church into confusion because most believers today have bought hook, line and sinker the experiential mystical poison of spiritualism these frauds spew over the solid, sound, biblical Spirituality we read in the Word of God.

I am in the same boat too. As are a few others I know… I am thankful for the few men like David Wilkerson or Paul Washer that are preaching the message without fear.

    God bless!

  17. Hi Jesse,

I very much understand what you’re saying. I’m not sure where you are, but you might want to look into either a Calvary Chapel church (expository Bible-teaching, and mostly conservatively charismatic — which is where I go. They do teach a pre-trib rapture belief which I’m not convinced about, and some of the CC’s are better than others.) Or, another ministry I discovered is Andrew Wommack ministries (www.awmi.net) which also runs a Bible college. You might be able to do a web search for Charis college pastor or something similar, to find pastors who went to his college? The AWM website has a ton of articles and mp3 audio teachings, so you could check it out and see if it’s for you before you look for a pastor from that college, too.

  18. Be careful of Andrew Womack – I understand there are word of faith issues.

  21. When I was seeking truth I began in my own backyard.

First look at where you have been, I will show you the way,
man only gifts the burdens of the past, I heal them.

From there on in daily he would walk with me and the burden, get me to understand the burden, then take the burden. Its love that came in my hour of need to show me the hell I had been captured by.

From then on in he show’d me why I had been captured, and by whom. I know that he loves us because he show’d me why I wasn’t love’d. When I was deep in the wound, he show’d me how to gift that place how and where to grieve and how and to whom to share it with. The confrontation with truth in having nothing was the end of hope in man for me and his ways.

When your nothing comes to call its enemy, then when something is gifted from his heart of great passion for his people you know you are really being taken into his something, that requires from others nothing because he is beginning to gift you his everything.

When I go to church to join in with fellowship I require nothing from pastor or preacher, people or place, I am already full to overflowing with his great need of my love and that overflows to what a great job he did on me.

Africa’s used to glorify poverty for those who need to be known to be doing good. DON’T GO THERE. DON’T GO TO GIMMICKS, rain, white feathers, or eagles called emma’

When you ask it shall be given unto you, these people ask for wealth, not from a huge desire to be his whole, they didn’t want to pay the price, they want you to.

  25. What really annoys me is this pseudo nonsense of charitable deeds which masks in the 21st century as pharasitical or parasitical sheming, supposedly done in the name of the Lord. Rick Joyner connects and links into any marketing strategy that will support his ideology. Funds/exposure/name dropping adds to his powerful motive for credibility and religious prestige. It’s time the church woke up and realised that genuine problems globally don’t require a man with his own ‘agenda’ to mediate between givers and receivers. There are infact many sincere organisations that operate with accountability that appreciate a christian’s monetary donation. Not through a gimick of bottled water serviced by someone who has very little interest in anything but flaunting his own feathers!

  26. After slugging back a bit of this water, you might want to go to the Airport Church in Toronto where for the low low price of 12 hundred dollars 2 prayer specialists will pray over you for 3 hours a day Monday to Friday for an intire week. This will help your marrage your finances ect,and the best part they will discount couples to a mere 2000 for both .P T barnum said there was one born every minute, with the charismatic movement it must average out to one every 10 seconds by now. These guys love to refer to them selves as Apostles, and I must say I am greatful to them that they dont refer to themselves as Holy Apostles like Paul did in Eph.3:5,because there fruit would not be eaten by a hungry vulture.I get fed from Times Square chuch as well Jessie , but take the time to go into Serman Index.Lots of great stuff.

  29. This week Joyner writes in his Word for the Week:
“Nearly twenty years ago, Bob Weiner, John Elliott, and I were doing a radio show together when the Spirit came upon us and we were shown 500,000 small home groups being raised up all over America. These were places where new believers would come for salvation, healing, deliverance, and basic instruction in sound doctrine.

Sound doctrine? I hope that Joyner doesn’t mean his own doctrines. They are not sound at all… they are false teachings (like 7 mountains, spiritual warfare and restoring a man who did not repent at all).

  33. Heritage towers …
Video is quite sad … it’s all about indulging oneself, taking in joyner’s latest book, and getting prioritized seating at their worship meeting. Ooooh
Service? naah. Giving of oneself? Not on your life.
    Indulgence of the flesh? Absolutely.

Do they know that millions of people in the world are starving? If they really knew the Lord and desired to do his will they would have spent their money otherwise…

  36. These were places where new believers would come for salvation, healing, deliverance, and basic instruction in sound doctrine.

Last I heard the “Wealth transfer” teaching is not sound doctrine! Recently we have seen much wealth transfer in America and it went to Banks, CEO’s, and thieves but none to Christians?

  37. oh be careful little ears what you hear. Have any of you ever been to morningstar fellowships or rick joyner personally. i have and they bare more fruit of the spirit, love of god toward jesus and community and if you follow the
world trends in the headlines and in community you will see
truth of course no one is perfect 100% of time as we all see a part the bible says and it also says be careful calling what is God of the devil
