Christian prophecy for the church and for the nations from a servant of God called to speak God’s word

Statement of Faith

There is only One God, creator of Heaven and Earth and all things. He is all knowing, all powerful, all wise, perfect in every way, beautiful, glorious, wonderful and loving, kind, forgiving, and just, and Heaven and Earth cannot contain His presence. His power and word sustains all that exists, and in Him ‘we live and move and have our being’.

God is love and loves relationship with His people. He made man in his likeness, ‘a little lower than the angels’ and gave man stewardship over the earth. He also gave man free will - that is the ability to choose between right and wrong.

Man has an enemy: the ancient adversary Satan, the serpent found in Eden. Satan was once one of God’s most beautiful angels, his other name ’Lucifer’ meaning Light Bearer. Satan is not equal with God, he is not omnipresent or ominiscient.  There is no such thing as equal ying and yang, or equal light and darkness. Never! Satan was a created being yet he got proud because of his great beauty and wisdom, and there was war in heaven as he sought to exalt his ‘throne’ over that of God’s. God could not allow this: Satan the serpent fell along with some other angels and he now actively seeks to destroy man: particularly the saints. Lucifer still can look extremely beautiful in that he often appears as ‘an angel of light’ to seek to rob, maim, destroy and decieve - Christians must realise that the devil does not always look like a character dressed in black with a pitchfork, he can look very ‘holy’ and full of ‘light’! In the last days a man will appear empowered by the Devil called the Antichrist, who will decieve many, even Christians, and you can be sure that the majority will not realise the true evil behind their false ‘Messiah’, they will think he is great!

Satan helped man to fall in the beginning, by lying to and seducing our forefathers Adam and Eve, and encouraging them to directly disobey God. Satan said that man could be as God and not as just mere men loving and serving and worshipping God, he was trying to subvert God’s leadership over man.  Of course man can never be equal to God, and can never be right without relationship with and obedience to their creator. Man fell by his disobedience and sinning in the Garden Eden, and this brought him death, suffering and separation from God and paradise. Man also then came under Satan’s power who then became ‘the prince of this world’: Satan’s works include deception (spiritual blindness) sickness and death and disease. He robs and destoys. He robs man of life and happiness and truth. He continues to lie to man to this day about God’s character and love. If man truly knew God’s ways, and was not blind to it, he would not continue sinning but would bow down in adoration and love and serve God - the only wise choice in the light of revelation of the whole truth.

Despite man’s fall, since the beginning God has sought to bring man back to Himself. He has sought relationship with him, attempting to woo him back to Himself. To this end, he promised that one of Eve’s descendants would crush Satan’s power.

God has made Himself known to man through the prophets, the law of Moses, the written word of God (found in the Bible which in its original form is inerrant and is useful for instruction, teaching and correcting etc) and finally God made himself known through Jesus Christ who appeared in the flesh: the ultimate revelation of God and his character.

Jesus Christ was the fulfilment of all the Old Testament prophets’ words, the long awaited Messiah, the Christ, the anointed one, the One and Only Begotten Son of God. He is the descendant of Eve that came to destroy the devil’s works. As prophesied, he crushed Satan’s head (his power) but Satan bit Christ’s heel (Jesus had to die a painful death on the cross for this to happen).

Jesus Christ is the word of God. He came in bodily form, and was fully man and fully God. He was born of the Virgin Mary, who although honoured by God was not sinless herself, neither was she born sinless (pp the wrongful doctrine of the immaculate conception), and she herself had need of a saviour. She is not perpetually a virgin as she went onto have other children: Jesus’ brothers and sisters.

Jesus Christ lead a sinless life, he went about teaching, proclaiming the good news, doing good, delivering people from demonic influences and sickness and finally he was crucified. This death on the cross was to fulfil God’s law of justice which required a perfect and sinless scapegoat to redeem mankind. On the third day, Jesus rose again. He appeared to many of his disciples in bodily form after God rose him again from the dead, and he then ascended into Heaven and will appear again to earth in a like manner at the end of the age when every eye shall see him coming in the clouds, where his saints will be gathered up in the air to him (aka ‘the rapture’) - those alive at the time and those dead. Jesus Christ will then judge the living and the dead.

Jesus’ name is above all names, and at his name every knee shall bow.  God is pleased to have all his fullness dwell in Him and make Him head of the Church. He is the only mediator between God and man, and any that say otherwise are of the antichrist.

Because of Christ’s atoning work on the cross and his resurrection, we can have forgiveness of our sins and redemption from Satan’s power if we repent of our sin in His name. We can have hope of eternal life in our future resurrection of the dead. We have the promise of the Holy Spirit that does not lie to us now and seals our hearts. He testifies that although we were once far off, we are now children of God, and inheritors of the promise, and can approach the throne of God boldly at any time in prayer if our conscience does not condemn us.

Man is saved by grace and not by his works. No man is righteous in himself before God: all have sinned and fallen short of what God expects. All are under eternal condemnation unless they accept Christ’s sacrifice: nothing else is sufficient. Man is saved by his faith in Christ’s work and by repenting of his sins (that is turning away from them, not just asking forgiveness for them or ‘asking Christ into their heart’). He then becomes righteous by faith and the Holy Spirit indwells him. A Christian should in obedience be baptised with water (fully immersed) but this is not essential unto salvation (pp the thief on the cross). Man is expected to lead a good life, and to also witness for Christ, but these works in themself do not save Him from the fire - only Christ’s atoning blood does. God will call believers to account for what they have done or not done with what God gives them. He will reward them in Heaven (or not) for their works on earth and what they did with what they had and knew. A believer should thus watch how he builds.

No believer is perfect, but in Christ we have forgiveness, and his indwelling spirit empowers one to lead a perfect life if we will but submit to His Holy spirit, who empowers and sanctifies our spirits, souls and bodies to become perfect.

There is a baptism of the Spirit, where man can be filled with boldness and power to witness effectively for Christ. A sign of this baptism can be speaking in other tongues and prophesying.

God has given spiritual gifts to His Church, such as gifts of miracles, healing, prophecy etc, and these are given to build up the body and to witness for Christ until He returns again.

The ‘church’ is no one single denomination - nor is it a building. The church is a living structure made up of believers. People therefore technically do not ‘go to church’ - they are the Church! They should however (where possible) meet regularly with other Christians to break bread, fellowship, teach, disciple, encourage, exhort, spur on, correct, admonish, rebuke, worship God,  serve each other, pray with each other, evangelise and proclaim the kingdom of God and follow the early church’ Apostle’s teachings re: church doctrine and structure.

All Christians are expected to help fulfil the Great Commission.

  1. Hi

Can I please urge you to take this up with Patricia in person, (not in public). I’m convinced that this is not her heart, and if wrong she would rectify immediately, and that we MUST not allow division in the Body of Christ!

    Be blessed in abundance!

    In Christ, Izak.

  16. I am just so very curious Miriam; are you a pastor or minister of a ‘brick and mortar’ church? Or is this your platform singly? I have read several of your ‘inspired’ (hopefully) words for, and/or against several people.
The thing that just keeps resounding in my head is “Judge not, lest ye be judged.” We are all guilty of judgement to a greater or lesser degree in the myriad situations of life, but my head is just spinning with what your (or God’s) opinions are of some of these people. Please don’t take offense of my curiosity…I am a struggling Christian, just coming back into the loving arms of an amazingly loving and forgiving Savior. This past Easter weekend, beginning with late Friday night; I have had NUMEROUS, if I may be so bold, MIRACULOUS events take place with me personally. After running across this blog, I am wondering if I have been visited by the power of the Most High God intervening in my life, or if the Devil is trying to deceive me into believing that I have…
I would love to know what you might discern of my experience

    Sincerely,
    Barbra

    Comment by Barbra | March 27, 2008

  17. Barbra - no this is not my soul platform - I minister in ‘the flesh’ too and that was my sole thing up for many years until this blog started just last year.

    >>The thing that just keeps resounding in my head is “Judge not, lest ye be judged.”

But that is in a different context entirely to judging false prophets and false teaching and church leader’s ongoing sin. Yes, we have ALL sinned and we ALL still make errors from time to time, but that is really not the point, when one has been called to warn the church about false teaching and false spirits etc. etc. Please do a reading on all the Bible numerous passages about us standing against and rebuking the false, as well as read the OT prophets in a new light seeing how many times they spoke about false prophets….also look at some of the choice words Jesus (and the apostles) used against the hypocrits etc. etc Obviously then ‘judging’ (in terms of stoning the adulterous woman and thinking oneself spiritually superior to a ’sinner’ (pp the pharisee and the publican) is another thing entirely to discerning, rebuking and warning error….and church discipline.

If you test and weight all things properly, then you won’t be decieved by anyone, least of all the devil, into believing anything untrue or false - that’s the whole point of testing it - the good stands up, the bad is revealed in the light. I cannot comment on your recent experiences without knowing more detail - but don’t you believe the apostle John when he says for the church not to beleive every religious experience or manifestation but to test the spirits as many false ones have gone into the world? If Satan and his schemes were so obvious, he would not have warned this to the chuch, would he?

Do you suppose there is the connection? Do you have any proof of the comments made about the angel Swift? I need someone to email me at consecrated1954@yahoo.com. I believe PK is in grave error.

Sorry Miriam this PK thing is actually under the wrong topic.

  22. Not sure I can believe anything you say either in the way you talk about others. If you are a true prophet why do you have to tell anyone? Won’t God do that for you?
Can’t you just let the Holy Spirit point things out to people? Why do you have to talk badly of them? Just my thoughts.

    Comment by prp | April 12, 2008

  23. prp,
Read Galatians and how Paul corrected Peter. It was not nice. Stop thinking that teachers who are teaching false things should be treated nice. That’s the problem with the church. No one wants to offend anybody. And because of that, people are being led astray by the multitudes.

    Comment by Mary | April 13, 2008

  24. The Word tells us to test the fruits, and the prime test being love. I find little love in your writings, little compassion. I find a lot of the fruits of our enemy…fear, divisiveness, judgementalness, accusing, and especially mis-information. i cannot find a single article that I have read which has not used manipulation and misinformation.
For example, the first article I came upon compared someone to Jim Jones a mass murderer because in the early Days Jim Jones may have used some similar langauge. The comparison is extreme manipulation and does not let your revealtion stand or fall on its own merits. Typical stuff by the accuser of the bretheran.
I do not disagree with many of your points or revelations of scriptural ineerancy or other’s manipulation of the Word. Its just in your eagerness to “expose” you have fallen into your own error.
We are not called to police each other as Christians, especially in public as you do. Its a disgarace to the body.
There are ways in which you can lift up errors and ask questions without attackin, condeming and bearing fruits of hatred and discord. I see others in this blog have also encouraged you along these lines and you respond with defensiveness and liscentiousness for yourself to continue unabated in these areas.
May God have mercy on your soul.

    Comment by Kathie | April 26, 2008

  31. Miriam(i think that is your name)
I applaud you and your stand. I was sucked in recently by someone, won’t mention any names who directed me to a few gatherings, now, mind you, I’ve been alone for quite a long time and am disabled with a pain condition. Going to ‘formal church”, and then a Vineyard a few times. I decided staying home and reading and seeking the Father on my own was the only way I would find the truth. Also, finding people like you who tell the body what is going on as well the wonderful writing of Derek Prince, God bless his soul. I found his writings and scriptural connections were straight from the Lord as do I find yours to be. We are living in a time when there are many sheep in wolf’s clothing and the Lord wants this revealed to the true remnant who seek the “TRUTH”, that is the only way I can word it.
The way I met this person I was referrring , the one I accompanied to meetings, I had thought held my same interest in the site “The Voice of Elijah”. I later learned that she had been referring to Eijah list site, which are two entirely different entities. After going to several of the churches that she recommended, the woman, that is, I had noticed I was being attacked from all over, each side of me. So , the other night, I went to the Lord with great burden. The woman was trying to lead me to that Tod Bentley revival, she would also describe her burping, and travailing almost animal sounds , that she claimed was from the holy spirit. This did not lay right in my spirit, so again, as I said, I went to the Lord. I prayed fervently that He show me the “TRUTH” for what it really is. I got in my spirit that that was not real, to beware in these end times of the false prophets. Lo and behold, I begin reading some of the favorites I had saved and endtimepropheticwords was one I had saved. I went to your site, and I believe the LOrd led me directly to you.
I am faced with many things right now, with my husband and a girlfriend he has and how he has betrayed, deceived, and used his own wife to try to get what he wanted. I had chosen to believe in my husband over what God had told me was the truth, and I had to repent for that. Well, I had to repent for my association with this woman , too, for I feel that it borders, for those who get into that line of leading, on blaspheming the holy spirit, God forbid.
I am so thankful that God revealed these truths before I really got into it, but I still felt as though I needed to repent for even getting close to it, and I thank you, sister in Christ, for revealing these truths for I, too, believe we are to be watchful and warn our bretheren of the dangers that lurk in these end days.
I would really like to email you if I could personally, for I could really benefit from some council on a few issues, if that is possible and if you are willing. As I said, right now I’m very much alone, I am relying solely on the Lord to bring me through and I know I will. I know that I am in the midst of killing off a lot of my own flesh through this present fire with regard to my husband and then this last encounter with false prophets.
Thank you again and may God outpour His blessings upon you, peggy

  32. no wonder the world looks at us and says we can not even get along. The scriptures says if you have something agaisnt your brother you are to go to HIM.Then if he will not hear you are to take someone with you, then you are to make it public. I know that many of us believe a little different but we still need to walk in unity. When something draws me CLOSER to Jesus, I can usually be sure that it is of Him. I am a pastors daughter and dad was always against so many other denominations and consequently, my brother will not go to any church because he says if everyone else was wrong then maybe we were taught wrong to. That has also happened to one of my best friends and several of her children. I know that we are to expose SIN but be so careful in trying to just expose a difference in beliefs and experiences. I am sure that you are a sincere person as is Todd and some of these other people, I do not know Todd but what I have experienced through the revival is LIFE changing and my sisters healing came for a brain tumor and we have the documented medical records. Wendy was praying and God had showed me that she would be healed. At first when I saw Todd, i judged him and I was corrected by the Holy spirit and I took the correction. If I had not took the correction and repented, I do believe my sister would not of been healed. I praise God for His nercy and grace on all of us who fall short at times on our doctrine. none is perfect or totally right about every single thing. Be blessed and careful

  37. YOU KNOW ALL THIS TALK IS NOT OF THE LORD> IT SEEM LIKE THIS PEOPLE who are critisizing HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY ABOUT EERYONE> WE NEED TO FEAR GOD AND NOT TOUCH HIS ANOINTED ONES. ARE THEY PERFECT? ABSOLUTLY NOT. ARE YOU PERFECT? I believe those people that are being critisized and put down are the most devoted God fearing people i know. After all the Religeous pahrasees said Jesus was also from Satan. We need to be careful. The manner that this website even tells people about those Prophets are not from the Spirit or Heart of God. Satan is the Accuser and the hater. So just be careful.

    Comment by Jane | May 7, 2008

  38. Guess what Jane? You were an ‘anointed one’ when you accepted Christ as your Savior from your sins and welcomed the Holy Spirit to live in you. You do not need anyone to impart those “anointings” on you. It is like someone selling you another arm when you already have the two you need.

The prophets, teachers, pastors of today are all on the same block with us regular folk, no one is above another. We can all correct each other anytime we feel there is stumbling going on, whether you’re in my Sunday School class or leading a seminar in a large arena.

Stop making these people idols, they’re not any better than the rest of us. Just because they’re on T.V. doesn’t mean they know more than you or I, or that they’re holier than you or I.

Criticizing and putting people down is not what’s going on here. If people like Miriam/Endtimes didn’t care about your soul then there wouldn’t be a peep out of her while you followed the Pied Piper’s melody over the cliff.

If someone’s intentions are to get me out of harms way then I will gladly accept them pointing out where I fault. This overly sensitive society we’re living in is getting on my nerves. All these ‘hurt feelings’ are getting us nowhere. No work is ever going to get done if we keep whining about how heavy the burden is to carry.

Throw it over your shoulder and get moving. Life is more than likely not going to be full of smooth roads, sunshine and butterflies. It’s hard work, that’s why we look forward to finishing the race laid out for us, instead of wanting to stick around in worldly pleasures that distract us from doing God’s work.

  40. Hi,

I wish to share some important message concerning the times of the end, and the understanding of scriptural prophecies. In fact, i do have the message in a free e-book at Lulu.com, which is my understanding of the great prophecies of time. I also wish to get a response from the readers, as to whether or not they agree with the postulation thereof. I do not mind being criticized. According to the analysis of these end-time prophecies, the world today has less than eight years to wind up all manner of earthly business, as the return of Jesus Christ shall then be due. Should you find this gospel to hold water, then please help share the same will all.

The title is ‘Time of Trouble February 2016′ at the following address; http://www.lulu.com/content/412988

    God bless you.

    John

    Comment by John | May 13, 2008

  41. I’ve just found your site. It seems to be a product of the web in that there are loads of different viewpoints stated and in this you have very little editorial control. But… Love one another is a good place to start. You may disagree with someone elses theology/practices but you should not slag them off in a public forum. Ask this, is Christ preached? Are signs and wonders following the explanation of who Jesus is? Do these signs and wonders have any lasting fruit? Are people concentrating on who God is or are they wondering where they can get their next fix of ‘anointing’? Are you prepared to take time to pray for, not against, those with a different opinion to yours?

Good to see people are talking. Unity is agreement, not uniformity of theology. There is still a raging argument on the question ‘Is God is inside or outside of time’ After several hundred years of debate the Bible is still unclear on this matter. If you start with either viewpoint you can prove it from scripture by looking through your own ‘temporally tinted glasses’. Unfortunately people argue about this minor point and so negate the clear teaching that we should love one another…

Weigh up what you see, if you find it lacking then ask God to bring HIS revelation to the key people. Not your revelation. The Bible is full of imperfect prophets. John the Baptist, who in Jesus opinion was more than a prophet (Matt 11 v 9-11)doubted who Jesus was (Matt 11 v 2). Jesus’ reply is telling, ‘Report what you see…’
Our Saviour implied that we should weigh it up in the light of the evidence. He didn’t quote scripture, he said weigh up the evidence.
Elijah gave in to a serious attack of the ‘poor old me’s’ and doubted that God could work, yet God sent an angel to feed him and didn’t slag him off for making a mistake.

God is wonderful. I appreciate the guidance that I had when a new christian and I also regret not questioning some of the theology I was taught by those same people. I have debated with those from all sorts of theological backgrounds and I find that God loves them all, wants the best for them all, desires unity of purpose for them all, and disagrees with all their theological positions, including mine, on some minor point or other. This means that when we concentrate on our own theology, to the exclusion of the purpose for which God calls us, we all have the potential to be false teachers.

If there are viewpoints that are different to your own, learn to ‘major on the majors and minor on the minors’. If Jesus is accurately portrayed by the other persons view then the gospel is being proclaimed and God is responsible for the ensuing mayhem. Revival is messy. It has been messy through history. People get attacked both physically and verbally. The devil loves it when Gods people attack each other.

I challenge all who read this to ask themselves a question, and to answer it honestly. Am I prepared to pray consistantly for Gods blessing for those that I disagree with until God moves and changes them or me?

If it’s that important then put up or shut up. If it’s not that important to you then get on with what God has told you to do…

Great site once you have sieved out the critical. I have added you to my favourites list and will be using you to continue my personal research into revival and current moves of God.

  42. hey, miriam, I actually agree with you on something. Benny Hin is an absolute skam artist. I toured for a while a well known rock band as a put up/take down crew member, (my cousin is a tourbus driver). I got to sit and listen, as well as minister to some of the tourbus drivers. Apparently my cousin’s bus company had been contracted for Benny Hin’s american tour recently. What I heard was incredulous, but they also showed me tape. When they started the tour, the bus drivers were instructed that they were to come up front when Benny Hin asked for healings that had happened, and come up and say they got healed of something. They brought wheelchairs and crutches with them so that they could bring them up with the drivers at different times. Every single service all these bus drivers were forced up front as if they were healed that service. He also has a mouth like a sailor when he’s not in front of church people (they have that on tape too), and is one of the meanest people they said they’ve ever met. That’s sayin something, considering they drive around alot questionable characters. Like I said in an earlier comment though, I will totally admit that there are those just in it for the money. Just not all of them are.

  44. As an American I am deeply grieved to see her turn her back on The LORD. I have enjoyed searching through your website and will be back. I wanted to share a song that I wrote that talks about what America is REALLY LIKE:

    “In God we trust”

America the beautiful isn’t pretty anymore
she’s putting on her makeup, but it’s not working like before
in the pocketbook she carries, on the money that she makes
are four words that once meant something, but now they just look fake

    “In God we trust”
    a motto on our dimes
a whisper from the past barely echoed in these times
we laugh at His commandments, each one we proudly break
we don’t even have a conscience, but our currency boldly states
    “In God we trust”

how long will that promise that some would call a crutch
share a home with Jefferson on the nickels that we touch?
does America really care about the God she’s left behind
the One that she’s erasing from the chalkboard of her mind?

    “In God we trust”
    a motto on our dimes
an anthem from the past barely echoed in these times
we laugh at His commandments, each one we proudly break
we don’t even have a conscience, but our currency boldly states, “In God we trust”

The LORD has been telling me that “desolations are coming. Get prepared.”

We as Americans have turned our backs on HIM and His grace and mercy has its limits-then His judgment falls. Woe to the U.S. We have chosen to worship our gods of money, sex and ourselves.

  45. I just wanted to say something about the phrase “love one another”

This has been used to tell off people who stick their necks out when they see something in the church with which they fundamentally disagree with.

However, while Jesus commanded us to love one another, he didn’t mean to like one another or to romantically love each each other.

He meant ‘agape one another’ and the word agape means to meet each others needs. That can even mean saying things to one another that we don’t want to hear, but need to hear.

That’s what this site is doing. It’s like the little boy who said “the emperor isn’t wearing any clothes!”

We need to hear if there are wolves in sheep’s clothing.

    Shalom.

I have a personal friend, Bobby Sullivan, who is an associcate evangelist of Bentley’s that I have been discussing this Lakeland Outpouring with since its inception. He is just so caught up that he cannot see beyond the surface and into the foundational errors that fill those who are at the helm of this thing.

My phone rings continuously and I find myself contending for the faith in regards to these things as well. I wanted to thank you for some of the resources that you have provided in the midst of this.

  50. Dear Miriam
Came across your website looking for false prophets and teachings !!! the reason was that our church is getting caught up with the gold dust and todd bentley phenomenom and it worries me . I am worried for it is our commision from God to preach the Gospel and not for the signs and wonders and make them idols, it is to present Jesus to the people for a gold flake or an angel will not bring salvation , but lure them into false teachings and a hope of falsehood !!! The greatest miracle is someone giving their life to follow Jesus !! We are all serching for the truth and get it wrong a lot of the time , but in Gods word there is the truth, what more do we need apart from Knuckling down and reading it asking God to reveal it to us !! I pray that God has choosen you for this mission and what ever is written on this blogg it is from love !!!!God only works for good Isaiah 41 vs 10 ” So do not fear I am with you; Do not be dismayed for I am your God; I will strengthen you you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous righthand ” love mal

  51. Dear Miriam,
In Joel 2:28, at the endtimes God will pour up His spirit, and we believe we are in the day of Noah, the Homos and Lesbians are getting stronger. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit, and false prophets are judged by their fruits. Many churches just preaching the word with no power, no wonder there are divorces and sins in the church, and they are no better than the worldly people. There are more demons in the church members than the seculars. Shame on us, the preachers! False healings and miracle? These men will not glorify Jesus if it is from the demon. From the same mouth, one cannot confess Jesus is the Son of God, died and crucified, if they have the antichrist spirits or demons. If you never done deliverances on demon possesed person, (who cannot confess Jesus is Lord), then you do not know the kingdom of God. You do not know the Beelzebub from Christ. For the Spirit of God has not revealed that to you. Ask Him, and it shall be given to you. Your fear has given you confusion. Confuse people cannot discern right from wrong, until it is too late. I hope you are not one of them. There are false prophets and teachers, Sia Baba, HareKrishna, Smith, Daelama, why are you slandering and speaking against your own brothers and sisters who are in the same body of Christ.
Just because they spend more time with the Lord, and have more anointing and you do not understand the power of God. Jesus said greater than these ye shall do, why are you marvel? Where is your faith? Devil will not glorify Jesus. How many demons have you cast out?
I grewup in a country that the demon powers are real all the times, full of witchcrafts, and you American Christians are sleeping, you think we are crazy, wait just a little longer and you will see these power of darkness are working more boldly also.

  52. I came here just looking of something different to present to my Sunday childerens’ church class. I was amazed that the number of evangelist that are false “prophets”. What information I did gleen, is when we ask God our heavenly Father for something the bible states in Luke 11:11-13″ If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask for a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? 12. or if he shall as an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13. if ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your childern: How much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?”
I confused…I ask God for healing, revelation and he sends me to a “false prophet?” Doesn’t sound like My God.

God did not send the false prophets and teachers and charaltans, but the church allows them in, including YOU when you naively refuse to test and weigh teachings. And you are responsbile for those kids in your class, so you do not just have yourself on your conscience. Please obey God and test and weigh all things,

I have noticed that a lot of people on this blog have no church. A lot of people are alone and could use fellowship of like minded believers. What can be done about adding a message board on here for everyone to fellowship with each other and ask questions for those of us that need some guidance and ideas. I would love to talk to some other women that are going through similar things and are trying to avoid deception. It would be nice if we could all support, encourage, and pray together.

Remember that: “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Rom. 8:18″ God is taking you to another level of glory in Him. Just continue to trust in Him. He will give you perfect peace if you keep your mind on Him and trust in him Isaiah 26:3.

Remember that God will never leave you or forsake you. You are not doing this to be popular or to gain friend but you are doing this for the remnant of God. You are turning the hearts back to God. Trust in the Lord and lean not to your own understanding. Keep acknowledging God and He will direct your path Proverbs 3:6.

You have no idea of the money this man spends on a single suit and does not wear them twice or the shirts to accompany them. And then there are his hotel expenses. Is there any reason to spend thousands of dollars a night on a hotel room? Anyway my girlfriend has a real hard time with the Todd Bentleys and the Joshua Mills when her and her husband were first hand witnesses of Benny Hin.

    And I wonder why I question things . . .

    Comment by onethatquestions | June 2, 2008

  69. onethatquestions: Your name says it all. We should all question peoples motives, Benny Hinn has made his very obvious. Seems to me their false teachers popping up everywhere who would love to fill Benny’s shoes.

But you know even at that, it wouldn’t matter to me what someone had as in riches, there are those in the bible who were very rich, for with God all things are possible, it’s their message and what they teach, and the doctrine they hold to that concerns me, and it should be for everyone.

Jesus made it so plain a child could understand what riches really are, and we are NOT to set our heart on the riches of this world. If by some chance God did make one rich, by all means it’s not by anything we have done.

But all to often some think it is, and get all caught up in justifying it, as if they earned it. They don’t call “unmerited favor” for no reason. God says it rains on the just and the unjust, he blesses the just and the unjust. And you can only be just by a justifier, which in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Aside from that though, when you chase after the riches of this world, then you have now turned yourself over to a God of mammon, and Jesus said you can’t serve God and mammon! Many are claiming their serving god but in reality their serving mammon, and unless God does change them and they see that, then like the bible says, its easier for a rich man to enter the eye of a needle than for a rich man to make it into heaven! You’ll hardly ever hear a rich preacher now days preach on that, though there may be some, it’s rare!

  71. Thank you so much for your warnings about the Lakeland “revival”. I am a Christian who has recently come back to the Lord, and it was so easy for me to get caught up in the intense worship and emotional “healings” of Bentley and his group. I went to the meeting on Memorial Day, hungering and thirsting for some answers for my life. After the meeting, Todd went around the perimeter of the building, quickly laying hands on each person’s head. His assistant, Kira, was right behind him to “release” anyone who didn’t immediately fall down drunk in the spirit. I did not fall down, like most everyone else, so she came after him and touched my head and shouted, “Release”! I didn’t fall. I left feeling as if there was something wrong with me or something blocking me from recieving all that God has for me. A good Christian brother emailed me warning me that Todd’s ministry was working through decieving spirits, and so called angels. That prompted me to pray and view Todd through unbiased eyes on the internet. I can see now what a great deception this is! The worst thing is that it is spreading like wildfire around the world. Bless you for exposing this charlatan.!! Yours in Christ, Denise

  72. I have just found your site. I am encouraged so much. It is so easy to feel like Elijah and think we are alone. I have been thinking about starting a blog myself as I feel I cannot keep silent. One contributor here suggested going to the people themselves. Believe me, I have tried. I do believe that has to be the first port of call. When it comes to taking it to the church, where do we take it? People know where we stand and do not take us seriously.
My latest attempt was to speak to God TV. All I could do was tell the young lady on the switchboard to check it out for herself in the Bible. She said she would, maybe she will, I pray so. EMails and letters go largely unanswered. I doubt Todd Bentley will answer my questions, Benny Hinn didn’t.
Pastoring has become a real battle of late there seems so little time to equip new believers with the tools to keep safe in this time of demonic activity in the church.
It seems our babes in Christ must grow up fast and miss out on the wonder of it all if they are to be kept safe. So many have been sucked in before they have had time to learn what it’s all about.
It breaks my heart to see it.

keep up the good work. This message needs to get out. I like the way you present it and give people a chance to comment.

  74. In the Bible stories, people were healed by their faith;”let it be done according to your faith.”
Theology has nothing to do with it.Simple faith did.
If you have the faith “of a mustard seed”..it will move mountains.
Todd’s ministry has people who have pain and suffering and often no hope.. a chance for their faith to rise up, and with prayer of others it is strengthened and the power of God meets them there with a healing or miracle.God loves us!
Todd cannot do this, only God.
Ministers and theologians who actually read their Bibles need to be reminded of this.
Jesus went about healing all people.
When you ask Jesus into your heart it is an act of faith;that same Jesus will move on your faith when you step out towards your miracle.

To all the theologians out there..”without hope the people perish.”The word of God states this.
Remember..the Pharisees didn’t recognize Jesus as the vessel they thought God would use either.
I have had a healing miracle years ago, and it took faith, not theology. My eyes and heart were focused on Jesus at the time and His love for me…not on the minister.
The Bible also says”you will know them by their fruit!”
Looks to me like the Lakeland outpouring is bearing good fruit.
I wonder if the “theologians” and doubters would think the same and speak the same if they were at death’s door, or told their condition was imposssible and there was no hope?

  75. Praise the Lord, Miriam!
I just read some of the comments on here and just wanted to lift you up as another saint of God in the name of Jesus Christ, the word made flesh. You are an anointed vesseld of the Lord , being used by truth (God) for his truth in the matchless name of Jesus.Alot of people don’t understand , how you’re able to see in the spirit about certain things and people, so they’ll question your “reasonings”That’s what the God is telling me, God said to tell you that you should not at all get discouraged, you should stand strongly in him. There is jealousy about your gifts amongst others around you and here, your light of God is being made known to all around you.As I am speaking, I am reminded of Noah and Moses…both were given major assignments by God, some were non believing of the work being performed by them…but in the end the victory and glory in their lives was evident by their obedience to him. That is you sister Miriam,Keep going in faith, God sees what you are doing and he is pleased. There is no need to answer any questions of who you worship with, who’s your pastor etc, God has ordained you, God has chosen you,You were hand picked by the mighty hands of God to bring forth the word of God.I too get those qusetions too and I was ordained over the internet through the Church of Living Water..I only got the paper certificates for “man’s ” sake , not mine because I also know that God has already made me his vessel for his work.I’m accountable to no man, I’m accountable to God..for he has the plans laid out for my life….not man…I love him (God) so much! Miriam I know you do too, Keep up the good work..God is indeed pleased with you.If you’d like you can definetly keep in touch with me

  77. My other sister in Christ sent this to me and I wanted to send it you about Juanita Bynum….deliverance for her is indeed in need for her.God was not in what she was trying to do, only what we do for Christ wiil last….not what we do for self.Juanita really needs those scales removed off of her eyes in the name of Jesus!

    Here it is:
Juanita Bynum’s Emergency Prayer Kits Cause Strange Fire On HSN Set

Prophetess Juanita Bynum, a popular TBN regular, was a featured seller on the Home Shopping Network Saturday. Dressed in a stunning long white gown, Ms. Bynum was captivating to watch as she peddled her $500 .00 emergency prayer kit, complete with a Hebrew prayer shawl, a small vial of anointing oil, and gospel teaching tapes. Amazingly, in the first hour the profiteer sold more than 3,500 kits, with the charmed ease of a seasoned and shrewd used car saleswoman.
But as she began the second hour, repeatedly using the spiel “This powerful intercessory package has become mandated by God to become a primary weapon in your personal prayer arsenal! Your emergency kit contains everything you need to discover true power in prayer! ‘Buy one, or even two, now today!’ thus saith the Lord,” suddenly a stack of nearby prayer kits caught fire. Within seconds, the entire set was consumed by flames. Luckily, everyone survived the accident, although the prayer kits were all destroyed.
The cause of the fire is still unknown; fire chief Sam Storner had this to say just yesterday: “We’ve ruled out arson, faulty wiring, cigarettes, spontaneous combustion, gas, grease, etc. as triggers of this blaze, and right now we’re stumped.”
Marcus Jillian, a private investigator for Allexium Insurance, which handles HSN, thinks he has the answer: “The oil in the prayer kits fueled the strange fire, but I’m still searching for the cause of the spark.”
Renowned charismatic prophet Clem Kiment thinks God’s anger was the spark: “Our Lord has had enough of today’s superapostles merchandising the Holy Spirit. The only emergency prayer kit a believer actually needs is the Holy Ghost Himself, and He’s simply not for sale!” he wrote today on his website “The Sound of Free Freedom.”
The prophetess, however, remained undeterred by the accident. “I’m coming back next week with 10,000 more prayer kits, plus my new $5,000 Juanita Bynum fountain pens. All truly prosperous King’s kids should own and be using one or more these classy pens to write with; Bics are for those ignorants still living under the curse of poverty.”
HSN had no comment about the blaze other than “The strange fire has brought Ms. Bynum so much extra publicity that next week she’ll surely become our most profitic vendor.”

  79. Simone … the bible speaks of Satan as coming as an angel of light. So if Jesus is the light of the world and the great deceiver comes as an angel of light … you tell me if he (Satan) wants to deceive you into being saved? Of course he does … but saved into “What” is the question. If he; being the ‘angel of light’ can masquerade and create a counterfeit salvation, healing and experience for God’s children than he has succeeded in his mission. Let us not underestimate the enemy. Something all soldiers are taught when training for battle. And would you not agree we are the soldiers in God’s kingdom and in a great battle.

  80. Good morning……I have read much of the work on this site and feel deeply rewarded. I have read Miriams answers to questions posed on this section to try and get a bettr feel for her. I have prayed that this website and all it says, and reveals, is from God and not from a person with an agenda of evil. Satan would relish much in a website as this, as it would be a place for him to be able to destroy good that is happening in congregations, nationwide.

Because of that, I needed to try and find Miriams heart and prayed that she is “real” and has no such agenda. I have, with a small amount of trepidation, continued reading her site, ad especially this comments area, studying both positive and negative responses. Actually, I am even going to call the Minister from Raven Outreach to see what he has to say.

The reason for this study, is that I feel our congregation may also be heading down the path…..the wrong path. I have audience with the Elders on any doctinal issues, but find that I hit a brick wall when I mention possible problems with certain “revival” centres.

I have been looking for verifiable linkages between KC and IHOP, linked to Morningstar, and Lakeland, and Brownsville, and Toronto……..it seems to me that this is more like a “good old boys” club. I am looking for negative doctrinal issues that they all utilize in their walks to show that they may be taken to task. I see on this site, and others, that they seem to share doctrine, training, mentoring and even visiting/preaching. I am trying to build a case for our church to keep away and just be strong in Simple Truth without the gimmicks and “new things” that are not Biblically sound.

    Any comments?

And Miriam, if you are truly God centred, I applaud you for your work and this ministry……it is very necessary.

How can so many believers criticize a revival where so many people are coming to know Jesus and getting saved? If criticism must emerge, let it be of the “churches” that are getting no one saved! Our living room was full of friends when the power of God fell in our home and everyone was on the floor weeping and calling on God. Is the “church” so clueless that it thinks prayer meetings are wrong? Wes

ps- Are you aware of the message that Jimmy Swaggart Ministries has been preaching? What is your thought on the matter if you are familiar with it. Thanks for your time.-

  84. Wes, I’ve been around for quite a long time now, and I an tell you that the likes of Todd Bentley (and many others) accomplish less than nothing. In fact, when the hype evaporates, all that will be left is a load of hurting people that will go back to their local churches needing loving care. Here’s a question for you - how many people have been “saved” at Lakeland? I’d love to see a number, and we can then compare it to the number that will still be believers in 1, 2, or 5 years time. My feeling is that the actual number of conversions is actually very low and, once all the noise has gone away, these people will lose interest in God. They’ve not become disciples of Jesus, they’re following a man and a circus. Time will tell and I’ll be happy if I’m proved wrong.

  85. Rev.Ronan:

I couldn’t help but to respond to you, and I just wanted to give you my take on the Swaggarts.

As we all have our view, by view of the Swaggarts is that they teach the truth, and despite their past mistakes, as we all have had them the Swaggarts has always been and is now out to get the truth of Christ out. I don’t believe they ever had anything but good intentions, and they most defenantly work under the true spirit of God, nothing fake about them. The spirit they work under is the real deal, it is the real McCoy.

Their not perfect of course, no one is, but for a fact they don’t go off in some wild teachings as with most of the main stream. Their one of the few, that hold to truth as much as they see what truth is according to the bible, and their heart is most defenantly in the right place.

The spirit of God has always moved in the Swaggart’s music too, unlike a lot of the music you hear today, it is moving and brings peace, the way I see it. I don’t think Gods spirit would move like that in his music if it weren’t of God. Jimmy’s music has always moved me, I’ve wore out tapes from him. It uplifts Jesus and not man, period.
I feel their one of the few that sets the standard in which we can go by, most everyone else gets into all kinds of crazy off the wall teaching and preaching, and by the way, I’m what you might consider a critic, if I can see it, I know anyone can. Their the real deal, and once you give their teachings a real hard look, then you can smell a fake a mile away. They pretty much set the standard on the true gospel of Christ.

  86. Wow Ron, that is some serious support of JSM! Bro. Donnie has ministered at my church a few times and we have been blessed as well by their ministry. Joseph Prince is also preaching a message of grace and faith through the finished work of Christ that has been received a lil better by some because of the “grace” in which he presents the message. Some have voiced concerns in the prideful and “above reproach” remarks that have come from Bro. Jimmy in past and recent issues of the Evangelist and I was interested in yall’s opinion. Either way, I am still curious as to the affiliation of this blogger if any exists. The Lord bless you.-

  88. Rev.Ronan:

I remember a time in the mid 80’s when the only TV channel I could get on my 50$ TV, had the Swaggart’s on it in the morning at 5:00 am for thirty minutes. I use to wake up every morning before I went to work and watched it. Then when I was in my old car I would listen to Jimmy’s music, and between his teachings and his music I use that for my daily spiritual food. That was when I was new to the faith, so I really did need it. Well to make a long story short, I’m to this day very glad I did tune in and had Jimmy’s tapes. I have had the Holy Spirit move on my life in great ways, and I give credit to the Swaggart’s ministry for it.

And I also thank God for setting that up for me too, as I had very little money to go on as my job just barley got me by. When I was 19 I had a road to Damascus experience, on a overdose of drugs, and it was a wake up call, I don’t believe I could ever forget it. So the swaggart ministries teachings fed me in the time I really needed it.

And in fact just a few years before I overdose I was actually making fun of the swaggart’s, and laughed at them, how ironic huh?

If you knew what my life has been like I know for a fact you would call that nothing but God, because no one I mean NO ONE could take any credit for my upbringing, not even my parents for I barely even knew them, and in fact my dad died, when I was 8 yrs old.

To this day when the bible says Gods ways are not your ways, I know what that really means, and it doesn’t mean falling for some signs and wonders in these fake revival movements.

I’m so glad my faith was built by Jesus for he is most definitely the author if it. And I know the spirit of God, because God made sure I knew it, and how that I was lead to that position is nothing but a full fledged miracle of God.

Some people let past mistakes that some have done to blind them of a move of God, and even though the swaggart’s made mistakes, they have also since recovered, and I think to this day it was allowed by God to keep them from the pressure of outside influence from this last day false teachings and utter nonsense. And are now a beacon to a dark world, much darker now than what has been in the past.

And I’m the last one that judges according to the money people may make, for I don’t look at that, I look at the spirit that is there and the teachings that they teach.

  89. Well Praise the Lord Ron! Its good to hear such a testimony of hope. My only “gripe” if I had to have one about JSM is some of the undertone that comes through in statements that propose their ministry to be one of the only ministries that preaches the true Gospel of Grace through Faith in Christ and His finished work. I have seen people leave their congregations because the Pastor didnt say the word “cross” enough, and though these folks would not admit such, they themselves make a “Law” out of a message that obliterates the dependence thereof. Its ironic to say the least, yet alarming. Others are encouraged to stay at home and send their tithes to JSM while forsaking the congregation of the brethren. Others are even encouraged to start their own church and to affiliate themselves with W.E.F which is repeatedly described as NOT being a denomination. I thank the Lord that they are a ministry that is striving to teach and preach the truth of God’s word, I just pray that this message of Grace and Faith through the Cross would not turn into the very thing that is helps deliver people from…righteousness through works; or in this case, through unabridled and blind support of JSM. The Lord bless you mightily. This blog has been quite an eye opener to say the least.

  92. Where are the scriptures to back up what you write when speaking about what the bible has to say? Your statement of faith has some truth but as you say “Lucifer still can look extremely beautiful in that he often appears as ‘an angel of light’ to seek to rob, maim, destroy and decieve.” Why not say “the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy” John 10:10 referring to Satan.

    Comment by Angelina | June 23, 2008

  93. Angelina - why need to when I am writing in as plain English as possible, intentionally? You see what I says backs up scripture, you do not need every line I write to be annotated, you just need it to be backed scripturally - and it is. So what’s your problem?

    Comment by endtimespropheticwords | June 24, 2008

  94. I do think that some people need to be spoken plainly to understand. But my problem is that there is no scriptural reference when you quote the bible. What I am saying, where can I and others find the scriptures that you talk about so that I may read them for myself and not just take your and others’ word for it when it is spoken…just like pastors, ministers, etc give verses when reading and/or teaching the bible in a study or at a Sunday service? If you know in what book of the bible it is written but not the verse, that’s okay. But to reference it will help even more if you are speaking truth. Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” Matthew 7:14 “For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life and there are few who find it.”

    God Bless you!

If anyone wants to know where and what something I say is in scripture, all they gotta do is ask :)

    Comment by Jeff | June 30, 2008

  97. Thank you I read your post with the lady speeding through Pheniox. I will apoligize for my miss spelling up front, I never did quite under stand the english language.

I am in a perfession where men are rewarded great sums of money to twist the written word to their own benefit. As a lawyer, I am vastly familar with men who can mangle and twist the clearest statement to say something any normal person would never be able to read into the words.

You are correct, the Bible tells us to study the scriptures, to test the spirits, and speak out against those in error, or worse yet claiming to speak for G-d things that are not backed up by the scripture. Like you said, even Paul was never against others searching the scriptures to make sure what he said was from God. We are to test the angels. Yet, we were made lower then the angels, but we are not to question men? Jesus had a big problem with the religious leaders of his time, why was that? It was because they had the scriputre and distorted it and contradicted it by following their own interpretation, not what G-d said in his word. Same with the catholics leadership. They opposed the printing of the Bible in ordinary language so they could control the people. Non of the religious leadership being interested in actually leading peple to Jesus and the living G-d-all to keep power in their own hands. The lay people could either not afford their own separate scripture, were iliterate, or could not read the language the Bible was written in. They had to trust that what their religious leaders told them G-d’s word meant. Today, thank G-d, we do not have that excuse, we have the word written in our language and it says what it says. I long ago asked the Lord to help me read the bible, study it and understand it. It really is a very simple book. If you don’t understand it G-d said to ask him for wisdom and he would give it. I know what G-d’s word says because I read it. A lot of times these people preach things and it has flavor and sounds of truth, but then when I read the word, I find that is not what it says at all.
G-d will in his time have a nice talk with some of these people. We all will get our turn face to face with a living G-d. I think he will at that time have a lot to say to these so called prophets who are more interested in increasing their own power, getting monetary gain etc., then advancing the Kingdom of G-d. G-d is not poor and does not need orphan and widows money. If a ministry is having money problems they need to ask G-d for the money as he owns all the gold and silver in the world and gives it to whomever he wants. A lot of these television ministries got this totally backwards, we as christians are to give money and help the widows, orphans and poor, not take their last dime so they can live extravently. Anyway, they will have to answer to G-d about all this in his time. Preachers and prophets are to be held to a higher standard and should be able to very easily show where what they say and do is scriptural. Saying G-d told me so you have no right to question me, is totally unscripural and the arrogence of the flesh, given the Bible says to study to show thy self approved unto G-d a workman that needth not to be ashamed. II Tim. 2:15.

The big problem I see, besides leading people astray-and Hell is a very real place that once there you don’t ever get to leave, is that these people are doing things that flat out violate the scriptures. Take Mr. Bently, he is dealing with spirits, of that I have no doubt-but where the spirits are from and what gospel they are teaching, I have lots of questions. One of these spirits appears to be a spirit of violence. According to Mr. Bently’s bio. He was a very violent person when he was younger. He did some terrible things to innocent children and his own family-mother. Things that Jesus said he would be better if the perpetrator had a mill stone tied around their neck and drown. But, coming to know Jesus makes us a new creature, however, how is what Mr. Bently describes what he is doing in healing meetings, that are supposedly direct from G-d, a sign of repentence of his past violent character? Kicking a lady in the face, who I am going to assume was seeking the Lord with all her heart. Vengence is mine sayth the Lord, this one he will be answering to G-d someday, face to face, of that I have no doubt as G-d clearly states he is the protector of widows, orphans and the helpless. (I did notice Mr. Bently’s voice was smart enough not to tell him to kick the big bikers in the face.) How could men of G-d stand there and allow this abuse of G-d’s beloved children to take place? Wasn’t there police officers or security in the building? Sounds to me like felonious assault, kicking someone with biker boots. I suppose the security was there to protect Mr. Bently, not the spectators. Especially, knowing this person’s background of violence and abuse of the defenseless, or was his teenage years G-d’s training session for his later violence in his ministry? We are also told in scripture to not touch his annointed ones, so why would a voice, this gentleman thinks is from G-d be telling him to kick this women in the face? God said if we ask for bread from him, he would not give us rocks. So why would G-d tell him to kick a women in the face who appears to have been seeking G-d with all her heart? How is this violence anymore acceptable then people like the Son of Sam, ect., who all claim to have been told to do what they did by direct revelation from G-d? I don’t remember Jesus, Paul, Peter, etc., having a lot of security or P.R. people running around. Whats the problem, G-d needs help bring people to his meetings or protecting him physically? Mr. Bently did say since Jesus said he had 12 legions of Angels the Father would send him, if he asked. Mr. Bently claims that we as chrisstians have the same authority-but then has to waste G-d’s money on human security guards at his meetings?
My question is this: has this man ever repented of his violent past? If so, why is he still using violence when preaching about the good news? Doesn’t repent mean to turn from? When Did Mr. Bently turn from violence? According to him his abuse of others is now G-d sanctioned and the only difference is he can now get his power trip by abusing helpless people in front of a crowd and spirits.
Same with this guy named Bob Jones. Why after he harmed women who were seeking G-d, for his own lust, ever be allowed again to be a leader in the church. I suppose at the time he did this nonsense he supposedly was having visons and other revelations from G-d telling him to do what he did, yet now he is again allowed back into leadership positions? Why what has changed, because he has said so? One would think after betraying G-d’s gifts, the priviledge to be a leader of a flock of G-d’s sheep, like he supposedly did, he himself, if he truly repented would never again want to be in that position. G-d is all about second chances, if you truly repent, but how can we as humans ever trust these people again? If we allow them again in these positions of trust without proof positve of true repentence and turning, we are just as guilty, if the dogs return to their vomit. When do you not allow these people church leadership? Second time they betray G-d’s trust, third time, what if they say they repented each time? (Nice racket if you can get it I suppose, except for the fact that each of us is accountable to G-d and will have to answer to G-d’s face as to why we allowed such people back in positions where they are abusing the flock-assessory after the fact.) Especially, when they claimed to have been initially speaking for G-d and obviously, they were not doing anything but seeking after their own lusts.
Yes, G-d says that in his time he will take care of these wolfs in sheeps clothing, but, he also tells us to be aware of them and their signs and wonders, especially in these last days. If these people actually are getting revelations from G-d and visitation from G-d’s angel and not demons masquerading as Angels, then they should have no problem squaring it with specific scripture that supports what they are told. If the word is from G-d and not their own lusts, why would they even take offense at someone asking them to show where what they are doing or being told can be found in scripture. In fact why would they take even an Angel’s word for anything unless what they say is found in scripture? Unless they are like the Pharassiees who took that attitude that since they are in a certain position as spiritual leaders of Isreal, no one-not even the Son of the living G-d had a right to question their actions and beliefs. These people are men and as men we all make mistakes and all fall short of the mark, but when we claim the office of a prophet, everything we claim to have heard from G-d had better be 100% accurate and found in scriputure, if not, then G-d himself, in his word it says we are not to fear them as they are speaking their own words and are not from him. Also, we are not to fear those who can destroy just the body, but only fear him (G-d) who after he destroys the body can then destroy the soul in hell fire.
I just don’t understand how supposedly christians can just take everything some one says, because they say G-d told them without it being subject to scripture which G-d said is his word, just because it is followed by signs and wonders. People get saved and healed even in meetings that are not of G-d, as G-d is a rewarder of those who dilently seek him. If someone comes to these meetings having faith they will be healed G-d will heal them, as he is soverign and does what he said he would do and when he decides to do it. If someone truely repents they can be saved anywhere when the Holy Spirit convicts them-it is G-d that does this not man-sometimes even in spite of certain men, so the fact that miricles and people are being saved does not mean the preacher or prophet is from G-d or doing G-d’s will. If everyone’s salvation or healing depended on the preacher present’s relationship with G-d, then we would all be in trouble. Fortunately, it is the Holy Spirit that leads us to Jesus and convicts us of our sins, not man.
A lot of the stuff I am hearing is flat out attempted manipulation-which is witchcraft-if I say and do certain things in certain sequences then I can manipulate the spirits to do my bidding. G-d is soveriegn - we do not control his actions or his angel’s actions. As born again spirit filled christians we are to do G-d’s bidding, as shown in his word. I pray that G-d opens people’s eyes and see this selling of indulgences for what it is, it appears to be to glorify and enrich these men and not to glorify G-d. By the way, if you are getting angels to do your bidding, they are not angels of G-d as according to scripture they only do G-d’s bidding. However, demons and fallen angels will do what you want for a time and season, but ultimately they are there to destroy your body and make sure your soul ends in hell-a good enough reason not to be playing around with them.

  104. FINDING HOLINESS IN CHRIST: BREAKING FREE FROM SIN FOREVER

Everybody has an opportunity to reach eternal life. Jesus Christ came into this world to deliver you from sin. You were created a holy soul and you were made perfect into God’s image and likeness when you were in heaven, forming part of Jesus’ body. However, sin separated you from Jesus Christ and his body. You (Jesus’ bride) divorced Jesus (your husband) when you followed the devil’s deceiving lies, just like Eve did in the Garden of Eden. Jesus created earth to give a second chance to all God’s children to be able to come back to him. Jesus came to earth to bring back all God’s children that had been stolen by the devil. Jesus came to bring back what was lost. Matthew 18:11 «For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost. » Jesus will rescue all God’s children lost to the devil because that is our father’s will. « “What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying? And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray. Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.» Thus, Jesus Christ has come to rescue us from sin (separation from God). Jesus Christ will restore our rightful place in him. Jesus Christ came to give us back our holiness. He will make us holy because he is holy. You must not believe the lie of the devil that nobody can be holy as Jesus Christ because that is the main reason why he came to this world. He came to free you from sin, so you will not sin ever again. You were not created to be a sinner. You may have been born a sinner but this is not your true nature. The devil has you under a curse called sin. The devil wants you to believe that you will never be able to stop sinning as long as you are living in an earthly body. THIS IS A LIE!!! WAKE UP!! You are God’s child. You are the body of Jesus Christ. You will become one with him. This is just a temporary state of your being. You were created to spend eternity with God, in Jesus Christ. You are living a temporary life outside of God because of your disobedience to God (sin). Thus, once Jesus Christ perfects you in Love, Obedience, and Faith through the Word of God, you will be able to come back to him, just like you were with him before the creation of this world. Jesus Christ came to break the curse of sin, to break the chains of sin. Jesus came to truly set you free from sin forever. Your glory will be restored in Jesus Christ. The true grace of God is Jesus Christ working in you to make you perfect for the Father. You must understand that it is not you doing the works but it is the Word of God in you who is working to make you holy. The devil does not want you to recover the Glory and the power that you have in Jesus Christ because he knows that you will defeat him easily if you start living in Christ (The Word of God) again. Thus, he has established, through false religion, the thought that nobody can become holy. The devil knows that once all God’s children wake up to the true of holiness, he will have not more power over their lives because sin will not rule their lives anymore. Old nature (sinful nature) gone, new nature (holiness) in. Old Self dead, new creation in Christ alive. Then, it will be the end of evil reigning on this earth. All God’s children would be perfected in Christ. Therefore, there will be no need for this world to keep on existing. Jesus Christ will bring Judgment to the wicked and Glory to all God’s children.

Sin shall not have power over you once Jesus is done perfecting you in this world. Your true glory and life are hidden in The Word of God. Thus, the only way to unlock the chains (of sin) that the devil has set around your life is to completely surrender your life to Jesus Christ. You must walk with the Word of God to later on walk in the Word. Jesus Christ can make you perfect because he is perfect. Matthew 5:38-48 «Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect. » If you are ‘bone of his bones and flesh of his flesh’, he will be able to defeat sin in your flesh just as he defeated sin in his flesh, making you a HOLY person (JUST LIKE HE IS HOLY) to walk a sinless life, but you must believe it because that is where your true faith lies. Do not take his death in vain by refusing to accept the truth. Only by walking as he did, you will be able to go back to him, where you belong. You must understand that Jesus came into this world to free you from sin once and for all, not only to wash away all your previous sins, but to help you stop sinning altogether, to become Holy, to become a saint for him. You must understand that you are part of him and he has already defeated death and sin in his body. Thus, since you are a member of his body, he will defeat sin in your earthly body (your flesh) if you truly believe it because that is the purpose of your salvation. Salvation means deliverance. Thus, your true salvation is the deliverance from sin forever (because sin is what is keeping you away from God since it is the only thing that satan used to take you away from God in the beginning). You do not need to worry about your soul salvation if you are a true child of God because you are a member of his body and Jesus will not loose any of his members. Your name is written in the Book of Life. You have been predestined to be with God forever. Nothing in this world will be able to separate you from God. The fear to the eternal fire is for the devil’s children, not for God’s Children. The devil’s children want to establish this fear in you because they know that they are already condemned. You must be concern of being free from sin once and for all by walking with the Word of God, becoming Holy to be able to come back to God. After Jesus has finished his work in you; you will not be able to sin anymore because whoever has been reborn in Jesus does not sin. 1 John 3:8-9 «He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. »

You must understand that Jesus Christ will help you walk on this earth like he walked by filling your heart, soul and mind with the true Word of God. 1 John 2:5-8 «But if anyone obeys his word, God’s love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did. » You must not allow false doctrines to keep on brainwashing your mind. You must read the Word of God yourself and allow God to give you his revelations. You can not take your eternal life too lightly anymore. You can not leave your soul into somebody else’s hands. The devil’s main mission is to keep you a prisoner of sin until Judgment day. However, Jesus’ mission is to eradicate all sin from your life until you become holy. You must understand that you have to be completely free of sin to reach eternal life. Hebrews 12:12-17 « Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. ‘Make level paths for your feet,’ so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed. Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. » 1 Peter 1:13-25 « He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.” …Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever, because “ All flesh is as grass, And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, And its flower falls away, But the word of the LORD endures forever.” Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you. » I know that it seems impossible to live a life without sin but you must remember that nothing is impossible for God. It may take your entire life to completely extinguish sin in your earthly body but Jesus will do it if you are a true child God because he has already defeated death and sin.
