End Times Visions and Christian prophecy for the church and for the nations from a servant of God called to speak God’s word (Miriam Franklin): bringing prophecies and prophetic words of revelation, warning of End Times apostasy and lukewarm Christianity, and trying to bring people’s hearts, minds and souls back to the Lord their God. You have not told me anything about yourself, background, church affiliation, etc. that would lead me to trust your opinions. Can you tell my who you are accountable to, and do not tell me God or Jesus, because we all are. Do you have a spiritual father, leader, mentor etc. Please reply because I am interested in what you have to say possibly if you prove to be credible. Testing by God’s word……
I do not have a spiritual ‘father’, neither would I call anyone that as I feel that to be an ungodly and unhealthy view. However I do make myself accountable to the local fellowship I go to, as well as submit to the authority there. I have not posted these details onto the internet for privacy reasons.
Test what I say against God’s word, not by which church I go to.
I have been reading many of your posts…you seem to be quite Biblical and I like your handling of “Rahab”, well said, lets us all be “Bereans”. I agree, Post-Trib…but let us test the truth of your prophetic gift…speak about the God’s Sabbath day…I wish to hear what God says to you regarding its place in these last days. Will you reply to my email with His words to you.
Might I suggest you do some research before you reply…heres some help: Emperor Constantine(Venerable Day of the Sun), Genesis 1, Isaiah 66…good before and after snapshot of God’s word on the doctrine…May the Lord make His face to shine upon you.
Your loving brother in Christ Jesus,
Simon Peter
The true Sabbath Day is Saturday and the RC church changed it hundreds of years ago to Sunday. This was wrong of them. More wrong than the actual changing of the dates though was the audacity of a man (the pope) thinking he could do this as well as the RC church’s wicked motives behind it. There is a lot of paganism within the RC church as well as worship of the sun or Helios which is apparent in their symbols and rituals. This changing to the ‘Sun’day is linked with this sun worship.
Was it wrong? - yes, absolutely, as were their motives behind it which were more wicked than the actual changing of the day, and they will be judged for this and their other wickedness. However, do I feel that the modern protestant church who are for the most part ignorant of this event in history and this doctrine are marked by the beast as a consquence of this as many Seventh Day Adventists claim? No, I do not, I feel that is poor theology, and unfortunately the founder of the 7th Day adventists not only had rather poor theology on some points but she was also shown to be a proven false prophet re dates setting for the end of the world etc. It does not make ALL her or the church’s points bunkum though.
The apostles gave instructions to gentile converts as reported in the Book of Acts, and the decision of the apostles was not to overburden these Gentiles with Jewish Law’s commands such as circumcision etc but to keep it intentionally simple for them. No instruction or orders was given them about the Sabbath Day. The early church met DAILY and broke bread, but this is an ideal yet to be seen in the modern church - whereas the modern church meets only weekly, and so the Sabbath day would not have been such a big deal as it is to ‘us’ anyway as to them every day was Holy unto God. I believe the apostles understood the true spirit of their Lord of the Sabbath.
Is the true Sabbath Saturday that all not withstanding? Yes, and in an ideal world, I would meet with others on a Saturday for the main congregation day and not a Sunday, but seeing as I not the one who makes the rules I have to go along with the present status quo and accept that if I wish to fellowship with the congregation in this modern age, it needs to be on a Sunday.
In an ideal world the modern church would openly rebel against Rome and actively show this by moving the day to Saturday. Will they do this? I doubt it, it is too much hassle and they are too comfortable as they are.
In an ideal world, I would congregate with the majority of believers on a Saturday. However as I do not run a church, or have the power to change days, I have to go with the status quo and accept that the believers will be meeting together on a Sunday around the town where I am at and if I wish to fellowship with them this is the day they will be there. Am I 100% happy about that? No. But then I do not think that I am in sin as a consquence, as I believe the Lord of the Sabbath is bigger than all this and there are far bigger fish to fry than this that are wrong with the modern church.
Note that these are my perspectives only, and perhaps when I get the chance I will specifically enquire of the Lord about this.
Here’s an interesting website:

Maranatha!
Can you please send me your contact phone Number so that I can speak to you. The reason is that I need your prayers and guidance.
AND: At this time, I do not give out my address or tel number over the internet for privacy reasons, so unless you are prepared to have something publically posted here (if God speaks anything) and are also prepared to run it by your church leadership, then please do not ask such a thing of me.
Thank you for your response, I also feel that said “prophetess” was a false prophet and neither do I feel that the Sabbath day is the mark of the beast. From my understanding of the Scriptures, in order to know what the mark of the beast is you have to know what the “seal of God” is; and the mark will be just the opposite. If the seal if of God is as spoken of by Paul in Ephesisans; none other than the Holy Spirit. Than it is clear to me that the mark of the beast is those who do not have the Holy Spirit; namely those that have the mark in thier hands show by their living or (dare I say) “works” that they have not known Jesus Christ. Those that have the mark in the forehead have shown there rejection of the living God not so much with their actions, but have denied Him outright and mock His revealtion. Mark in the hand most likely represents “professed believers” that have put on thier own robes of righteousness (Rev. 3 Laodocia) and the forehead probably non-believers.
which had passsed away being no longer needed for they all pointed to the work of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. You have somehow lumped the Sabbath Day in as being part of that ceremonial system. I would like to show now why it does not belong in that context:
I agree that we should consecrate everyday unto the Lord. But to consecrate and to make something Holy are to different things. Only God can make something Holy and that with His prescence; (Moses at the burning bush, Joshua at Jericho).
Well said that the True-Sabbath Day is Saturday, and judgment shall come to “those that would think to change times and laws.”
However, sister I do not doubt your sincerity to gather with other believers to worship on Sunday, for as you said God is seeking those to worship Him everyday. But I was curious as to your comment:
>”No instructions or orders were given to them about the Sabbath Day”
It is true that no instructions were specifcally given. However notice that no instructions were given on murder, stealing, lying, drunkeness, extortion, coveting, etc… (NO SARCASIM INTENDED) I think what I am getting at is, these things were well intended for the Christian (Jew/Gentile) to seperate themselves from… but seeing as how they did not given instructions on them at that time period; that does in no way condon disregarding God’s revealation regarding them.
One other thing that concerns me about the text you used to supoort your opinion, is that by using that particular text in Acts 15, which is about Judiazers in Galatia that wanted the Gentile Christians to perform all the ceremonial rites of the Jews, (ritual washing, observing feast days, circumcsion, etc…
1. the Sabbath Day was an institution setup before the world fell in to sin..Genesis 1, 2.
2. Adam was not a Jew/Isralite, but a perfect man created in the image of God and the very next day he spent alive he spent with the Lord God resting and celebrating our great God’s mighty work. Genesis 2
3. When the Law (not the Mosaic or ceremonial law; the Moral Law) was given at Mt. Sinai to Moses, God inscribed on those tablets the 4th commandment which read, “remember the Sabbath Day…” Exodus 20:8, which points to an instituion that had been in place before the Jews had recieved the news about it.
4. And lastly, if the Sabbath day will be an institution in heaven as well. Isaiah 66:22,23 ” For as the new heavens and the new eart, which I will make, shall remain before me, says the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come before me, says the Lord.” From perfection(eden) to perfection (heaven) the Sabbath biblically remains unchanged in the Lord’s eyes.
You know I have read many of your post and I have found you to be a righteous defender of the truth in a great many respects, (post-trib, false signs and wonders, doctrinal errors, biblical authority, etc…)Sister this truth is just as worthy as any of the others you have defended. For can a man worship idols, take the Lord’s name in vain, bow down to graven images, dishonor mom/dad, kill, commit adultery, steal, lie or covet and have the Lord smile on our practices. God forbid! How then can we then take His Holy day and trample it under foot. (Isaiah 5
Genesis 2:3 “And God, BLESSED the SEVENTH day, and SANCTIFIED it:….”
If we just say, “well the modern church isn’t going to change at this point, so I’ll just stick it out and not challenge that status quo…” What will God say? To him/her whom much light has been given, much is expected! Sister you have a responsibility to direct people to the truth, not to go along with the apostasy of the times just because you/church think there are bigger fish to fry. This is a “BIG” fish.
Ezekiel 20:12,20 “Moreover, I gave them my Sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know I am the Lord that sanctify them. And hallow my Sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that you may know that I am the Lord you God.”
Sister, there are far reaching aspects/benefits of this instituition that the Church has been without since the 4th century and is dire need of today, especially in America. God will answer your prayers and speak with you on this matter. I was impressed to share this message with you in particular, heed the call and ask for His leading sister.
Until next time may the Lord lead you in the way and proctect your going out and coming in.
Your loving brother in Christ Jesus,
Simon Peter
>You have somehow lumped the Sabbath Day in as being part of that ceremonial system.
No, I was merely pointing out what the Book of Acts says as far as their main instructions went for the gentiles. The Sabbath was still an instruction given to God’s people (passed on from the beginning) that the gentiles would not have necassarily have acknowledged and it was not added into this list at the time as a ‘must have’. I do not see the Sabbath having such a big deal in the NT as it was in the OT as like I said every day seemed to be holy to the apostles and disciples. Now admittedly I have not studied this subject in detail so is there anything in the apostle’s teaching you’d like to bring to my attention about the Sabbath?
>If we just say, “well the modern church isn’t going to change at this point, so I’ll just stick it out and not challenge that status quo
I never said that we cannot challenge it/speak up about it. I said I personally as I am not a pastor do not have the power to change it and force a fellowship I have no overseeing power over to alter it which is a totally differant thing. And yes I do feel there are bigger fish to fry in the church at this time such as apostasy and lukewarmeness. It does not make YOU wrong though, and it does not make this matter a minnow.
If God does speak to me specifically on this, I will post it here and will thank you/apologise to you or whatever if I am wrong in my current doctrine as well as speak up for it - all I can say is that I have not been convicted yet. I view my current position as that of Paul feeling free to eat the meat sacrificed to idols as his conscience allowed him. If I am wrong, I can only say, may God show me.
The Word says despise not prophesying right and I respect your gift but while reading your post about prophetic words to Bishop Weeks… my Spirit was disturbed in that the Holy Spirit will not say to tell the Christians have NOTHING to do with the man. I pray that as you post these comments, that they are SIFTED by the Holy Ghost because what is in the darkness always comes to light. I pray for you that God grants you wisdom and discernment in all your words. Just one thing also, as Christians we ought to judge not, least we be judged.
If it be of God your words will stand but if not, they shall be uncovered.
In Christ,
L
Leelah:
>the Holy Spirit will not say to tell the Christians have NOTHING to do with the man
The Holy Spirit does not contradict scripture. Scripture tells us to have nothing to do with false teachers and false prophets, and tells us to have nothing to do with those that refuse to repent or make themselves accountable to the church. It also gives us clear instructions about leaders and Weeks does not meet any of the criteria. Weeks has no interest in what the Bible has to say. He is a hypocrit. It is right to avoid him.
what of the muslims that christianty has battered they worship your god and so many speak out against islam they to worship the eternal one the only god of abraham speaking against they neighbor is wrong and the only true message god intended for us was love and we as humans have failed at the one simple task of loveing one another as you would love your own child. What id like to know is if you are truley a prophet for god why so much fear of the world why not tell everyone who and where you are for those with a true belief in the eternal one will have shelter from the rain. Lastley the holy day is sacred for you to say t is ok to congregate and swtch saturday for sunday is wrong. during the last 5000 years the one fact is no church or government has been able to lead man all have failed because they are not of him. For a chuch to spend millions to build itself and promote itself is wrong in every way. God is free and is everywhere it is only by him that we exisit no preacher father leader government monk or church is needed to find god or to lead you on the path god is found in the air in the dirt in the water in me in everyone churches inherintly lead people astry.
Well Doug, Muslims do not worship the same god as Christians. First off, Muslims don’t believe in the trinity. They say that Jesus was just a prophet, thus taking away the Godhood of Jesus that is essential for His death and ressurrection to be effective in taking away our sin. Some muslims don’t even believe that Jesus was hung on the cross. Not to mention many inconsistencies exist within the muslim faith. For instance, Mohammed began his “belief system” by saying how he was friends of the Jews and of the Christians, even changing the direction to which they prayed from Mecca to Jerusalem in order to recruit more Jews according to Allah’s will. When that wasn’t effective, he switched back to Mecca, basically saying that Allah changed his mind. He went even further to promoting violence against Jews and Christians, saying that this also was Allah’s will and should be followed and what he once said, basically, no longer counted.
But in some ways, Doug, you’re right. We Christian’s have failed in the instance of really loving people. Heck, the Crusades are testiment enough to that fact. We use and manipulate God and His will for our own perverted sense of justice and prejudices. For that, I’m sorry. We were told to be like the Samaritan (oddly enough, someone who would be considered a heathen!) while the pious Jews of that time, passed one of their own nearly dead on the street. God loves everyone, no matter how much they break His heart and stir His anger. But absolutes do exist, right and wrong are something written in the very character of God, which we ALL will be held accountable for some day.
“Churches inherently lead people astray” “The Church” is meant to be the body of God, but as with anything involving humans, we make mistakes and sometimes our natural prejudices and fleshly desires begin to lead us away from God. A church is meant to “seek and save the lost”, uplift, encourage, reprimend, and hold accountable fellow Christians. Fellowship with other Christians (saints) is something to be desired according to 2nd Corinthians 8:3-4 “For I bear witness that according to their ability yes, and beyond their ability, they were freely willing, imploring us with much urgency that we would receive the gift and the fellowship of ministering to the saints.” (though the context of this verse isn’t quite appropriate). In the book of Acts, the early Christians were living communally (together), those who had much gave to those who had little. The only way a church is truly effective, is with Christ at its head. Without fellow believers (those mature in their faith and seeking to glorify God with their everything) to admonish and uplift you, it is easy to fall astray, into your own prejudices and the “sin that so easily entangles”.
“god is found in the air…” God can reveal himself in any method He so desires, His dimensions are unfathomable, for He is the Being who created the dimensions we know such as time and space, and exists both outside and inside of those bounds. He is supernatural, not mystical. If you truly seek God, He will reveal Himself in whatever way glorifies Him the most. Whether that be like Ezekiel, with the Spirit of God taking him by the hair and taking him on a “tour” of Israel all the way from Babylon or just sitting in quite room and being filled with the peace and knowledge that God exists and that He loves you so much, because Doug, you may never comprehend how much God loves you and how much He wants you to know more about Him, but I want you to know that.
I just found your website in seaching for answers. I probably should have just asked God instead of google. Never-the-less. I to dream and have night vision as yourself. Yours seem to be very symbolic while mine are very real like a documentary. What I see at night and the time of fulfilment is quick at times.
I just wanted to know it you have seen anything for Canada? I have.
~E: Some of the visions on this site are for people and places worldwide and not just for specific nations so you should read through them as they will still apply to Canadians. I cannot think of anything I have had specifically for Canada to date, perhaps I will ask God about it, eh?!
Thanks.
Your dreams are very real to me. The way you describe the presence of charaters, obecjts and even the color. I have fellowshiped with others with the same gift but not to the detail that we seem to share. I have often wonder if I was alone with this gift.
Is it right to assume you dream on a regular basis and in vivid color?
Most, of the things I dream about that seem symbolic are demons or demonic. I usually confront and destroy them in my dreams. I have even experienced their physical attacks at night to which the Spirit of God has to defend me. Then I pray for reinforcements.
Recently, all my dreams are like movies and have been warnings to me and friends. Amongst my friends I have been labled, “with a gift.” I desire the spiritual gifts of prophecy just not the title. I know to many people with that title and it does not impress. Rather, I look at them funny becuase why would anyone introduce themselves like that? To, me it is lame. I rather deliver a message and move one.
Also, do you utter prophecy like speaking in tongues or do you just dream them?
Thanks for taking time to read this.
~E: Almost everything I have said on this site, with the exception of two things, has not been recieved in a dream but in a vision while I have been conscious and awake and fully in control. That said I have dreamt things - more so in the past - and it has been vivid and in colour etc
I do speak in tongues but like the apostle Paul, I would much rather speak intelligible words in public etc…
I know a lot of people have Christian dreams where they preach, prophesy, speak in tongues, worship God, cast out devils, go on missions trips etc, but it should be noted that not all of these dreams are godly or from God. You can have ‘nonsense’ Christian dreams just like nonsense dreams about anything else. I know some Christians - including myself when much younger - have made the error of assuming all Christian-type dreams are always of divine origin. I have learned the hard way this is not so, and I wish someone had taught me when younger that they can be of the flesh too, but there you go, I know now! You can also be attacked with the counterfeit when asleep.
Dreams really do need weighed and tested far more because there is far more of a tendancy (in my experience) to include fleshy interpretation OR accept the bits where it gets into the flesh where the spirit ends etc. That all said, dreams can be a powerful way for God to speak to us and they are to be valued if we discern them and test them.
I cannot comment on all your prophecies, E, but with respect in terms of your demonic encounters, I do feel that you may be experiencing attack that is meant to instil fear rather than something genuine of God. Have you spoken with your pastor about these? Also, you cannot ‘destroy’ demons, so this does cause condern about the nature or source of some of your dreams at least, and this hints to me you may need to ask God for more wisdom and discernment and get into the word of God more. I say this for your upbuilding and encouragement so you may see the true from the false and not be led astray or suffer unduly from fears that stalk by night.
You are right in what you say.
Allow me to clarify somethings I said.
About the demonic physical demonic attack- its like I am paralyzed and being chocked. Then the Holy Spirit rises in me and I wake up speaking in tongues. A very beautiful experience that has happened several times.
With destroying the demons (monster like with a evil intelligence) I meant to say I render them incapable of attacking. Just like Samson. I have no fear and an incredible about of strength.
None, of these dreams haunt me or place fear in me.
I have had this gift since I was a child. I have not meet an ordained minister that could bring any clarity to this gift. Once, one told me while I sought guidance, “keep dreaming” and the same day it was fulfilled.
I understand my dreams to be training events in the event I have to do any of these works in real life. I am familiar with training and the human ability to refer back to it when necessary.
I only hope that God developes this gift for His purpose.
Also, I forgot to mention. I appreciate your ability to have visions. I think it is cool.
How do you render these demons incapable? And how does this strength manifest?
BTW, when did you become a Christian?
When they attack I fight back with my hands. Like wrestling an animal but in this case a demon. Sometimes, they have come up to me and not even dare attack because they know. Also, I have casted out a bunch of demons in my dreams that arise while a minister is preaching in church. I usually cast them out just to finish hearing the great sermon. Its like I find them annoying.
I been a Christian my whole life. I began my felloship with Jesus Christ at 16.
I must leave for an appt. I will respond today though.
Thanks for the fellowship. I need it.
~E: it sounds to me like you need to find yourself a good church to get taught about God, the cross, angels, demons and the prophetic as well as many other things. While there are not that many true ‘Prophets’ around, there are still prophetic people who should be able to understand some of what you are going through and talk you through things and lead you on and encourage you to find the truth. The internet is not a good place to talk about some of these things or even to correct them. Do you live in Canada as I know of someone who I think will understand you who I think is near Toronto?
You have obviously been talking with the wrong ministers so far, as there are many ministers of religion who may not understand totally about the prophetic (only prophets really do), but can still help you with your issues and bring you on. You say you hang out with others with a similar gift but where? And how? What you need is not just somebody who believes you, and listens to you, but somebody who understands about spiritual things and is discerning around you who can teach you to test and weigh things and teach you the things of God. Somebody who will dare to tell you you are wrong if you are wrong. This is the kindest thing to do in the long run, so please do not think if I or others disagree with you I am being harsh: far from it, I seek your ultimate good.
I do not doubt your experiences, but I, perhaps, see them differantly to you. I encourage you to love God and the truth enough to accept that some of what you may experience, however ‘real’ is not always godly, and that you need someone to help you guide you in this so you accept the true and cast out the counterfeit. Demons or fantasy or imagination otherwise can lead you a merry dance in your dreams or in daylight. Accept you - or anyone - can be led astray. Your number one need now is openess, frankness, honesty and correction, and I say this kindly not to be unkind or critical but because I have learnt the hard way and wish someone had taught me properly. I actually want you to prophesy and be built up in this, but only in the genuine. I hope you can see this and understand this. I seek your good.
Attacking demons with your hands is not biblical. Not even Jesus or his disciples did this! If you are dreaming this, and think that the strength is in you, then this dream is absolutely not of God. The only way we can ‘attack’ demons is by using our authority as a believer and standing in our relationship with Jesus Christ using the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to command them to go. Even then the power is not of ourselves but of God. For you to say otherwise, illustrates to me you need more knowledge about God and his ways and to get into the word of God (the Bible) better. Furthermore the focus of your dreams (if divine) should always be on God, his love and his ways, and not on demons.
You should not be experiencing the choking sensations either, far less in your sleep - God would not put you through this even to train you or equip you for the future as this is never something you would be put though by Him.
To have a gift since being a child (unless saved as a child) is also concerning. I am not doubting your sincerity, motives or intentions, or your desire to do good, but if this gift were of the Holy Spirit it would be given after your conversion and not before, and it would come as a consequence of fellowship with God and out of knowing Him rather than just happening. I honestly think you may have some familiar sprits around you that need to be dealt with. These often attach themselves by somebody in the family like a mother being involved in some form of the occult, spiritualism etc and passing them down from generation to generation. I do sense a lot of fear, and possibly obsession and paranoia of the occult, coming through dabbling in the occult passed on through a female family member that’s also attached itself to you albeit in another form. I think these familiar spirits are attacking you and leading you astray. There may be a genuine thing in you as well, come since your conversion, but in order for this to truly flourish without hindrance, one should deal with the false. I would also encourage you not to use tongues - at least for now - when speaking or dealing with demons, in dreams or otherwise, as it can actually counteract and not genuinely help. Please read the post on ‘testing the gift of tongues’ on this site to see what I mean by this.
Please also note that I am not saying everything you do and say is ‘false’ or counterfeit, neither do I doubt your genuineness. But I do feel there is something there that hinders you and I believe you can be free of this. I understand some ‘natural’ intuitives and psychics are scared of letting go of their ability as it is all they have known. You, however, have nothing to fear by giving your ‘gift’ you have had since childhood to God, as he will more than give you back the genuine in return.
Tell me how you started fellowshipping with Jesus?
I do not fellowship with the occult. Nor, had anyone of my family member during my mother pregnancy or through my development as a man. My name was given by God through prophesy of the Holy Spirit. So, my relationship with God has always been special to me. I have always seen His love for me in this life.
I can take correction in that I am not ignorant. I have fellowshipped in all types of Spirit filled/led churches. Just no real prophets or dreamers of dreams like Joseph or John.
True. Jesus never fought hand to hand with a demon. He was in the natural. He just spoke a word. I have to spoken to cast them out but I also have fought them in my dreams. I believe in a demonic hierarchy exist just like the angels have one. Some are more deadly than others. When my body sleeps, I enter a spiritual place. To me it is the realm of spirits. Here spirits, good or bad, and angels manifest. It is their realty. I just get a sneek peek. I have had an outer body experience too while sleeping.
As far as I know God has trained me to a common understanding about Spiritual Warfare. I learned all I can learn. No, one or any ministry has taught anything I have not heard. I dont claim to know it all, just enough to be a threat that the enemy every so often wants me dead. I count it a privaleage to be such a threat. Perphaps in this Spirit Realm they too see a sneek peek of what I am to become here in the natural. I just pray I don’t miss the purpose for my life.
There was a lady prophet I meet in my area. I have been try to contact her. I should try harder I guess.
I dont live in Canada. Just dreamt of a attack there. I felt the same way about it like when I had a dream of a lone airplane crash survivor in South America. I prayed for those that perished. Like I prayed for those that would perish in Canada if my dream fulfills it self.
I have always been a Christian. Meaning I was taught to be Christ like as a child growing in a christian home. At 16 I took an intiative to get to know Jesus at a personal level.
I fellowship through serving others. Pray the blood of Christ over my life and through my testimony.
Since everyone is on the subject of prophecy, I would like to ask a question. When you, Miriam, are hearing from the Lord, where do you hear his voice? What I mean by that is…. Is it in your mind or from outside you? The reason I ask is that, years ago I was trying to get direction from the Lord ,and I believe He let me know the way I was going about it was wrong. The way I would go about it, that I felt he was correcting me on is this: I would ask God a question and then believe He would answer me by whatever page I opened up to. The answer would literally leap off the page at me from among the words written on it. And it worked . Then one day when I was doing it I heard from in myself that I should not seek direction that way from the Lord that it was a spirit of divination. I had no idea what divination meant. So I wasn’t sure if it was from the Lord. So I said,”Lord if you are trying to tell me what I am doing is wrong then I need to hear from you with confirmation because I have no idea what divination means. So I went about my usual way of getting information from him, by asking him questions ,then opening whatever christian material I had, and letting the words leap off the page to me. Then as I did this one day I was using a Christian magazine . And instead of getting the answer to the question I asked the Lord I opened straight to a page that was advertising a Christian book and the advertisement read: Do you seek the Lord by opening to a page and following whatever direction you receive by the words that leap out to you? Well the Christian authors of this book, and they named the book, believe this is a Christianized form of pagan divination. There was that word again! And not only that, but it was describing exactly what I was doing as wrong. I knew immediately it was the confirmation I had asked for from the Lord. The only problem I had about this is that, when I heard from God that what I was doing was divination and wrong, the voice seemed to come from the stomach area. That did not seem scriptual to me that God would speak to me from the stomach area. However it could not be from the devil because the devil would not reveal that I was using divination and wrong in doing so. He had a big wrap on my life at that time because as I would use divination I would get all these answers and it would cause me to do crazy things at times. In retrospect I know the devil had his hands on me. I still, however, to this day do not understand hearing the Lords voice from my stomach area though.
Sandy: >where do you hear his voice? What I mean by that is…. Is it in your mind or from outside you?
There are differant ways people hear the voice of God, but I see, hear, sense or think it in my mind’s ‘eye’, superimposed over my own thoughts.
What you are describing is Bibliomancy, and this is a form of divination. Saying that one needs to be careful about accusing every instance of opening up the Bible at random looking for a word from God as being wrong, as I have known people being led to exactly what they needed at the time in the scriptures, and at times God can make the words almost leap up at us to bring them to attention. It is still God’s word and can still impact us, even if we have not sought it in the wisest of ways. It should never be a habit though. I guess you not only have to look at the method but the fruit of this. If it caused you to do crazy things it was not God. The devil can quote scripture and also speak the truth when it suits him. What Satan said to Jesus in the desert was true: it was just twisted out of context. That’s why you need to test and weigh everything and make sure it is in context.
I don’t really understand you hearing a voice from your belly, not do I know anyone who has told me they have experienced this, (I would have thought God would speak to you witnessing to you heart to heart, and mind to mind) but I would be more concerned as to the fruit from it anyway - if any - and its source, rather than worry where it actually occured to indicate its godliness. I seem to recall that the Greeks believed that the seat of the soul was in the stomach area, rather than the heart, and I know that people who minister healing and deliverance would find it interesting to hear your account, as quite often spiritual manifestations go on in people’s stomachs etc. They would probably therefore conclude that the voice was soulish (eg of the flesh or an unclean spirit) rather than of God. However, Jesus also said ‘he who believes in me…out of his belly will flow rivers of living water’. You’ve also got to bear in mind our emotions and feelings will also sometimes be felt when we hear God’s voice, and you need to push aside what is of the flesh to what was of the Spirit. So for instance fear or guilt could cause a knot in our stomach and sensations there that some people could confuse as being as part of God’s voice, when it is not, it is just our fleshly response. I hope this helps.
I encourage though for you to push into God and ask Him to speak to you, not through Bibliomancy, but by spending time with Him talking to Him. It would be a good idea to renounce and repent of Bibliomancy and divination if you have not already.
Hi,
Thank you for answering me. What I mean by hearing a voice from my stomach is that. I heard the words impressed upon me over my own thoughts but seemed to have originated and rised up to me from out of my stomach. I heard God’s voice audible once and other times impressed upon my mind as you mentioned. I know that of these 3 instances I have mentioned, it was not of the flesh as it was very profound and not to be mistaken as my own thoughts. Could a demon tell me that what I am doing was a spirit of divination? Would that not be a house divided against itself? That is what I have struggled with. I do not think a demon would tell on itself because the fruit of that is that I just stopped participating in the divination. Therefore starting to use my own mind instead of doing some of the crazy things that I was being told to do. And it would be telling on itself which makes no sense to me for the most part anyways.
However if I am not right and it was a demon then I need to know this.
I know you already answered me the best you were able to.
So I’ll keep this short.
Wouldn’t a demon revealing it’s works in me be a house divided against itself as the bible describes?
What does the scripture refer to or mean when it says,” Out of your bellies shall flow rivers of living water?”
This means a lot to me to try and figure this out and I have been seeking the answer for years now. God knows the reasons it’s so important to figure this out for me. Also I have repented of the divination long ago.
Everything on your site so far has witnessed to my spirit. I can’t seem to stop reading, and I feel that even though it is your words, God has brought me to them at the perfect time to grow into a new level of worship for Him.
God has communicated with me, and I want to grow closer to Him. I don’t want any false spirits around me, or anything that would keep me from our Heavenly Father.
How do you know when you are really hearing from Him or if it’s out of your own mind? What can I do to be more open to listening to Him?
Sandy, I do not claim to understand your experience, neither am I 100% sure I totally understand what you mean happened. In short, I really honestly do not know what happened in this instance, however I have seen and heard demons who do reveal themselves almost as if to mock, as well as fake deliverance sessions and all sorts.
Your experience sounds ‘odd’ and ‘unusual’ but…I would not overly worry about it now, if it does not occur now. It is hard to discern spirits behind things in retrospect unless you have some bad fruit or dodgy scripture with it or were actively involved in the occult etc. Please be at peace and do not stress about it. If God gives me any specific revelation I will give it to you and it may be others here will know or have experience of this phenomona whereas I do not.
>What does the scripture refer to or mean when it says,”Out of your bellies shall flow rivers of living water?”
It is talking about the Holy Spirit being inside us, working within and blessing us and then flowing up out of spirits/souls to others and touching others. The apostle John would have known the Greek thoughts that the seat of the soul was in the belly and so I think he was referring to that.
BTW, I feel that you have a real heart to serve others, but are afraid to do this, I see you standing like a servant with a tray of things to give out to others - but you are hesitating serving out what you have been given as there is a lack of confidence in yourself or a fear of others or something like this that makes you waver and hold back. Also a sense of doubt that God would truly give you something really good to give others, so you quickly peek at and then cover over the tray of food again (that is your abilities/gifts). There is also hurt there from many years ago. It is like you are still in mourning and this holds you back. I hope you understand what I am trying to say.
May God bless you, free you, heal you and release you to be a servant of His who fears no man but God! Oh Jesus, bless Sandy, glorious God reveal to Sandy yourself in a much deeper way so Sandy may be a lover of you, a beholder of your beauty and elegance and truth and glory, and be a servant of the way, the truth and the life and boldly proclaim it/him. I ask this in Jesus’ name. Go into all the world, Sandy. God is with you.
Justin: Watch and pray. Test everything. Just because it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and talks like a duck, it ain’t always so. There is so much deception in the church and these are the end days. Don’t accept what big name Christian leaders/authors tell you without checking it out. If it contradicts with the word of God, chuck it out. Get into the word of God and ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom and discernment and the gift of distinguishing of spirits. Trust no other man’s discernment but your own in that regard.
>How do you know when you are really hearing from Him or if it’s out of your own mind?
Anything you hear must always agree with scripture, so it is important to know the scriptures inside and out as much as possible.
Anything you hear should testify to Jesus, as the spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus.
Anything should glorify God and not man and leave one humbled before God in adoration and worship. If you start hearing you are something special or it exalts you, or makes you equal to God, then it ain’t God.
Do not trust manifestations or signs and wonders in themselves. The more manifestations a prophet has the more likelihood they do not truly speak by the spirit of God.
God does not lie or get it wrong.
I know many people keep a journal or prophetic diary and this is a useful learning tool to learn from and see what you did wrong if applicable and learn for future referance.
>What can I do to be more open to listening to Him?
Ask God for more revelation etc but do not seek the revelation for itself, or the experience, or to be anybody but to serve him and others. Also understand God chooses people as he wills, so it may be that God wants you to be a pastor and not a prophet, or an administrator and not a healer etc and so may not speak to you as much as others. Ultimately I believe revelation comes from a life laid down in sacrifice and service, and willingness to serve God and go where God leads whatever the cost. Obedience will be tested and with obedience comes more. The prophetic is hard - if you are true and faithful: not many people will like you and you will lose friends and people will tell lies about you or get jealous etc and chuck stones at you. If I knew what I knew now I do not think I would seek it, but then I did not many years ago anyway. It hurts too much and is the hardest call of them all I think. It is a lonely place and it is really only you and God: which is in many ways a real blessing but sometimes I just wish I could just sit down and be a ‘normal Christian’ and lead a quiet life when I get yet more stones hurled at me. But I will not sit down and shut up, I cannot, though others attempt to gag me, and nonetheless I must speak out and be faithful and I will honor God.
Be faithful with what you have. If you are a faithful servant whether it is cleaning church loos or being a pastor, God will give you more. However like everything it is a process. Don’t expect to be able to run before you can walk, but then also do not go others in the church’s snail pace!
I know exactly what you are saying. I can’t stop crying since reading it. Thank you and Thank Jesus.
I originally came to this website in search of simularities between a friend’s visions and other Christians with the gift of prophecy. I was wondering if you’ve seen anything about the president in the time of the antichrist? Or perhaps it is before the antichrist reveals himself, but either way…I would appreciate your help in this matter.
Sandy: God bless you!
Michelle: I have yes, if you follow the links to the end times visions there is stuff about the leader of the USA as well as other things happening in the USA in the Last Days.
I don’t know how I found this site, strange. What 8 cities in America are in your visions? I may live in one of those cities. If someone needs it, check out Francis McNutt. His bbooks and prayers are very good.
Thank you!
Karen: keep watch over the site, I think I will be posting more details over the coming days.
Hello Prophetess,
I had emailed or added a comment to your blog…HUM! Jesus my Messiah! You are a prophet sent by God to the Nations! No fame and no fortune rules your ministry! I love your stand for Jesus!
I believe God is telling the Body of Christ to “Stop looking for a Season, Time, and a Harvest.” He is getting frustrated because the fame that he has given some of his followers, has went to their head! No one is standing for truth! BUT GOD is raising and has raised some prophets, pastor’s, and apostles up in these last days. You keep standing for truth…
BTW I knew you were a commandment keeper. I copuld sense it! If by chance, can you tell me what God is saying concerning me (not nothing good but what I should be watchful and mindful of)?
God is taking you to the nations to make us repent! People in your church may not like you but “God says to keep your eye’s on Him!”
I hope you get this and respond
ENDTIMES,
I have noticed that I have been touched deeply in my spirit while reading several different posts here and sometimes it’s when you are counciling someone else but it gets me right in my spirit. There is one particular person you were commenting to and I could swear you were talking to my life circumstances. So I will allow the Holly Spirit to minister to me even if I don’t understand how that can be. But I am awestruck. Some words on here that speak so deeply to me I wonder to the Lord why He sometimes seems like he is always a day to late.
Mary: God’s word is like that. Just like the word of God in the Bible speaks to more than one original recipient. Why is this? Because the truth is the truth and God does not alter and change and wisdom is wisdom and God’s word does not return void but yields fruit. By God’s word He created the heavens and the earth. The word is powerful: Jesus Christ is the word of God in the flesh. God’s word is far more powerful that just ‘words’ of information. God in his wisdom also knows what to say and who will be reading it and when. That is why unless something is deeply private, I will post personal prophecies publically in order to bless, encourage, inspire, build up, teach, correct, rebuke, admonish, spur on and direct others too. I am not sure that God is ever a day late Mary, it may feel like that though
Sandy: re the belly. I did some googling for you. I looked up a Greek lexicon, and the Greek word for belly ‘Koilia’ is also translated as womb, appetite, innermost being, stomach. It was understood to be seat of desire or appetite. Its meaning is:
- the womb, the place where the foetus is conceived and nourished until birth
- the innermost part of a man, the soul, heart as the seat of thought, feeling, choice
Plato distinguished three ‘parts’ of the soul – mind, spirit and desire – which he located in the brain, the chest and the belly respectively.
If I said something wrong please forgive me. I only ask you to respond to my question because I do not want to be off in anyway, shape, or form. I know you are a real prophet of Jesus. I was wondering if God had any problems he needs me to work out. I do not want to be like any of the fallen even though my prayers go out to them. I know that sometimes God uses me in the prophetic and I am young in that gift. Please forgive if I offended you.
Your Brother In Christ: you have not said anything wrong or offended me, far from it. I came across your comment last of all as it got caught in the spam filter and have not had time to properly enquire of the Lord for you as I have been working since then. Nothing immediately sprang to mind but that is not to say it will not later on when I have more time to reflect.
okay prophetess…I will wait to see what God has to say…I will receive whatever whether it be good or bad (he chasteneth whom he loveth!)
Is this for the Body? It may just be for me and my church?…
I had a dream that I was like a “watchmen.” The scene was set at one of the trustee’s houses. He is the chairmen trustee. He has a big house! His son was playing outside (unsupervised). All of a sudden this car came from nowhere and stopped where the child was playing. I ran them off by running to the child. So they drove off.
It was like the next day in the dream, the boy was playing again. He was outside again (unsupervised). The car comes back…I ran for the child again but this time the men came out of the car and started running after the child and I. I ran in the child’s house. The parents were not there (it seemed). The men ran into the house…Then I woke up!
I dreamed the conclusion the same day. While in the house the boy’s mother was on her bed (in a trance but it was going up like praise unto God!) She started to singing and praising God…I had a puzzled look…Then I woke up…
Your Brother In Christ: There is truth in this dream that could be applied to the wider body although it will be a specific warning to your church. I think it is saying to the leaders to look after your flock (their spiritual children) properly, as there are wolves and other predators out there that will seek to lead astray. At the moment the flock are vulnerable and exposed to danger as they are not being pastored/protected properly and the church is in a trance/asleep. You should be the watchman and shout out the warning. I think it quite likely God has shown you other things to go with this, like specifics.
What’s going on in your church to cause danger? New teachings, new leaders, struggles for power? Perhaps it ain’t happened yet but they need to be ready for when these ‘bad men’ come. I think it has happened though. I feel there’s a power struggle going on behind the scenes in the leadership that is of the flesh - ‘lust’ for power even when in a Christian sense can open oneself up to all sorts. If they take their eyes off God, the church can be lead astray. They need to focus their eyes back on Jesus and stay humble, stay servants. Some want to be Lords and not servants though and that is a foothold for Satan.
You are right…there are some men and my mentor (whom God gave me) said the same thing you did? YES! My pastor is anointed I believe God uses him but there is everything that you said goings on in the church! WOW! I am praying…What should I be careful of? Is God pleased with my Sacrafice…I am new to the prophetic and really want to please God!
BTW! I keep seeing you eating. I keep seeing a beautiful spirit in you. I see you eating and as I pondered on my visions of you. The love that you have for God and His Word is amazing. I believe God showed me your spirit! You are His (Jesus’). U eat God’s words because you desire to deliver and bring God’s people out of bondage…I just see you at a table eating. You are not big and it is not gluttony! You are eating which the Lord says you are doing through his word! The time now is to feed his Sheep!
You hit the nail on the knob when you told me about my church. There is a power struggle and people are being hurt and many have left!
I hope to hear from you again!
Your Brother In Christ: I think, if you have not already, you need to speak this out to the leadership privately (ie not in front of the whole congregation) and warn them. Take your mentor or another friend with you if they do not listen to you the first time. If you like, tell them what I said too. However it is YOUR dream meaning that you need to speak it out. If they listen or not is not down to you, your responsibility is to speak it out. If they do not listen a second time, then you might need to consider speaking it out before the congregation of the Saints the third time but you need to pray about this before you do that as it may do more harm than good.
These men need to be warned and rebuked, and possibly avoided depending on their current position, and the church and leadership warned as to what can ensue by their actions/attitudes - there are real dangers here far beyond who has control or not. It is not about whether your pastor or whoever they are are ‘anointed’ or not - Saul was anointed too - but Saul disobeyed God and led others astray with him. Kings and leaders can be rebuked by prophets biblically and don’t allow people to persuade you otherwise. You must keep respect for the leaders though and not usurp them or encourage rebellion in what you do and say: something that requires wisdom.
You need to be careful not to allow yourself to be gagged, and also watch your own humility and servant heart and stay humble and not exalt yourself and Lord it. If the ’spirit’/lust for power goes on unchecked in your church, it will be very easy for you and others to get caught up in it, and factions to start developing and cults of personality etc etc and lots of flesh and power struggles and heresies and people to start thinking they are ‘it’. There will be a temptation for you to start your own clique and guard against it as you must respect what leadership is there, albeit warning against it. Keep in the ‘opposite spirit’ to pride which is true humility and servanthood, keep in the spirit and not the flesh, keep close to Jesus, keep your eyes on Him and off men, and serve with a heart of love and not pride. Stay close, keep obedient, and don’t try and figure it all in your head before the event. (Use your brain and wisdom, yes, but trust God more than your own understanding as some things you will not ‘get’ now as you do not have the whole picture.) Don’t think that your reward or recognition of doing or speaking the right thing or of being a true prophet or whatever will be status in the church. Status means nothing, nor does man’s praise. Be a child of God that only cares about your father’s delight in you. If He gives you status so be it, but do not seek it or desire it. Seek to be the least that God may exalt you in his kingdom (God’s exaltation looks differant to man’s idea). Be ambitious only to be obedient to your father in Heaven, even if that means being lied about, slandered and cursed rather than loved and put on a platform or TBN. If God has called you to be a prophet there are few if none that can truly ‘mentor’ you in the future, as God will lead you by strange paths to keep your eyes on Him and your ear on Him rather than listening to any man. Otherwise your mentor can become your ‘god’.
Thank you for your vision for me. That is good, bless you.
Bless you prophetess! I appreciate the Jesus in you! I receive eveything…Especially about pride because when I speak a word it comes to pass and I get happy and sometimes lose focus on Jesus! God has been telling me to stay humble and not focus on the prophetic! Before I read this sitem, God was telling me that he is greived with the body. He is upset that we have stopped seeking His Kingdom and started seeking the OTHER THINGS! That is not God! I appreciate you!
God Bless
BTW! Someone warned me of a clique that you speak of. I am in the music ministry of my church and a lot of us have been hurt and abused. “I was even told that I was taken off of Praise and Worship because I was not drawing people in and I was the reason they did not come to church.” So I have been hurt (To God be the Glory though).
So someone in the ministry wanted to start a group (praise and worship) to make sure that everyone that has been hurt or has a gift can use it. Someone told me to be careful because it could cause a problem. Is this what you see?
One more thing to tell you about a dream I had when I was younger. I had a dream that I was preaching in a cave and we were in tribulation times. I was building hope to the body of Christ and telling them that He is soon to return. Each day it was like a army truck would deliver crates of food for us to eat.
Dream Two:
Then I had a dream that I was preaching to bones. I myself was even bones. In the dream the Lord came and raptured me up in a cloud. I begged Jesus to take me back. I begged him to take me back because I wanted to get the people saved! He let me go back, this time I was flesh…I began to preach and life was brought to the people…Then I was raptured again.
A kingdom in the Sky:
I was 8 yrs old and I remember seeing a castle in the sky. I kept looking up. I was telling people about this castle but I could only see it. Then I was riding with my moms boyfriend when I was around 10 and that same castle was floating on water?
Your Brother In Christ: I was sensing in circumstances like your church’s, multiple cliques can arise because of the ’spirit’ there. Therefore be really careful as even if you think you are being well intended and it may make sense, joining a clique could cause yet more division and power struggles - can you see it may be a power struggle even if the other person claims it makes sense and it’s for good reasons? My advice (note mine and not necessarily the Lord’s word on this) is not to seek position or a tag, but just serve and do what God tells you and be obedient and just get on with it - who cares if you are in a ‘group’ or not with a label. It is about whether God is pleased with you and not man. Let them all fight it out among themselves in the background if they want seeking man’s praise, and you just love and serve and desire God’s praise. Honor and respect your pastor, but remember there is a differance to honoring somebody and allowing him to abuse you! Honoring also does not mean remaining silent about wrong doing.
Prophetess! Someone said the samething to me! You really have defined my church! Jesus the Christ! I feel like crying! What “spirit” do you sense! You are on point! What am I to do?
The spirit of power struggles and self seeking and lording it over others. That’s why it is so important to stay humble and a servant with your eyes fixed on Jesus.
>What am I to do
Speak out like I advised before, pray and stay humble and remain obedient to God. Oh and make sure you forgive all who have hurt you
Your Brother In Christ, I hope you don’t mind me asking, but what country do you reside in? You “speak” stilted english, and yet your syntax is very good.
I am from the USA. :).
Prophetess, I must say. This is overwhelming…I do not know if you sense it but forgiveness is something that I am working through. God has allowed me to go through a number of things in my life like molestation, lied on, abused, forsaken, all for His glory. I, sometimes, forgets that it was all for HIS glory. God is walking me through forgiveness and that I John love.
I remember praying to God one day and I asking for all this “power” and anointing. I heard a still small voice say to me: “You do not have my love in your heart.” Then God told me to study I John. I got to the part of scripture where John says “How can you hate your brother that you see and love God who you not see.” Then I found that the opposite of love is “fear.” For perfect love casteth out all fear. That is me. God is stripping fear and that spirit off of me.
Oh please no one feel bad about what I am and have went through…TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY!
>Oh please no one feel bad about what I am and have went through
why should we? we are all sinners too. We are all human. You are being honest which is to be commended.
If we seek to love God and love others more than we seek power and anointing then it should keep us safe - if we get stuck into the word of God with it too. Remember this: if your motive is to genuinely to obey God and to serve, love and build up others then the genuine power and gifts of God will more likely flow through you. If your motive is power for itself, for demonstration’s sake, to see signs and wonders for themselves, to prove something of who/what you are or to ‘test’ God, to be somebody, to cover personal insecurity, to make you feel good or useful, to show off, to get praise from men, then you may walk in the false or the flesh, or be otherwise led astray.
YES! That is so true! So true! You have been encouraging to me. I thank the Christ in you! Have you read the dreams I have had and the vision?
I have a DVD series from a man of God named G. Craig Lewis about “the truth about hiphop.” He was talking about seeking Glory for yourself and using personal experience to do that…he further says that is why so many homo’s are praise leaders and choir directors and preachers! You are on point…I remember I had an opportunity to lead people to worship one friday night at my church. Normaly I worried about what people thought and said but I just asked of God and He gave me what to sing and what to exalt which is HIMSELF!
God has been walking me through worship and praise and what it is and what it is not. We, body of Christ, especially black churches love shouting and speaking in tongues but God told me that real worhship and praise is a life style. Our praise and worship should go up unto God as a sweet smelling savor like the sacrafices of Old.
We make a big mistake if we think it is just ‘homos’ (which I do not think is a very kind word to use) that can take these positions. I dare to say that the proud and self exalting power seekers, those greedy or lustful for power, status or money, could in some circumstances be more distasteful to God than those struggling with ’sexuality’. (Note I do not condone homosexuality and it is unbiblical, but I also do not condone phariseeism, self righteousness or finger pointing.)
You are right about true worship:
Romans 12:1 ‘I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.’
I read your dreams thanks.
I should be careful of the verbage that I use…my heart goes out to everyone who is in sin and are undersin. My point was not to finger point…Sorry…but that is a strong spirit in the church which comes from a need to be self exalting power seekers, greedy or lustful for power, status or money.
Now maybe you can help me with finger pointing…I know that Jesus and Paul pointed out certain people to look out for and preach againts. Paul even said in Romans 16:17
“Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.” Paul did nothing but rebuke and preach against demons. Maybe I am wrong though…
Your Brother In Christ: it is not just the verbage that goes with it, it is the attititude, and we can all be guilty of this which is why it is so important to stay humble. I know many in the black church in particular (but not just the black church) use really harsh words against the gay community and I do not think it right. I am not having a dig at you, I am just sounding off! Would we talk to other ’sinners’ (inside and outside the church) and call obese people ‘fat pigs’, single moms ’sluts’, teens having sex ‘whores’, slick businessmen ’self-centred money orientated fools’ etc? Get my point? It is not the way to reach out to them! Imagine Jesus saying to Mary Magdalene, ‘right you demon possessed whore, you’ll burn in hell if you do not repent?’ Err…no, exactly my point. He showed them the love of God, ‘Come to me all you who are weary’ while being umcompromised about leading a godly life. People forget it is God’s kindness that leads us to repentance, but see some in the church yell repent without ever showing the love of God. May you truly reflect God’s love Your Brother In Christ, to your generation.
I am not sure what you mean by your last point. Do you mean we should not rebuke humans, only demons? That would be incorrect if so. I was reading Titus last night and thought at the time that would be a good book for you to read and meditate on. There it specifically talks about actively refuting people who teach false doctrines and standing up to them.
You are so right…Sometimes, like my mentor tells me, I act like the ’spirit’ of my church…That is true…God had to tell me that when I preach my aim is not to rebuke but to preach HIS words! He also tells me that when there is a rebuke that there is HOPE! God is compassionate but He is still a God that punishes…but there is always GRACE and MERCY i.e. the book of Jonah.
I have something to ask you…My roomate told me that God told him to ask me about my mom. I got so upset because of eveything that I went through with her. I eventually told him that it still hurts to hear about my family. I do not communicate with none of them and my grandmother is the root of everything wrong in my family.
Right after he told me what God wanted him to ask me. I had a dream that she (my mom) has AIDS. I have been feeling this for quite sometime. So I woke up from the dream. This morning I had a dream that I was talking to her and she was excited because she was going to revival…I woke up. I believe God is telling me that although she is sick. He is going to revive her His own way. Is this the case?
Do you mean we should not rebuke humans, only demons?
No I believe in rebuking people as well as Jesus and the apostle did. But there is always hope after a rebuke…
A rebuke should be given with the ultimate purpose of restoration and building up of the one rebuked. It is not just given for the sake of it. There is hope given in the rebuke if given wisely in the correct way and spirit. That said not all people will respond well to it, but that is not your problem.
Your Brother In Christ: I think that God is calling you to forgive and release your family, and walk through a process of healing YOU. (Note this does not always include reconciliation but it can). I think the truth of your dream and its real meaning is something that you need to search God on for yourself, as it will take you through some of your core issues: thoughts, feelings and fears about your family (and yourself).
You know prophetess Miriam. I remember talking to myself and counting all that I have lost…God took me to the scripture: If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.” (Luke 14:26). I was like “God what does it mean…” Then he took me to: “And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.” Mathew 19:29.
God began to tell me that I gave up so much to follow him and how he was going to restore everything. HE WILL DO IT, not the prosperity of satan. God began to take my mind back to when I gave up a full music scholarship so that I would not be to far from my church (nothing that leadership told me to do just my conviction and decision). How I left my grandmothers church (where I was not being fed or taught). God began to tell me that I did it all for him…It hurts because I see families in my church and how much they love it other…I sometimes feel bad because I do not have that family structure…and am lonely all the time…but I keep getting this feeling that I will be along until the hurt is out of me because I will not be able to handle a family with the hurt that I have been through.
Explain: it will take you through some of your core issues: thoughts, feelings and fears about your family (and yourself).
Yes God restores us and restores to us, assuredly in his own way and in his time. But if we have a bad attitude in some way to the things we have left behind (eg are bitter or are resentful or are self righteous or proud how spiritual we are for it) then He will want to walk through these attitudes as we have never really ‘left them’.
I remember many years ago having a chip on my shoulder saying - boasting even to God and others - that I’d left behind the love of my life, a good job, house etc for the sake of going to take the gospel to Eastern Europe. Yes I did it all and did the mission, but the truth was I resented what I had to leave to do it and saw it as a far bigger deal than it actually was. I went and took the gospel to the Eastern bloc (and loved it and was blessed) BUT I mourned over my ‘loss’. My attitude was bad, as I had never let these things go in my heart truly (I always tallied them up before God ‘Look what I’ve given up for you!’), and only years later I realised this attitude was even there and the full extent of this. I was a self-righteous idiot proud of the tiny little bit I gave to God (and lets face it all I had anyway God had gave me first!). What I gave to God was NOTHING, truly nothing in comparison with what He gave me and has given me since. Everything we leave needs to be worthless in comparison with Christ and stay worthless in our esteem, we cannot keep remembering it before God, otherwise it is no true sacrifice. I do not know if you understand what I try to say, but I hope it helps.
This is not to say you should HATE your family. What Christ was saying was an exaggeration of saying compared to the gospel, it should be viewed as nothing to leave anything behind.
Also respectfully, you have not truly left them behind if they continue to hurt you. You are wounded and need to be healed, and I think God is gently saying to you through your roomie and others, let me get to your wounds and heal them. He will do it, trust him stop running from Him in this regard. Stop trying to be a man and to be brave - yeah? God has given you a family NOW - the church family - lean on them that you be healed. If there is hate, bitterness, hurt, resentment, it needs to go.
>Explain: it will take you through some of your core issues: thoughts, feelings and fears about your family (and yourself).
Your core issues are your feelings about yourself and your relationships with others, this stems back to our interaction with our family. I think you are a hurting child that needs healed. One way God will do this is get you to talk about things with Him in prayer. This may be through you asking him about your dreams, so if you talk to God about whether your Mom needs healed etc, I have a strong suspicion God will be dealing a lot with your hurts, attitudes and feelings while doing so and get you thinking about those in the process.
I understand what you are saying sometimes it pains me to pray to God…It really hurts…I mean it really feels bad to pray to God…I mean my hurts are there and when you are being processed it hurts to pray to God about yourself (at least it does for me). So I tend to pray for others and spend little time for me…
I am trying my best to leave the hurt behind but it is hard for me. I guess that is when I should take my yoke and give it to Jesus?
Did you leave a husband? if so, how can a Christian do that?
I found this web site by chance through another blog.
I have been a christian for 30 years. Most of those have been spent in charismatic churches. I left because of to much church abuse. I presently find myself in reformed churches but am distressed because of some of the teaching espousing patriarchy there. I do not like how women are treated. BTW I think you are proably mostly on tract with your assessments of Copeland. I was involved pretty heavily in Word of Faith and Later Rain- you name it.
I’m still pretty scared to go back. It’s been 6 years now.
Do you have any thoughts what God might have in store to try and clean up the church? I also don’t like the idea of house churches either. Doesn’t seem safe to me. I find this distressing and don’t have alot of people I can talk to.
Blessing to you and thankyou for you efforts.
Your Brother In Christ: No I did not leave a husband. That would not be right. In 1990/91, I was in love with someone who I thought was the love of my life. I had to leave him: it was very clear choose him or obey God’s calling to go to the mission field. I went and lost him. It was hard but God has given me a much better guy since to be my husband.
You need to pray, you cannot ignore your hurt and hope it will just go away in time. Give your hurting heart and wounded soul to Jesus. I encourage you now, go to Him and talk to Him about it. You may cry as you pray, but if you cry it will be tears of release and will help your healing. Ask him to heal your hurts, you can trust Him. Ask his Holy Spirit to come minister to you, He knows what he is doing. Do not run away by ignoring it. This is not something I or anyone else can do for you. Sure we can help you a little, or pray and talk with you, but ultimately Christ the healer stands at your door and knocks, and you need to let him in.
WOW! Youa are right…Well let me go…I will fellowship again…Before I go…Is there anything else God wants me to do or be careful of?

>Do you have any thoughts what God might have in store to try and clean up the church?
He speaks through his prophets to try and call them back to the right ways, but ultimately if they will not listen to them or God’s word as in scripture, I think the ‘cleaning’ up will come through the fires of affliction, and the church then gets tested in the furnace. This is what is ultimately needed for a lukewarm church to get on track, as it was what was required with Israel. Many will fall away though.
It is hard to find a ‘good’ church with a good balance. There is no perfect church, and I think it parr for the course that Christians will hurt you as nobody is perfect and we are in a fallen world. I understand how distressing it is, but if we go realising we are there to serve rather than be served, and do not need to submit to abuse but rather can rise above it and rebuke it and stand up to it if it occurs, then our perspective changes and it becomes healthier for us to meet with others on this basis. However, there is no guarantee we will not get hurt, or get lied about etc etc but saying that we do need to keep meeting with others wherever possible (as commanded by scripture) and I am sure there must be some church around you that has a better theological balance than you describe. Where are you? There is nothing unsound about ‘house’ churches in themself, as it is not about buildings but about people.
Your Brother In Christ: I think you have enough to be getting on for now
God bless you, please do not ignore your needs any longer.
Thankyou for quick response.
I live on east coast- big city. I’m OK where I am for now. Websites like apologetics index and factnet are helping me alot. There are others as well.
Theologically I have been off base in some areas. I have been asking for more discernment. I realize we also test the spirits by thinking - loving God with all my mind has been lacking in many of the churches I have been in. Where I am now the Holy Spirit really isn’t recognized as He should be. I’m guessing you proably understand to some degree..
I will check back ocassionally on your site. Keep up the good work.
Thanks…Everything you said to me from the beginning my mentor said the same thing…I will report thus saith the Lord back with!
endtimes,
I was wondering if you could email regarding a question of discernment when you have the time.
Thank You, Mary
Hello prophetess…would it be cowardness to ask if you could change my real name on here to Your Brother in Christ?
Your Brother In Christ: I have done it.
Mary: I have emailed you.
Your Brother In Christ: I have altered your name here, but please do not hide from God
Thanks prophetess…I hope I was not a coward in your eyes I have to be wise…I am pretty sure that some of the members will have my hyde before time! I do not mind my name but I need to do things in God’s season and timing! Does that make sense?
You are right!
I just want to be in order and be in God’s season…BTW! I am seeking God more than ever! Trying to be like Paul said: Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:12-14
JESUS! I really love your spirit!
God is dealing with me on a number of things especially exposing to me what the CHURCH is doing…
It spelled weak and sure wrong! LOL! AND I AM A COLLEGE GRAD. LOL!
Your Brother In Christ: I do not think you are a coward, and can understand why you might not want some things posted in your full name on the internet. All I was trying to say is please do not avoid dealing with your issues with God, as there will be a temptation to do so, particularly the healing of your life wounds.
Please let me know how it goes when you speak with your leaders about your dream.
I will definitely do that…I believe you may already know ;)…I will fill you in…I want to pray and ask God whether this is the season to say it and give me the words to say…I say that because I do not want to be out of God’s season and say it and it will not affect anyone…Then I do not want to do it in the wrong spirit as to one of my other did that and was right but in the wrong spirit and it back fired on him…
BTW-You and my mentor focus a lot on me being healed and wanting the best for myself…I grew up thinking (my own belief) that having confidence was being arrogant but Philipians 1:6 says something totally different!
Your Brother in Christ: please listen to us and do not ignore it any longer. Be a doer as well as hearer of the word.
Your Brother in Christ: God has given you the dream and it is time to speak it out now if not a little overtime. Do not delay any longer. The church needs warned.
I will not ignore…I will try my best to accomplish God’s plan!
Are you saying or feeling an unction for me to do so…I listen to God and His prophets…
Yes, but I think I would say the same thing to you about passing on a warning prophecy even if I did not feel the same specific unction.
I had the oddest dream. I rarely ever have a dream that really bothers me and although I feel silly writing this out on this blog I can not shake that it means something. I dreamed I was in a room with some friends and it was dark. The room or darkness almost took on a purplish-reddish color. 2 snakes jumped out to bite me one was bright yellow and I do not know the other color. They missed. I went to talk to my other friends and they were in the bathroom doing their hair and chatting. I walked back in the dark room which was a living room. This time with no warning a king cobra jumped out to attack me and it was a huge surprise. I saw it rear up and try to strike me and I moved and it then disappeared. I tried to yell at my friends that their were snakes in the house but I had no time. Then from the side it attacked me by complete surprise, I had no time to see it coming and almost as soon as it attacked, I grabbed it’s head and crushed it. It was the most surprising thing because I had no time yet my reflexes were fast and it’s head was crushed. The snake was purplish-red in color as well. As I looked down the head was crushed in my hand and it’s blood was dripping everywhere. It was quite gross. I then looked down and saw that it looked as if I was bit. I knew right away that I would die without proper medical care. The scene changed and I was home but it was not dark anymore it was very visible in the house. My husband was there and I told him I had been bit and needed medical care. Although I was not really sure I had been bit. I then realized that instead of going all the way to another hospital that there was one right there in my own home. A doctor came forward to examine me. He said I indeed had been bit and then I could feel the bite and see it better when he examined it.I was able to see there was more then one snake bite there. Instead of giving me anti venom he said he was going to keep me for observation. I knew immediately I had no hope from surviving this snake bite because my health is very bad and my body would not have even close to a chance that a healthy person would have. I started searching I knew that I needed echinacea . I knew it was good for snake bite. I called for my husband to get it for me and he could not find it. He did not even seem to search that hard for it. All of a sudden my sister was there and I called for her to find me my echinacea and she pretended not to hear me. I knew that she wanted me to die so that others would pity her and give her attention that her sister had died. So what seemed like hours I was searching for the echinacea begging for someone to get it for me as I was dying. Noone would get it for me. I told them, as I move around the venom is spreading through my body at a much faster rate I need to lay still, please do you not see I am dying this is not something to be put off. No one seemed to care. I got up and saw it immediately on the shelf and was aggrivated they were so lazy to find something that was right there in their face. I noticed though that hours had gone by and I was not really dying. I had no medicine, no herbs, and my body was holding up as if I was never bit. I was shocked and said that my body was much healthier then I thought it was and I must have improved in health. The doctor came back and showed me that applying the blood of the snake could attack these things it injected sort of like an immunization type of thing. I remember watching his medical slide show. It was supposed to be a new cutting edge treatment they discovered. Then
I saw the testimony of a woman who survived the same snake bite as me but her foot was quite swollen. That gave me hope and that was pretty much the end of the dream.
I woke up feeling as if i had snake bites all over me and as I told my husband my dream my son told us of a dream he had.
We were on a road that was going down hill and a car came by. The car was going up hill and we were walking down. It was my husband, both of my boys,me and my niece. The car slowed down and there were 2 men inside. They asked if we needed a lift and we said no. The 2 men then revealed themselves that they were God and Jesus. They told us they needed for us to go and collect them some things. And my son looked in the car and he couldn’t see their faces but noticed a tiger sitting beside them. He was getting ready to ask them if he could see their face but we were talking. He then saw that they wanted us to collect a golden flower that looked like a tulip. The tulip appeared as if it was dead but it was thriving with life. We went to look for the tulip but couldn’t get it so we told God and Jesus that we could not get it and that is all he remembers.
When I awoke from this dream I remember the thing that bothered me the most was the surprise element of the attack and it’s color and still feeling snake bites on me as if it really happened.
It very well could have been just a dream or something we ate last night but I found it odd that my son and I both woke up with dreams that were weighing on our minds even though we can not understand them.
Sandy: don’t ever feel silly about posting anything on here. Was this last night you dreamt this stuff?
Either last night or this morning. We slept in late.
Okay prophetess I believe I will be talking to my leader on Saturday morning about this dream…
Okay…Something that has been on my mind and has been plaguing my thought pattern. The bible says we are under Grace…Why has this new teaching done so much wrong for the body of Christ? I mean I believe and thank God for grace and mercy. But it seems now that, since we are under grace, we can do and say whatever we want. Not us just the body of Christ as a whole…
Sandy: I have reflected on you and your son’s dream, and I feel to ‘teach’ the following to you. Dreams can come on several levels (as I am sure you know). So we can have normal dreams (products of our own imagination or ‘psyche’ which I will call of the ‘flesh’ realm), God given dreams of prophecy and revelation (of the ‘Holy Spirit’), or dreams from other sources such as drug induced dreams/hallucinations, and lastly from unclean/decietful spirits.
In my experience, when one has a prophetic dream, one will know about it, even if not ‘used’ to prophesying. Why? It will just feel differant, stand out from the other dreams with a special quality to it - perhaps by its lucidity or impact on our minds, and it will be hard to shake off the next day. So I am saying the ‘quality’ of the dream is usually unique as well as the actual ‘content’.
This is important to remember. Why? Because I know many Christian folk will have Christian dreams about preaching/healing whatever and will assume as their dream has Christian content to it it must be prophetic or ‘from God’. This is not true. You can have ‘normal’ dreams on a flesh level about Christian things that are not given of the Spirit, just as you dream about other things in your normal day to day lives. So just as you may dream of going shopping in Walmart after shopping there, so you may dream of going to church after going to church or reading the Bible or dream of prophetic events after hearing an end times sermon. Likewise you can dream of future ‘prophetic events’ such as the rapture or another 9/11 etc etc but it may just be a normal dream like anything else. This dream could just be jumbled up ‘nonsense’ as any other dream. I know many many Christians have made mistakes of listening too much to their dreams from a flesh level as they have not discerned the source of the dreams. So you need to discern whether a Christian/prophetic dream is just from you or if it is indeed given by the Holy Spirit. This is the first and most important thing you should do.
In you and your son’s case, I think your dreams were on a flesh level. Now this does not mean they are invalid, rubbish or should not be listened to - far from it. Now just because you discern that a dream is not specifically prophetic from the Spirit, it does not mean it should not be listened to, it just means we should not attach such significance to it. Flesh-level dreams can still be ‘God-given’ in that they can sometime reveal a great deal about us, our innermost thoughts and fears etc, that on a concious level we may avoid. Recurring dreams in particular should be listened to, as it normally shows something we should be dealing with in our lives.
Your dream about the snakes tells me a great deal about how you feel about yourself, your family, your illness, your thoughts and fears of people not really caring or listening to you etc etc. It tells me that you need to deal with these emotions. I know we spoke about forgiveness and bitterness in another post, and bitterness just like snake bites is venomous in your system. It needs to be dealt with.
I hope this helps.
Your Brother in Christ: grace is not a new teaching. I suggest you read I Corinthians and also the book of Romans which deals with this in great detail. In a nutshell Paul says that although we have freedom in Christ, we should not just going about doing everything and anything we like. Also, if you truly love God you will lead a godly life anyway as you will want to honour Him and please Him as you love Him, just as when you are head over heels in love you do not need to be asked to buy gifts or do nice things for your beloved - you do it ‘naturally’.
The Holy Spirit sanctifies us through and through and makes us Holy. If you are full of the Holy Spirit then you will be led to walk paths of godliness and led to loving and honouring God. If your ‘anointing’ does not lead you to love, honour and submit to God it is not of the HOLY Spirit! It is vile and have nothing to do with it.
‘Everything is permissable but not everything is beneficial’.
Please note that I have opened another thread for those people wanting words, rather than this thread get overloaded with off topic stuff.
