  1. There are evidences of a revived Roman Empire all around us. Personally, I think the statue welcoming travelers to the United States near the town of Babylon is of interest.

    I often find myself thinking of the similarities of the statue of liberty and the woman described in Revelations 17.
    I read this a while back and was struck with the image of a fireman rubbing dust in his face from the fallen twin towers after I read 18:19.

    I think about all of the Roman traditions carried overseas, and and the origins of the statue of liberty and the true meaning behind her. The idea that America answers the call to freedom, not Jesus. There is the symbolism that her seven spikes represent the seven continents and the torch is the enlightenment. I also think of the twin towers, and their very purpose being trade of great wealth.

    I am no expert on any of this, it just struck me as interesting. There is also the prophecy of the popes, and if there is truth in that, then the Antichrist is soon to rule.

    As for the new Caesar… not to beat a dead horse here, but has anyone else seen anything peculiar in Obama’s signature?

    [Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, "Come I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication"

    The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. And on her forehead a name was written. MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus.

    for she says in her heart I sit as queen, and am no widow

    Therefore her plagues will come in one day- death and mourning and famine.

    The kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her will weep and lament for her when they see the smoke of her burning.

  4. Tony Blair is no longer in the picture to become the first president. The first one that has the greatest chance to become the president of Europe could be Van Rompuy from Belgium (he is not a strong person). He will be like a puppet on a string.

  5. Some have tipped Tony Blair to be the first President of the EU. In my opinion Tony Blair could not run a nation, why would anyone think he could run a continent?

    Basically this is another ecumenical lets get together movement. Is this not exactly what the false prophet will do- unite the religions. The Roman Catholic Church is very much at the forefront of this. We are told Blair has converted to Catholicism and while Tony Blair is hardly the candidate you would expect to see signs and wonders, The Roman Catholic church however does boast of signs and wonders and the Pope is a false prophet.

    If Tony gets the job he would reside as president politically in both the secular and the sacred. NOW THAT IS A SCARY THOUGHT!

    I was brought up in the era of Hall Lindsey’s “Late great planet Earth” books. Personnel his teaching is somewhat busted as things did not come to pass as written. We have gone well past the ten nation states once taught. However the drive towards a United States of Europe has been well noted for many years.

    It could be just as America has become one nation instead of many. We could also see Europe become one nation in Europe. This would open the discussion as to who would become the other nine. America has long since posed a problem as it does not appear to be mentioned directly in Scripture. Yet America MUST prefigure in Biblical prophecy. As we have seen America has now joined with Europe and the other “G” nations to fight against climate change.

    Will this become the glue that will hold the different nations together? While they are so different in languages, politics, communist, socialist , democracy ,religious, atheist. Like the ten toes of Nebuchadnezzar image which were made up of iron and clay. Neither really able to merge as one entity. They will “be partly strong and partly broken “(Dan 2:43). Would this describe the nations today? United and yet disunited. Politically at odds and yet forced to unite in a common cause? “Mingled with the seed of men “. Not one people under one nation but a cosmopolitan of nations ,people, creeds, and languages.

    Javier Solana has been the de facto EU leader for quite some time. He was set to retire but has not as of yet. We’ll see…

    because it’s a documentary of all the recent changes this year that are leading to a world government and ruler ….I didn’t know I would see this in my lifetime but one disturbing part around the 2 hr mark is where they discuss the complicity and duplicity of the clergy in furthering the goal – even preaching what they’re told to and being spies for the gov’t

  10. Tony Blair will not be the one. Remember, the Antichrist must be traceable to the Jewish heritage in order to be accepted by Jews as the Messiah. His name “is the number of a man” and that number is 666. According to Revelation, he must be a “prince” and not a king.     Matt 24:3

    Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the discples came to Him privately, saying,Tell us, when will these things be?And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age.
    And Jesus answered and said to them: take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name saying, I am the Christ, and will deceive many.

    Reading chpts 24 and 25 gives a clear outline of events preceeding Christs return, and this where truth can only be found

  15. Ray is right when he says that prophecy is about the church. As long as there is salt and light in this world, that seasoning will season men’s souls. But as the church weans we will see greater anarchy and violence. As Christ is rejected so God will give men over to their lusts. The darkness grows!

    Twenty years ago many Bible scholars predicted a rapture, but they never envisioned the persecution of the church. Today we see there is indeed a growing persecution of the church. Another piece of that jigsaw has found its place. The departure of the church sees a multitude depart from THE FAITH but not necessarily from A faith.

    False prophets ,apostles, crawling out of the woodwork. False signs and wonders by the buckets full. Doctrines of demons in abundance. False Christ’s too numerous to count. Strong delusions growing by the minute. Church attendance falling while Hip HOP bubble and froth Christianity but no real power is on the increase.

    The world and the church in places are so intermingled we cant even know were one starts and the others finishes.

  16. First, let me make the comment that though some believe that the antichrist “must be Jewish,” there is reason to dispute that assertion. Notice that the wording of Daniel 11:37 is phrased, “the god(s) of his fathers.”

    In brief, the Hebrew word used for “god(s)” does not necessarily represent the God of Israel. It is a more generic term, which can also represent a deity, rather than the Deity, or a superlative characteristic such as related to a magistrate, judge, or even angel.

    Also, in virtually every case, when referring to God within a Jewish context, the relationship to God is expressed as “our” and not “his.”

    As to the Church being central to God’s end-time culmination of this age, while I do believe that though she is certainly a significant part of that, it is not exclusive to her. Let me suggest that Israel and the Church’s destinies are directly intertwined with one another.

    Without commnentary on my part, let me cite a few Scriptures which indicate that Israel and the Jewish people “scattered abroad” are very much central to the second coming of Christ at the end of the age: Gen. 12:1-3, 17:1-8, Is. 49:21-23, Zech. 12:1-3, Luke 21:24, Acts 1:6, Romans 11, II Thes. 2:4, Rev. 11:1-13 (*v. 8 – Jerusalem), Rev. 12:13-17, 17 & 18 (*17:18, *18:24 – Jerusalem).

  17. The main reason many believe that the antichrist has to be Jewish is simple. Would the Jews accept a messiah that is anything but Jewish?

    There appear to be a growing fallacy that Israel is central to Gods timetable. Israel has to be propped up by any means necessary especially by Christians.

    It makes for some harrowing reading. It’s not one many will like. What is so amazing is that Christians have been tricked into supporting one of the most wickedest nations in the world, whilst turning a blind eye to Israel’s crimes. The simple reality that many of the bullets fired at Palestinians has found their mark in fellow Christians. I find this incomprehensible.

    NO at present it’s the established church. We have a scenario where many have professed a faith but have never come to the faith.

    Without the departure of the church there can be NO rising up of the man of sin. Israel has already departed from following God and I believe many will also take the mark of the beast. Who is it that takes heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons but apostate Christianity? Who will do false signs and wonders? Apostate Christianity! While it’s the apostate church that starts it, many others things will prophetically follow.

    PAX ROMA
    It should be noted that in the Old Roman Empire they had the “PAX ROMA”, THE ROMAN PEACE. Where do we find such a concept today? None other than in the UN. Were an international force travel the world trying to keep the peace.

    The revived Roman Empire I believe has been with us for a number of years. We just did not recognise it. The United Nations is central to this PAX ROMA and it central to AMERICA and EUROPE. The main UN building is in East side of Manhattan. Whilst The International Court of Justice (ICJ), located in The Hague, Netherlands,

    The Roman Empire was well into ecumenicalism long before the term began to be use today. The empire would be willing to embrace any worship of any god bar one. In this it was intolerant towards true Christianity.

    There are many similarities between Rome and America. Rome had its senate and its senators, so does America. Rome was a republic and I am told so is America. America influence over the UN is fairly well documented. Especially in the light that when the UN wanted to place sanctions against Israel, America veto any amendment.

    The UN is powerless without American support. The growth of the majority of modern cults have their origins in America. Rome was the hub of civilisation, culture and prosperity. Does this not describe America today?

    All this cannot be incidental. Was it not American Christians who signed the Evangelicals and Catholic together charter? So I could go on. Yet America cannot go it alone as Europe is also included in this. It too embraces a PAX ROMA. And it too is central to the UN and a United Europe.

  18. It also must be noted that there are Jews and Jewish Rabbis which do not support or even recognise present day Israel as the Nation which has been restore by God. They do not believe that modern Israel is what the scriptures refers to.

    The only way Israel and the church could be intertwined is if we are talking about apostate Christianity. It is there that there is an intertwining of faiths. It is in this area there we see “Christians” looking to support an ungodly nation. A nation which in many instances see religious Jews also persecutes messianic Jews.

Possible scenario – a person becomes head of Europe, which becomes increasingly large (with many ex USSR states joining, and some of North Africa and the Middle East etc, so it resembles the Roman Empire of old) and powerful, and dictatorial. As part of its “protection of human rights” and come down against “hate speech”, right to speech in the EU becomes increasingly censored under the guise of defamation of Islam, or homosexuals, or any other “minority” groups of their choosing.

    Zero tolerance becomes the rule with way over the top penalties phased in for “hate speech”. As a consequence Christianity and the Bible is persecuted. Bizarrely, (given its parallel beliefs on certain matters) Islam ISN’T.

    Meanwhile, the EU and the Roman church cosy up even more, for a “New Era of peace and enlightenment”, especially when the EU guy brokers peace in the Middle East with “enlightened” and “progressive” leaders at the healm of these countries, all aided and abetted by the Catholic church.

The trouble is, most European politicians are so scared of “Islamic” beligerence, violence and extremism, and/or being accused of being racist by the P.C. brigade, that they will do anything to bend over backward and try and accomodate Islam – little realising by so doing to “maintain the peace” that they put a greater terror in its place, far from peaceful – a form of Islamic totalitarianism. (Sharia law, here Europe comes.)

  23. Gen 6:13 God said unto Noah. The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and. Behold I will destroy them with the earth”

    The word “Violence” carries the idea of : violence, wrong, cruelty, injustice.

    Originally films makers made their films around an actor’s ability. There was always the plot, but the plot always had a moral aspect to it. Good guys won and the bad guys got their up comings. If the plot involved lies there were consequences. Truth was highly valued. Integrity honoured. The good guy became a role model to our youth. I mean who did not want to be John Wayne!!

    Is 5:20 “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter”

    Today films are No longer made around just an actors ability, if at all, but around the FX productions. When the bad guy got shot he fell down and there was no blood trail, today however the cry is ”give us more blood”. So now there is blood everywhere., Bigger and better graphics, more gory scenes, more explosions. As most of us realise the supernatural has become the in thing. Ghosts, goblins, demons, and at times even the “good” guys are some blood sucking vampire and the bad guy gets to be a star. Lying at times is even encouraged and good is mocked and devalued.

    Reality TV has taken off in recent years0. Suddenly we want to see people get involved with game shows. Again the more gory and difficult it is the more entertaining. Nothing too serious just for a laugh, or is it?

    So what does all this have to do with Gen 6?
    “THE EARTH IS FILLED WITH VIOLENCE”

    The film industry is just reflecting the views of today’s society, and society is reflecting what they watch. Were once the British Bobby carried around with him nothing more than small baton, now it’s the guns, tasters, pepper sprays and body armour.

    The Roman Empire was famous for their reality game shows. The people thirsted for more and more blood and the emperors saw to it they got it.. The blood was far more real than a TV episode. Yet how many fictitious films are based on real happenings! Its only entertainment you say, but so was the killing Christians in the Arena.

    How many can recall someone acting out a role in reality that was first seen on TV. The dividing line between fiction and reality is continually and deliberately being blurred.

    Rev. 11: 9-10 “And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth”

    Will this become the final expression of a reality TV show?

  24. “Tony Blair, Gordon Brown” yadda yadda I happened to notice the U.K.’s foreign minister was readily eye-balled for the powerful foreign minister of the EU cabinet. David Milliband (who has a bro on the same cabinet, btw) is a JEW, of Marxist background and treacherous to the people. Last heard, Milliband was not accepting the offer. Could always change his mind, but it sure startled me when I first found out of the potential.
