  1. Who cares if it is a cult or not.
    There are many things going off out there, and not only in the USA, or on God TV. Also in the UK.

    I find one of the best ways to counter these pressures from outside, is to minister to others, particularly in power ministry. It is amazing how God will reveal that what others preach and practice is not necessarily sanctioned by Him.

    Example:

    I belonged to a church, St. Thomas’s in Sheffield, who had a healing team, where all members had to pray in twos and threes and more, depending on their “anointing” and had to carry the obligatory “Healing Team” badge.

    One evening I had the opportunity to pray for a guy at home I had met in a pub, and who had heard the Gospel, and it had messed up his mind.

    He was frightened.

    As I prayed for him it became obvious he was in distress, and I said in my heart, “I must go and call ??? a member of the healing team”, who happened to be a friend of mine.

    Suddenly God spoke clearly to me and asked, “Why do you need anyone else when you have me!”

    This was a blockbuster, and went right against the grain of all church teaching. I continued in prayer, prayed something or other, and suddenly the guy asked, “Who switched the light on!” He was free of his problem.

    This happened many years ago, but it has stuck with me.

    Stuff what others preach and practice. I couldn’t care less. And what goes off on God TV has become less and less interesting and important to me.

    Have you noticed by the way that yet again this year a “Missions Week” is being aired. Yes, they are pleading for jolly old dosh. Again. And again. And again.

    What has happened to all their bilge about money? Where are the multi-millionair viewers who faithfully gave all.

    This year, I was out of work for seven months.

    Money hungry, deluded “teachers” on the God TV were saying that under no circumstances must we give up on our giving, particularly when we have no job. This is when God will bless us most, or some such irresponsible drivvel.

    Being the rebel I am, I stopped giving. What happened? Seven months later God spoke to me, and gave me a super job, better than the previous. More money, fewer hours. Completely the opposite of what is taught.

    Stuff God TV, and stuff the Americans!!

    My advice: be a rebel, and do exactly the opposite of what they preach. God still loves you, and always will, and it does not depend on what you do or don’t do!

    Praying four million hours a month does not impress God. It’s quality that matters, not quantity.

    People who know their God will be strong and do exploits. If you cannot stand in your faith you will not stand at all.

    When God shows you how much He accepts and loves you, it takes off all the pressure from these self styled, self seeking, harbingers of spiritual death and destruction.

    Be a rebel! Jesus was!

  2. Since Mike Bickle never heeded the warnings and documentation of his heresies from Ernie Gruen’s 1990 report and continues today going deeper toward hell, the real question should be,

    “Why isn’t IHOP a cult?”

    Coming right up is yet another Bridal Magic ritual where 1000s more youth will be eternally married to the “Many-Membered Manchild” i.e. the “Adam Kadmon” antiChrist that NOLR leaders plagiarized from the writings of Jane Leade and the Philadelphian Society.

    Is God going to withhold His wrath much longer and wait for these people to repent, or will the delusion they are already under increase and start manifesting to the obvious conclusions of Mystica Unio? You cannot get a better “Present Truth” example than “King” Brian Tamaki prophesying that he and his merry “Bride Company” band will take over New Zealand. He combined the neoplatonic Word-of-Faith declaration and NOLR reincarnation doctrines of a “restored Davidic Kingdom” and then attempts to finance the farce by selling T-shirts and revival garbage.

    HEY NEW ZEALAND CHRISTIANS!! IT’S HEADS UP TIME!!!!

    Brian Tamaki and HIS discipleship/shepherding “Destiny” cult is now VERY dangerous. Christians here in America were savagely raped in the late 70s through the 80s. The evil gnostics like Bob Mumford, Derek Prince, Don Basham, Charles Simpson, and John “Ern” Baxter cooked up another version of what Mike Bickle and Brian Tamaki are now doing by forcing 10s of 1000s of duped Christians to sign written covenants and commit to oaths of allegiance. Cut Tamaki off while you have the chance! Do it now or suffer God’s wrath on your island. Tamaki, Bickle, Weiner, Wagner, Frangipane, Joyner, Hamon, Broocks, Murrell, Bonasso, etc. ad nauseum are all hell’s angels. They are all antichrist. Warn your children to stay away from these evil perverts because some of their leaders have already been exposed for their deviant sexual escapades:

    Christians need to learn from all the historical documentation that now is easily within their reach.

  3. No, IHOP is not a cult, buy it is an elite monastic order that is steeped in ideology that is designed to ascribe an “Elijah Army”; a super Priest class; ;;;Joel’s Army;;; a movement that will gather in the great Harvest of the end times. [ they believe].

    Much of this came from false prophecies about a youth movement; by BOB JONES, who said that the Lord was going to raise up this massive army of youth, that would shake the earth, to gather a billion souls in the last days. This is a lie, and unscriptural.

    Every act in the New Testament came forth from the Church, with her roots in a local assembly, with a plurality of Elders, unprofessional. these were brothers first, and the church prospered as there were none excluded , or separated into a super-spiritual class. the church was but a group of born again souls, working out their salvation in their apparent weakness. Teenagers; [need I say more], housewives nursing babies, the aged parents, Men who worked 6 or 7 days a week to avoid starvation…[AS ONE/HALF OF THE WORLD DOES TODAY...]marriages to work out, [ with your occasional spat ], Bosses, bill collectors, and the grit and grind of life.

    There will be an ingathering according to the Bible, when it describes a “Great multitude”…no man can number…10,000 times 10,000 and thousands of thousands….

    1. It has forsaken the LOCAL CHURCH model sounded in scripture for other, more dramatic, and super spiritual ideas, that promote and adapt a morph of the Roman Catholic Monastic elitists, and the Elijah Company.

    It is spiritual pride, and of course does promote Zeal, but never any Godly fruit. The contemplative practices are indeed demonic, unscriptural and purely Babylonian…[the vows, transcendental meditation masked as prayer, Speech fasting, and fasting as a means in itself of spiritual growth.] This came about by the error that the Catholic Mystics were spiritual men and women, and the practices they held that got them there, were valid.

    Mike Bickle failed to discern them for what they are; DEMONIC!, AND ADAPTED THEM AS A MORE SPRITUAL WAY, AND EVEN A SHORT CUT TO MATURITY.

    Generally, IHOP, One Thing, The Call, etc. is just hype. A Pump Up on a grand scale, with much generated energy, that always deflates in time. Only a daily walk, over years, bearing your cross, dying to yourself, and abiding in Christ as a WORSHIPPER!, will bear Mature fruit acceptable to God. These are the OLD PATHS that have always been so.

    Because of IHOP’S scriptural integrity in other arenas, and their hold upon the Blood and the Resurrection, and being born again, they are still within the camp of orthodoxy, BUT, They must repent of this movement thinking and Elijah company trash, and start doing mercy receptions to whoever may come, or will come, and begin to lay their lives down for the least of the Brothers, and the poor , in a real way.

    Pray for Mike. Jezebel has attacked, and he is a good man, but currently blinded by a superspiritual light.

  4. The scariest thing about IHOP is its heavy promotion of Contemplative Prayer which is really TM. You’re not meditating ON God’s word… You’re using God word to meditate. Their directions even say you must put every single thought out of your mind – and enter a complete “emptiness – a silence” for it to work.

    They’re playing with demons. Lots and lots of demons…
